HAL Laboratory didn't manage to remodel platforming with this magnificent, yet superficial facelift made of clay. But Rainbow Curse succeeds in combining the tactile approach of the brush and Kirby's traditional gameplay design through the cooperative multiplayer, thus adding a new tone to the already colorful palette of the series.

No Man's Sky is an atypical game that offers an experience outside the norm. For one of the very first times (except Minecraft) we really have the feeling of macrocosmos. In this infinite universe, thousands of other players travel into cosmos like you but have no chance to meet you. The gameplay is repetitive but not uninteresting. It's a good game but we hope Hello Games will add content in the future.

WWE 2K25 is without any difficulty a the must-have for wrestling game lovers. Everything is there with plenty of contents and with decent attempts of innovation in the player's experience. However, 2K seriously needs to look at the form and the technical engine that always does wonders, but sometimes is a lackluster on important elements on the ring.

Yes, Your Grace isn't just your typical kingdom management simulation. The first game of the studio Brave At Night is a very story-driven experience with inspired pixel-art visuals. Alas, it turns pretty bland when it comes to convey the epic nature of the battlefield.

The King of Fighters XIV is a good fighting game but its complex gameplay may not be enjoyable for novice players. Its graphics are generally not very good, and it shows some irregularities. Despite all these points, the game has a lot of solo content, and a good online mode.

Marvel's Spider-Man offers adrenaline rushes but also some free falls. If the incarnation of the Spider is breathtaking in this great playground that is New York, it is legitimate to hope a plot and more inspired missions while the formula is copied and pasted from recent Batman games. Spider-Man PS4 is solid and generous, but it lacks daring and originality.

Technically one of the most successful AR games we have ever seen. It works perfectly, and seeing this book coming to life on the TV screen is a delight even for our adult eyes ... But of course it is dedicated to children (6 to 10 years)! They will be even more delighted when they take the magic wand in their hands and try to learn the most famous Harry Potter spells (the "adventure" is set in the same universe, thanks to a collaboration with JK Rowling). Too bad the game is so short, so repetitive and leaves us a little hungry once completed. When all the spells are learned we would like to put them into practice in an real adventure or a series of mini games, but no. A very good start for the Wonderbook anyway, full of promise. We are looking forward to get the next games using it.

The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD is a constant fight between good and evil : if the game now makes the most of the 60 fps/HD display and a mostly muted Fi, the classic controls are not easily transposables to a simple controller, and most of the already-outdated game design flaws of the 2011 game are still there.

Fracked is an exclusive PlayStation VR game that gets the job done. Equipped with an almost non-stop "action" gameplay alternating phases on foot, skiing and climbing with a concept of taking cover using motion gaming, it is very easily placed in the list of the most popular VR games. more fun to play yet. However, we regret that the adventure ends fairly quickly (3 hours maximum), with an obvious lack of variety in terms of enemies and environments. The cel shading, associated with nice effects of light and particles, make Fracked a very beautiful game in virtual reality that does not have to be ashamed of what is done on competing platforms, especially since it is fully optimized for PS5 with maximized resolution.

Shadow Warrior 3 in a very nice fast FPS game that offers loads of entertainment and fun thanks to Lo Wang's sense of humor. But it's also sold at quite a steep price for what is essentially a 6 hours linear experience with no replay value.

Total War: Three Kingdoms is not the best episode of the saga but the treatment of the historical period of the Three Kingdoms is extremely well handled by The Creative Assembly team. It is unfortunate that the technical part (the graphics engine) is pouring out the content. It's time to change it.

Certainly, this console version is technically behind the PC. But that does not detract from the qualities of the simulation. Despite a slightly disappointing framerate, we still manage to identify the limits and behavior of each vehicle. It is also all the salt of Assetto Corsa Competizione ; Drive safely and consistently while harnessing the strengths and weaknesses of the car. We swap pure performance for driving intelligence and that's for the better.

Randomness issues excepted, Star Rush brilliantly charged at the main flaw of Mario Party - the slow pace - thanks to a simultaneous turn, while adding some strategy along the way through the boards' architecture, allies and clever amiibo integration.

The Surge is a good action-RPG and a real Dark Souls-like, so the game is clearly not open for everyone. It offers interesting systems, but we still regret a lack of diversity in everything (weapons, enemies, environments...).

The Elder Scrolls Online is probably the weirdest MMO I've played in ages. It is constantly torn between its solo RPG origin and the need to provide the usual MMO package "a la WoW". In the end though, it is highly enjoyable to play, and nobody will be bored in embarking on this adventure.

Toki is a visually successful remaster of a game dear to a lot of quite old gamers. It hasn't changed a lot, which can be good for arcade enthusiasts but frustrating for those who are not receptive to the proposition, and offers nothing more but it's fine.

Absolver is charming beat them all with some good Dark Souls elements, with a big PvE section. Its combat mechanics, where you can customize your own combos sets, is great but the whole system is a little bit rigid, so the multiplayer fights might not feel very pleasant to everyone.

Company of Heroes 2 doesn't really reinvent its own formula; but it clearly enriches it with several new layers of micro-management. It's a hell of a rich RTS game, but one that doesn't really take care of newcomers; if you were a fan of the original, you'll probably love this sequel, if you're new to the series, well, brace yourself, you'll have to learn the hard way.

If it wasn't playable in VR, Farpoint would be an average and quite basic first person shooter... but it is in VR, and once you put the PSVR on your head and the Aim Controller in your hands, it really makes a difference. We can feel that there is so much better things to come for VR shooters in the future, but for now, even with its flaws, Farpoint is unmissable if you already own a PSVR.
