Banner of the Maid offers a different narrative of the French Revolution through the Visual Novel aspect and at the same time it provides a decent turn-based strategy game.

Α somewhat lukewarm remaster can’t hide the fact that Grim Fandango remains one of the best adventure games of all time.

While it deviates a little from the original concept of the franchise, Dead Space 3 still delivers a great sci-fi experience with some horror elements, a good story and some superb graphics. You won't be disappointed.

Borderlands 3 follows the same tried-and-true formula as it's predecessors, but with refinements. With new Vault Hunters, more planets to explore, new and old character appearances, high replay value and improved gameplay and gunplay Borderlands 3 is highly recommended for FPS fans despite some technical issues.

Spectacular character design and script create one of the most interesting side quests in the Witcher universe and make it easy to overcome some mistakes in its design.

Despite its design shortcomings (like the absence of a mapping system or the consumable-based criteria for online multiplayer), Salt & Sacrifice comes along as a great sequel. The “soulslike” character progression and combat blends in with the “metroidvania” level design, and the added Monster Hunter nuance presented in the Mage hunting keeps the game going, feeling both familiar and fresh at the same time.

If your wallet can handle the on-going need for new figures, play sets and power discs that this game desperately needs in order to fully deliver its goods, then by all means by this for your kid.

A fast paced football game, aiming solely for fun, that despite its simplicity has some very interesting and original cards under its sleeve. Placed and curved shots, cool super powers combined with the old school arcade gameplay create a blend of unadulterated and genuine entertainment.

The new Hyrule Warriors offers a great combat system and excellent visual design, alongside a large variety of missions. Fans of the first game will find plenty of content to reimmerse themselves in Hyrule, though they may be left a bit disappointed by the lackluster storyline.

It may be bold, but the “Sanitarium in Space” concept works. And it works quite well.

With a breathtaking atmosphere, an interesting story and a gritty realism applied to the late Medieval period, Asobo Studios offers a strong and memorable experience that overcomes its somewhat repetitive & by-the-numbers gameplay.

Anglerfish excels in its dark aesthetic and humour, delivering a challenging yet fair experience. While it may be a bit on the short side, the game offers a memorable and twisted roguelike adventure within those few hours.

A roguelike game with tower defense characteristics that is possible to keep you entertained and on the edge for many hours before you manage to succeed in all the 12 floors/dungeons. Consider the beautiful pixel art esthetic a significant bonus to the whole experience.

It's surely a testament of how Nintendo can take a simple concept and turn it into a robust experience. It may lack the challenge other Nintendo games have, but offers some truly relaxing moments in a wonderfully designed world...if you can handle the cuteness.

Older gamers will have a reason to revisit Luigi's Mansion 2, thanks to a greater variety of ghosts and added locations. Nevertheless, it could benefit from a higher level of challenge and less backtracking.

Although Sony made clear their plans to not go through with a sequel, at least Days Gone can stand on its own as a complete story. PC users will have the chance to see first-hand a decent open-world game, with emphasis on characters, on the beautiful forest areas of Oregon.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is not a new game. It’s not even a new re-release or a new remaster. It is, however, a fantastic addition to the Nintendo Switch library, one that can provide players with an experience that rivals even the most current RPGs. Old players and new are to be treated with a wonderful port and an even greater experience, despite minor problems due to the nature of the console and some others that should have been fixed years ago.

Returnal is a blast to play, with nice visuals, exceptional sound production and one of the best DualSense implementations to date. There is a significant degree of difficulty that might discourage a lot of players, but the gameplay is so addictive that it keeps you coming back for more.

Finally, a good pirate theme RPG, full of intrigue and joy in exploration while having a wonderful DnD inspired battle system. The lackluster and without focus main story disappoints and the bugged quests do shoot some cannonballs through the captain’s cabin, but the quality remains high and Pillars of Eternity Deadfire still is one of the best Western RPGs in years.

Those craving for a portable Naruto adventure will rejoice with the release of the Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy for the Nintendo Switch. Three games covering most of the events of the original Naruto and Naruto Shippuden series, are set to give players hours of fun, battling and exploration. An ideal choice for newcomers and those who want to play Naruto games on the go, which, unfortunately, is not recommended for those who have already experienced previous versions of these games to the fullest.

Despite one or two shortcomings (like too few boss battles) Ashen is probably the best AA third-person “soulslike”, and that is no small feat. The unique, minimalistic visuals depict a world with its own personality (even though it may be an acquired taste) and the inclusion of a map and its commitment to co-op, be it with another player or an NPC, shows that A44 may be inspired by the best of the genre but it doesn’t afraid to take its own steps.
