Impact Winter is an original survival game. It is not an excellent game, which is mainly due to its repetitiveness. We do like the addition of the clock running backwards.

The Surge obviously got its inspiration from other games in the genre, but when it comes to world building and level design the German Deck 13 simply does not impress.

Thanks to its layered gameplay, the entertaining singleplayer and impressive cinematography, Injustice 2 is an amazing game that can even be enjoyed by people that are new to the fighting genre.

Farpoint is exactly what PlayStation VR needed: a shooter with beautiful environments that works well and keeps you entertained for multiple hours.

The Way of the Hado minigame is awful and the two new characters are a let-down. But, Street Fighter 2 is a classic and it fits the philosophy behind Switch perfectly.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is in between Fire Emblem of the old days and the newer games. It misses a lot of elements that we love about the newer titles, but it still brings enough new elements to the table to keep things interesting.

It's is beautiful how Dreamfall Chapters tells an amazing story with modern subjects such as racism and technology. Too bad some conversations take ages.

Good acting, a formidable world and a truly interesting story: Wilson's Heart is a great adventure game. Especially in VR the game is breathtakingly beautiful and creepy at the same time. Sometimes it feels like the studio does not trust the gamers though.

LocoRoco Remastered is the same great 2006 game, but in a higher resolution. As the game was pretty perfect back then, it still is, but there have been so many great platformers lately, it's hard to LocoRoco to really stand out.

The 90's shooter is back. Strafe offers interesting roguelike elements, while nostalgically referring back to the legendary Quake and Doom. Don't be fooled by the simplistic level design: Strafe is anything but easy.

Prey seems like an ode to Bioshock more than it feels like a retelling of Prey 2006, but it unfolds as a layered and thought through sci-fi game that invites gamers to play tactically. Talos-1 is amazing when it comes to level-design and detail.

Tetris was already perfect and it shows that Puyo Puyo is a great addition to it. The game has a lot of modes and options and the storymode is a great vehicle to put more time and effort in this legendary game.

This is a beautiful storybook. Giant Sparrow shows how interaction can play a big part in storytelling.

Though the puzzles are very easy and the game could have been longer, Rick and Morty-fans will love this VR experience. There are so many Easter eggs and secrets to reveal, even after the 5 hour storyline Virtual Rick-ality is great.

Sniping in Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 works like a charm, but the rest of the game is a let-down. On the content side and the technical side Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is simply not worth your time.

Voodoo Vince seems like a cutesy platformer, but in its storytelling and humour it gets pretty dark. The puzzles are kinda challenging and the big jazz thing it has going is surely interesting. However, the gameplay mechanics feel very 2003 and the level design is just bad.

Outlast 2 is sadistic and violent without being subtle about it. Fear is not beneath the skin; it just hits you in the head like a hammer. It's not perfect, but it is great.

There is an amazing roguelike hidden in Flinthook, but there are simply too many annoying things about it. The design is simply brutal, too brutal for anyone to really enjoy this game.

Looking at the level design and the monster design Little Nightmares is one of the best horror experiences out there. It does come up a bit short when it comes to platform gameplay and horror experience. It seems the five hour duration is exactly right.

You do not buy this collection because of its good games: you buy this because you want to think back to the time you were little, enjoying these games even though they were crazy difficult.

Syberia 3 is filled with point and click clichés, and it does so in a very uninspired, nonchalant way. The controls are bad, the dialogue is meh and the repetitiveness of the quests is even worse. The one thing we really enjoy is the setting.

This is the best looking, most comprehensive Mario Kart game ever. This is an essential for Switch, though Wii U-owners who have played the game and its dlc for years might be a little bit less interested.
