On paper the idea of blend together Dark Souls and ICO seems extremely interesting but the first game of RuneHeads falls flat in too many elements and a potential gem reveals itself only as a decent souls-like.

The Wardrobe is a huge reference to ‘90s era of point and click adventures. Touch controls, budget price and the same good graphics already appreciated on PCs make this game a nice experience to play.

Skelattack is a good title. It is not particularly long but the story still manages to be engaging, keeping the interest high from the beginning to the end. Too bad for some design choices, if the developers had dared more, the vote would have been higher. Net of this, however, the production of Ukuza is certainly pleasant and fans of the genre will only appreciate the addition of the title in their library.

Despite some technical limitations, low longevity and lack of replayability, Metamorphosis is a game full of passion and respect for the novels that inspired it. A budget-priced game that every gamer who loves Kafka's works should offer a chance.

Operation Flashpoint: Red River is a big step ahead for the console version of this popular franchise. The co-op multiplayer is really entertaining and the new squad control system works in a great way.

Not one of the best chapter in the long-lasting Traveller's Tales' series. The Incredibles features an irresistible cast and some clever sections, but also a messy + too-easy gameplay.

Chaosbane is a competent action rpg that fails to compare to the best games of the genre but provides some good time bashing Warhammer branded monsters in an infinite mesmerizing loop that, in the end, is way too repetitive.

Lost Sphear can't repeat the success of I Am Setsuna. The storyline is too weak and art design does not bewitch as hoped. However, it is an excellent RPG, recommended for lovers of the genre.

Star Hammer: The Vanguard Prophecy is a fun and deep space tactical experienced marred by a not-so-interesting campaign, lack of personality and an old-style look.

Cobalt is a metroidvania action shooter 2D featuring a deep battle system and a satisfying loot system. It offers a very good challenge for skilled players and several single-player and multiplayer game modes, competitive and cooperative both offline and online. Old school side-scrolling and brawlers fans will love it.

Far better than the previous chapter but the series still has road ahead to reach the best action-platforms.

There's no Ultimate Team in FIFA 13 for Wii U, no "first touch" control, and the Player Impact Engine is the same as FIFA 12. Despite this, and thanks to the features developed exclusively for the GamePad, FIFA 13 Wii U remains a solid football game.

The new episode of the Moto GP franchise has been programmed to be a funny arcade game. If you're looking for a simulation, don't consider this game, but if you want to race without too many problems, this could be a good purchase.

Underground proves that Massive Entertainment can improve The Division as it needs to do.

Sea of Thieves is actually the best pirate game available. Unfortunately, although the stunning experience offered by the title, there is a too small amount of content in it. The missions are funny at the beginning, but become boring after a short time. The beautiful environments and the pleasure of cooperation alone can't make the title survive forever. We need more content.

Thymesia is an interesting action-RPG with good ideas. Unfortunately not all of them are developed properly. As the first game of Overborder Studio, it turns out to be a good debut, hoping that this experience will serve to smooth out all the edges on the narrative and game balance in the future.

A great downloadable game with a balanced gameplay, good graphics and, most of all 50 funny Swarmites you can kill in the most unpredictable way. Ok, to kill them all is not your primary goal, but since you get also awarded, why not?

Resident Evil 6 is a long and funny cooperative action game, but you have to overlook the outdated gameplay and level design to fully appreciate it.

Fire Emblem Warriors is an hack & slash musou developed by Omega Force and produced by Koei Tecmo. It shares the DNA with Dynasty Warriors series, but the game is set in Fire Emblem universe. The strategic component is well developed and the fan service is very good, though the game feels tedious in the long run, and technically speaking we saw much better on the Nintendo Switch.

A fun open-world action title spoiled by its repetitive mechanics and some questionable game design choices.

While aesthetically charming and quite entertaining to play, there’s not enough content to declare Valhalla Hills a success. This, paired with a questionable price point, makes it an experience to embrace just if you’re a big Settlers fan. Otherwise wait for the unavoidable price drop.

The Eye of Judgment: Legends is an enjoyable TDC game: the plot is pretty boring but, if you like the genre, the multiplayer mode will entertain you for a long time. Fans of turn-based fighting will certainly appreciate it.

A funny follow-up to Poker Night at the Inventory, with several guest stars from other series and some entertaining dialogues and sketches. Too bad for some technical issues and the lack of multiplayer.

A fun but not so deep collection of minigames.

A very entertaining and original game that has suffered the downgrade from triple A to digital download from the technical point of view. Even with its limitations, anyway, it's an experience we suggest you try.

World of Warplanes provides good aerial shooting fun, but its future lies in the future support that Wargaming will provide it with.

A great story and some well scripted/designed characters are not enough to elevate this Dynasty Warriors-style game above average status.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a disappointing cooperative horde shooter in every respect. The gameplay is flat and derivative while the story is not interesting enough to keep the player entertained until the end of the campaign. Playing with friends can be fun at times but the Aliens franchise deserves way more.

