Sinner is totally anonymous from the point of view of the lore and "is inspired" excessively to the design of the most famous bosses of the soulsborne saga.- Everyeye.it

A short adventure that looks at the past of the series due to its playful structure: effective yes, but too small to be fully incisive.- Everyeye.it

The result is a slightly flat look, which makes it difficult to welcome Capcom's work enthusiastically. Recommended only to those who had missed the old releases.- Everyeye.it

This New Island of Yoshi isn't as beautiful as the first one we explored in 1995. The gameplay mechanics are just the same, but the level design is quite customary.- Everyeye.it

As often happens with first works, Lost Soul Aside was the victim of its creator's unbridled ambitions and the vast inexperience of the team that supported him during development. Eleven years ago, the project, spearheaded by Yang Bing alone, seemed simply incredible, but today—especially with the latest generational leap and the advent of titles like Black Myth: Wukong—the magic of Lost Soul Aside has faded, becoming a sort of standard. The title is based on a frenetic, robust, and satisfying combat system unlike any other, but this alone cannot offset the numerous problems that plague all other aspects of Chinese production, nor does it justify the high entry price set by Sony this time around. Faced with a market now saturated with souls-like games and increasingly less diverse, fans of more traditional action RPGs and hack'n'slash games might still give it a chance.- Everyeye.it

Tides of Tomorrow attempts to depict a world suffocated by plastic—crafting a fascinating setting rich in thematic potential—yet ultimately treats the subject with the same superficiality with which, outside the screen, we have learned to coexist with it. All the right ingredients are there: the ambition to confront the player with the moral consequences of their actions, bolstered by a brilliant concept like the "Story-Link," which strives to weave players' choices together within a shared dimension. The problem, however, is that this very ambition struggles to translate into something truly impactful. The numerous choices rarely carry the weight they should, and the saccharine writing style ends up excessively dampening the tone. Tides of Tomorrow offers glimpses of something immense lurking beneath the surface, yet never quite manages to bring it to light.- Everyeye.it

It's ironic how a product called "Unbound" is, in contrast, still so harnessed by the canons of traditional open world racing games, resulting all too similar to its direct predecessor. Need For Speed Unbound is a solid title overall , provided, however, that you approach it without too many pretensions. Net of some structural problems that can make you turn up your nose, the game manages to entertain, thanks to a deep customization of the vehicles and a multiplayer that works properly. The original sin, however, lies in the wanting to insist on a slightly lazy playful formula. production that unfortunately does not deviate from the trend that starts from Burnout Paradise and links all the Need For Speed released in the last decade, son of a repeated life a little indolent. There is therefore a need for Electronic Arts to get back on track and engage the turbo as soon as possible, if it wants to return to excel in the panorama of arcade driving games.- Everyeye.it

Rush of Blood is a simple on-rail shooter. It is an interesting introduction to virtual reality, but nothing more. The (few) hours spent with it, however, are sufficiently scary and entertaining.- Everyeye.it

Although inspired on the artistic level, the debut title of Redlock Studio suffers from a still immature technical realization, which particularly affects the combat system. Soulslike with more than appreciable platform contaminations, Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King can therefore only represent an opportunity for improvement for the French team, which, however, deserves credit for having created a suggestive world with a very well written story.- Everyeye.it

Playing The Sinking City on Nintendo Switch means going down to some compromises more than the PS4 and Xbox One edition: a couple of exclusive features, not very significant for the general experience, are not enough to compensate for a gameplay still too raw by current standards.- Everyeye.it

The idea of soulslike ready to approach dystopian science fiction was not only intriguing, but potentially winning. The incipit of The Surge clearly shows a great potential: despite some flows in the combat and growth systems, the game still manages to capture the player, awaken his curiosity. Unfortunately, too much of this potential is lost, due to a bad level design, poorly inspired environments, and a distressing lack of contents.- Everyeye.it

In the end, the four episodes speak of two different experiences. Barry's campaign has its moments, but Moira's is always trying to keep up, with small success. It's still a Resident Evil experience that might please some of the fanbase (and not even the most nostalgic part, because of the almost action gameplay), but not a great return for the historic saga.- Everyeye.it

Unfortunately, Serial Cleaners is not as striking as its predecessor: the adventures of Mr. Bob and his company of Cleaners attract the player more with a deep story and narrative branches to discover, all with a pleasant jazz accompaniment and a peculiar aesthetic rendering but from the fluctuating effectiveness. The simple and arcade gameplay is ideal for those who want to approach stealth and better frame the genre, and it is satisfying overall. Artificial intelligence is the Achilles' heel of the entire experience and its shortcomings have not allowed the potential of the playful offer to be fully expressed. If we add to this the lack of replayability, the criticalities of the product become even more evident.- Everyeye.it

South Park Snow Day tries to once again change the reference genre of the franchise by moving towards the rogue-like: the cyclical setting, however, is undermined by an underlying repetitiveness and runs with little content and an overly confusing battle system. Also slapped in the face by a technical sector not up to the requirements, the winning ideas are not many and they are all linked to a narrative in line with the series. Fans of the South Park universe will have something to enjoy, especially thanks to the selling price of Snow Day (29.99 euros), but after The Stick of Truth and Scontri Di Recti it was reasonable to expect something more.- Everyeye.it
