Games that are as exceptional as this one are so rare, than when one comes, it's impossible not to grab it really tight and press it against our chest.- Gameblog.fr

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire push to new heights the weakest duo in the series. Two excellent remakes that still doesn't surprise and innovate as much as Pokémon X and Y did last year.- Gameblog.fr

Nothing unexpected in The Frozen Wilds. It adds a few pleasant features, a lot of cool characters, side-quests, content, challenges and things to collect to the recipe of a great game. As it's extending its universe well, we can say the job is done. And now we're waiting for the next chapter.- Gameblog.fr

Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise on the Wii is a worthy addition to the series. It's precise, demanding, completely crazy, funny and also offers for the first time a 2 player mode.- Gameblog.fr

After everything it went through, UFG's game is surprisingly efficient. It's a relaxed GTA-like well-served by the typical plot you'd find in any good HK movie, full of fist fights and acrobatics. The music kicks ass, and the atmosphere of the famous Chinese city does the rest.- Gameblog.fr

Available to the Western audience for the first time, Trials of Mana is without a doubt the main attraction of this Collection of Mana, in which we can also find Final Fantasy Adventure and one of the most iconic games of the Super NES era : Secret of Mana.- Gameblog.fr

Even if it tends to be a bit frustrating in its second half, as it opens up a bit, The Messenger is still a magnificent and really great to play independent action platformer with some clever ideas and a lovable personality.- Gameblog.fr

World of Warships is unfortunately a very good game. It is balanced and offers a varied and strategically interesting experience. It's unfortunate, because with its mercantile elements it will empty your wallet as quick as a shipwreck. It is up to the player and his conscience to make the difference. If you have friends with whom to play and organize in cooperative plays, it's even worse. Anyway, it's like the dealer ... The first dose is free, so what's the problem in trying ?- Gameblog.fr

Stacking, the lastest title of Double Fine, combines original gameplay with a scenario full of a nicely sick humour. The challenges are divided in several levels, allowing the brain-lazy to enjoy the story, while others pick their brains trying to complete the game at 100%. But the art direction by itsleft is worth the small price asked by the developer for this little jewel of an adventure / puzzle game. So play with dolls!- Gameblog.fr

A great stealth game that suffers from a few annoying flaws. The 20 rather long missions it offers are inconsistent quality-wise, making the fan constantly switching from frustration to utter delight. But these moments are so delicious that we eventually want to forget about the game shortcomings (odd difficulty balancing, perfectible AI, sequences that can't be dealt with without gunfights). In the end, we are particularly pleased to reconnect with this subtle and original gameplay from past Hitman games, the many different ways to kill a single target, and of course all these humor-filled dialogues and situations. You have to play it if you like stealth games.- Gameblog.fr

Without taking the crown of the Kirby of all Kirbys, the one that swallows its ennemies, transforms and holds its breath to fly, the ten little gluttons of Kirby : Mass Attack are a good example of a smart use of the tactile interface of the DS. It takes a little of Pikmin and Mario in the best possible way, even though one might feel like it's getting repetitive on the long run.- Gameblog.fr

Gorogoa is a very subtle and brilliantly innovative visual experience that will let your wide wide open long after its conclusion, thanks to a clever structure from start to finish. Jason Roberts' first game choose to mute this narrative puzzle tale, only to focus on strong visuals that navigates somewhere between surrealism and melancholy. Gorogoa may be quick to finish, but a second run seems clearly mandatory once you saw the ending. Too bad that all the available versions of the game display such different prices.- Gameblog.fr

Dexterity, wits, and a cold-blooded attitude, that's what you need to play VVVVVV, the indie platformer of Terry Cavanagh, well-known on the PC and now available on the 3DS. The port works perfectly well, and even though it doesn't make any use of the 3D whatsoever, it's as good as ever.- Gameblog.fr

Between its update and its Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, Animal Crossing New Horizons has been significantly polished up. Nintendo has finally taken fan feedback into account to greatly improve the gaming experience. For those who have played the game before 2026, all the quality-of-life improvements will be a real relief. Additionally, the new modes further enrich the range of activities already available at launch. This has significantly extended the game's length, making it worth restarting or even starting a new game today. A true timeless classic. It has once again established itself as a must-have title that is more enjoyable than ever on the new Big N console.- Gameblog.fr

