Despite the somewhat repetitive missions, Driver San Francisco is packed with qualities. It's gotten back to its roots, but with an all new feature: the "shift" ability, which is wonderfully used in solo or multiplayer gameplay. The driving is really cool, the car chases are thrilling and spectacular...and the multiplayer is really good fun. A nearly perfect come-back!- Gameblog.fr

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is far more than a simple facelift applied to a beloved classic. It’s a heartfelt tribute, crafted above all for those who first explored the lands of Cyrodiil nearly twenty years ago. Virtuos and Bethesda have struck a delicate balance, modernizing the essentials without compromising the unique identity of the original. Visually, the transformation is often stunning. But behind this ambitious graphical overhaul, some technical aspects still show their age.- Gameblog.fr

Steel Division 2 is a deep and complex wargame, a lot more massive than the first game. Sadly it doesn't propose workshop at launch and it's a big problem because the first game survived mostly thanks to the mods.- Gameblog.fr

DOOM The Dark Ages puts us in a rather delicate position. On the one hand, we absolutely loved playing as the Slayer in a disproportionate medieval universe, thanks to a gameplay both "old-school" and modern, more brutal and enjoyable than ever, and even more accessible. On the other hand, the studio's attempts to bring more depth to the franchise's lore and game mechanics fell seriously flat overall. That didn't however stop us from having a monstrous blast eviscerating armies of demons, with a graphical and technical slap that was still as masterful as ever.- Gameblog.fr

There's real poetry coming from those pixels. In between Princess Mononoke, Zelda, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, Sword & Sworcery borrows from a lot of inspirations, digests them well, and adds its own style on top. It's a real and sensible adventure to discover, with fantastic visuals and musics, and a simple yet efficient gameplay. Its very low price makes it unmissable on the iPad. If you are looking for a fresh, different and referenced experience, speaking to your imagination more than your reflexes, then the journey is right ahead of you.- Gameblog.fr

Danganronpa 1 & 2 are two excellent games, but this PS4 port is a lazy one. You should prefer buying the two separate games on Vita if you have one. If you don't though, then consider buying this PS4 collection and discover a wonderful Visual Novel series(the 3rd episode is coming soon !).- Gameblog.fr

We expected just another installment of DBZ, with the same story, the same battles, with no originality... We were wrong! Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2 pushes the limits of the genre with a new combat system that makes all possible. A beautiful game, super fast, comprehensive and very technical. One of the really best DBZ fighting games.- Gameblog.fr

With Lumines Remastered the 2004 PSP game makes a magnificent return. Gameplay, visuals and music, that are intimately intertwined, are dope. And Rumble HD, that you can apply to other Joy-Cons, is a great to feel everything that this puzzle game with a lot of content - but no online game, sorry - has to offer.- Gameblog.fr

When the complete series is out there, and The Walking Dead becomes a full game, this fourth episode won't be one to be mocked or tagged as a low point. All the ingredients were successfully implemented, and Telltale doesn't begin to lose the momentum of this engaging story at any point up to the almost enraging cliffhanger. Now all that's left is to wait for the next one.- Gameblog.fr

You can regret that this is not a new WipEout for PS4. But you can't blame this compilation fr being what it is. Because it is indeed a great way to meet again with the series and its beautiful and intoxicating races, with a lot of challenges and fun offered offline and online.- Gameblog.fr

With no less than 150 unlockable tracks, Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory lives up to its name: it's a sincere tribute to both the story and the music of the whole series. The gameplay requires great skill and regular involvement from the player, who can also practice with others online or on the same couch, with the coop mode.- Gameblog.fr

The sooner the better? This may apply to Pokémon Ultra-Sun and Ultra-Moon in many ways. While fresh memories from the previous episodes help to notice the small, delicate differences, with clever twists aimed at Alola's returning vacationers, the main story transformations happen rather late. Similarly, the additions are mostly interesting, even captivating, but they often lack more development to display their full potential, and overall flaws were not really addressed, in particular tedious pace and inconsistent challenge. However, the generous amount of commemorative - not to say recycled - content suggests Game Freak tried to achieve some closure there, broken rules like the introduction of new species during this generation hinting that the series might seriously evolve in the future. Better late than never.- Gameblog.fr

Blasphemous 2 is a success. If you enjoyed the first journey, you'll love this new pilgrimage. And if you're a first-timer, don't panic - you don't need to have played the first game to try this adventure. Blasphemous 2 stands on its own. Part Metroidvania, part Souls-like, the game takes the best of both worlds and builds its own personal mechanics in the process. The result is more than convincing. The gameplay is accessible but demanding, the difficulty is present but not insurmountable, and exploration is a pleasure, even if it's easy to get lost. There's no doubt that Blasphemous 2 is a rather striking game, if only for its proposition and its universe, which deals with mythology and religion in a way that we don't often see. The resulting art direction and bestiary are also top-notch, despite a few repeats from the first episode. The whole thing is bathed in an ear-watering OST and boasts top-notch pixel art. Whether you're a lover of the genre, a fan of the licence or just curious, go for it.- Gameblog.fr

