Extremely derivative on a playful level and technically insufficient even by the standards of the last generation (and beyond), Dolmen is an experiment that was only minimally successful. While we liked the Lovecraftian atmosphere and the constant sense of danger that permeates the entire production, everything else should be rethought at the root. The inclusion of firearms could really add something new to the genre, but nefarious management of the energy bar ended up compromising the effectiveness of gun-play as well. Although the title is offered at the modest sum of € 39.99, at present there is no valid reason why RPG enthusiasts should prefer it to the much more inspired and deserving soulslike ones that have invaded the market in recent weeks.

The "claymation" is stunning, and gameplay wise it might not be as brilliant, but it can still deliver some hours of good fun.

Breach isn't a complete disaster. Despite many flaws and limits, many of them linked to the netcode, it reaches a narrow sufficiency thanks to a good character growth system and a gameplay that does not forget the standards of this genre.

Michael Jackson The Experience is probably the weakest title in the Vita lineup. It appears a desperate effort from Ubisoft to ride the wave of Michael's post mortem popularity, giving players a bad porting of the console version.

FIFA 13 on PsVita is the same as its predecessor too. Nevertheless it is the best portable football simulation ever published. Strongly recommended, but only if you don't have FIFA Football.

Except for the possibility of wandering around Westeros and meeting some prominent personalities of the continent, Game of Thrones Kingsroad is a title with mediocre gameplay and a not very virtuous monetization system, which pushes the player to spend more and more in order to advance and obtain advantages that are otherwise inaccessible. Unless you are a die-hard fan of the series, there are very few reasons to even try the production signed by NetMarble, given that the market is full of much more valid alternatives.

Army Corps of Hell is full of intresting ideas. Some issues on the gameplay side and the repetitive structure prevent players from having fun from the beginning to the end.

Men of War Condemned Heroes tells the story of the penal battalions during World War II. The single player is really difficult, but fun and deep. A good game for all lovers of good strategy!

A challenging action game, that requires an excellent mastery of its simple control scheme. A roguelike experience interesting on the short run, but too tedious and boring to grant a sufficient replay value. The charming cyberpunk style is not enough to overcome these issues.

Bizarre and difficult to place, Knock Knock is a vague adventure, with an almost intangible and rather monotonous gameplay; however, behind these assumptions you can still find a path that can accompany the player to the discovery of a star, a story to tell and multi-faceted concept.

Unlike the first chapter, Lovecraft's Untold Stories 2 does not hit the mark, but in contrast it represents a clear step back in many respects. Its only real strength is represented by the artistic direction, which, abandoning the pixel art of the progenitor, preferred to adopt a cleaner design inspired by comic books. Overall, the title turned out to be somewhat unsatisfactory: once the adventure began, you are immediately catapulted into history without a real guide, while the combat system appears slow and clumsy, also due to woody animations. To this already unfortunate situation must be added some rather unbalanced enemies, numerous bugs that compromise the experience, an isometric view that sometimes makes you turn up your nose and, last but not least, the unexpected removal of the cooperative mode promised to the public during the development. At present, Lovecraft's Untold Stories 2 appears to be far from being able to be a playable experience that can be promoted.

There's a great way to enjoy the video game version of Blood Bowl: buy the second chapter, which sadly surpasses its successor in every possible way. Blood Bowl 3 manages to give some satisfaction in multiplayer mode but in general we are talking about an unstable experience, plagued by significant bugs and equipped with a single player component that we just can't recommend to fans of the series.

Due to the IP on which it is based, Mighty Doom could attract loyal fans for some hit and run sessions, even capable of genuinely entertaining. As sometimes happens in the mobile dimension, however, at a certain point in the Slayer's death campaign, production limits also begin to emerge, linked to the low drop rate of equipment and excessive randomness in the generation of perks, which we remember to be very important for continuing the journey.

MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death is evidence that Compile Heart and Idea Factory can make mistakes too. In recent years, the two Japanese companies produced a long series of little titles, innovative and exquisitely witty. The new product has only touched the target, showing many flaws in the most important aspects of the structure and gameplay.
