A decent rehash of the X-COM oldies. Its gameplay is complex, fun, and engaging... Unfortunately, weak sounds, sub par story presentation and certain aspects like crashes and occasional flops in the AI might put off some gamers looking for a more immersive cinematic experience.- ActionTrip

With one new rich location and a lot of opportunities to enter show-business, playing Superstar can be an interesting venture.- ActionTrip

There's quite a lot to enjoy in this game. In most aspects, it stays true to the traditions of the genre, provided you can stomach the unnecessarily lengthy prologue and the aforementioned drawbacks (bad camera, lousy voiceovers, atrocious vehicle physics and so on).- ActionTrip

In the end, Prince of Persia is nothing more than a beautifully animated and brilliantly directed ride through impressively designed environments. The problem strictly resides in its watered down gameplay mechanics, which, although well-executed, did not exactly meet our expectations, let alone provide a decent challenge.- ActionTrip

Can be a satisfying experience, and the added features may increase the replay value, but the game still has some rather annoying gameplay problems, which shouldn't be there in the sequel.- ActionTrip

Our main beef is that the developers have spent an excessive amount of time polishing and perfecting those cinematics and QTEs, instead of developing more engaging puzzles and even the occasional riddle wouldn’t have gone amiss.- ActionTrip

This is definitely not the high point of the series. Someone may need to return to the old drawing board.- ActionTrip

The game is ultimately very linear and shallow, and it doesn't do the comic book characters justice, but it's still enjoyable and addictive if viewed as a pure arcade action / beat-em-up experience.- ActionTrip

At some point, the game is bound to become tedious and there's not much in it that would increase its replayability... The game lacks the hugeness of "Sim City" and the exciting twists of, say, "Caesar 3."- ActionTrip

The immersion is there, the gameplay can be fun, but overall, Lost Odyssey fails to "go the distance" as a modern-day RPG. Whilst it offers a unique twist to the genre, it definitely lacks more content and depth to be regarded as a truly great RPG. Hardcore RPG gamers won't find it rewarding enough.- ActionTrip

Yes Bethesda pulled out all the stops and got professional talent to voice the NPCs. It has a huge impact on the gameplay.- ActionTrip

The overall narrative may not be as deep and epic as in the first game, but it still offers some unexpected and pleasant variables, which, as we all know, is BioWare's forte exhibited in games like the Mass Effect trilogy.- ActionTrip

I got hooked on the neat puzzle-solving, just as if I was playing one of my favorite classic adventures, and that alone can be a rewarding enough gaming experience.- ActionTrip

When you consider all the ups and downs of this one, I must admit it just doesn't retain thrill we've got from titles like Most Wanted and the Underground series.- ActionTrip

Desert Siege brings virtually nothing new in terms of mission design, interface, weapons (well you get some new ones in multiplayer) or anything like that. It's a pretty straightforward expansion pack.- ActionTrip

It presents players with a unique twist to the sub-genre as well as a highly imaginative and beautifully designed game world that will let you lose yourself in all the unique characters and environments as well as the often humorous dialogue.- ActionTrip

It's quite possible to enjoy the game's story, characters and eerie ambience. But just how long are you prepared to endure through an experience riddled with problems, from clumsy combat mechanics, serious freezing and screen tearing, as well as other glitches.- ActionTrip

While some features reflect the students' life accurately, the general atmosphere makes the experience rather childish and not very varied, as there are simply not enough elements from the college life.- ActionTrip

The Battle for Middle-Earth is not a story-driven game. It is simply a collection of different chapters in the history of Middle-Earth that you'll have to finish to defeat the other side. You get no explanation why you need to undertake certain actions or get involved in specific missions at a certain stage of the game.- ActionTrip

It just lacks the depth and growth potential to have any genuine longevity. Do yourself a favor and wait for this one to hit the bargain bins. It is worth playing, but if its predecessor was any indication, you won’t have to wait long to get this experience at a far more acceptable price.- ActionTrip

The stupid and uninspiring storyline, coupled with some EAX related problems never got me hooked on this one. Unreal 2 is still an entertaining game, but it's way too simplistic and "old school" to live up to today's single player FPS standards.- ActionTrip
