A hardcore platformer that thrives on contrasts: the choice of proposing a fairy-tale world clashes with a playful formula of an unusual cruelty, where the lesson of masterpieces like Super Meat Boy clearly echoes.

Lost in Play is a point and click adventure made with irreverent non-sense comedy, of intuitive puzzles and puzzles that are not particularly stimulating, but layered enough to make you spend a handful of hours of fun. The most enjoyable stages are the mini-challenges, which will challenge you with some of the most unique and challenging puzzles. While not representing the pinnacle of the genre, however, the title of Happy Juice Games is an intriguing and ironic dip into creativity and imagination, an interactive cartoon for lovers of the most bizarre and grungy animated comedies.

Netherrealm Studios and Warner Bros Games have done a great job, certainly higher than the old Kombat Packs, but once again the price is not exactly affordable.

The great screenplay is overruled by clumsy and repetitious gameplay. The thrill is there, but too many flaws in the core experience make it a solely discreet game.

The two remasters are done pretty well, they work and do not upset some or all of the originals, but the return of games like these had to be accompanied in another way: with extras, interviews, documentation that would help in a fun and informative way to understand what for many years, among other things, was the most expensive game ever, a big commercial flop, and one of the most fundamental titles for the modern videogame.

The rebirth of *Screamer*—in the form of a futuristic, cyberpunk-themed arcade racer set in the distant future—has truly won us over, delivering some of the most carefree hours we’ve spent with racing games in recent years. Its enjoyable handling model, lengthy Story mode populated by memorable characters (though, admittedly, this mode suffers from a few structural and pacing issues), and inspired art direction make it a highly recommendable title for any fan of the genre, regardless of their prior experience. It is a game born of an old-school development philosophy—one that has been modernized and made appealing once again to an incredibly diverse audience. While a few issues persist regarding track design and certain mechanics that feel less polished than others, by and large, this marks another bullseye for the Milan-based studio.

Unlike some other "busty" games (Senran Kagura Burst anyone?), Demon Gaze is not just fan service. It is, instead, a solid dungeon crawler; not as good as Etrian Odyssey, but perfect for those who remember Wizardry and want to re-discover an old-school RPG.

The basics are indeed simple to understand, but digging into the gameplay you'll find deep and interesting mechanics. It's a shame that some of the missions are really too easy to complete, and the lack of an online 1vs1 mode is indeed unforgivable, but it's still an interesting strategic experience on Wii U.

Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is not a simple side adventure. It has managed to take the right gameplay elements from Infinite Wealth, and then give a healthy refresh to the package with the effective navigation component, between exploration, battles at sea and brawls based on two valid fighting styles. The various pieces of the secondary offer support what is a valid progression system, which encourages the player to have a lot of fun and discover everything the world has to offer. In other words, whether you are a veteran of the series or a newbie, in terms of gameplay the game has what it takes to entertain you for dozens of hours, but there is a rule. You have to keep your brain strictly turned off, because when you turn it on during the plot, the "all you can eat" effect appears: big laughs and abundance, but little substance.

As in the case of the previous DLC, we are not talking about a particularly generous product in terms of novelty but, among a handful of brand new Yokai, an additional challenge level, new equipment and an unprecedented weapon, we are pretty sure that fans of the he epic "hardcore" of Team Ninja will not struggle to find in the content an excellent incentive to continue to accumulate Amrita.

From time to time there is the awareness that the sequel is the most classic of "more of the same", but we do not see why this expression should be used with a negative connotation, when the starting plate was basically liked by everyone.

All things considered, Avowed is an Action RPG with all the trimmings enhanced by high-quality writing, as well as a solid gameplay recipe and an artistic direction worthy of praise. The gaming experience is not yet at an optimal level of polish, the combat system is not lacking in slightly anachronistic traits and we did not fully appreciate some structural characteristics of the adventure. Yet, Obsidian's title manages to capture the player with a fascinating and cohesive universe, and if you are a fan of the genre or are looking for a journey capable of transporting you to a fantasy world of rare beauty, you may have just found bread for your teeth.

Metroid Dread is an experience that is at times deeply enjoyable and yet imperfect at the same time. MercurySteam certainly did not lack the courage to take risks, proposing new ideas, exceptional dynamism and surprising horror veins: elements that fit coherently within a winning formula, tested over the last thirty-five years. A few too many smudges - probably the result of a production not up to the height of Nintendo's heavyweights - however, end up making the whole thing miss: with some extra ideas, less repetition and a little more character in artistic terms, the result could have been be different and even more rounded. However, it is always fascinating to find Samus on our screens, in a franchise that deserves more than it usually gets (starting with the Big N).

Ku's exploits clearly do not have the narrative balance of the Greek adventures, and do not add big variations to the gameplay formula, but they prove to be a solid and pleasant extension, a digression inside a very suggestive myth that deserves to be fully explored, waiting for the release of The Lost Gods, the last act of the Season Pass ready to lead us back to Ancient Greece.

Given its very condensed duration it remains difficult to recommend the purchase at full price (The End of Zoe costs about fifteen euros), but if you already have the season pass download it without delay: think of it as a little extra that Capcom has granted more fans convinced of the seventh Biohazard.

An adventure that combines the typical gameplay dynamics of the genre with an intriguing narrative component, characterized by a slightly evanescent ending, which is aimed above all for lovers of short stories without rigid and well-defined boundaries.
