Comprehensive, realistic and highly technical, Madden NFL 18 rises to the level of the best sports simulations games. Boosted by the Frostbite engine, the game is not only a visual feast but also offers quite a decent challenge for advanced players.

Star Wars Battlefront II draws a line from the past of the license. Complete overhaul of the space combat system, disappearance of the walker mode, addition of classes, significant content at the launch, various objectives, addition of a solo campaign. Everything we have expected in the first one is finally here. Only the cash shop and the feeling of shooting (little bit spineless) are problems. Despite that we have in front of us a complete Star Wars game, especially with best the SW space combat since the X-Wing series.

Dragon Quest 3 Remake is a real sweet that brings us back to a time we sometimes miss terribly. With its beautiful 2D-HD graphics, reorchestrated music, non-negligible comfort options, excellent full French translation and sometimes timid new features, Artdink Corporation and Team Asano deliver the best version of one of the founding episodes of the license. A game that is good for nostalgia and whose touches of modernity sublimate a timeless work. A must for lovers of the saga and fans of turn-by-turn role-playing games and a very good gateway for neophytes.

This 17-Bit game is a love letter of strategy fans, and manages successfully to bring turn-based strategy in the hands of all. Its accessibility, its quality, its balanced, deep yet simple gameplay, everything was designed to go straight to what matters, while polishing the details. With its cross-platform multiplayer and a very nice, funny atmosphere, it may very well be the perfect entry point to a genre that is more often than not perceived as dull and complicated.

Bound is such a poetic and different game. Sure its gameplay is minimalist, but the journey is quite dazzling.

The Old Hunters provide invaluable hindsight through this nightmare, exhuming Yharnam's darkest secrets while fleshing out the gameplay with an extended set of tools. Therefore it's not only an addition to Bloodborne, but a truly fundamental part that should have been - and probably was - lying there from the beginning.

Nearly on par with the Portal series, The Talos Principle is a refreshing title. Thanks to its many smart ideas and inspired puzzles. Game of not-so-obvious challenges, it will demand some patience for sure, but it's really worth your time.

20 years after its first release, the Ace Attorney series reminds us how strong and unpredictable Shu Takumi's writing feels. With those linked three episodes, there is no reason not to enter the courtroom once again, even though Capcom could frankly have worked on some tiny options and bonuses to please the fans of old Nick.

If you like the classic souls-like formula, Wuchang Fallen Feathers is a truly exemplary textbook case, but which adds some very welcome touches of originality to freshen up the experience. The Chinese title thus offers a generous, exhilirating adventure, with a level design that is as well executed as it is beautiful to contemplate, and spectacular fights, perhaps a little too much against bosses with increasingly unbridled power requiring you to have a near-perfect mastery of its gameplay. In any case, the Middle Kingdom has here again a very good big-budget game, which proves solid in everything it undertakes, but perhaps a little too conventional for those allergic to a genre that is nowadays a bit saturated.

Polished on many aspects that were defects, this F1 2018 is an excellent vintage to justify its purchase even for those who own the previous version. The new regulations are also numerous and it is essential to follow the movement to stick to reality. With its driving combining both sensations and racing strategy, F1 2018 brings an unusual depth in car games. Fans of formula one, go for it. For others, you will learn a lot about discipline if you decide to give it a try.

Halo 5 : Guardians is undoubtedly a game worthy of the Halo name. Its campaign opens an interesting new page in the Halo saga and its gameplay is, as always, on point. The game also benefits from the addition of the Warzone mode, a fun new twist on the classic Halo multiplayer experience. It really is too bad that local coop/multiplayer was taken out.

Life is Strange Double Exposure is not only a delight for long-time fans, it's also a game that's well worth the journey. It captivates us with an intrigue that manages to surprise us, even when we think we've got it all figured out... It's a very appreciable tour de force that should leave a strong mark on the IP as a whole. The lore is growing and new possibilities seem to be opening up for the future. Of course, not all the features are perfect. The game is beautiful, without being overpowering, and bears witness to technical limitations that Deck Nine will have to correct in future iterations to demonstrate that it is capable of surpassing itself and taking the license even further. In any case, after this new installment, the Life is Strange IP could be approaching a tipping point in its formula and approach to writing. So we can't wait to discover what the sequel has in store for us. In the meantime, however, we've already got one thing on our minds: relaunching LiS 4 to explore all the alternative twists and turns. It's clear that Max Caulfield has made a successful comeback as a heroine.

South Park: The Stick of Truth is by far the best South Park game ever made and one of the funniest video games ever. Gamers who enjoy a good laugh owe it to themselves to play this game. And the fact the Switch allows players to take the game everywhere with them make things even better.

Hot Shots Vita remains a nobrainer for Sony consoles. This tru sim-game wrapped in its cute graphics is easy to pickup, but hard to master. With its online play, loads of stuff to unlock, and precise gameplay, its as good as ever, even though we'd have hoped for more new features and better visuals.

Saber Interactive uses SnowRunner’s very strong foundation to deliver a new alternative experience with Expeditions: A MudRunner Game based on exploring hostile and wild areas. Without being totally new, since it borrows a lot from its predecessor, the game nevertheless manages to grab us with its sublime scenery, but also and especially its fascinating gameplay and physics. The new mechanics introduced as the management of gadgets and equipment only reinforce the strategic aspect of a demanding title but within the reach of all motivated adventurers, novices as old adventurers of the MudRunner saga. Too bad not to be able to enjoy it with friends for the release, but we already know: Expeditions is there for a long time, alongside his cousin SnowRunner.

Death Stranding Director's Cut rekindles the flame for this extraordinary epic tales. The new additions allow this adventure to be seen from a new perspective. It adds new features aimed at neophytes. It is above all to them that this title is addressed. However, Hideo Kojima's teams do not forget the fans through the new action missions and the scoring table in order to push for performance and replayability. We are facing a title that is already excellent in its foundations and the new additions come to strengthen them to give an overall rendering that it would be a shame to miss out on, especially if you had not given the original version a chance.

Kena Bridge of Spirits is more than a promising start from Ember Lab. Not only does it shine through its visuals and the presence of those little creatures called Rots, this action and adventure game that looks like an animated film offers an overall experience that is certainly a bit classic, a little young in some aspects, but perfectly condensed to allow both gameplay and storytelling to satisfy players who are looking for a nice trip to take after several periods of lockdown. Magical.

Even if the formula is still the same, without any significant new gameplay elements, The Lost Legacy succeeds in being a very good stand-alone in the Uncharted universe. It's a gorgeous (probably the most beautiful PS4 game at the moment) and funny ride, and its lovable and very interesting protagonists surely deserve to get a another shot in a more consequential and surprising game.

Like on a small cloud. Magical.
