It truly is, in my opinion, the best and longest Zelda ever made. With nearly 70 hours of playtime committed and more still to do, I cant think of a better experience or value this holiday season.

From the amazing experience that is the single player to the well balanced and extremely fun multiplayer to the visuals and beyond Gears is the best game of the year hands down.

Next generation graphics, huge improvements on all fronts from its predecessors, a 40 hour main storyline, and 100s of hours of side quests make this an RPG gamer’s dream come true.

The game is a must-have even for those that have saturated themselves with Snake Eater. If you're not going to purchase the game for the new camera, then please purchase it for the inclusion of the original Metal Gears.

The graphics of GoW II are just as beautiful as ever with some of the best art direction in a game to date.

While its slower adventure game style pacing and low difficulty may throw off a certain crowd, Okami’s charming world with its nice fairy tale story, great gameplay, and incredible graphics will give most an experience likely to be remembered for decades. It’s a flawed great game. The battle system is fast and fun, yet it’s a bit simple and repetitive. The license board provides non-linear character growth, yet there aren’t that many ways to raise the characters. With a better song list, high quality audio for the most part, expanded and improved modes, and all the fun of the original, Guitar Hero 2 is one of this busy holiday season’s best games.

Final Fantasy VI Advance may not offer as much as previous re-releases of FF titles in terms of extras but, it's still a classic to play through. [JPN Import]

For those who crave the notoriety of the modern day rocker, but lack the true skills required, this is the closest you’re ever going to come. A game that comes highly recommended. Rock-on.

New 25 man limit dungeons in the end game open up things to most everyone but require a ridiculously expensive flying mount to get to them so there will still be some silly gold grinding when you get to 70.

Undoubtedly the best game in the Mario Kart series, which considering the MK legacy is quite an achievement.

Oh and if you were wondering about the sound, well it’s amazingly just as polished as the graphics.

The game has great gameplay, good graphics, nice controls using the DSs touch-screen, it has great new units, and it's just plain fun.

If you like FPS games on consoles, great immersion, true nextgen graphics, variety in single player, fun smooth multiplayer, and everything else good listed above then you’re going to want to at least rent this 15 hour classic.

It features great old-school RPG gaming, a cool graphic style, nice sceneries are times and it’s just plain fun to play.

Unlike certain other X360 games that feel short and rushed for the launch window, Burnout Revenge has gameplay and replay value packed in spades.

While it lasts, it’s some of the best platforming to date and features what I consider to be the best Nintendo DS graphics to date. While it’s a shame the new power-ups are frills and the length of the main game is ridiculously short, it’s hard not to recommend it.

Whether you want to play for 18 hours or 15 minutes, the game is designed to accommodate to the hardcore and the moderate gamer.

Has everything an action game fan would like: Incredible relentless gameplay, great graphics, and this time a bunch of new features including playing as the powerful Vergil.

With a huge multiplayer online component and a well constructed single player game Syphon Filter is a must play PSP game. I’m hesitant to say must buy due to the control problems, the sound technical issues, and the retarded AI but other than those issues it’s a solid outing for 989 Studios.

Isn’t it about time we stop judging graphics solely on realism and clarity and take a look at the visual continuity and overall artistic craftsmanship? Extremely skilled artists worked day and night for years to create this world and they definitely succeeded in every way.

It has an excellent battle system, more variety than almost any game out there, great graphics, and an interesting story. The title isn't perfect though. The story lacks a bit of cohesiveness and the auto-camera still can't seem to track everything that's going on. [JPN Import]

A game that features great innovative gameplay, still retaining that great Kirby feel to it.

The lack of Infrastructure mode was a bummer, but the great single-player mode more than made up for the lackings.

When you kill an enemy it doesn't disappear and when you blow up part of the near fully destructible environments the pieces don't go away either. The obvious power of the PS3 and the masterful coding work of the developers let everything stay on screen all the time while never taking a frame hit. The only feature of the DS used is the double screens, and it's used pretty well too. I wouldn't want it any different.

This is Soul Calibur at its best. Any fan of Soul Calibur is going to love this game, I am assured of that.

Possibly one of the greatest titles ever released on the Nintendo DS system.

While Geometry Wars is simple in nature, it’s definitely a well thought out and executed puzzle shooter that fans of Asteroids and other 80s classics will enjoy.

While the lack of modes and a some weak AI (Career Mode tends to be fairly easy) keeps Fight Night Round 3 from being a system seller, multiplayer is a blast and with millions of opponents online waiting to fight in the ring, the replay value of FNR3 is pretty high.

What made me love this game is the battle system.

Another GTA added on to and upgraded. If you like GTA then you will like this game. If you’re tired of the series then maybe you should sit this one out.

What’s amazing about the multiplayer portion is the co-op. Not only is it completely unique content, but it mixes the greatness of the single player with the amazing new online competitive mode.

Daxter is the most technically impressive game on the PSP and delivers and extremely fun platforming experience that could be the best in Naughty Dog’s history.

One of the major new additions to the series that really sets Double Agent apart from the rest is the branching storyline. Not only is the story eons better than the past games in both presentation and writing, but you actually get to change the course of what happens for better or worse.

In the end the single player blows, online is fun, and the replayability is lessened by the lack of complexity. It’s a very uninvolved RTS.

