Hard, dirty, but definitively brilliant, The Evil Within marks Shinji Mikami's return in Survial Horror genre, with talent. Prepare yourselves: you will suffer.- Gameblog.fr

With loads of content both in solo or multiplayer modes, a solid gameplay and nice riding sensations, SSX easily becomes the number one in its genre... even though there might not be that much competition. Because it's still far from being perfect : visually underwhelming, and with permissive collisions there is still room for improvement.- Gameblog.fr

The Evil Within improves the game mechanics by adding the exploration of a few open zones. A very good game for horror fans.- Gameblog.fr

Cyber Shadow is an impressive old school ninja game. The kind of retro experience that can't be recommended to everyone, as it shines by being very very difficult, but a challenge that some stubborn players asking themselves if they still have good reflexes and memory will enjoy for sure.- Gameblog.fr

Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed is one of the best love letters written to Sega. It's a new reference in the genre, so one can been keen on forgetting about some of the characters of the original that disappeared in this sequel, the occasional frame-rate issue, or the loading times.- Gameblog.fr

Given its price, it's hard to criticize anything in Burn it All. But nonetheless, its drag and drop mechanic sometimes results in hiccups when the player has his finger on the screen, obfuscating the image, trying to move the flames with precision, and it doesn't offer the same precision and genius as Cut the Rope did. But beyond that, Burn it All is a great game with a very high challenge for completion-obsessed gamers, and for less than a dollar, it would be a crime not to play this very-well polished game.- Gameblog.fr

Killzone 3 shows a great variety, both on the environments side and the gameplay side, while respecting of course the DNA of the series. The single player campaign is more pleasant than in Killzone 2, and the multiplayer is really solid. As expected, Guerilla offers us a very good shooter, which stands out as a landmark of its kind on PlayStation 3.- Gameblog.fr

Rockstar reclaimed Max Payne in their own way, without changing its core: it's a shooter, and its main protagonist is as dark as ever. The real surprise comes from the multiplayer, one of the best third-person multiplayers we've played.- Gameblog.fr

Singular and therefore quite striking, "JETT Le Rivage Lointain" in French in the text, is a journey that should not be missed. It will not remain as a lasting memory that will mark the life of a player forever. It looks more like that nice walk we took on the weekend and which leaves vivid memories. It is a game that has a soul and brilliantly composes a striking musical and aesthetic blend.- Gameblog.fr

Better than FIFA 15, FIFA 16 delivers some big changes in terms of defense, freedom, pace and A.I. It needs some practice to fulfill its potential and appear truly pleasant, tense and realistic. There are still some issues, like the referee, that can irritate. It's not the perfect game but the whole package is so appealing that it's impossible to resist if you are a true football fan.- Gameblog.fr

Let's be clear : Kinectimals won't be able to capture an adult's attention for long, but let's not forget that it's not made for them. But it's easy to pick up and follow, beautiful, and unbeatable when it comes to making a child smile : yes, the magic works. There may be some latency, and indeed sometimes Kinect seems to react in an odd fashion, but the overall experience remains solid. Touching, even. Probably the most immersive and moving pet game to date.- Gameblog.fr

Too bad this 360 edition doesn't include most of the refinements of the computer version. It's a port of an old beta version, but it's actually a very good one, complete with an enhanced interface, a very nice tutorial, and probably the best multiplayer of all since it's Xbox Live based and as such, very easy to use and enjoy.- Gameblog.fr

Ever wanted to know what it's like to be Batman? If that's the case, Batman: Arkham VR is a great place to start. In this surprisingly dark game, you have to solve a mystery using Batman's tool and gadgets. If you're a fan of Batman who has access to a PlayStation VR, you should really give Rocksteady's experience a chance.- Gameblog.fr

Developers have done a great job in correcting what was a bit old or wrong with the first game. We now have a brilliant strategy game that looks fine but is also enjoyable quickly by everyone, thanks to the Campaign Mode. Online gaming has well evolved too and it's quite sure that, even if all the races are not yet available, fans of the franchise and curious players will find what they seek.- Gameblog.fr