Warren and his team did it : they brought back MIckey's former videogame glory. There are still some camera issues tainting the gameplay, but the variety (with quests and choices, 2D gameplay phases, etc.), its clever mechanics, brilliant art direction, and great music make it an integral herald of the heritage of excellence of its 16bit ancestors. Its bewitching world, with its melancholy vibe, will undoubtedly charm all Disney and Animation History fans. Its a must-have for the Wii.- Gameblog.fr

Chernobylite is an excellent narrative RPG that will totally please players in need of post-apocalyptic settings. It certainly isn't a revolution, as its combats and crafting systems feel very familiar, but it has a few mechanics that hit the mark and a great story with a powerful ending.- Gameblog.fr

It took a decade for the vacuum left by the absence of Advance Wars to be filled, not by a new game in the series but by Wargroove, an independent title that has all its qualities. The difference is the tone and look, the fantasy world rather than the military too, but for the rest, Wargroove is the turn-based tactical game that fans of the genre were waiting for, especially on Nintendo Switch obviously.- Gameblog.fr

As its title suggests, Tell Me Why depicts the journey of two siblings trying to find the truth about their twisted past. Addressing in a mature way the transgender question, the game also delivers an interesting perspective on the flaws of human memory, with the confrontation of childhood recollections. The second episode sometimes moves at low pace and the game lacks of new environments, but the overall experience is memorable.- Gameblog.fr

The Crew Motorfest is a true evolution. The game improves the basics of the previous games while drastically improving their weak points: graphics and sound finally worthy of current standards despite some small bumps. The gameplay and arcade physics of the totally reworked and pleasant vehicles both at the controller and at the wheel, an original system of playlists and generous and varied general content.- Gameblog.fr

Despite some original minigames and clever boss battles, the story mode falls short, since it strictly serves to teach the new gameplay mechanics. Mario Tennis Aces introduces "zone" tricks that prove both spectacular and powerful, offensively as well as defensively, thus creating a singular, radical timing approach to tennis, yet rather adequate for such competitive ambitions online. However, more risks should have been taken, particularly through the evolution of the double tap system in order to play closer to the lines, and increase the errors potential, which would add not only consistency, but also authenticity. Therefore this episode reaffirms the series' legendary accessibility underlined by the discrete motion mode à la Wii Sports, a classical ace of conviviality on the whole from Camelot.- Gameblog.fr

With Quantum Conundrum, Kim Swift proves her talent for designing puzzle games. The structure of the game is the same than in Portal, so it's hard to feel lost or even surprised. But manipulating the dimensions is fun and solving the puzzles will make you feel powerful and smart. Too bad the story isn't on par.- Gameblog.fr

Frostpunk 2 brilliantly continues the legacy of the first game by deepening moral dilemmas and adding complex political mechanisms. Every decision matters, whether it’s to satisfy a faction or meet the immediate needs of the city. The game asks a fundamental question: how far are you willing to go for your society to thrive in a frozen world? If you enjoyed the first Frostpunk or appreciate games that blend strategy with moral reflection, Frostpunk 2 is a must-play.- Gameblog.fr

On a modern computer, Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition looks absolutely stunning, thanks to new visual options - more frames per second, adjustable FOV... There are some technical flaws, but it doesn't prevent from enjoying Aloy's Adventure and its magnificent post-apocalyptic open world, even if it feels a bit redundant and not that refreshing in terms of stage work and dialogues.- Gameblog.fr

After such a long time away from the green, Mario's clubs could have been rusty. At first indeed, it seems this comeback only relies on the same proven physics engine and subtle gameplay. The swing technique didn't change at all, even with the alternative method intuitively based on touch. But rather than pursuing realism, Mario Golf : World Tour expresses its arcadish approach in an audacious way, through a cartoonish world filled with interactive elements from the Mushroom Kingdom and the addition of power-ups. This arsenal is ingeniously exploited by the courses design, driving golf to a new dimension liberated from the laws of gravity. An amazing and joyful interpretation of this sport that can finally be shared easily with friends or competitors online. Who would have thought that golf was so friendly ?- Gameblog.fr

Rock Band 4 doesn't changing much compared to the previous episodes, it adds the freestyle feature, which is really nice, but it doesn't put a lot of new ideas in its old formula... Thus said, it's still a fantastic rhythm game to play, alone and of course with friends, to get the complete band. The gameplay is nearly perfect and, above all, the game is compatible with your old instruments and all 1700 past DLC songs.- Gameblog.fr
