Power Gig: Rise of the SixString was a good stab at adding something unique to the music genre, alongside its great set list. It's unfortunate that the overall experience is left wanting and that the guitar -- the thing you dropped all that money on -- really does prevent enjoyment seeping into your gaming sessions.- Armchair Empire

You sever someone’s head and you need to lob it into a goal! Sounds fun? Yup, right up there with watching grass grow.- Armchair Empire

Because like all art, it's subjective – I may not know art, but I know what I like. And I don't like this. For something truly "art wothy" try "Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem."- Armchair Empire

Sniper: Art of Victory is a budget title and as such can be excused for some superficial failings. Unfortunately, some of its failings are more than superficial take much of the fun out of the game.- Armchair Empire

How can anyone justify dropping $50 on a ninja game with a broken camera, un uber weapon that makes most of the game a cakewalk, some twitchy control and only a so-so presentation? I certainly can't.- Armchair Empire

Even fans of the DOA might want to think twice about picking up a copy of Xtreme 2. Although the eye candy may send your eyes into a diabetic shock, that’s about all there is here.- Armchair Empire

Critical flaws in a console game are unacceptable, especially when updating (i.e. patching) console games just isn’t done yet.- Armchair Empire

Fuzion Frenzy 2 was never asked for and if there’s ever plans for a third edition the game will need a complete gutting before it can be stitched into something that people will want to play.- Armchair Empire

There is absolutely no denying that Diablo III continues to maintain the high artistic standards that it has kept over the years. But the dumbed character and inventory systems, coupled to the ridiculous always-on connection and the breathtaking arrogance of the"you'll play how we tell you to play" attitude makes playing this title a damned shame instead of a hell of a good time.- Armchair Empire

Avatar does look awesome (even better, I'm told, when you're playing in Stereoscopic 3D) but there's so little fun here that your money is better spent elsewhere.- Armchair Empire

APB had a simple concept, one that anybody who used to be young and a dead shot with a squirt gun could have gotten behind, and Realtime Worlds managed to screw it up completely.- Armchair Empire

The painful hand cramps, the repetitive motion of sliding the stylus, and the extremely uneven challenge of the opponents, make Pokémon Dash a title that can be safely missed.- Armchair Empire

Might interest younger gamers and please parents with it’s inoffensiveness, but there are still better games out there for the younger audience.- Armchair Empire

Homefront is an ambitious title with a solid idea, but lacked the courage to distance itself from the (media established) king of First Person Shooters.- Armchair Empire

If it weren’t for the camera, DoF could have been a contender or least a lot better than what we get here.- Armchair Empire

A huge disappointment. The general concept is decent, but the game never evolves past that. The controls are frustrating, and the aesthetic / story of the game is such a yawn fest that only those with tremendous patience will be able to persevere for more than ten minutes at a time.- Armchair Empire

Any way you slice it, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is a poor game and you’d have to be Sam Fisher’s number one fan to grab this rendition of the franchise.- Armchair Empire

If there is one place where Stolen has the edge over Splinter Cell it's probably the minor gameplay mechanics like lock picking and computer hacking.- Armchair Empire

Godzilla Unleashed: Double Smash feels like something is missing. The game had the potential of being an excellent fighting title but in the end, this monster is feeling rather hollow.- Armchair Empire

The game itself doesn't possess enough personality (or challenge) on its own to stand out as unique in the admittedly small field of AO games.- Armchair Empire
