The developers clearly had ambitions to create an interesting game, but something was lacking. Skills? Money? Time? Whatever the reason, Chornobyl Liquidators turned out to be quite a disappointment even though I approached it with moderate expectations. The most interesting premise of LA Cops – the fact that you control two policemen – is squandered by your buddy’s poor AI and the lack of co-op mode. Said AI is unpredictable in a bad way, so tactical planning is basically out of the picture unless you call hiding behind a corner with a shotgun and sending your partner as a bait a tactic. Sluggish story is Alpha Polaris' biggest drawback – you can fall asleep in front of the screen before things start to get interesting. There’s a sort of optical illusions where something seems large, but when you get close, it becomes apparent that you’re dealing with a cleverly placed miniature. It’s the same thing with Ancient Labyrinth, a scanty, boring and dull DLC that dumbs the great gameplay of LotF down to pressing forward and killing everything that stands in your way. Captain Tsubasa’s biggest strength is its touching story about friendship, rivalry, and the love of football. Unfortunately, I’m not talking about the game. The narratives of both story campaigns in Rise of New Champions are boring, full of clichés and poorly written dialogues. That’s not the biggest problem though. There are some fun hidden object games out there but Vampire Saga: Welcome to Hell Lock is not one of them. It makes you return to the locations you've already explored (sometimes even look for the objects you've already found there!) and listen to a single music track for over 4 hours.
