Pirates of the Caribbean : At World’s End keeps the cycle of poor movie to game transitions going. While it maybe a visually impressive game, that doesn’t make up for the lack of depth in the gameplay and uninteresting story.- Armchair Empire

A fairly simplistic game with a very basic premise: kill anything that gets in your way.- Armchair Empire

Besides the lack of historical extras Tecmo hasn't even included online score tracking.- Armchair Empire

Emergency 3 will appeal to the small segment of gamers out there that can put up with controlling the minutia, which is pretty small segment.- Armchair Empire

A standard, by-the-numbers platformer adventure. There are some neat moments of exploration and odes to sci-fi classics, but the incongruent control scheme – that only gets it half right to boot – relegates Meet the Robinsons to a passing rental at best for your kids because it’s mostly harmless.- Armchair Empire

At the end of the day, the sheer amount of repetitive, uninspired quests, and dreary battles make the game a chore to play.- Armchair Empire

A major disappointment with too many problems to be anything more than a weekend rental.- Armchair Empire

Even if you don't compare it to the 360 version, the game either comes off of an unbalanced first person shooter or a neutered action-strategy sim.- Armchair Empire

Eat Lead has an excellent premise and a superb voice cast, but the gameplay leaves a bad taste in the mouth.- Armchair Empire

For fans of fires or fans of just wasting away time staring into a dark monitor, EFR will be your "Game of the Year". For other video gamers with at least a half-mind, look elsewhere for your fire controlling needs.- Armchair Empire

Just pop in one of the old games – or any one of their numerous clones from the past few years – and it’ll probably be more worthwhile.- Armchair Empire

Conflict: Denied Ops is closer to the back of the class, but is saved from failure by including a straightforward co-op mode, with the emphasis on blowing things up rather than any kind of military tactics.- Armchair Empire

While I’ve never put a whole heap of focus on graphics, KumaWar actually manages to distract with its graphics. They aren’t pretty and appear more than few years old – think about the original Counter-Strike – and at times I mistook building features for enemy snipers.- Armchair Empire

The worst offender is shot fakes that turn into accidental shots. This happened to me 3 or 4 times a game – deadly when the score is close.- Armchair Empire

This game hurts bad in the sound department. A bunch of MIDI clips were used for the music and it fails to create the mood and atmosphere of being a badass agent.- Armchair Empire

It's not much of a fighting game, its controls are inexact, the camera has its own quirks, and it's only enjoyable during short sittings, but Zatch Bell! Mamodo Fury is a very stylish Japanese game that should please fans of the anime.- Armchair Empire

If you remember the originals (fondly of course), you will definitely want to pick this up. If this is your first time packing a six-shooter in the Wild West, you might want to consider a rental first.- Armchair Empire

After playing through the single-player on Normal difficulty, I'd be more inclined to attempt the campaign on a higher difficulty if I wanted to experience the story. Maybe there's some dramatic linchpin that I missed! But I was unsuccessful in keeping my brain from thinking about the problems and inconsistencies I see with the story and the relationship between Cortana and Master Chief the first time around, why would the second time be any different? Halo 4 has its moments, but not enough of them to make me forget about this stuff.- Armchair Empire

It'd be probably work well for a rental, but much like a Sci-Fi Channel Original, Legendary isn't something you'd want to admit to having played.- Armchair Empire

Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed has its heart in the right place – if it weren’t for the haphazard control and the aggravation that stems from it, this would actually be a good entry for new players and fans because it is a relatively funny game and maintains the spirit and conventions of the past games.- Armchair Empire

"Devil May Cry 2" got a lot of heat for feeling bland and uninspired compared to its predecessor. Spawn: Armageddon, being even more vapid, actually makes that vaguely lackluster title seem like a work of absolute genius.- Armchair Empire
