Kinect Sports is a nice surprise among the launch line-up of Kinect. Granted, it's nothing outstanding, but still good fun. It's easy to pick-up, and family-friendly. And actually pretty physical! All we would ask is a new iteration with more mini-games, fun and ideas.

West of Dead is a very interesting action game, very punitive, as dying is definitive, but entertaining. If you manage to tame its camera angles, you'll find a pleasant alternative to Hotline Miami.

Freedom Cry is a good addition to Assassin's Creed IV, even if this DLC seems really limited compared to the main campaign of the game.

Ninja Gaiden Collection provides three very good games, but too bad we only have lazy ports here. It's almost the same games as the PS360 versions, and kind of expensive, too.

Star Wars Battlefront is a good game, as it's a fun multiplayer experience that's really faithful to the movies, but it lacks a little bit of punch and variety.

At first, Timespinner feels like a splendid new contender in the Metroidvania genre. It has some strong visuals and music, combat feels good, it offers maps we definitely want to explore and its story and characters are great. But this game feels a bit too easy, should have pushed the time manipulation idea and lacks epic feel in its boss fights, among other things.

Sludge Life is a strange but kind of hypnotic experience, between graffitis and social strikes, using its free exploration to deliver an in-between subtext. If the low-poly visual approach do not repulse you, this like-no-other ride sure offers a few hours of raw discoveries and disturbing encounters.

Without renewing its formula, Sribblenauts Unlimited remains a satisfying and friendly game for kids. It's a shame the new features from the Wii U version disappeared, though.

Brain Vs. Brain proves the most accessible and competitive Big Brain Academy to date, thanks to asynchronous scoring tables online, but this program lacks some innovation as well as overall content to attract lots of students for a long time.

If you're looking for a small Sci-Fi production smoothly combining action and stealth, with a tint of puzzle, Warp's for you. It's well crafted and well designed, but don't rush it too much ; it's easy and not very long.

A poorly made port of two titles among which the second one reached near-cult status. Still something to be experience, for sure, but it could have really been much better remastered.

Anarchy Reigns is a violent beat'em all, and an elitist one. Barely accessible, it could have been a superb brawler, but it suffers from a clear lack of polish, its mandatory solo mode is full of lengthy annoying and dull story elements you can't bypass, and once online, you will be spanked a lot before you can achieve anything. It's the last game Platinum Games did for Sega, and it shows.

SEGA clearly didn't want to go all out with Sakura Wars. And it's a shame as the game will probably be most of Western gamers' first introduction to the series. The game has an interesting main story, fun main characters and and its steampunk backgrounds are beautiful. But the dating sim parts are a chore, there aren't enough action scenes and the game as a whole looks like a PS3 game. As things stand, Sakura Wars is probably destined to stay a niche franchise in the West. And that's too bad.

Two of the best action games of the PS2 now in HD, with trophies and touch controls for the PS Vita... if you have already played those games before, it's not essential, but if not, just buy this collection.

Picross S2 feels exactly like the previous game. It is still very addictive, but also unable to bring some real new stuff to the mixture, except a rebranded Micross mode.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered is still a fun ride for fans of Ray, Egon, Peter and Winston. It's just too bad that no new features were added, that the game lost its multiplayer mode and, most of all, that it wasn't really remastered. Let's just hope that Saber Interactive will keep its promise and add a new multiplayer mode soon.

Meet Your Maker is a unique multiplayer game that mixes dungeon crawler, tower defense and community creation in a very interesting way. The recipe is addictive, and you'll be able to come back to it from time to time while pecking away. The title also has a great potential to evolve, especially when you know the studio Behaviour, but as it is, you will unfortunately have the feeling that you have done the trick in a few dozen hours. All the more so as its artistic direction, deliberately sad (post-apo obliges), will not have any argument to impress you. An amusing game then, that you should keep in the corner of your eye if you don't give in to temptation right away.

Despite its charming story and truly endearing characters, Haven does not deliver the adventure it once promised. Between its cryptic mecanics, redundant environments and rough battles, it seems like the game does not want to player ton pursue the adventure or have a pleasant time. Too bad, because Danger's soundtrack and the story of Yu and Kay should have had a better treatment.

Unique visuals, intriguing story and setting : even if it feels technically outdated, Mundaun succeeds in making you want to solve its mysteries. But it has many issues, starting with your character's sluggishness and how action and stealth can feel erratic and painful.

The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners 2 is not a bad game, but a bad sequel. It's certainly entertaining and successful in many ways, but it's no different from the first game. Yes, it's a sequel directly related to the first episode, but still. The new features can be counted on the fingers of one hand and are not sufficiently marked to really add value. Except maybe the night sorties, which are fun, a bit creepy and devilishly stressful. A very honest and fun PSVR 2 game, but not essential.

With The Siege of Paris, Assassin's Creed Valhalla goes back to the series' roots by allowing players to find the best way to get rid of their victims. With a very french intrigue and setting, this episode offers a pretty good reason to launch the game once again, sacrebleu !

For all the fans of the Sam Raimi Franchise, Evil Dead: The Game is quite a blessing and a good asymmetrical game overall. Melee combats are great except in tight places, in this case, it can be really difficult to understand what's going on screen. We hope that Saber Interactive will continue to expand its game with new content.

The House of Wolves is offering PvE content, but without featuring any new Raid. This time Bungie focused on players who likes play alone, or in small groups. That's quite smart after the first DLC. Some will obviously be disappointed by the absence of new raid, but the Prison of the Elders still represents a new way to play that all the PvE players will enjoy.

Dragon Quest Treasures could have been a Switch's little gem, but it will remain in the shadow of its elder brother. With its efficient collecting, taming and crafting mechanics, the spin-off could get any gamer hooked. The exploration is generous, engaging, but the annoying back and forth, the lack of fast travel, the laughably poor combat system and the shaky technique will get the better of the most patient. A fun game, captivating at its best, with wasted potential.

Mercury Steam continues to demonstrate its talent in this new contribution to its Lords of Shadow reboot of the Castlevania series. Beautifully transposed to 2,5D gameplay, this 3DS title brings back together demanding platforming and deep combat mechanics, in an accessible mix that only lacks a little more puzzles and, for old-timers, challenge.

Dead Rising 4 is a good game which takes most of the previous mechanics but forgets, once again, to implement the time limit we loved in the first episode. Some will be pleased, but the hardcore fans of the series won't.
