Thanks to its gorgeous visuals and deeper narrative, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart arises the series to a new level. With many locations to enjoy, a lot of weapons to try out and many, many collectibles to find, everyone should find a good reason to embark on this bidimensional journey, even though the obvious collision bugs are still way too present.- Gameblog.fr

Rayman Origins for the PS Vita lightly uses touch controls, but eventually all this is not so important, as the game is so much enhanced by the OLED screen of the console. Rayman Origins Vita is identical to the sublime adventure experienced on home consoles, except that it doesn't feature any multiplayer mode, nor local or online. That's the real problem... but the game remains one of the biggest titles of recent years.- Gameblog.fr

Despite its age, FF Tactics remains timeless. This masterpiece has stood the test of time, and now returns in one of its best versions yet. Although it lacks the content from the PSP version, The War of the Lions, this remaster introduces enough new features to appeal to those who missed out on what is widely regarded as one of the best Final Fantasy games to date. Both the English and Japanese voice-overs add depth to one of the most memorable stories in video gaming. While it is regrettable that, after 30 years, we have to settle for a remaster with so little work done on the visuals, it is also this old-school feel that gives the game its charm. Final Fantasy Tactics The Ivalice Chronicles honours the legend.- Gameblog.fr

Torchlight II is very similar to Torchlight (who would have guessed ?) although better in almost every way. The game balancing is incredibly good (even though it's a little too easy in the beginning), and the character progression system ought to be taught in game design schools. Overall, it remains simple and pure hack'n slash, but isn't that what the fans were expecting?- Gameblog.fr

Bigger and stronger than the first episode, Dishonored 2 shines in action, stealth and exploration. It gives the players the right tools to face its challenges and a lot of reasons to come back even after the first run, starting with its unique universe and memorable art style.- Gameblog.fr

Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition offers a sublime RPG experience to our consoles. The universe is even more immersive thanks to the many new, clearer interface and intelligent gameplay mechanics. The combat system is also very ingenious. A must have if you like the genre.- Gameblog.fr

Horizon Forbidden West vastly improves the formula that Guerruilla created a few years ago. The open world is vivid and very immersive, helped by gorgeous visuals. The rock climbing system could be a little more open and give us a bit more freedom though.- Gameblog.fr

As a whole, these Fates not only form the most massive Fire Emblem, but they also mark the series' most ambitious move, regarding the spectacular gameplay evolution and the subtle, complex narrative. Each version reveals a distinct approach through strategy or tone, hence such bold choices create a more immersive and dramatic experience. If Intelligent Systems had decided otherwise, Fire Emblem Fates could have become a game of clones. Fortunately, it stands as the ruler of the tactical role playing game of thrones instead.- Gameblog.fr

On Switch or not, Fez is an incredible experience, strong and deep like very few games are. Whether you already played it somewhere else or not, Phil Fish's game is a must-have and has not aged a bit, even after 10 years.- Gameblog.fr

Congrats Treyarch, you passed the test. Black Ops still has some technical flaws (some erratic scripts), but it doesn't lack ambition, variety, nor freshness. Its solo campaign boasts a good scenario, and its multiplayer is as comprehensive and solid as ever, while changing some basic systems for the better and introducing soon-to-be-cult new modes, as well as community features one could only find in the latest Halo iterations before. There may be ways to improve it yet again, but the 2010 CoD delivers on its promise - we can't say anymore that Treyarch's Call of Dutys don't measure up.- Gameblog.fr

This Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales PC is hands down the best version of the game yet. It's hard to do better in terms of graphic quality and that's without counting the addition of ray tracing which sublimates the whole thing to make it unbeatable. So much so that the PS5 version almost pales in comparison. With the addition of Nvidia DLSS into the equation, the title even has the luxury of being fairly fluid on most configurations that have an Nvidia RTX graphics card.- Gameblog.fr

Porting such a colossal game as The Witcher 2 on the 360 was no easy task. CD Projekt rose to the challenge nonetheless and succeeded. Even though it's less detailed and delicate than on the PC, the 360 port remains visually stunning. The game itself is as good as ever, better even, with its buffed up third act and revised endings. Unmissable for any RPG fan.- Gameblog.fr

With Metroid Dread, Mercury Steam brings the series back to its roots by delivering a strong, dense and cleverly designed 2D episode. Thanks to its tough but balanced curve, Samus keeps getting stronger and more able to decipher many puzzles and fight interesting bosses, only to appear vulnerable when escaping the new EMMI robots. The adventure sure is classic, but all the elements here are pushed to their limits, for the better. What a ride.- Gameblog.fr

With this third episode, Telltale keeps demonstrating an astounding mastery. The gameplay gets more varied, the story is as sharply written as ever, and you will probably feel an emotional rollercoaster while playing it. With but two episodes remaining, The Walking Dead seems to stay on course for a much-deserved masterpiece label.- Gameblog.fr

The story of Super Mario Maker 2 appears manufactured in a rush, with Luigi lending a hand as an extra, but the castle's restoration offers an excellent presentation of this episode's additional perspectives. Those fulfill the main gaps of its predecessor through incredibly polyvalent mechanisms, quite magical staging tools and more or less stunning power-ups. Some elements among the most audacious are unfortunately confined into dedicated styles, along with limited control means overall, the architectural vision remaining very straight and square. Such stands the counterbalance of the harmony deployed inside this marvelous building site, even more accessible to boot. While the cooperative works don't always operate in synergy, the community dimension proves more stimulating than ever. A new (mile)stone - solid and ingeniously cut - for this construction edifice à la "MarioWare".- Gameblog.fr

Apex Legends isn't the last Titanfall game that we were waiting for, but it managed to surprise us by its innovative gameplay, inspired not only by the Battle Royale genre, but also by FPS and MOBA games. It will manage to make its way into the genre besides the "titan", Fortnite. The universe is complete and dives us into a fighting arena where we have to survive in order to please the public. After a very successful launch, Respawn holds the cards to make its battle royale game grow and surprise us even more.- Gameblog.fr

Paper Mario is certainly a very good game. It's sure to delight fans of the license, as well as old hands who've already played the original game 20 years ago on Gamecube. Newcomers, meanwhile, will discover one of the best spin-offs of the famous moustachio. Gripping, fun, funny and charming to the eye, the game has it all. Our only complaint is that the difficulty is still not quite up to scratch, even if those unfamiliar with the genre may find it a little hard to get going at first. On the plus side, this Mario Paper is, like all the games in the license, archi-accessible and well thought-out. It's an ideal entry point for young players who want to discover the basics of turn-based RPGs. In any case, whatever your profile, unless you're totally allergic to the license or hermetic to the genre, Paper Mario is an excellent game that would be a shame to miss on Nintendo Switch.- Gameblog.fr

It took patience to enjoy StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void, but we can say that Blizzard reconfirms that the RTS is its chosen field. The campaign is good and if you're not a PvP fan, the addition of a co-op mode is a good alternative. Regarding the online multiplayer, Blizzard brings many changes that will undoubtedly bring new strategies.- Gameblog.fr

Blizzard had to compromise to manage the expectations of a larger audience. Diablo III still manages to remain truthful to its roots, while still increasing accessibility for newcomers. Some players might be annoyed by those revisions of the formula, but the truth is that Diablo III still is the benchmark of modern hack'n slash games we were praying to get, thanks to incredible production values, polish, sound work and content.- Gameblog.fr
