This game does everything, to appear normal, the first "real game" for virtual reality; and yet paradoxically amazes less than other titles already available for PlayStation VR; little titles that actually appear much more in line with the technology itself, and slightly surpass the the (still) majestic Robinson the Journey.- Everyeye.it

Even on a technical level, the work is not flawless: although the city has postcard views and sets up an atmosphere of refined elegance, in fact, some graphical updates show the side of obvious, yet never limiting, uncertainties.- Everyeye.it

With its hybrid nature between roguelite and cozy game, Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree attempts to make its mark on the gaming landscape. The high sugar content may prove indigestible to those who don't like a certain Japanese animation style. Those who embrace its philosophy, however, will find a choral adventure, rich in personality and heart. It never achieves excellence, but it remains a light and satisfying journey, capable of entertaining for many hours without ever becoming overly punishing. There's still work to be done. The dual-character system is a great idea but still feels immature, while the evident repetitiveness of the bosses and arenas may bore some. Imperfections aside, Towa proves to be a heartfelt title, and this is undoubtedly its greatest strength.- Everyeye.it

Turning a blind eye to the graphics and taking into account the limits of Joy-Con with such a technical title, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 remains a gem even on Nintendo Switch, albeit much less brilliant.- Everyeye.it

On the scenic front, The Callisto Protocol hits the bull's-eye with a first-rate, forward-looking visual presentation, and with a long series of intense encounters with horrific monstrosities, which react credibly to the electric baton blasts that hit them. Alternating body to body shooting or the use of the gravitational glove can give real adrenaline rushes but not the tension that many expected. From the progression at times not very stimulating, up to some playful imbalances, which emerge above all in the course of specific boss fights, this horror-tinged action is certainly a "good first" for Striking Distance Studios but, also thanks to a problematic narrative sector, it failed to express - sadly - its full potential.- Everyeye.it

In short, there are some burrs, yet Bloodroots succeeds in its twofold undertaking: to pay homage to the original title of Dennaton Games by packaging an "action-without-respite" with its own identity. Warmly recommended for those looking for a valuable, fun and at the right price indie.- Everyeye.it

Last Epoch is truly the perfect middle ground between Diablo 4 and Path of Exile, but this feature is not enough to make it an action RPG masterpiece. At present, the Eleventh Hour Games title is nothing more than a good hack and slash that entertains for several dozen hours, but which fails to leave its mark due to a lackluster artistic direction and a rather monotonous endgame.- Everyeye.it

We repeat: approach Martha is Dead with the right awareness. It is a work that thrives on illusions, which often changes appearance, which suggests playful stimuli and then moves elsewhere, in a schizophrenia that deceives but involves. It is a cruel game, narratively imperfect, and at the same time quite courageous, as well as not very lenient towards the (very difficult and very delicate) subject it deals with. Get closer to Luca Dalcò's creature knowing that an adventure awaits you where lies and truth move in symbiosis, in a whirlwind of verbal, physical and mental violence. It hurts. Martha is Dead hurts a lot.- Everyeye.it

Ultimately, the new Piccolo Studio game, after the excellent Arise: A Simple Story, is another little gem that could delight fans of platform adventures, especially if sensitive to the passionate environmental message that the title tries to convey for the approximately 6/7 hours necessary to complete it. While generally solid, the gameplay shows its side to some critical issues, especially in the combat phases, but the breathtaking artistic direction alone is reason enough to embark on this bittersweet epic.- Everyeye.it

Evolve is a bold move from Turtle Rock. It's a game that requires time and patience to be fully mastered, and a fair number of matches won't be satisfying for reasons that completely elude the player's will or skill. On the other hand, if you really dedicate yourself to mastering the mechanics, and especially if you have a team of friends to cooperate with, the experience will be absolutely unique. Shame for the lack of starting content, which will require further cash to enrich the lasting appeal.- Everyeye.it

Among Us VR is a well-crafted game that is fun in company and, at times, capable of generating tension. The underlying experience remains almost the same as the title for smartphones, tablets, consoles and PCs, but it has mini-games designed specifically for virtual reality, trivial but effective. Experiencing the investigations in space with a helmet constitutes an encounter with the countless memes seen from 2020 to today, and perhaps this is the factor that will initially drive the VR version of the game, which in all probability will continue to ensnare only the community of aficionados.- Everyeye.it

Dirt 5 wants to be an immediate racing game, accessible and devoted to pure fun, at the cost of sacrificing a realistic driving system and embracing a physics that is at times hyperbolic and saucy. Racing or rally purists be warned: here they will find "only" a lot of mud, drifting and collisions in abundance, with almost no room for lap times and technicalities. Too bad for a fluctuating technical sector lacking in terms of optimization on consoles.- Everyeye.it
