It’s one of those rare examples of retro remakes that really capture the essence of the original and manage to modernize it. It’s not without its own share of issues, as it has some inconsistencies in the platform, puzzle, action mix, but nevertheless Shadow of the Beast is a worthy ode to one of the great legends of gaming.- GameOver.gr

Carpathian Night is a heartfelt homage to the original Castlevania games, offering a nostalgic 8-bit experience. While Bela Lugosi's inclusion feels more like a marketing gimmick than a meaningful addition, the game is well-crafted and sure to delight fans of retro platformers, particularly those who hold fond memories of Castlevania on the NES.- GameOver.gr

Dragon’s Dogma: Arisen is an exceptional port from consoles, which takes advantage of more powerful hardware to offer the most beautiful and complete version of the game. Fans of action-RPGs should definitely give it a try.- GameOver.gr

Diablo IV is one more entry in the franchise we love to hate and hate that we love. It’s a game where hours are passing by with breakneck speed. Fortunately it retains all the positive aspects that the series is known for, albeit we would have liked it if it showed a bit more creativity in the starting roster of classes.- GameOver.gr

Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn helps players remember the elements that let them enjoy the title back in 2010, and gives the opportunity to new players to experience the joy of playing in a woolen world. The game is a mix of traditional and modern gameplay innovations that have been encountered in the Kirby series all over the years, and manages to be fun, but ultimately fails in persuading players to spend hours on it. The final Kirby adventure on the 3DS is a reminder that, sometimes, it’s wiser to invest on a new idea, rather that trying to revive an idea on a dying system, no matter how innovative it is.- GameOver.gr

Rich in its content -albeit a bit overcomplicated in areas- immensely addictive, beautiful and impressive in its design, Anno 1800 probably is everything fans of the series have been expecting.- GameOver.gr

A passion project for its developers, this game has been originally dismissed by the players, but has managed to revive from its ashes due to constructive feedback from the community. Despite its drawbacks, regarding technical restrictions and the underperforming A.I, Daemon X Machina is a game suited to genre lovers and those who enjoy co-op action, and has all the requirements to develop even more.- GameOver.gr

Sorry We're Closed could be described as the Signalis of 2024, offering a standout indie survival horror experience. With a unique take on love stories and well-crafted visuals reminiscent of the first PlayStation era, it draws inspiration from games like Killer7, Silent Hill, and Shadows of the Damned. The result is a memorable, atmospheric game that stands out with its own distinctive personality.- GameOver.gr

PS4 and Xbox One owners finally have the chance to see one of the best arcade racing series focusing exclusively on time-attack. Veterans of the series may have a hard time spotting any differences, other than the new tracks layouts, but nevertheless 200 tracks will prove more than enough to keep you entertained for hours.- GameOver.gr

The Braking Point mode needs some work and the absence of F1 Legends let us down, but with superb visuals and great driving mechanics, F1 2021 is one of the best entries in the series so far.- GameOver.gr

Tropico 6 is a nice city-builder. It’s a polished game with a friendly interface, and it gives you more things to do than in previous Tropico games (for example, it has about 50% more buildings than the base version of Tropico 5). Tropico 6 currently has some annoying bugs that diminish its fun, but the bugs strike me as the type that can be fixed, rather than turning into “features” at a later date.- GameOver.gr

By having a great community, developers that are very eager to improve the game and some great gameplay elements, this squad based, survival-action/ shooter/ rpg game stands out from the rest.- GameOver.gr

Digimon Story: Time Stranger offers a great representation of the Digimon that longtime fans will surely appreciate. It’s a definite improvement over its predecessor, though some shortcomings remain, particularly its reliance on backtracking and boss fights that drag on due to excessively large health bars.- GameOver.gr

