The right ingredients, a known recipe, but the cooked result doesn't work. It's slow paced, and one must rely on the community remaking the Mario Kart circuits to start enjoying himself... but still not that much.- Gameblog.fr

Like the Exclusion Zone of Chornobyl Zone since 1986, STALKER 2 seems like stuck in a time bubble that ignores current industry standards. With the exception of a very beautiful artistic direction thanks to a cleverly exploited Unreal Engine 5. We indeed find everything that made the success of the franchise in its time. Namely a fascinating open world to explore, albeit extremely oppressive which requires nerves of steel. The title may, however, put off newcomers who are not used to such a demanding experience, but will reward a hundredfold the most courageous ones ready to venture into it. We also appreciate the care taken in an intriguing story to follow, dictated by our choices. Despite several flaws that could break the pace or an otherwise impressive immersion and the presence of some more or less annoying bugs, STALKER 2 has come a long way. The 14 years of waiting for an unexpected return in such solid form deserves, in our opinion, to salute the determination and the deep testimony of love of GSC Game World towards this iconic license. As inhospitable as it is, the Zone tentatively invites us to get lost in it for hours of pleasure mixed with anxiety. A truly unique video game experience, which ultimately only needs a good layer of polish to truly shine.- Gameblog.fr

Not a must-have, still far from perfect, Mario Party 9 still manages to squash one of the most common criticism to the series by offering a quicker pacing in between runs, as all players now share the same ride. Everyone also competes for little stars, now, rather than the big purchasable ones. Not all the mini-games are funny, but enough are, and even though the concept is old as hell, it still works fine.- Gameblog.fr

A rich and complex tool. This is not necessarily a quality if you just want to have fun without spending hours on scripts. The interest now depends on your involvement and on the talent of the community, which is too weak for the moment.- Gameblog.fr

Despite a slow start, this DLC offers an alternative vision and storyline that translates in the gameplay as well, and will undoubtedly please Assassin's Creed III's fans. Too bad, though, that it's fragmented in three episodes - in terms of price, it's best to opt for the season pass.- Gameblog.fr

SoulCalibur is a stunning exemple of technical excellency in an iOS game. Unfortunatly, the lack of Story and Multiplayer modes, something that makes a difference between a good and a bad game in that genre, can only be considered with regret.- Gameblog.fr

With such fundamental narrative additions and rich locations to discover, Psychic Specters is undoubtedly the most complete, accomplished version of Yo-Kai Watch 2, underlining its role of Japanese culture's ambassador at the same time. Yet considering the substantial updates released for Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls, the decision to get this definitive edition will not only depend on what you possess, but will also reveal if your are possessed by Level-5's wicked franchise.- Gameblog.fr

If you weren't convinced by ArmA II, Operation Arrowhead won't help your appreciation of the series. The only difference with the original is the new content additions, with a reasonable price considering it's a standalone. As for the rest, it's more or less the same game, complete with its flaws, thus it deserves the same score.- Gameblog.fr

Assassin's Creed Origins' first DLC offers nothing new to anyone who finished the main game: with its artificial difficulty and its mandatory leveling, The Hidden Ones only takes advantage of its magnificent background to please the eye, even if you may encounter more bugs in a few hours of gameplay than in the entire series itself.- Gameblog.fr

Good atmosphere, decent production values, a lot of content and humor, funny puzzles, well implemented platform sequences, light combat : that's a lot of pros to make Traveller's Tales' developers proud. Yes, LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean is a rather fun title. But when will this saga revise its basics and innovate? With more than 5 games in the franchise, it may be time to consider that fans may very well like some new blood.- Gameblog.fr

Call of Duty Vanguard is a good vintage. Far from being revolutionary, he at least has the will to offer a new perspective on World War II. We quickly become attached to this motley group. It is especially on the multiplayer side that there is much to say. The good idea is to take the gameplay of Modern Warfare to the letter, or even too literally, because this brings the flaws of the title of Infinity Ward. Activision doesn't want to jostle gamers, offering content that has been seen and reviewed for years while adding a few well-felt niceties like Champion of the Hill mode. Clearly, the multiplayer is a bit above Cold War, would be only in the sensations controller in hand and on the gunplay in a general way. Call of Duty Vanguard is not the opus of the revolution, but clearly does the job, offering agame that will hold up for the year to come.- Gameblog.fr

Outriders is an OK RPG shooter that can be thrilling in it gunfights, but it never takes off. Its weak narrative and numerous bugs and crashes and lack of memorable moments prevent it from sitting next to the most successful online TPS.- Gameblog.fr

