Suffers from poor controls, insufferable repetition, and a decided lack of fun.- Armchair Empire

Full on style but short on substance. Although it’s firing on all cylinders in terms of presentation, the repetitiveness is disheartening and becomes too boring to make Murakumo even a recommended rental.- Armchair Empire

With the poor storyline, unchallenging missions, and poor enemy AI, the single player portion of the game is totally disposable. With enough patience, players could find Rogue States worthwhile, in a multiplayer capacity.- Armchair Empire

Mario Party 8 has sold extremely well but it seems to be riding the crest wave of previous Mario Party titles, because there’s nothing worth coming back for.- Armchair Empire

I am sure if I was much younger or a weak gamer, I would take more enjoyment in the game, but I was left with a challenge-less adventure.- Armchair Empire

There are one or two thrills to be had by fans of the old GI Joe cartoon, but that’s about all that can be said for Rise of Cobra, which is unfortunate because as campy as GI Joe is there’s a lot of potential for a good game.- Armchair Empire

There's nothing about the PSP Rainbow Six Vegas that doesn't feel like a cheap cash in, in hopes that some fan of the console games might mistake this for something of the same quality.- Armchair Empire

These arcade games, while overdone, are still the best reason to own this collection - it's hard to completely hate any product that includes the relatively unsung Dig Dug II and Gaplus - but otherwise this whole package is little more than a quickie cash-in.- Armchair Empire

In trying to do something new with the Don’s View, it seems like the resources of the development team were stretched too thin, resulting in a completely forgettable experience.- Armchair Empire

The overwhelming amount of on-screen activity reduces greatly the overall resolution of the game to a saucy mess at times and the many independent characters running around all seem to have the collective I.Q of a Pringle.- Armchair Empire

I know that I don't fall in the demographic that American Dragon: Jake Long is aimed at, but even I can recognize a bad game, even if it is sprinkled with one or two points of interest.- Armchair Empire

All in all, Transformers Dark Side of the Moon wasn't the worst game I've played, and moreover certainly wasn't even the worst movie adaptation of a game I've played but it certainly could have used more QA time.- Armchair Empire

There are bugs and crashes to contend with, the crossover with Silent Hunter II is non-existent, and the learning curve will leave you panting if you’re new to the simulation scene.- Armchair Empire

Despite the complaints, Attack of the Saiyans is still a decent RPG adventure, particularly for those who are new to the genre and could use a good entry point. But for fans of both Dragon Ball Z and RPGs in general, there are many other titles on both fronts that are more worthy of their time.- Armchair Empire

Ultimately, it’s barely any better or worse than the ones that came before it – and probably after as well.- Armchair Empire

As it stands, it's only barely playable, and it's only fun if you have the patience for fumbling controls.- Armchair Empire

However well done the game is from a technical standpoint, its actual content makes a mockery of the men and the operations it tries so very hard to flatter.- Armchair Empire

It's unfortunate that the simple gameplay hasn't held up well over the years, because most of the fun here is had through shear nostalgia (whipping candles, etc).- Armchair Empire

Okay combat, some neat spell effects, okay levels, a protection mechanic that works, upgradeable powers, spells and special items, and protracted cutscenes that revel in being overly dramatic (that's a positive in my book), make Knight's Contract utterly unremarkable.- Armchair Empire

Nintendo has given its gamers a game to keep them healthy with Wii Fit. Unintentionally, And Then There Were None has given them the perfect sleep-inducing game to follow a rigorous Wii Fit session.- Armchair Empire

Wacky Races offers some fun for a half dozen races and a nostalgic trip back to a Hanna Barbara series that some may remember. Beyond that, the game offers little depth or replayability and is probably best looked at as a rental.- Armchair Empire

Basically dreck. I should have been a straight-up action game or a full-fledged role-playing game with a coherent story to accompany more connected levels. Instead it's long, boring and not worth anyone's time, even if the touchscreen spellcasting is kind of fun.- Armchair Empire
