There's that fetish element that seems like a luring detail, shining on the box to raise debate and stir appetites. If you look deep enough, though, you'll find a dungeon crawler worthy of some of your time and attention.

Yar's Revenge has nothing that doesn't work. It's simply a videogame that offers too little.

Compared to the disastrous MX vs ATV: All Out, Rainbow Studios has taken not one but two steps forward. MX vs ATV Legends is surprisingly fun and has a good amount of content. At present, however, it needs a substantial finishing work. ATVs are capable of giving great satisfaction, while AI steals more than a laugh with its surreal performances. The Rainbow Studios game is plagued by bugs and various problems but has big room for improvement: if the development team manages to fix all the flaws in the coming months, MX vs ATV Legends could become a good title.

This second and final act shows way less care for details if compared to its predecessor, and it's a true shame.

The repetitiveness of the quests, the terrible management of the camera and the excessive imbalance of the tenzoni are sins that we can hardly forgive.

Short but intense, it's a perfect product for psychological horror fans, but everyone else might find it a little too light on the gameplay side.

It seems like an episodic game, but it isn't. Everything, from gameplay to narrative, feels like setting ground for something to come. Let's hope it does.

Despite a rather slow start and a "Dark Souls-like" combat system that also disappoints on the distance, the post-apocalyptic journey of Black Forest Games, at the crossroads between the action-adventure and the management, demonstrates qualities that could be tempting to lovers of the tough and uncompromising challenge.

Darkout echoes the philosophy of Terraria putting everything in a darker and intriguing setting. The work in progress nature, unfortunately, does not allow him to make the leap.

Saint Seya Brave Soldiers is definitely not a step further in comparison with Sanctuary Battle. Gameplay is still plain and not much varied, and game modes aren't attractive at all. A game just for enthusiasts.

The new Homefront does not excel in any field, carrying the wounds of a troubled development. The gameplay is too rough, the AI unrefined, the campaign very short (unless you get involved in the tedious subquests). The biggest fault of The Revolution, though, is the decision to re-write the setting, trivializing the impressive work that John Milius did for the first chapter.

Moebius is one of the worst games written by Jane Jensen. Too many bugs and some major plot holes are there to destroy the few good aspects of this adventure.

The first polygonal trilogy of GTA is back on the shelves with a definitive edition that struggles to hide the results of a gestation that is perhaps all too fast, a matrix of remasters that would undoubtedly have deserved greater attention in the polishing phase. Although the three titles in the package showcase valuable technical interventions, as well as a good assortment of playful revisions, the result of the modernization process put in place by Grove Street Games stops at sufficiency. This is because the collection shows qualitative fluctuations on almost all fronts, which in some cases significantly affect the enjoyment of the experience. However, the new version of the GTA Trilogy proves to be able to offer fans hours and hours of nostalgic "juggling", as long as they are able to overlook the obvious rough edges in the offer.

Even if it has a great number of interesting game modes, Backbreaker simply does not work. The gameplay has some interesting ideas, but most of them are not appropriately used, while the graphical engine is barely sufficient.

The Tomorrow Children has a good amount of content, its gameplay works, and succeeds in the difficult task of getting players to work together in a way that goes far beyond any other game I've ever tried. The trouble is the repetitive nature of the overall formula.

In short, some easy scares and a fair amount of blood and offal on the screen are not enough to recommend a title that has little to offer even the most hardcore fans of a formula that perhaps, at this point, deserves some kind of revision.
