F1 2020 manages to bring enough content with its new "My team" proposals which add yet another interesting layer to an already excellent base. We still regret the redundant side of the pre-race training programs (not enough variety), but it is ultimately the lot of Formula One that does not reinvent itself every day either. If you love F1 and want to enjoy it virtually, F1 2020 is the best and it is not because it is the only one.

Like Resident Evil 4 Remake, the new version of Separate Ways is way than the original thanks to its atmosphere, revisited parts that weren't in the game and of course, Ada. There aren't that many new features, and the IRIS mode is disappointed, but it's still a generous DLC that offers a different take on the story. Recommended for fans.

This Monster Hunter World PC version is not perfect, notably because of lack of details in textures definition and some errors in binding of keyboard. And the game doesn't support cross-platform. For the rest, the game is a good experience with lots of graphics options like a 60FPS possibility and more. We just need to wait for an HD textures pack to have the ultimate PC version.

This is the handheld version of Diablo that will please everyone. Diablo III: The Eternal Collection on Switch is a very successful and solid port of the 2012 game with all its content and updates. This is one of the best hack slash ever made, promising dozens and dozens hours of fun exploring, killing and looting in a magnificent dark fantasy world and the fact that you can play it anywhere and with anyone so easily makes it just irresistible.

Modern Warfare 3 concludes the trilogy with a solo campaign that goes beyond my expectations, and a multiplayer with subtle yet efficient revisions. It boasts better balancing and takes into account the supportive players more than ever compared to the regular solo guns blazing hero. Quite comprehensive, it also re-introduces the beloved Spec Ops mode, and the launch of Call of Duty Elite grants him the best available service in that category. Even though in terms of production values, and scope of the competitive multiplayer, Battlefield 3 harms Activision's champion, it remains a title that is firmly anchored to its traditional strengths, and doesn't get lazy. The lovers will be ecstatic, the haters gonna hate.

FIFA 11 is huge. Filled with licenses and data, amazing production-wise, with photo-realistic visuals and incredibly truthful animations, EA's simulation delivers a convincing gameplay paired with a thrilling atmosphere. From the rumbling of its stadiums to the hit music of its menus, this 2011 edition fills us with joy, as it's surprisingly able to innovate yet again, despite the franchise already being the frontrunner. Praise the 11 versus 11 online play with the ability to play as the goalkeeper. You're more of a manager. The career mode is there for you. Add several subtle additions here and there, and this year yet again, we'll have to call it "the king FIFA". And if the way EA Canada has paved up until now is any indication, it seems the throne isn't ready to waver.

LittleBigPlanet on the Vita has the same beautiful appearance, with a reworked interface using touch controls. Those integrate decisively well both when playing the solo campaign and creating levels. It may be a little short as a solo platformer, but apart from that, it's as good as ever, if not more.

Pillars of Eternity 2 is a very good sequel. It doesn't takes a lot of risks (muddled combat system, not enough serendipity in quests), but is still is an awesome lesson of how build a good RPG, with a fantastic writing and a beautiful art direction.

It was definitely worth the wait. Owlboy is not only a fantastic piece of pixel art with some great to support it but is also an engaging game, very well crafted, never boring, with an interesting and moving story.

When DICE buffs up the formidable war machine that is Battlefield Bad Company 2, their star multiplayer franchise, they use every last bit of cultural and movie folklore surrounding this cruel and well-covered conflict. Polished to the extreme, Vietnam enhances all the more the fun it gives us, and those typical moments of bravery.

Thanks to a "back to the roots" formula, Criterion succeeded in restoring the right path for the Need for Speed series : the chase HQ style pursuits between the police and the crazed drivers. It manages to do this with an inspired approach, borrowing from the original game or more recent ones, like with the finesse and fun inducing in-game equipment. The Autolog feature is a true revolution community-wise, and the online play guaranties hours of added fun. Can we ask for more ? Yes ; a less "heavy" handling of the cars, for an even more dynamic urban rodeo. The best NFS game since the third installment.

New Leaf isn't just about adding more activities and items in a green fashion, it's about empowering the player with the ability to model the town through its aspirations. And with the wider opening provided by the possibility to visit other cities through dreams, there are even more reasons to express ones creativity and discover the richness of Animal Crossing.

CD Projekt is trying to impress us with a beautiful Witcher 2, deeper and more fun. Finally, we find here the same flaws and the same qualities as in the first episode. The incredibly difficult fights (in the first hours), the unnecessary extras and the bad interface could have ruined the game, but The Witcher 2 will eventually conquer RPG fans with its world, its characters, its atmosphere and incomparable scenario. It's the Empire Strikes Back of video games. I can't wait for The Witcher 3!

Probably one of the best survival open world so far. A beautiful adventure with a true scenario and a very original game's mechanics. Diving into Subnautica ocean is a true pleasure and the only problem of the game is the lack of explanation in the scenario, which can be annoying because we sometimes go around in circles without finding a solution.

With a satisfying solo campaign (even though it's rather short), more mature both in terms of storytelling and artistic direction, blessed by superb visuals powered by a new and rather impressive graphical engine; a richer than ever multiplayer with more dynamic and furious gameplay, and nice co-op, free, episodic content with Spartan Ops: 343 Industries is undoubtedly ready to take over, and drive the series forward into a new dawn.

The Old Hunters provide invaluable hindsight through this nightmare, exhuming Yharnam's darkest secrets while fleshing out the gameplay with an extended set of tools. Therefore it's not only an addition to Bloodborne, but a truly fundamental part that should have been - and probably was - lying there from the beginning.

Could IO Interactive have ended the World of Assassination Trilogy better? Probably not. Even if Hitman 3 sticks to previous episodes formula and plays it safe, keeping its usual flaws, it offers gorgeous and incredibly well-conceived destinations that will indeed please fans. There are so many good trails to follow, so many possibilities that you'll sure end up with the urge to try everything in order to go for the perfect kill. If you own Hitman 1 and Hitman 2, there is some serious amount of challenges waiting. A PlayStation VR ? Prepare for a game-changing experience.

Persona 3 Reload is an excellent remake and truly modernize the game by harmonize it with Persona 5. A truly impressive graphical leap that which brings new perspectives and brings some new features. The Tartarus still feels outdated and could have benefited from some tweaks. But Persona 3 Reload is still a memorable game and one of the best of the beginning of the year.

If 2012 wasn't necessarily an unforgettable year in terms of releases for smartphones and tablets, 2013 starts very well with Year Walk. This enticing journey into Swedish myths and legends offers stunning visuals and sound, with puzzles, riddles, exploration and secrets to discover. It's a little short, but comes with a bonus free app explaining what the original legends and characters from Swedish folklore are. Definitely a fresh experience on iOS.

As a follow up to Braid (released in 2008), Jonathan Blow offers The Witness in which he continues his quest to challenge our brains with absolutely brilliant puzzles. This time though, he does it using the exploration of and island that is both mysterious and amazing, all the while taking us with him on a broad reflection about our perception of the world and our own existence. And he did all that with the panache that we've come to expect from him.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is a deep, dense and strong invitation to rediscover an all-time classic, thanks to a new three dimensional approach of the vast city of Midgar. The game fills up so many gap, deepens the plot, and sometimes takes way too much time to take us from point A to point B. But thanks to a strong and evolving combat system, new looks of iconic characters and a brilliant work of reorchestration of Uemtasu's score. If only it could have gone just a little further.
