Where Winds Meet is a decidedly atypical free-to-play game, which, unlike many of its counterparts, has embraced a philosophy devoid of any pay-to-win mechanics. Not only does this system work, but it is also supported by a combat system and exploration that do their job well and are enjoyable, regardless of whether you decide to play alone or with other users. The only real flaw in this production remains the menus, whose complexity is excessive and could discourage many players who, without this kind of defect, could enjoy the wuxia adventure much more.

Nintendo Switch Sports promises roughly what you imagine: giving some surprises in some cases, making a thread turn up your nose for its abstruse narrowness in some others, but in general confirming itself at 360 °. All in all, however, one thought can be affirmed with certainty: if you had enjoyed yourself a dozen years ago, you will return to do so even today. Perhaps even with more taste than expected, because at the base of this collection of mini-games there are intriguing and much less trivial gameplay solutions than it seems, however, packaged in an excellent package to look at and listen to. If, on the other hand, this weird all-motion control madness wasn't your thing then, it will be nearly impossible to somehow make you change your mind today.

It's a bold move from IO Interactive. It inherits some of the mechanics of its predecessor, but it grows as a pure sandbox, and the fans of old will love that. The episodic formula is still to be tested, but this first chapter is quite encouraging.

If you've played World of Tanks and Warplanes you already know the drill. On the other hand, ships controls are interesting to master, and the slow-paced gameplay is good for a change.

What is perplexing, if anything, is the selling price of the add-ons, frankly exaggerated for a bunch of content that is anything but something really special.

Onde is a different puzzle platform, one of those video games capable of capturing the player's attention for three hours and projecting it into his two-dimensional world. His genius lies in the flawless management of his single mechanic, which is gradually overturned and transformed to make the game more and more satisfying. Onde is a journey into the eternal cycle of life and death in the universe, a journey to be made by surfing on waves of light while being lulled by its splendid soundtrack.

Scoregasm is a good shmup with an oustanding control system and a fantastic level design. If you own a joypad and you are not interested in great longevity or graphics, then purchase it without any doubt.

This Director’s Cut is able to perfect the already excellent Tequila Works game, by adding a series of graphic effects that can fit the current console standards. New lights, new animations make the zombie world more “lively”, and oppressive. Gameplay and storyline remain unchanged, excepted from the new Survival Mode, which cannot stand against a very limited longevity though. Nevertheless, Deadlight is a game not to be missed.

Pride Run deserves the attention of the public because it is proposed not so much as a simple political product, but as a complete videogame work, capable of making us live an interactive experience in an interesting, provocative and different way.

REPLACED is a feast for the eyes and ears. The world crafted by Sad Cat Studios is vibrant and magnetic—a place where getting lost amidst the details and references is a constant delight. However, the gameplay is not without its uncertainties. The platforming sections are generally well-designed but occasionally suffer from spikes of excessive difficulty. The same applies to the combat, which, over time, suffers from a lack of variety and a difficulty level that sometimes feels artificial. The result is a solid and effective experience, though one in which the visual quality ultimately stands out above the rest.

Game Freaks is a talented team, and you can see it every time they try something new. After a while, the game gets repetitive, and it could've used some more variety in content, but it's still really fun to play, and sometimes compelling too.

Arcadegeddon does not aspire to the replayability of The Binding of Isaac and does not flaunt the productive values of Returnal, but in its small way it succeeds very well in its intent: to create a roguelite characterized by an important arcade component, a fun cooperative mode and a structure different from all. his most distinguished colleagues. Sure, after all this time in Early Access we would have liked a little more refinement, but even with his minor flaws Arcadegeddon manages to entertain hours and hours.

The night of the monsters may therefore not be the shocking event that we all expected, especially after the achievements of Lacrimosa of Dana, but a good story and the tested gameplay of the series, here embellished with a handful of new mechanics and above all by the Gifts of the Monster, which among other things greatly lighten the exploratory phases, still make it a delightful action RPG.

Circuit Superstars is not a masterpiece but it is a game that has a certain charm. The fleet is truly impressive, the driving system is surprisingly demanding, the graphic style is pleasant, the local multiplayer is hilarious: what's missing? A little bit of variety. After a couple of hours of play the initial enthusiasm drops as well as the replayability factor. We would need new game modes and an AI capable of livening up single player races, as well as a few more options for online multiplayer. The game is sold at a budget price (20 euros): in company it is absolutely worth the purchase.

From the Ashes is, in some ways, what Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora should and could have been. Ubisoft's expansion is hands down the best content available for the game, thanks to a more interesting protagonist, a more engaging story, and significantly more refined and enjoyable gameplay. If you already enjoyed the initial adventure or want to experience something as close as possible to "Fire and Ashes," we highly recommend playing this DLC.

Despite being weighed down by a certain repetitiveness (accentuated by the need to repeat the missions several times to scrape together parts of equipment and credits) and although it has some technical limitations, Daemon X Machina represents a respectable exponent of the mech games, able to satisfy the hunger for fans of robottoni and blows.

Although it is legitimate not to sympathize with Metal Gear Survive, in short, those who decide to approach the title with an open mind will find a more than discrete survival, which could even improve in the event the support post-launch is decisive and convincing.
