Halcyon 6 is an interesting mix of many genres that succeeds in creating an interesting setting and a fun gameplay but fails to keep it up for an acceptable amount of hours.

The Munchables is a lovely game with a few problems. Ideal for casual gamers and for everyone looking for an easy videogame. Too short and simple, but with a cool style and an extraordinary spirit. May the poo be with you!

Asura's Wrath is an interesting experiment with huge balancing issues. This cool anime-style action game is too story-oriented, with tons of animated sections and just a little bit of gameplay. This could be a good starting point for CyberConnect2's future projects, but next time the developers should aim for a more balanced experience.

ScreamRide is not a perfect game but it’s fun and loaded with 3 different campaigns, 50 levels and a sandbox mode where you can build and share the roller coasters of your dreams. Don’t miss it if you’ve loved RollerCoaster Tycoon series.

Miitopia arrives on Nintendo Switch in a new and updated version with some improvements. Unfortunately, it suffers from old and repetitive mechanics, which can be easily boring as the 3DS title.

A solid and entertaining arcade racing game, with a monstrous tracks editor and a good amount of content… but please, don't call it Ridge Racer!

The last creature of Hidetaka "Swery" Suehiro keeps its promises only partially, offering unacceptable graphics, a survival horror game that doesn't scare at all and not so brilliant mechanics. Nonetheless, there's something invisible, an empathic link making the whole thing an oiled mechanism. Survive to the first 20 minutes, and you'll never forget your stay in Greendale.

Dice Legacy is a new, solid chapter in the history of survival RTS. It is very original and combines the gameplay of a city builder with the use of dices and a ring-world setting. If you are looking for an RTS with a good dose of challenge and mystery, this one is for you.

Although the game has its merits, like an impressive environmental destruction, Volition's choice to turn the title into a pure third person shooter doesn't seem to have paid off the way it should have. A poor narrative and an excessive linearity are in fact two flaws that can hardly be ignored.

Crackdown 2 is a huge deja-vu. The game looks too much similar to the first episode, and Ruffian Games did really few things to grant a fresh experience. Anyway, exploring Pacific City is both fun and interesting, and if you've never played the first Crackdown, you definitely must try this game.

One of the most divisive chapters in the Resident Evil saga arrives on the Nintendo Switch, for the first time playable as a portable game. An enjoyable more of the same with some annoying issues.

Crossing Souls is a tribute to an entire era and for this reason only some players will adore Fourattic's work. It has plenty of clever references and a wonderful pixel art but the plot fall flat too many times and the gameplay doesn't shine despite a lot of variety. Nostalgic players will love this game; the others not so much.

Starship Troopers Terran Command fits nicely in the ever growing RTS family. It does what is supposed to do, without daring too much. The franchise based on the namesake movie is respected perfectly and fans will be happy.

I Am Setsuna is a huge throwback onto 90’s classic jRPGs, and it’s clearly and loudly inspired by Chrono Trigger. The battle system is deep and satisfying, the soundtrack is great and the storyline is interesting even if a little bit predictable. There are some frustrations in the farming system and loot crates. Furthermore, budget limits are evident in the environments and enemy patterns.

FIFA World Cup 2010 is a good arcade soccer game. If you're looking for a deep simulation, try something else, but if you want to just finish a match with incredible scores and using fantastic tricks, this is your soccer game.

Liberation is 100% Assassin's Creed. After the "faux pas" of Bloodlines (PSP) and iOS titles, Ubisoft scores a prefect strike with this PS Vita spin-off, with deep gameplay and stunning graphics. After Uncharted Golden Abyss, Liberation could be one of the most interesting titles in Sony's handheld history so far.

This Apocalypse Edition is the exact same game that we played one year ago on Xbox One: dismembering zombies is certainly entertaining, but on the long run even that can bore you. The game comes with support to a full HD resolution, but frame rate issues are still there, and the technical requests are inexplicably high.

SEGA Rally Online Arcade is a nice arcade racing that exploits the "nostalgia factor": colors, musics, tracks and cars are perfect for every SEGA Rally fan. The lack of 60 fps and some issues with the online are the biggest problems of this really good game.

