This last episode of The Walking Dead is certainly not perfect but it brings a conclusion - which was not sure a few months ago - to the series. And it still can be liked by those who truly love the characters, even if it has only a few surprises in store. Nevertheless, this opportunity to say goodbye to Clementine - in extension to the whole Telltale Games formula - is truly appreciable. We'll miss her for sure.- Gameblog.fr

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games offers a fun gaming experience to young gamers. Aside from a few mini-games that can be quite painful, the game makes smart use of the 3DS' capabilities. That being said, the game will probably be too simplistic for hardcore sports fans.- Gameblog.fr

This first DLC for BioShock Infinite keeps its promises: the return to Rapture is absolutely great for the fans... Too bad it takes less than two hours to finish... At $15, it's quite expensive, especially as you will soon want to pay again for the second episode. You should opt now for the Season Pass.- Gameblog.fr

Ruiner offers a particularly demanding gameplay, with very cool gun fights that will surely satisfy hardcore twin stick shooter fans. Unfortunately, the visuals are very repetitive, and the story is nearly as much absent as the multiplayer mode.- Gameblog.fr

Shadow of Mordor is really cool to play and introduce an interesting Nemesis System mechanic, but at some point it becomes a little bit too repetitive.- Gameblog.fr

The Swords of Ditto delivers an accessible rogue-like experience served by beautiful artistic direction, and a soft difficulty curve quite rare for the genre. Thanks to a shared experience system, death is no longer tragic, but fans of rogue-likes will certainly find the adventure quite simple, mostly because of a basic combat system and too many random dungeons.- Gameblog.fr

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Nintendo Switch is a totally serviceable port of the original game released on PS4/Xbox One/PC. Even if the game's visuals take a hit on Nintendo's console, the fact that you can now take Xenoverse 2 everywhere with you is a big plus. If you have the Switch, like Dragon Ball Z and missed Xenoverse 2's original release, you could do a lot worse than to give the game a shot.- Gameblog.fr

I Hate Running Backwards is a correct proposition that stays true to the sources of video games: everything is based on gameplay with simple but proven principles. The result is a game without pretension, but that will occupy you for hours with friends or solo. Too bad it has not been polished a little more with other game modes, including classic online modes (in co-op for instance).- Gameblog.fr

This first Mega Man X compilation might seem a little short on content, but the pleasure to play through Mega Max X1 to 4 might be enough for most gamers of the 90's. With a wide museum gallery and some interesting bonuses, this collection just fail to deliver new strong modes, even though the newcomers will be more than pleased by the Rookie one.- Gameblog.fr

Shantae looks lovelier than ever in high definition, swaying hips more voluptuously to boot. However the wonderful belly dancer lost some charm through her cartoonish traits, despite a wider array of powers. Inspired by the trends, particularly crowdfunding, Half-Genie Hero openly embraces an episodic structure, confining exploration meanwhile. A more straight(way)forward approach, but this episode falls a little short in comparison to the scale of the previous trilogy, unless upcoming DLCs prove otherwise.- Gameblog.fr

Monster Energy Supercross 2 is a good sequel. It greatly enhances the career mode and gives it a lot more dynamism. Driving sensations are also on a good path with better feelings and good technicality, despite an arcade side revealed by some collisions issues. Pretty, fun, and easy to access despite greater depth, Milestone's production has been able to capitalize positively on bases that had good potential. It still has to tweak his multiplayer mode to keep the distance. See you in 2020 for a must-have?- Gameblog.fr

Eighteen years after its original release on PlayStation, Final Fantasy IX is back on Switch, but with all the flaws inherited from the PC/PS4 port of 2017. But in the end, its compressed soundtrack and smartphone interface will not make us forget the greatness of such an adventure, which could have benefit from a sweeter launch price.- Gameblog.fr

Urban Myth Dissolution Center is one of the nice surprises of 2025. With its tremendous pixel art direction, Hakababunko's new game draws the eye just by looking at it. But this point'n'click / visual novel, reminiscent of Ace Attorney in an occult universe, shines with its writing, humour and modern themes. There are definite shortcomings, such as the pace of the adventure and the repeatability of the missions, but it's clearly a good experience overall.- Gameblog.fr

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is an excellent game but clearly not without flaws, even if the numerous innovations make it the best episode regarding infiltration. However, Naoe carries the game on her own, when Yasuke only has a central place in the story and not the gameplay. It's a game where freedom is at its peaks and it’s sometimes at its own disadvantage. The rhythm is irregular, the writing is often weakened by the poor animations during the cinematics. It’s a shame, because the game has an absolutely bluffing open world and an amazing and never seen before dynamic weather system that needs to become a standard now. Assassin’s Creed Shadows may not be the most sensational one, but it is, nevertheless, one the very good episodes of the franchise and sets its future brighter.- Gameblog.fr

Without being up to Phasmophobia, Remnant Records remains a good horror game in the sauce of the paranormal investigator. If you really want to be scared, we advise you to try to play solo. All the beauty of the oppressive atmosphere stands out when you are alone within the walls of these haunted places. In multiplayer, we tend to be more casual, especially since it makes minds quite easy to see coming. But the real problem is that in general, we quickly go around the proposed experience.- Gameblog.fr

The Handsome Jackpot takes place in a whole new location: a Handsome Jack-owned casino gone wrong that Moxxi wants back. For an average price, the adventure offers many new features and an entertaining story -albeit disturbed by some boring quests. It's designed for long-time fans and creative weapons lovers, but not for those who seek for an innovative extension.- Gameblog.fr

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess won't be the game of the year, but it's still a pleasant surprise from Capcom. If we ignore the repetitiveness, which is still difficult to forget, we have an interesting first proposition. A more original experience than usual with combat with a particular feeling, and a whole strategic section that is quite complete but not stifling for newbies. It can also be a good entry point, even if you hate tower defense. The universe with Japanese folklore works, as does the artistic direction, which counterbalances the truly disappointing technique.- Gameblog.fr

Sniper Elite 5 brings a few improvements to an IP that works well. But after waiting for over 5 years, we would have hoped to see a bit more new stuff, and to be able to enjoy up-to date visuals and animations. Still, if you like the series, this journey through France will be quite enjoyable.- Gameblog.fr

BattleTech has a lot of qualities. It offers a rich and deep universe and some quite interesting game mechanics. Refreshing in the tactical genre, it's also a real pleasure for micromanagements' enthusiasts. Sadly, visuals are not on par. It's not exactly what we'd call a pleasure for the eyes.- Gameblog.fr
