This game is ideal for 3DS. The two games in this bundle are different enough to make them both fun to play. The gameplay is just as strong as it was on mobile phones, so we can forgive the game for being so awfully difficult at some moments.

Just like the funny first part, World of Goo 2 is full of ingenious puzzles and even more creative solutions. The game sometimes reminds you very much of the first part, but you will only really notice that if you have played World of Goo recently.

UFC Undisputed 2010 kicks the original game on almost all accounts. The gameplay has been tweaked until it's almost perfect. It's too bad the new modes aren't as good as we'd have hoped and the lag is really irritating. But overall, this is as good as you can get with the fighting sport. A better product compared to the original in almost every way.

80 Days depends solely on its story, a travel log that described your personal journey in great detail. Even though its an interactive novel, there is greater consequence to your actions than in any TellTale-game. Every playthrough of 80 Days is different and completely personal, making this a unique experience.

Tales of Arise has a chaotic, but manageable and strategic combat system, a vibrant and beautifully crafted world for you to explore and characters you can see yourself in. The main thread of the story - an underdog bringing an end to tyranny - is a great set-up.

Pokémon Platinum is in fact one of many variants on the first few parts, with the marginal note that the game lacks any form of renewal. Nevertheless Pokémon Platinum still offers a very decent roleplaying game that makes good use of the online capabilities of the Nintendo DS. If your not familiar with any of the preliminary titles that this one will be a perfect opportunity to get accustomed to the series.

Just Cause 2 is the ultimate transition of the explosion-filled, stunt-heavy blockbuster action movie to the videogames medium. The spectacular grappling hook action takes place on the beautiful, humongous fictional island state of Pauna. The few flaws don’t hurt the overall experience at all.

A beautiful adventure that you can’t put down for the first thirty hours. The second half isn’t as gripping as the first, though. It’s interesting that the game sways away from the previous games in the series, but not everyone will be pleased with the linear gameplay.

No Going Back is a worthy ending to a strong season. In the final episode you’ll leave a few memorable characters behind. Since you’ve made a lot of choices along the way, that’ll be a lot of personal goodbye’s. The narrative is of high quality, the interactive part not so much. Luckily, The Walking Dead continues to impress, even without having to press any buttons.

This is a very well rounded basketball game, made by and for fans of the sport. The countless details and different facets of the sport are perfectly recreated in the game. The graphics are insanely realistic, but the frame rate suffers sometimes because of it. Still, this is the best basketball game of this season.

Deadly Creatures turned out to be a very good game, because of its originality, scary looks and outstanding gameplay. Getting into the life of a scorpion or a tarantula was a very interesting experience, that no Wii-gamer should miss out on. The few flaws and short duration prevent the game from getting a high rating, but won't stop us from wanting a second part.

Once you understand that Cyberpunk is "just" an open world RPG, you will see that the once mythical promise of next-gen gaming is nothing more and nothing less than a very enjoyable buffet of thrilling missions with highly competent game systems. Cyberpunk 2077 offers nothing we haven't seen before, except for the fantastic graphics. Keanu Reeves' character Johnny Silverhand takes the main story way above the middle ground, and the freedom to take on any mission to your liking is well worked out. Furthermore, Cyberpunk 2077 is "just" a very good RPG.

The nine hour long story of Black Ops 3 is so bizarre, it took us a while to get our heads around it. But the fact that a CoD-game surprised us in 2015 is very positive. The gameplay however, is still solid as a rock.

The sober exterior of Echoshift is no indication of the complexity of the challenges it harbours. As the game progresses the challenges get tougher, but thanks to a steady increasing learning curve no challenge will ever seem too overwhelming. Manipulating time has been done much prettier by others, but difficulty wise it can easily keep up with the best.

This remake makes us relive the old days in an excellent new look. There are a lot of new gadgets, guns and gameplay elements to keep the adventure fresh. It is a bit odd how the main characters do not really seem to have a lot of chemistry though.

Never Alone offers a good insight in the position of folklore within the Iñupiat community, that lives in parts of Alaska. As a puzzle platformer it made an impression by using blizzards and melting ice platforms as part of the gameplay. The AI and puzzles are a bit less impressive.

If you liked Origins and Odyssey, then you are rammed with Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Valhalla is cut from the same cloth, but knows how to balance main and side missions much better. The brutal combat system and a number of brand new side activities also give the game its own Viking aim. Unfortunately, Valhalla has some technical flaws, but that is (unfortunately) nothing new for seasoned Assassin’s Creed fans.

Killzone: Mercenary meets the expectations: finally there’s a great shooter on the Vita that technically impresses, controls like you’d expect from a shooter on a console and goes a long way with its multiplayer. The quality of the single-player campaign isn’t as constant though.

Civilization 7 gets a lot right. Deep systems like diplomacy, trade and dealing with resources certainly make this a 'greatest hits' compilation of earlier Civ-games. The new structure with playing in three Ages lifts the game above that though, and really gives it a unique identity. The only major gripe is that the designs and interface tend to get into each other's space. Despite this, the game will soon hold you in an iron grip. At this point it is a cliché, but even in Civilization 7 "one more turn" means that two hours later you're still playing. In that, this is certainly a successful new instalment.

Developer Black Box has made a great evolution on the successful concept of Skate by making Skate 2 a bit smoother and by giving San Vanelona a drastic make-over. The new features are more than welcome, even though they sometimes lack finesse on the technical level as well as the way you move your character throughout the game, preventing the game from getting a higher grade.

There's an astounding amount of things to do in Lego City Undercover. The story that can take player around ten hours to finish, is just the knob of the Lego-block. Afterwards there's much to build, wreck and collect. The biggest downside is that the city, that functions as a central hub to all of the content, is pretty boring.

Battalion Wars 2 is, just like its predecessor, a decent game which has good online functionality next to its single player mode. The controls are smooth and the developer has made its own graphic uniqueness. The largest disadvantage about the game is that everything could be a bit more challenging.

Jusant remains continuously fun thanks to varied climbing puzzles and an impressive game world. Based on that world, Just also tells a moving story with an emotional ending. This is one of those games that you probably want to skip at the tail end of an incredibly busy gaming year, but Gamer.nl recommends otherwise.

Crysis 3 doesn’t do much wrong as a shooter and is constantly entertaining thanks to the nanosuit and the addition of the bow. The multiplayer is also surprisingly fun. Other aspects aren’t as great though. Dialogues are simply terrible and the main campaign is quite short, especially for a game that’s at its best when played slowly. On consoles the game’s framerate also frequently drops significantly. None of these things are crucial enough to not recommend it though. Crysis 3 is just too much fun for that.
