Ravenbound is clear proof that having a good idea isn't enough to make a successful video game. While offering a decent combat system, the Systemic Reaction title is plagued by a number of hitches that cannot be overlooked. The presence of an open and freely explorable world has turned out to be a double-edged sword for production, given the low concentration of points of interest that makes moving around boring. Equally problematic are the camera and some enemy behaviors, which negatively affect what is good in the combat system. In short, just like in our first contact with the game, the feeling we had was that the product was not ready to debut on the shelves and still needed more or less marked interventions.

Blind Fate: Edo no Yami stems from an intriguing concept that reworks mythology and folklore of feudal Japan to transport them into a dystopian future populated by bloodthirsty machines. Its blind protagonist is a truly remarkable gimmick, especially once placed in such a context. That said, in the field of game design there are too many problems overlapping one another, starting from the cumbersome controls and the perceptible input lag, up to an imperfect management of the checkpoints and the absence of explanations on the very functioning of fundamental mechanics. It's really a shame, because the art direction is certainly as good as the soundtrack.

Sacred 2 Remaster is a preservation effort, rather than a modernization. Longtime fans will benefit, finally being able to explore the world of Ancaria again on next-gen systems. Beyond that, however, the remaster doesn't introduce any significant improvements that would encourage a purchase outright. It remains a piece of gaming history that's refreshing to see brought to new generations. But nostalgia aside—and despite the budget price—it's undeniable that fans of the genre can now find significantly more satisfying experiences for the same money.

LEGO Lord of the Rings is not a bad game. Unfortunately the conversion for PS Vita has many flaws. If possible it is best to opt for the version for Xbox 360 and PS3.

It's a shame that Sonic has to speed down to attack his enemies during the run through wonderful Camelot-inspired backgrounds. The game looks fantastic, sound great, and when we are allowed to run fast, dodging obstacles or jumping on the head of our enemies it also plays very well. But too often we are forced to stop our run to fight the enemies, in a simplistic hack&slash structure that tone down the overall impression that the game leaves to the gamers.

Jurassic Park: The Game is recommend only to fans of the original film: they will appreciate the quotes and the plot. But they will also see old graphics, a poor gameplay and a shallow work in general.

Yoostar 2 is certainly a good game for its genre. Thanks also to the lack of real competitors, the title is definitely recommended for all cinema's lovers and actors missed. The game isn't without flaws, but with the right friends it'll make a fun evening.

Compared to Astrobot, which was effectively a small game with great gaming value, Switch 2's Welcome Tour is a strange hybrid that constantly oscillates between fun, interesting and boring, without ever finding a stable position. Would it have been better if they had given it away? Definitely. Is the price an insurmountable obstacle compared to the value of the product? Not really, 10 euros is a more or less acceptable compromise for a product that is well-crafted in detail, at times fun, but very limited, with the small merit of bringing a pinch of innovation to this strange software launch of Switch 2.

Among real disasters and really interesting ideas Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel is exactly what was expected. We face the usual Army of Two, dedicated to less demanding gamers.

The sound ideas are still there, but the slow progression rate (clearly pushing players to open their wallets) ultimately spoils the fun.

Legacy of Kain: Ascendance is a project defined by contradictions: ambitious in vision, inconsistent in execution. The lore is expanded with genuine generosity, the return of the original voice cast is a gift that certainly should not have been taken for granted, and the concept of exploring the era of the Imperial Kain through four distinct perspectives remains—from a narrative standpoint—the most compelling direction the series could have taken with a project of this scope. Fans of the mythology will find material well worth the wait. Yet the game built around it is imprecise where it ought to be surgical, sluggish where it strives to be dynamic, and visually uneven in ways that simply cannot be ignored. Those approaching the saga for the first time may find its standing relative to the genre's finest examples to be anything but favorable. Those returning—having grown up with Kain and Raziel and long dreamed of a new chapter in the saga—must first come to terms with the shift in genre, and there is no guarantee they will be willing to do so. Ascendance marks a step in the right direction; however, truly restoring Nosgoth to the greatness it deserves will require far more decisive strides. The future of the series remains entirely unwritten. This title merely hints at that potential, without fully proving it.

Net of a fairly interesting story capable of offering some interesting narrative crossroads, the first work of GoldKnights did not fully convince us. The main problems lie in the gameplay of The Last Oricru: the combat system is cumbersome and not always perfectly responsive, a situation further aggravated by significant drops in frame rates. Exploration, on the other hand, suffers from scenarios that tend to repeat themselves and confuse those who pass through them. Basically we are talking about a missed opportunity, which we hope will give the team some important lessons in view of future productions.

The landing of Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise on PC is designed to offer fans of the first chapter the opportunity to take on the role of Francis York Morgan for the second time, thus experiencing his singular and story without necessarily buying a Nintendo Switch. Swery still strikes with his eccentricity but his team failed to resolve numerous problems two years after the original launch. The result is a game that remains undermined by numerous flaws, a lifeless setting and characters characterized by poor models and animations. Only those who have appreciated the events of Greenvale will perhaps be able to accept these compromises to discover a less engaging story than that of the previous chapter but necessary in order to close the circle.

Everybody 1-2 Switch is a simple, immediate party game that does not claim to overly engage the players, designed to spend a few hours in the company of friends or to spice up family lunches and dinners. However, the product is aimed at a purely casual audience and - in terms of stratification of the proposal and gameplay - fails to reach the qualitative peaks of other exponents of the segment such as Mario Party. The risk of being dusted off only for special occasions, just like that boardgame that we like so much but never play, is just around the corner. The competitive price, however, is a point in its favor.

A Valley Without Wind is an interesting product, mainly due to its exploration component and rpg elements. However, parts of the ideas are lost in the repetitive action and in the procedural nature of the project, not supported by a consistent narrative background. On top of that, a bad control system undermines this interesting game.
