Armored Core V is a good step forward for this franchise. The huge and interesting multiplayer experience is a nice addition to the Armored Core brand. The lack of balance on the unlocking process and Conquest Mode, sadly, ruins the game's flow.

Beyond its addictive crafting system, Atelier Rorona doesn't unfortunately possess anything capable of arousing interest of those gamers who aren't familiar with these kind of jRPGs. However, if you define yourself as fan of the genre, you should definitely consider this purchase.

Ash of Gods is a turn based strategy game where RPG and CCG elements are mixed together. Similar to Banner Saga but with critical flaws in the narrative and gameplay rhythm. The long texts of dialogues are dense and inspired, shaping a nice story, but kinda trivial. It’s adapt to whom are passionate of fantasy books, maybe.

At the end of the day, we can't consider Dungeons a legitimate successor to Dungeon Keeper. In particular, the final evaluation has to consider the price of the game: on Steam, you can find much more complex and fun products, for a lesser price.

ShovelKnight: Showdown is a frenetic fighting game, with very fluid sprites in pixel art and a lot of different play styles. It is very fun inl ocal multiplayer, but because of the lack of the online multiplayer it's not for every type of player.

Golden Force is a platform for hardcore and tenacious gamers. It has good pixel-art and a powerful soundtrack. It is fun but some choices of game design are far from perfect. Its bad camera and its artificial difficulty can discourage many players.

However, the usual limits of the series remain, such as physics that are difficult to understand and an AI sometimes too aggressive.

Yoshi's New Island is a good platform game which simply can't stand up the mighty awesomeness of the original Yoshi's Island. The game doesn't use any of the Nintendo 3DS' unique features and the level design is good but never great. But the game is still fun and lovely.

Pro Cycling Manager 2013 rests on the lack of competition and does barely what it takes to appeal to the fans of the genre. Passable, but a bigger effort would be appreciated.

Valkyrie Elysium is an honest game, but victim of very evident production limits, which combined with the general result cannot justify the payment at full price. Red Solstice 2: Survivors is an isometric and tactical TPS. It has a solid multiplayer and offers extensive customization options. Unfortunately, in single player, it tends to repeat itself.

A fun and interesting reinvention of the classic battleship game. The new features give strategic depth at every match. Recommended to fans.

The Malgrave Incident is the second chapter of the series heading to consoles after the DS game. Unfortunately it's not as satisfying as the previous PC title.