Madness Returns is a fantastic, alternative vision of Wonderland, full of secrets and fascinating creatures. However, its gameplay doesn't evolve from the first chapter and tends to be repetitive.

Moons of Madness is a great tribute to Lovecraft's works that will immerse you in a dark and terrifying story on the surface of Mars.

Quake Arena Arcade is probably one of the best console porting of the unforgettable id Software's Quake 3 Arena. Good graphics, cool FX and frenetic gameplay: unfortunately, the netcode doesn't work as it should, bringing tons of lag and unexpected disconnections. A huge pity, for a so multiplayer-oriented FPS.

State of Decay 2 does not revolutionize the concept behind the series, but merely refines it. It is still a great title, and State of Decay fans can toast and rejoice. Sadly we couldn't try out the online multiplayer long enough to issue a verdict, we will update the review with the score as soon as possible.

A Diablo-esque game in a time when Diablo III is still the hottest game on shelves; the first dungeon crawler on 3DS, and with real time voice chat too. Heroes of Ruin is a good attempt to make a game like this on a portable console, but it is too easy and there's no end game at all.

Silent Hill HD Collection is the best for neophytes to enjoy part of a series which wrote horror dictates on console universe, while also reminding the older ones that you're never too old to feel real fear under your skin.

Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection on the PlayStation 4 is a little bit more crispy and fluid than the Switch version, but the two editions are on-par on the entertainment side.

Fragments of Him isn't a perfect videogame but is a worthy exponent of the "narrative experience" genre. The Sassybot's game is a story about loss and love, a flawed but moving journey in the life of a man and his loved ones.

A puzzle-platform in which you can’t jump might seem like an odd idea but Snake Pass reveals itself as a great game despite some rough edges and a sometimes ruthless difficulty.

State of Mind is a good narrative game that brings you in a very well created futuristic world. A Sci-fi thriller that doesn't need a challenging gameplay to be appreciated and keeps you in suspense until the final credits.

Finally, Virtua Tennis comes back from hell with a new and noteworthy chapter of this long-running series. Like "Rafa" Nadal, Top Spin 4 remains #1 in the world rankings, but Virtua 4 could be seen as it's Djokovic or Federer.

Automatron is a standard DLC, with some good ideas like a customizable companion, but it doesn't expand the gameplay or add any new innovation to the narrative side.

An old-school action platformer that sends us back to the Neo Geo era but fails to give the same amount of shivers down the spine due to some balance and design issues.

The Amazing Spider Man tries to clone part of the epic success of Arkham City using the same mechanics in a different context. The final result isn't as good as the Batman game, but the global experience is still good enough.

Liberation Maiden has a good quality/price ratio, although with some changes it could have been a much better experience. As it stands, however, it's just a good downloadable action game.

At the present time Cities XL is an ambitious but incomplete product that will surely need further work from Monte Cristo to reach proper quality standards. The game experience is in fact fun and challenging but also limited in many ways, proving unable to create real commitment from the players.

WWE 2K17 is a good game. It's worst issue is the lack of the Showdown mode, sold as a DLC. That was one of the most interesting and iconic modes of this franchise. On the other hand, the gameplay system is smooth, the WWE Universe Mode is virtually endless, and the editor is good enough to satisfy the wrestling fans out there.

New Tales from The Borderlands follows the step of its predecessor, with a well written story and a cast of protagonists that will entertain you for hours. The cell shading style and the filmmaker direction make the whole package well worthy of your time.

Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated is a colorful and exciting remake of old school platformer but, most importantly, is a great fun for all ages.

Long time fans of the series will feel at home with Rune Factory 5. It’s a well developed farming sim with lot of things to do and some well crafted jrpg elements. An intriguing story will let you meet some interesting characters, and even marry one of them. The problem is that the game is marred by some nasty technical issues that in some sens ruin overall experience. Low frame-rates, hitches, lags and stuttering are very frequent and some textures are rendered at very low quality. If you love these kind of games maybe you can overlook these issues, but we feel the game lacks the polish we saw in the previous entries of the series.

Another Pokémon game and probably a new commercial success, with an interesting storyline, but limited by an undeveloped gameplay.

Wii Karaoke U is a classic karaoke game with a couple of interesting twists. The subscription model is pretty much the same of services such as Xbox LIVE Gold, and the huge track list is a good way to let every kind of player to enjoy the app.

Lost Sphear is an amazing comeback for the traditional JRPG genre; despite its being almost perfect in reprucing the atmospheres of the past, it is a great tribute, but it lacks a little bit of innovation and personality to be considered a fully succesful game.

Metrico is without any doubt one of the best games available for PlayStation Vita and probably the best puzzle/platform title released this year. A must-have if you own the little/big Sony’s console. Unfortunately, it will only last a few hours.

Is the Stimulus Pack worth 1200 Microsoft Points? It depends. The new maps are nice enough, and offer good gameplay solutions (in particular Storm), but the price is way too much for this DLC. The return of two Modern Warfare classics is nice, but after hours and hours of play with the original game, the idea of having fun with them again is not so nice. If you're a Modern Warfare 2 supporter, probably you'll buy this DLC anyway. Else, be careful: it's not such a big deal.

