The transition of this beloved series to the PS4 gave us a fun and quite enjoyable game. Easy to pick up, but hard to master, suitable for almost every one and packed with content and modes, Everybody’s Golf is that pretty little game that you’ve probably been looking for, for when you need to relax.

It may look like a Monster Hunter clone, but Freedom Wars is much more than that. Whether you play alone, or you go online and hunt with friends, this dystopian action/ RPG will be the best thing that has happened to your PS Vita for a long time.

The Last Train Home delivers a unique RTS experience, even if not without some issues with its A.I. and UI. Thankfully, the well-made combination of strategy with survival aspects and the well-written story more than overcome these issues.

We expected more from the first step of this beloved franchise to the PS4. Nevertheless, LBP3 is a charming platformer, that offers the best level creator yet and millions of user generated stages to play.

Probably the best "mindless, arcade shooter" collection we've ever tried. Sam is definitely the "Duke" of the 00's.

Warlords of Draenor is a step back to the time when WoW was more hardcore-oriented. And we love this path that Blizzard has taken.

A somewhat simple story and action gameplay are wrapped around an incredibly beautiful wrapper and are brought to life through an inspiringly gorgeous painting game, where your art literally becomes alive and brings light and color to the in-game world.

A rather typical, albeit interesting and quite "warm" adventure game that will offer you about 10 hours of charming, old fashioned point and click gameplay.

A game that is a definite improvement over its predecessor, welcomes the addition of a Story Mode after a 13-year hiatus and offers an addictive and hardcore gameplay that is hard to miss. Despite its problems, Mario Tennis Aces should be tried by tennis and Mario lovers alike.

For those who seek a well crafted, hardcore dungeon crawler, Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk is a decent choice since it offers all the familiar and best features (rich content, high challenge etc.) of the genre.

Sandberg should be proud for delivering such a complete metroidvania game on his own. It may be a bit rough around the edges, but this doesn’t stop it from having competent platforming mechanics but, more importantly, an engrossing story with characters oozing with personality, something of a rarity for the genre.

The remastered version of Epic MIckey: Rebrushed offers a welcome return to a well-crafted and charming platformer, updated with a much improved camera. While the forgettable boss fights and 2D levels remain, they ultimately don't detract from the overall fun experience.

Curse of the Dead Gods shines on top of the myriads of roguelikes (the recent indie fad) thanks to its focus on its combat system and the vast number of weapons and synergies between them. It may not bring an evolution to the genre as Hades did, but nevertheless its developer has a great understanding of the intricacies of roguelikes.

Fatal Frame II returns with significant updates, enhancing its already excellent horror atmosphere through modernised visuals and effects. The addition of a stalker mechanic may be somewhat questionable, however, the new gameplay and story content are more than welcome for those who played the original. A 60fps mode on consoles would have been appreciated, though the 30fps performance isn’t a major hindrance to enjoying its well-crafted horror experience.

As an origin story, the game dares to walk an unexplored action-adventure path, a first for the series, offering an overall gameplay experience that is different, but equally mesmerizing. Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is a fairy tale through and through, with some of the most stunning visuals ever encountered in the genre. The lack of a co-op implementation deprives the game of a potentially excellent status, but somehow it manages to offer a magical experience, leaving us dreaming of what could come next.

Sudden Strike 4 is a thrilling Real Time Tactics game, which gives a realistic insight in some WW 2 decisive battles. There is a unique balance among the various units of the Ally, Soviet and Nazi army, which allows for many and different tactical approaches, but is held back by terrible pathfinding, airy skirmish and multiplayer and static, unresponsive AI, to be deemed as classic in the genre.