EyePet is a product that, despite the undoubted potentialities of the concept and the technology used, is not as entertaining as it could have been, due to the lack of real challenges that, on the long run, make the game tedious and not so stimulating. If only Sony would have dared more, widening the concept of the game, the final score would have been much different.

Code Vein is the anime-style Dark Souls we've been waiting for. A game that is not perfect, but that will make the lovers of anime and Souls very happy.

Considering its excellent co-op and solid singleplayer experiences, All 4 One proves to be one of the best platforms of this generation. Too bad for the lack of a little innovation - it might have meant a significant boost in its final score.

Just Dance 3 on Xbox 360 is pure fun. With such an experience is useless to think about lag and precision, cause the entire game has been built around one only element: having fun with your friends.

Darksiders III is what a Darksiders title should be, even with its flaws. The improved gameplay and the astonishing level design make the game worth playing, even if the main story will not be remembered as one of the best in the franchise.

An interesting setting, good puzzles and peculiar art style make Dead Synchronicity a worthwhile adventure both for veterans and newbies of the genre.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York is an entertaining visual novel with a good style but few real choices.

Old-school run 'n' gun games are still enjoyable but Turrican's fan must be warned that this compilation is not the best you they can get nowadays.

Some technology issues and a few uncertain design choices, many of which were already in Little King's Story, weigh a bit in last Konami's IP. But after all, New Little King's Story is deep in its mechanics, nice and very long. Merging an RPG with a RTS isn't easy, but the final result is commendable. Hail to the Little King!

"Tycoon world" rises again with Cities in Motion! The necessity of building a prefect transportation system brings us new forms of entertainment that partially suffer the lack of a multiplayer/sharing mode.

Sorcery could have been a good game to prove that motion controlled gaming still has a chance; unfortunately, Santa Monica Studios has chosen to use PlayStation Move just as an alternative to a button to mash furiously to cast spells. Not exactly what we were expecting.

Charming multi-dimensional gameplay and lovely art style... but feels like something not finished.

Zombie Army Trilogy is a pretty decent third-person horror shooter, terrible but enjoyable at the same time if you have friends to share with.

A simple and Mine-crafted take on the dungeon crawler genre. Very simple. Maybe too simple, but quite enjoyable particularly in coop.

The Collider 2 is a fast-paced arcade game where you have to launch yourself in a suicide mission, piloting a fleet of Starfighters to destroy an alien mothership from the inside, avoiding collisions, collecting artifacts and destroying key targets. The game is easy to pick up but very challenging to master. It features a mission mode with 54 levels and 6 airships to unlock, and a survival mode with online ladders to compete with friends and players from around the world. Oculus Rift and HTC Vive VR headsets are also supported. The game offers intense and thrilling action. Racing arcade fans and players in search for hard challenges will love it.

Finally we have a Burnout spiritual successor. The sense of speed is huge and the nostalgic feelings are very strong. And even if it is not a perfect game and there are some flaws, every Burnout fan should seriously buy this game and will surely have a great time.

Although this add-on surely deserves attention from any fan of the franchise thanks to its enriched gameplay experience, some gamers might not find it worthy of a further investment.

Fe is an emotional experience, a game made to open the eyes of players on the tragedy that is consuming in the hearth of the forest. You will not find deep gameplay or mechanics never seen before, but the stunning art direction could be enough to amaze you.

Iris. Fall is an indie game that offers a good variety of puzzles and a design that hits the mark. Its communicative power is demonstrated by an intriguing story told without a single line of dialogue, matched with an effective soundtrack.

Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi possesses many good qualities. Its extreme complexity makes it a top notch historic sim for every veteran but, on the other hand, results being inaccessible to all newcomers. Those who will invest their bodies and souls in Koei Tecmo’s new title will get a highly satisfying experience: if you’re not among these brave players, it would better to try something less demanding.

Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars is a good strategy game with very limited ambitions. It could suit strategy newbies or players not willing to invest much in a strategy experience. For sophisticated strategy players the market has many more interesting propositions.

Ronin is a fun and entertaining game for most of its duration. Unfortunately it stops too early to introduce new difficulties and enemies.