As a current-gen upgrade rather than a remaster/remake, this PS5/Xbox Series version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance does its job well. It effectively utilizes the capabilities of the latest consoles to display the 2018 title smoothly in up to 4K resolution, complete with high-definition textures, even if these don't entirely mask the fact that it's an eight-year-old game. Thanks to its impeccable performance, this is clearly the best console iteration of Warhorse Studios' first title, despite the controls being generally less intuitive with a gamepad than with the PC keyboard/mouse combo.- Gameblog.fr

Cris Tales is the first game from the Colombians studio Dreams Uncorporated, and it's rather impressive, with a deliciously retro feeling, a charming design mixing pastels, 2D and 3D, very pleasant for the eyes despite some optimization concerns, even on PS5, where DualSense is not very well supported. What makes Cris Tales original is not its classic scenario, but the powers of its protagonist, who can see both the past and the future at the same time. In game, it means a screen cut in three, and we can have fun moving the camera to observe the destiny and life of an NPC by running from left to right. In combat, it's quite exhilarating, since it will be necessary to mix temporal and elemental mechanics to overcome his enemies. Clearly, Cris Tales is a very humble and charming little game, and if this is your kind of game, you should look into its case.- Gameblog.fr

A truly pleasant follow-up to PES 2016. With a few new tactical features and some refinements in terms of gameplay, PES 2017 succeeds in delivering a strong soccer experience to those who love that sport. Even without bringing truly fresh ideas to the formula it is definitely a strong entry in the series.- Gameblog.fr

Red Orchestra's back with an even more polished gameplay, a new graphical engine, some added mechanics, and, indeed, tanks. The realism of the first one is back yet again, even though some slight modifications may throw off some of the gamers used to the original. But this mix of atmosphere and demanding gameplay, both as an individual FPS gamer and a team player, is what makes RO2 unique. It still lacks a little polish, though, but a patch should take care of this.- Gameblog.fr

A fascinating survival-horror game. Despite some surprising shortcomings, in particular a perfectible playability and combat system, ZombiU puts the player at the center of a zombicalypse like no other game. The extremely well polished atmosphere, high difficulty and asymmetrical gameplay ideas deliver an intense experience that all fans of horror and survival themed games should live.- Gameblog.fr

This port of Darksiders II on the Wii U has both pros and cons: on the con side, some frame rate drops and less than perfect visual optimisations. On the pro side: all the DLC packed in, the maps and touch screen inventory on the Wii U GamePad. The rest is as the originals: excellent.- Gameblog.fr

There are games that surprise you simply because they didn't have to exist—at least, not in this form. LEGO Batman: The Legacy of the Dark Knight could have been just another spin-off, another box of bricks sitting on an already crowded shelf. TT Games decided otherwise. It is neither a mechanical rehash of the Arkham series, nor merely another licensed LEGO title; rather, it is a universal work that pays tribute to a character who has endured through the ages—and seems to understand exactly why. It isn't flawless. The stealth mechanics sometimes feel like a half-remembered echo of Rocksteady's games, while the combat constantly reminds you that the game refuses to become too intimidating for its intended audience. Yet, TT Games has delivered its most ambitious title in a long time. It is also its most polished. And, above all, its most honest. An immense love letter to Batman, radiating a contagious sincerity. Ten years after Arkham Knight, that felt almost like a forgotten sensation.- Gameblog.fr

You will not be bored a single second in Expeditions : Conquistador, if you're the type of gamer who loves this bland of turn-based strategy, RPG and New World atmosphere. This subtle genre cocktail finds new dynamics with the complexities of the story embedded in all the game's aspects. The story approach is the main innovation of this first title by Logic Artist, and propels it far above any regular indie game.- Gameblog.fr

The Golf Club 2019 is a very good golf game, which shines in particular by its game system that is both realistic and rewarding. It does not hustle the codes, but offers an infinite renewal, thanks to its system of procedural generation in addition to the official courses of the PGA Tour. The loading times also benefit from a particular optimization and are non-existent during play, which favors concentration.- Gameblog.fr