What's more yummy than an Action RPG that uses well the recipes of Zelda, Rygar and Castlevania combined? Something that does just that and more, a game that is a surprise for Nintendo, a true mature story of illness and love, a dark, and deep tale wrapped in old-school game design.- Gameblog.fr

Farming Simulator 2019 (just like its previous edition for that matter) has a base that allows it to be serene for future developments. Unfortunately, these developments are likely to be the result of a very active community, rather than the developer itself to overcome the lack of user-friendliness of its interface and the accompaniment of the player. Very complete on certain things (machines and activities proposed), it is failing on many aspects in its form. However, there is a real pleasure to act as a farmer, who would have been even greater with explanations and a real "story" to follow. Management games have been around for a long time when it comes to developing and managing a city, why not take inspiration from it here too?- Gameblog.fr

Thanks to a selection of greater games, NES Remix 2 provides a more exalting experience, from both a pedagogical and nostalgic point of view. But some remixes still lack inspiration, despite indieZero's efforts to create varied tricks. There are a few wonderful ideas though, proving that quality was chosen over quantity. And this is a clever way to revisit such old, yet relevant games today.- Gameblog.fr

Amnesia is not a flagship of the genre. It doesn't pretend to be, and it doesn't even try to revolutionise the genre or its franchise. It evolves a little in its content and structure, but retains the same strength. Its job is to scare you for a few hours by immersing you in its world, and it succeeds perfectly. The Alien Isolation-style beast that stalks you incessantly makes you break out in a cold sweat, and the game is gripping. You'll simply have to get used to the decade-old gameplay. The problem is that it can also put some people off.- Gameblog.fr

Kunai is a classic yet breathless metroidvania game, which capitalize on its strong action and fun narration. The sympathic Tabby and its variety of expressions is a bless to see, but the art direction suffers from its unflattering minimalism, and endless boss patterns that grows on frustration.- Gameblog.fr

Life is Strange Double Exposure is not only a delight for long-time fans, it's also a game that's well worth the journey. It captivates us with an intrigue that manages to surprise us, even when we think we've got it all figured out... It's a very appreciable tour de force that should leave a strong mark on the IP as a whole. The lore is growing and new possibilities seem to be opening up for the future. Of course, not all the features are perfect. The game is beautiful, without being overpowering, and bears witness to technical limitations that Deck Nine will have to correct in future iterations to demonstrate that it is capable of surpassing itself and taking the license even further. In any case, after this new installment, the Life is Strange IP could be approaching a tipping point in its formula and approach to writing. So we can't wait to discover what the sequel has in store for us. In the meantime, however, we've already got one thing on our minds: relaunching LiS 4 to explore all the alternative twists and turns. It's clear that Max Caulfield has made a successful comeback as a heroine.- Gameblog.fr

HAL Laboratory didn't manage to remodel platforming with this magnificent, yet superficial facelift made of clay. But Rainbow Curse succeeds in combining the tactile approach of the brush and Kirby's traditional gameplay design through the cooperative multiplayer, thus adding a new tone to the already colorful palette of the series.- Gameblog.fr

Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night had everything to be a great game, but sadly weird decision made by Atlus such as the lack of a proper solo mode, the addition of a lot of non-remixed tracks hurt the overall experience. Why tone down on the "Electro/Dancing" feeling that the first instalment had? That's a shame since the few remixes left are actually pretty good. Still a nice experience, but not as fullfiling as the first game.- Gameblog.fr

Bundled with a story and a special version adapted to the Mushroom Kingdom's universe, Puzzle & Dragons was meant to extend its success on the 3DS. But its main evolution is the change of economic model, the removal of micropayment revealing somehow paradoxically the true nature of PAD: a slot machine disguised as a puzzle game mixed with RPG. Although manipulating orbs and collecting monsters are still captivating activities, the artificial, if not arbitrary aspect of the gameplay empties Puzzle & Dragons Z of a real interest.- Gameblog.fr

The clear proselytism of the game may shock some, but let's not get angry for so little. Especially since Driftmoon is a little RPG Adventure game rather nice and funny, with playability and gameplay ideas that may very well inspire bigger productions. Don't expect any challenge, though. Amen.- Gameblog.fr

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Splintered Fate is a pleasant surprise on Nintendo Switch. Some might say that it's simply a copy of Hades, only not as good as usual, but Super Evil Corp has done a good job. It's a nice new entry in the ninja turtles universe, but marry by performance issues and graphics that don't do justice to a console.- Gameblog.fr