The Signifier is an intriguing journey into an unknown and dark mind, in search of uncomfortable truths and buried memories.

A rather plain RPG, not particularly bad nor good, that doesn't make the most of an interesting premise. Coming from Daedalic, it also surprisingly lacks visual appeal.

Starblood Arena is a fun shooter that works better than expected in VR. Unfortunately, the chronic lack of content prevents the game to aspiring to better results.

NBA 2K21 is the same game of last year with some minor updates and a brand new story for MyCareer mode. Though the simulation is very good and it feels like a very realistic basketball game, all of the game modes orbit around microtransactions and loot boxes, especially MyTeam mode, where you will soon face super strong teams built spending real money. No matter how much or how well you play, competing at high level often feels too much difficult.

Hyper Scape manages to perfectly combine the past and the future of online shooters. The Battle Royale genre has a new, fierce and extremely fun competitor.

Illfonic delivers another asymmetric multiplayer game based on a famous franchise with great but unexpressed potential, just like Predator: Hunting Ground and Friday The 13th: The Game. Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed desperately needs new maps and modes to attract a bigger audience and be the game it was meant to be.

Downpour marks progress compared to what we saw with Homecoming and the latest chapters. Anyone expecting a return to the origins of Silent Hill, however, must wait again. Vatra's mission, with ups and downs, can be considered accomplished but the survival horror's perfection, that lethal mix of anxiety and irrational fear making you turn off the console in the middle of the night, it's quite another thing.

Serial Cleaners abandons the arcade style of the first chapter to embrace a more dense narrative, but without really updating the gameplay the result is not up to par.

The Xbox One episode of Zoo Tycoon has both the strategic elements of the PC games and the cool direct interaction granted by the new Kinect hardware. If you're looking for a deep single player and multiplayer experience with gorgeous looking animal 3D models, this is the game for you.

F1 2009 is an honest and pleasant game (yet with evident and avoidable flaws), but unluckily not the magnificent comeback fans were waiting for. Hopefully we'll see something a little more refined and meaty in 2010.

Beware Planet Earth is a simple clone of tower defense that tries to mix some of the gameplay elements of Plants vs. Zombies with the setting of Burton’s Mars Attacks! The idea is fine but the war between cows and aliens isn't as fun as the one between vegetables and the undead.

Killing Floor Incursion is an imperfect but enjoyable FPS, enhanced by an original and interesting control system.

Ifyou have already played the PS4/Xbox One/PC versions of the game there’s no need to consider this Switch porting, unless you’re interested in playing it on-the-go.

Earth Defense Force 2025 brings fun, fast paced action and huge space insects on your Xbox 360 and PS3. But if you are looking for deep gameplay or a shiny HD graphics, then it's not the product for you.

The official debut of Overlord on Nintendo hardware has to be considered more than good. Dark Legend is a funny mix of humor and action with a solid gameplay made of strategy and action.

Kinect Rush is a good game with an high production value and some very good ideas on how to use Kinect in funny new ways. But with only five tiny different worlds to explore and so little to discover, the happiness of being there, in the magic land of Pixar, ends too soon.

Gundam Versus is fun, but for a short while. Ideal online, but as long as the developers succeed in enhancing the infrastructure on which their creature is based.

Seven: The Days Long Gone is a unique mixture of genre and mechanics (action/RPG, stealth, parkour) that could have been a real revolution for the entire isometric RPG genre. Despite a lot of interest ideas the execution has to many flaws to really accomplish all of its ambitions.

Thanks to a strong narrative and a relatively good concept, Nier is to be considered a decent addition to the PS3's and 360's RPG catalog. Although its visuals aren't surely breathtaking and its gameplay doesn't excel in terms of depth, the game will in fact manage to guarantee a likable experience to any fan of the genre.

Good graphics are not enough. Infiltrator embraces the TPS gameplay letting down every RPG influence and offering an experience lacking every reference with the original series. It's better than Galaxy, but much more could have been done.

Brink is a mine of good ideas ruined by some technical flaws and some bizarre design issues. If you're looking for a great teamplay FPS, Team Fortress 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 are still your first choice.

A psychological horror game with an intense and engaging story that fails to bring something new to the genre, but if you liked movies like “A Cure for Wellness” or “The Lighthouse”, this one's for you.

A fascinating narrative VR adventure partially ruined by too linear gameplay and poorly conceived puzzles.

Although the substantial lack of gameplay innovations and the excessive attention towards multiplayer can’t be ignored, Lost Planet 2 proves to be a bigger and better and more engaging product than the first chapter of the franchise. Anyone in search of an entertaining and fun multiplayer experience should consider this purchase; those interested more at the single player should, on the other hand, be more careful.

A mysterious and dark adventure, The Guest is a simple but engaging point-and-click based on an interesting premise which develops in an unfortunately predictable plot.
