Feb 27, 2012The game sounds fantastic using just the built-in Vita speakers but when you put on a nice pair of headphones or even jack your Vita into some external speakers prepare to be amazed with some stellar sound quality. Yes, 15 songs is extremely limited, giving you about 100 minutes of original gameplay content, but when you factor in the three difficulty modes – the hardest being very hard – plus the very nature of the game design that encourages you to do better to unlock stuff and climb the leaderboards, this is one game that music fans, especially Michael Jackson fans, need to check out. It might not be a day-one or a full-price purchase, you somewhere down the road this needs to be in your Vita library.

Mar 5, 2012You'll dislike the approach Ubisoft took to the presentation of Michael Jackson in the title, as well as the paltry number of songs on offer, but look past these issues and this is a great rhythm-action title that makes smart use of the Vita's touchscreen.

Mar 5, 2012Though Ubisoft's attempt with Michael Jackson The Experience is an admirable one, the game just doesn't have enough legs. Even without factoring in the $40 price of entry, the lack of content and replayability really hurts the overall product.

Feb 14, 2012While this is visually the best looking Michael Jackson game ever, we find it difficult to recommend this title to anyone but the most rabid of fans, unless there's a promise to deliver DLC in the future. Fifteen tracks does not a King make.
-
Feb 20, 2012Although fun, the gameplay of Michael Jackson: The Experience HD is very short, limited and lacks depth. Only the most enthusiastic fans of the King of The Pop will appreciate it.
-
Mar 20, 2012Michael Jackson The Experience HD would only appeal to hardcore fans of his music, and even then the short lifespan of the game won't guarantee a memorable experience anyway.

PSM3 Magazine UKMar 22, 2012You'd get better interactivity in general from buying his Greatest Hits album and tapping your foot. [Apr 2012, p.109]
