A well written noir adventure, with a nicely built choice driven gameplay and jazzpunk aesthetics.

Even though it’s a relatively unknown platform-puzzle game, it nevertheless is one of the best of its kind. The simultaneously handling of two characters is utilised in a very clever way. We can only hope that it sees the light of Xbox Games with Gold and be appreciated by the bigger audience it deserves.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is rightfully one of the best Pokémon adventures to pass down in history. Introducing a more fluid battle system, it sets new standards in the franchise, which will be hopefully established in future games.

The absence of a single player campaign and the overuse of assets from past games are serious cons in Black Ops 4, but Treyrach manages not just to balance them out but to overcome them by delivering a superb Battle Royale map, great multiplayer modes and an icing on the cake with the richest Zombies mode to date.

It's not the "behemoth" many were expecting, but that doesn't mean Watch Dogs is not delivering what Ubisoft had promised in almost every respect. If you like "open-world" games with a twist, this is for you. And if you have the option you should definitely go for the next-gen or PC versions.

After many years of cooking and boiling at Platinum’s cauldron, Bayonetta makes her return to Nintendo’s most recent console. And that’s probably not a great choice, as the visuals are struggling with Switch’s outdated hardware. Still, the magic and charm of the series are here, better than ever, while taking the players on a trip across time in the series’ multiverse and preparing them for an eventual end and a new future for Bayonetta…or not.

With satisfying shooting mechanics, a great co-op mode and probably the best sound design we've ever heard on a shooter, Future Soldier is a "must have" for fans of the genre.

A fun old-school platform game, full of fresh ideas and hilarious references, which if not suffering from a lack of resources, it would easily stand among its genre’s big heads.

Although the game remains virtually the same, the upgrade on the graphics and the fps deliver a better pace and, overall, a better game. If you are looking for a good JRPG, this edition of Star Ocean: The Last Hope is highly recommended.

It’s a new era, seeing a Sony game on Xbox, and a good one at that. Helldivers 2 delivers tense battles, rewarding progression, and a strong sense of community. Whether with friends or random players, it’s a consistently fun experience.

An excellent old school, challenging sci-fi Metroidvania that stays true to the genre but does nothing we've never seen before.

While a bit light in mission variety and dull in writing, it is impossible to ignore the sheer brilliance behind the wonderful space flight & fight gameplay it offers. Sure, in VR it is simply breathtaking, but even in its standard format it is a highly entertaining experience which somehow manages to be accessible to newcomers but engaging to experts at the same time.

It took them almost four years, but the guys at Skygoblin delivered a bigger and better episode in their unique episodic adventure game. If you love old-school adventure games The Journey Down 2 is made precisely for you.

Revenge of the Savage Planet is nothing if not humorous, delivering abundant fun through its charming, colorful visuals and clever gadgets. While it leans a bit too much on open-world-map-cleaning mentality, it’s hard not to feel like a kid in a sci-fi kindergarten while playing.

Even if you feel extremely tired from the oversaturation of card-based games you should give Inscryption a change. Its fresh take on the genre offers an especially clever satire of the card-based motif and an overall experience that in the end feels like a well-crafted story-based game disguised as a roguelike. Its full story comes to an end at around 8 hours, but not before it provides a wealth of unexpected twists and turns in both its gameplay and presentation.

After the two mediocre True Crime games, we had abandoned all hope for a good project by United Front Games. Sleeping Dogs proved us wrong. It's a great, open world game, with beautiful graphics, engaging gameplay and one of the most interesting stories this genre has to offer.

It seems that Infinity Ward lost a unique opportunity to introduce the CoD franchise to a whole new generation of hardware. Ghosts is by no means a flawed game, on the contrary, the multiplayer and extinction modes are great, but the feeling that we're doing the same thing all over again is quite strong.
