An extremely simple game riddled with bugs and flaws (e.g. hopeless collision detection) and very inconsistent in terms of visuals. [13/2016, p.80]

Due to unreliable scripts and other technical issues, bland and chaotic storytelling and stupid AI I played Warfighter strictly out of obligation and not for fun. Decent (but unbalanced) multiplayer is not enough to put other label than 'mediocre' on a game that was supposed to be a major hit. [13/2012, p.36]

Long time ago, in a land far, far away lived Belgians who had a cool idea for a game and a very talented lead artist, but not enough experience (and maybe also talent) to execute that idea properly. [05/2015, p.74]

Despite its obvious low budget I’ve already devoted 60 hours to Warhammer Quest – first on iOS, and now on PC. The atmosphere of the Old World recreated by Rodeo Games does not cease to delight me. [03/2014, p.80]

The game is absorbing but lacks in many aspects – it seems that Kylotonn focused on the combat system and forgot about everything else. [December 2011, p.50]

You often have to turn a blind eye to independent games’ shortcomings to enjoy the gameplay, but Darkout is so sloppy that the only reasonable thing to do is deleting the local content. How about a tutorial that can permanently block your progress even if you closely follow the onscreen instructions? [02/2014, p.61]

At its basis (which were copied from Ubisoft) Homefront is not a bad game, but total lack of innovation, ridiculous AI and myriad of lesser flaws make it hard to recommend to anyone but the most avid Far Cry fans. [07/2016, p.44]

Moebius is not bad, but it’s the weakest entry in Jane Jensen’s portfolio and we have every right to demand more from her than just a decent game. [06/2014, p.70]

Well-thought-out, transparent gameplay rules make Port Royale 3 a title that can keep you entertained for hours. It's a shame that naval battles are so simplified and the story is presented so unattractively. [July 2012, p.76]

I must admit that developers hit the spot with the title of their Spellforce 2 expansion. It’s still good, old Spellforce, but the emphasis should be put on ‘old’. [03/2014, p.69]

Remasters should refresh and fix, not add more problems. Unfortunately, Sacred 2 Remaster is a mistake that should never have been released, because... the old edition is simply better. Better, but not necessarily playable these days.

Metal Gear Survive’s underlying concept is not bad and the game has a couple of good moments, but I can’t recommend it to anyone. It’s best to steer clear of it. [04/2018, p.54]

If I didn't have to write this review, I wouldn't complete the game. I would chuck it in after 2 hours. Duke might be a legend but believe me – this game is so bland it's a waste of time. Duke Nukem Forever should have stayed where it spent so much time: on the drawing boards. [July 2011, p.54]

It's more of an interactive movie than a game, because you don't really get the sense of influencing the events. What Telltale Games concocted is a huge QTE sequence interrupted by dialogues and very easy puzzles. I can recommend it only to casual gamers still in love with the movie. [January 2012, p.62]

The concept behind Aeronautica Imperialis’ turn-based tactical gameplay is neat (your and enemy units move simultaneously, so you need to do your best to predict enemy behavior) but right now I can recommend the game to hardcore Warhammer 40K fans only. Everyone else should wait for the developers to add much more content and variety, because in its current state the game gets boring after an hour. [10/2020, p.80]

Such a simple, visually blank and short game, which is essentially a tech demo dressed up in walking sim robes, should be free. Even the minigames showcasing the console's new capabilities prove insufficiently attractive to explain this cash heist.
