In short, a good Sonic which could have been absolutely stunning if it had allowed itself to modernize while retaining this recipe which still hits the mark, even after all these years.

The Night of the Rabbit looks like a kid oriented game, but the puzzles point it towards the hardcore audience. One may clear them with a little research, but it's clear Daedalic didn't really master its difficulty curve. But in terms of production values and story, it's really good.

A very simple yet addictive game, where you control the sun to create water by shooting through clouds, in order to water flowers you need to grow. A typical companion to play short bursts on the go, with an added value through the hundreds of flower species to collect, game after game.

Maskmaker is the new virtual reality game from French studio Innerspace after the very successful A Fisherman's Tale. It tells the story of an apprentice creator of magic masks and his master, while the player infiltrates their secret workshop. Maskmaker is above all an artistic work of quality, both visually and in terms of the soundtrack, with full dubbing in French. However, we regret that the puzzles are not more complex, everything is rather too easy and agreed, even when it comes to making the keepers interact with each other to progress.

The Crew 2 did a good job on improving the original game. It's a little bit more of everything, and the new road/sea/air feature offers a lot of fun and variety. Some new race categories are much better than others however (the bike races are particularly bad), and the driving controls are still basic compared to what we can expect from a 2018 racing game.

Once again, it's in small touches by small touches that PES makes progress, enhancing some things (a more fluid gamaeplay, more identifiable signature moves from great players), and losing others in the process (the impractical training mode, faces that are less well-modeled than before). Another episode of transition before the the complete overhaul that may induce the use of a new engine for PES 2014, PES 2013 is a good soccer game and a nice enough PES, but one that, this year again, can't measure up to the competition, namely FIFA 13.

By keeping its basics and adding smart ideas like specific worm classes or water physics, this Worms Revolution works well. Too bad the online gameplay modes aren't really creative, and the solo AI too tough for many players.

The Bradwell Conspiracy is a good adventure game with a passionate universe, and original gameplay principles, but theses principles are underexploited and the game is too easy.

Eight years after the original Wii version, this Extra Epic Yarn comes back on the old 3DS console, with a new diabolical mode which brings à tiny bit of challenge to an overall very easy game. Its two new mini-games might be now enough to bring back the players of 2010, especially with a lower frame rate and no 3D effects at all. Still, Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn is a good platformer and might satisfy 3DS owners.

Piczle Cross Adventure is a nice mix between adventure and puzzles, filled with a funny story and many secrets to uncover. But even with its 300+ Picross, the settings still lack of most traditional and obvious options. Still, fans of the genre should definitely have a look.

At first, Timespinner feels like a splendid new contender in the Metroidvania genre. It has some strong visuals and music, combat feels good, it offers maps we definitely want to explore and its story and characters are great. But this game feels a bit too easy, should have pushed the time manipulation idea and lacks epic feel in its boss fights, among other things.

Jurassic World Evolution: Secrets of Dr Wu is a DLC full of good ideas. Playing with genetic is really fun and allows to create such unnatural dinosaurs behaviors, which is a nice nod to the two Jurassic World movies. However, this DLC lacks some more content to be a must have.

The elaboration of exercises intended to improve brain capacities is not an easy task, but it gets even more difficult to make these fun as well with a focus on the (hard)working memory, because of the multiple distractions from our hyperconnected world. Thanks to a playful tone, an adaptive challenge and a wide selection of cleverly designed activities, Brain Age : Concentration Training successfully keeps the experience interesting, but also gratifying. Despite some persistent handwriting recognition issues and the rather large amount of recycled games, this devilish episode shall amuse our minds, an indubitable benefit, intellectual empowerment debates notwithstanding.

A true pleasure to return to Titan Quest 11 years later. A good surprise from THQ Nordic in 2017. This game is a true nostalgic breath of fresh air for many PC players. Is it a sign for a come back of the license, perhaps with a Titan Quest 2? In all cases, this DLC is a great job with very interesting new specialisation and a fascinating lore.

All the ingredients are there to make Shenmue III a great Shenmue game : riveting story, copious side content, beautiful backgrounds and great characters. But it's also a bit dragged down by its dated production values. Gamers who loved the first two Shenmue games and who can overlook technical shortcomings will have a great time. Bring on Shenmue IV!

A nice surprise. If you never played PC version, you can begin on PS4 now. The PS4 version is very beautiful, but the most important problem is that there is not enough game mode. We have a good free-to-play here.

With Life is Strange Before the Storm - Episode 3 : Hell is Empty, Deck Nine brings a satisfying conclusion to this prequel. Even if we could have expected some more significant consequences to the choices we wake, it's still a touching story for two really adorable characters in a lovely world. A godd way to wait for what's next.

IL-2 Stormovik Cliffs of Dover Blitz Edition is good evolution of a must-have simulation taking place during World War 2. It can't be recommended to those who wants to play it casually and it feels not as good as DCS mods. But it's cheaper, so if you are the target, you can go for it.