Wet Dreams Don’t Dry feels like a fan project. Deliciously full of tribute to the source material, hardcore gameplay layout and charming ideas for the connection of the past with the present, but also hindered by low budget technical implementation and slight inability to meet the creative writing standards of its original creator. It is an entertaining effort which washes away the shame behind disasters such as Box Office Bust and we hope it can be but the start for new adventures of Larry. Maybe next time under the watchful eye of Al Lowe.- GameOver.gr

Final Fantasy XV is like a road trip in which you will encounter beautiful challenges and will discover beautiful places, but in the end of the trip you may even forget the characters you've met. And that is not how a Final Fantasy should make you feel.- GameOver.gr

The rhythmic, cymbal-centric, jazz music is combined impeccably with the frenetic action of Ape Out. Taking a cue from the way the game categorizes its levels into vinyl disks we feel that we only received side A now and we still missing side B. Probably this shows how much we enjoyed the game (wanting more of it) but, nevertheless, it feels like it could benefit greatly from more content, at least in terms of levels.- GameOver.gr

Atomfall may suffer from poor AI, ineffective stealth mechanics, and derivative combat (despite satisfying weapon handling) but its charm is undeniable. Set in a uniquely British, beautifully crafted post-apocalyptic world, it delivers a succinct story filled with eccentric characters, gripping mysteries, and deep conspiracies alongside a quest system that avoids holding your hands. We can already see the words "cult classic" written on it.- GameOver.gr

Gears Tactics is a fine addition to the franchise and offers engaging turn-based combat. It brings a fresh air to the genre by making good use of its distinctive gameplay mechanics hailing from the “Gears of War” heritage. Although it may have great variety in terms of enemies, abilities and classes, it lacks -especially mid/late in the game- in mission structure, objectives and environmental diversity.- GameOver.gr

Frostpunk is a great "society survival" game that provides the feeling of imminent annihilation quite well, stepping on well-thought mechanics and excellent steampunk aesthetics. Our gameplay initiatives have a “grey tint” and place us in front morally significant decisions, while struggling to counter the hostile environment.- GameOver.gr

Huntdown is definitely aiming in "emulating" the scenery, brutality, and b-movie aesthetic of the 80s action movies, but from the lenses of an 16-bit, pixel art game that would fit in perfectly in the arcade cabinets of their golden age. Need we say more? Just enjoy its simplistic albeit utterly enjoyable action.- GameOver.gr

If nothing else, Replaced is a stunning pixel-art game set in a cyberpunk world. The developers clearly have a talent for crafting vibrant environments and detailed animations through the pixel-art style. Overall, it keeps you hooked with its exciting, if somewhat simplistic, combat and strong forward momentum. If only it didn’t rely so heavily on repetitive actions, like constant box pushing and unnecessary backtracking.- GameOver.gr

An interesting and engaging game, The Raven has the same strengths and weaknesses today as it had them in its original release back in 2013. It is a bit frustrating to see how “basic” this “remaster” is, since many of the original bugs, glitches and sloppy animation remain as before, but for gamers that have not seen this 1960s detective adventure, it is certainly a nice addition to their gaming library.- GameOver.gr

A Perfect Day presents a bittersweet story, ground to reality and in a position to create some truly heart-warming feelings. Unfortunately, many of the secondary characters are devoid of any personality while also some quality of life shortcomings, relating to the simplistic gameplay, drags the whole experience down a bit.- GameOver.gr

An interesting addition to the world of Yakuza games, Judgement offers an entertaining adventure with an intriguing (albeit slow to start) story and exceptionally written characters, this time from the side of the law rather than that of the criminals. If only we could seriously remake all those pesky tailing and investigating ultra simple mechanisms and bring back the voice acting for the side stories.- GameOver.gr

Eriksholm shouldn't be approached as a Commandos-style experience since it's primarily a puzzle game with stealth elements, not the other way around. In that respect, it delivers plenty of cleverly designed environmental challenges, appealing visuals, and an engaging setting. If only its story and characters were as well written as its impeccably crafted cutscenes, Eriksholm could have been something truly special.- GameOver.gr