Virtual Rick-ality can be recommended almost exclusively to fans of the original series, since those who have never approached it or are looking for a more adventurous experience, will not struggle to find better alternatives in the now rather large fleet of titles for PlayStation VR .

No Straight Roads is a visually charming rhythm-action game that slips on its (sometimes) confusing gameplay ideas and lands on the slightly-above-average level.

One of the most beloved Dreamcast franchises returns with fancy new HD graphics, the original OST and all the charm of its original gameplay. There are some problems with the audio balance and some stuttering when played from a fragmented hard drive, but although not perfect (and it has never been) this game is still a masterpiece.

Beyond a Steel Sky is an excellent adventure game with a well-made narrative and a very inspired art direction.

Despite excellent graphics, Wild Blood suffers from a repetitive, uninspired and superficial gameplay. Unreal Engine and a funny plot aren't enough.

The 3DS version of Inazuma Eleven 3 is finally available in the European market. Despite of the good overall experience, the lack of new major gameplay features and the absence of the online multiplayer are enough to turn this Level 5 game into a “simply good” jrpg.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars is a nice, small and interesting game, with a perfect level design and cute graphics. Its affordable price, the cross-buy and cross-play options between 3DS and Wii U, plus huge social element, are enough to keep you interested for many hours.

Verdun is an interesting shooter that depicts the mechanics of trench war, but is better to wait for developers to polish the game before lining up for a suicide attack.

A good looking quite-old-style RPG, with a solid story and some very nice gameplay mechanics... not perfect, but still enjoyable.

This game can be completed in a few hours and without any difficulties. Anyway, it's an intense adventure, full of passion and sadness.

Ninja Storm was the only franchise to bring Naruto’s story to PC and consoles and this collection is a must-have for every fan in the world. Four games that reproduce the battles, the characters and the story with a good pace and an enjoyable experience. The collection itself is a bit lazy, with just a sprinkle of Full HD to separate the new version from the original one. Finally, the lack of a PS4 Pro patch for Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is a pity.

Naruto is back again, even on Switch. It has lost the shine of the home consoles version but gained a new a new, portable life. A porting for every fan who wants to fight everywhere with the ninjutsu style.

This version is the best available for the God Wars series, but having no real improvements does not delete the fragile structure of the game. Tactical gameplay is safe, but not everything else, very poor for a genre like this.

A Metal Gear look-a-like stealth game with some RPG features and multiple endings, partially ruined by a lack of variety and minor balancing issues.

Despite a fragmented, impactless storytelling, Moncage is a fascinating and clever puzzle-adventure with quite challenging perspective-based riddles.

Suda 51's most recent production could have been something very special, but it's just a little (very little) sweet lollipop with a bitter aftertaste.

Despite a troubled development, Scorn managed to evolve over the years, to reach a visual and aesthetic power hardly achieved by other video games, including AAA. Unfortunately, the gameplay core is anachronistic and makes the gaming experience unsatisfactory, at times even frustrating... certainly light-years behind the artistic aspects of the title.

A good add-on that will make fans happy. Lot of stuff to do and virtually infinite gameplay with loads of user generated contents on the way.

The new Steep expansion is dedicated to the new Winter Games of PyeongCheng, in South Korea. It includes Japan too, with several new competitions and an entire new land. It is a nice addition, doesn’t change the game’s nature but it’s a good reason to get back to Steep.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands betrays the roots of the saga, yet it's an entertaining open world, full of missions and collectibles. And the co-op, with the ideal group of friends, makes the game even more passionate.

Sniper Elite V2 is an original third person shooter with some good ideas. A poor story and some gameplay glitches spoil an interesting experience.

Starting from the interesting idea of creating a Portal clone set in the future, with some elements taken from H.P. Lovercraft, Magrunner ends up as a funny game but nothing more. A good chance to create something different, only partially accomplished.

A pretty decent sequel for the award-winning Lume, with brilliant puzzles design, great atmosphere but a poor soundtrack.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning removed some dust from the textures but left the polygonal models and the user interface almost identical. Both of these elements would have needed a little more work to be modernized just enough to keep up with more recent productions.
