Sid Meier’s Civilization 6: Rise and Fall is packed with content and offers many new ideas for the game we know. Unfortunately the original game has not been improved in all ways.

Celeste shows other platformgames how its done. The game combines difficult but honest platform action with an emotional story.

The first big dlc for Assassin’s Creed Origins is more of the same. It is okay, but simply not very surprising.

Iconoclasts might be the most beautiful Metroidvania we have played these past few years. The concepts are not very original, but this game feels like a love letter to the ‘90’s in many ways.

The Inpatient is very impressive at a few moments. Virtual reality, the sound effects and the voice controls make for an intense atmosphere, but the story feels a bit shattered.

The second game of Tokyo RPG Factory is a nostalgic trip for jrpg-fans, but it also struggles with the same issues as I Am Setsuna. The story is not too great and there are many gameplay systems that you do not really need.

This is how a remake should be. The original remains intact, but with beautiful graphics, slightly adjusted controls and some nice extras that do not change anything. Fans of the original can therefore take a breath, because the remake is made with all due respect and love for the eleven-year-old game.

You might expect a collection of bad jokes about penises and that is what this is, with many fun minigames and a crazy story.

Monster Hunter World is much more accessible than the other Monster Hunter Games. Systems are significantly easier to understand and unnecessary parts have been removed, without making the game feel simple. What is left is a constant thrill.

This is an excellent VR game with good movement options, fist fights and the possibility to really look a suspect straight in the eye. It is such a pity this game is only limited to a few cases instead of the full game.

This is a game in which you can explore, fail, succeed and keep repeating that. That sounds easy, but this is a very complex and rich RPG.

PUBG is exactly what the hype says. Its exciting, its filled with explosions and the easy rules make you come back for more. Too bad it is so buggy.

Its easy to call Brawlout the new Super Smash Bros, but where Smash Bros really is a party, Brawlout is a lot more competitive. Great for people that loved Smash Bros. Melee, but only if you are ready to do a lot of grinding.

Gorogoa is a very unique game that feels like the life work of the studio or of a master in art. The puzzles are innovative and intuitive, making you feel like a genius.

Purrfect Date is an original datingsim and visual novel. You are talking to and dating with cats, which is crazy and great. And there is a very good mystery waiting for you in the mids of it all.

This game is a fun collection of the most popular minigames in Mario Party history, but the content of the game is too little to really make it an interesting replay.

It is easy to call Brawlout a Super Smash Bros.-clone. It is, but this game choses competition over party and if you are ready to do a lot of grinding, you will thoroughly enjoy this game.

VFR does not compromise when it comes to visual beauty, but talking about controls and gameplay, Doom does not really seem fit for VR. We miss the raw feeling and the cockiness of this loved shooter.

The Switch version of Yooka Laylee already includes the important updates of the other platforms, meaning that the game is a smooth play without any bugs. It is a great genre to play on the go, though the game itself does not really offer enough originality.