This fifth episode efficiently concludes a whole season that has just been constantly brilliant in terms of narrative and staging. A lot of surprises happen and lead to a final decision with potential consequences that will definitely help to remember this whole season of Life is Strange as a beautiful present from Dontnod to the players.- Gameblog.fr

On paper, The Game Bakers' latest game might be simplistically labeled a “climbing simulator,” but in practice, it is far more than that. Beyond offering a challenge to both Aava and the player, CAIRN delivers an epic adventure rarely seen in video games. It is a work capable of inspiring wonder, frustration, anger, and moments of calm. Yet, what lingers most is the extraordinary sense of elation when we finally overcome our repeated failures. CAIRN is yet another reminder of the talent flourishing in French studios, and of the pride we can justifiably take in them.- Gameblog.fr

Some works leave a deep impression on you. After the excellent Gris, Nomada has succeeded for a second time in making a condensed game that will nevertheless leave a lasting impression on those who venture into it. It's hard not to compare it with the studio's previous title, so similar are they in some ways. But Neva has a personality of its own. It tackles other themes, just as universal and with an evocative force that goes straight to the heart. We want more, just a little bit more, to close this never-ending story with the feeling that we've really reached the end of what the game can tell us. This doesn't detract from the pleasure of traversing the sublime scenery of this dreamlike world, in the company of this little she-wolf whom we quickly fall in love with. Neva will definitely find its place in the hearts of all gamers.- Gameblog.fr

Visually stunning, with roughly 12 hours of gameplay, Dust remains quite spectacular, especially knowing it's the work of only two people. But after a charming start, one doesn't take long to witness a gigantic shortcoming: there's no challenge whatsoever and the heroes don't benefit from any sort of evolution over the course of the adventure. The game design thus becomes void, when all you need to do is to press four buttons continuously to finish the game.- Gameblog.fr

Crazier than ever, this Megamix compiles the very best of Rhythm Heaven, not only through the stages, remastered or new, but also with a formula improved by a more accessible approach and the proven digital controls. Here is the perfect occasion to (re)discover this unique combination of music and game design literally pushed beyond the stars, a much more ambitious performance than it seems, that deserves rapturous applause, waiting for an encore.- Gameblog.fr

FIFA 19 has a lot of content and features that will entertain players offline and online for hours. It still has authenticity with what is needed to let us feel we have control over a broadcasted football game. It is a better version than FIFA 18 but it is still too keen on delivering a too spectacular soccer experience at all costs.- Gameblog.fr

MIO Memories in Orbit is undoubtedly a wonderful surprise and an invitation to feast your eyes and ears. It's a game of rare artistic intensity that exudes genuine poetry throughout. You'll enjoy losing yourself in it for dozens of hours and exploring the sometimes sprawling depths of its inspired environments. Beneath its more than charming visuals lies a highly effective Metroidvania that borrows good ideas from various sources and applies them flawlessly with great precision. The execution is excellent, but the gameplay lacks personality, which truly contrasts with everything else. While you'll discover a profoundly unique world, you'll also have the feeling of having played it before. But it's hard to fault it for that, especially if you're a fan of the genre, as the journey is well worth experiencing.- Gameblog.fr

Twisted Pixel started with a lot of ideas and good will for this semi-remake, semi-follow-up to their best game to date, 'Splosion Man. If gamers will get a lot of value, thanks to an amount of content that could put to shame several better-established productions, its implementation suffers too many shortcomings, starting with the basic concept that strayed too far away from the original by design. It's like this good old saying : if it ain't broke, don't fix it.- Gameblog.fr

Assassin's Creed Odyssey seems to be the series paroxysm: wider, richer and deeper than every other episode, the game still suffers from repetitiveness. The fascinating manhunt and the real choices will keep most players hooked up for a while, but only those who bought a PS4 Pro or a Xbox One X will benefit form the game's beautiful visuals. If you want to explore this endless Greek world inhabited with brilliant minds of their time, you will have to go through more of the same fetch quests the series has dealt with for so long.- Gameblog.fr