The biggest unique feature to the online component of DOA 4 is definitely the psychedelic crack land known as the lobby...The lobby is so strange and so far removed from what DOA is visually that you really feel like the developers went a bit mad at some point and threw this in for a laugh and a half.

The game has a great story, one of my favorite stories in a game, offers fun RPG gameplay, so it's a great game for just about every RPG fan, or at least people who loved this game before.

So the real fun of the game is when you’re playing as Mario and you tap A to switch dimensions. Dead ends suddenly become open roads as you swap between a flat wall and a paper thin backdrop. This really shows off the great 2D art and kills the 3D presentation. [JPN Import]

The short animated letter boxed movies spread out throughout the story are smooth and look crisp for the DS but, performances were varied for the two actors who were taking on voice acting for the very first time.

A unique, inventive, and fun game that youll most likely want to play and own due to its huge amount of replayability from random slash-a-thons to side quests and item discovery; you can spend a whole lot of time in this game. Then again if the save system and RPG leveling system turn you off you might be better off renting it first.

A decent FPS single player game with an excellent online component.

Addictive battle system.

Virtua Fighter 5 is downright incredible. Its a near perfect port from the Arcades and features some of the most engrossing gameplay and visuals ever to grace a home console. [JPN Import]

Motorstorm is pretty much the best off-road driving simulation ever to grace a console. The physics are so accurate, yet altered for arcade like effect, and feel so right that the development team must have had at least a couple Physics PhD’s on staff to pull off such a feat. [JPN Import]

A few things may shock people as being non-tetris, but these days nothing can be non-tetris as Tetris lives in all of us.

At a length of about thirty hours, the game may be considered short by epic RPG standards, but it also makes the game that much more replayable. [JPN Import]

Despite the lackluster gameplay, Loco Roco does have one thing going for it: charm. The flash-looking graphics are extremely impressive in art design and from a technological standpoint as the visuals just look incredible on the PSP screen. [JPN Import]

At the end of the day Bleach should have been the best fighting game to ever grace a portable, but there's just one major sticking point keeping it away from that goal: the d-pad. [JPN Import]

With the fairly large number of puzzles that come with Picross DS, the game will keep you occupied for quite some time. But with the addition of Wi-Fi features, you could find yourself picking up the game very often even after completing all puzzles.

It’s a great collection and with single player objectives and online capabilities it’s one to own.

The game is fun, but it has some tedious parts such as the helicopter stage or the parts where you are on top of the small ship. So if you want some good boss and mini-boss fights then this game is for you.

A game that's solid in its foundation, provides a standard rpg tale, and last quite a good length. Yet at the same time it lacks anything to make it distinct, exciting, and something that players should care about. While it is no doubt a technical masterpiece, in the current rpg state of the PS2, where quality rpgs exist in mass, it's tough to recommend Rogue Galaxy. [JPN Import]

No other game comes close to Nintendogs in its field. Just don’t go in expecting the be all and end all that the mass media attention would have you to believe and you should enjoy this game for what it is.

A really well presented game with entertaining scenarios despite being a port from over a decade ago. RPG players and anyone else who has to yet to play these classics should have a fun time watching the story being played out. Like Cereal, Fireteam Bravo can be had at any course of the day no matter the event. Though the graphical glitches may leave the player dissatisfied with the quality, there is nothing wrong and you have to understand that it was made that way for a longer gameplay experience to benefit from.

It’s a well constructed game that lacks in the gameplay department. The atmosphere and story presentation alone garner a rental but the length and fighting make it nothing more than a rental.

Tony Hawk 8 is an incredible upgrade for the series but at the same time it lacks in some areas. Create-A-Park is gone, Create-A-Skate has been downplayed a lot, some things are a bit too easy, and finally the whole world feels a bit stale.

NIS once again delivers a masterpiece. Requiring a lot of strategy because of the remove stat, it is much harder than Disgaea and La Pucelle.

I also stress that people looking to buy this title do so as soon as possible because it will soon be almost impossible to find since Atlus has stopped its production of this great title.

The difficulty is low due to the puzzles being about as tough as a play through the board game clue and the replayability is nonexistent. It's a great unique rental for sure but not one I would rush out to buy.

The game provides the perfect amount of depth mixed with some of the best visuals seen on a console and tops them off a whole lot of fun. At budget price, Table Tennis is a game that should be in every X360 owner’s library.

Revenant Wings offers some fresh gameplay for the mammoth RPG series and while the dominant RTS element may not be for everyone, it’s certainly been simplified a lot to offer a good 30 entertaining hours or so.

While these days many RPGs are attempting to change the old-school formula and divorce themselves from traditional RPG lineage, XS EP3 stays true to the formula but through fantastic dungeons, two great and very different battle systems, and a fast-paced 30 hour adventure that’s lacking in filler (so you basically get the same story that’d be in a 60-70 hour normal RPG with random filler plots), it creates a game that’s every bit as fresh as the best non-traditional RPGs. If they had released this one for the original XBOX it might have been much more acceptable but as it’s a launch title for the 360 I can’t help but feel it’s not worth your money.

The whole presentation of the game reeks of "acid trip" and I guess this was the intention of the producer. But still the original intention of a suitable tactical game is present and is a pleasure to spend my hours playing.

I would have liked it if there were customizable controls, but it isn't a big deal. But it's apparent that my dreams may never come true.

Black is much like Criterion’s first "Burnout" game. The groundwork is there but the content is really lacking.
