An epic movie!! The action, music, story line, the way the characters characters evolve alongside the movie was just ideal, this is without a doubt just what the DCEU needed! Snyder did a really amazing job bringing this story!

All of those elements converged in Zack Snyder's Justice League.

A project that can be considered dead due to the studio's zero interest in continuing with what Snyder had in mind.
So it will go down in history as a failed experiment and a memento of what could have been.
And, unfortunately, it will also become a terrible precedent for fans to think and believe that they can manipulate multi-million dollar corporations.

This movie has parts of the best and worst of Zack Snyder.
It's clearly a superior film than the one Whedon altered, but it's quite necessary to clarify that all Snyder is doing is mending a film that was already poorly made, and that had been brutally patched up with elements that ultimately made it much worse.

I admire Snyder's ambition, and I say that because he clearly wasn't afraid to build a movie on such a scale. However, it is his own ambition that ends up winning in his own game.

This is a 4-hour film that would never have seen the light of day, even if it had been finished when it was released in 2017.
Therefore, now that he was aware that they would allow him the opportunity to expand to the fullest without consequences, Snyder never seemed to have thought in having moderation Obviously, if it was his last chance, he would be the guy to leave the party in a big way.

This Justice League is bigger, too long, and even with the massive amount of detail it adds, it's still a messy film.
You can put many other adjectives in it, but mess is still the big trigger.

Without a doubt Snyder bet on many other things for the future, hence the constant plans that he has revealed on social media, but unfortunately for him, he will only be the child who wanted to have the cake and eat it too.

His world, by the looks of it, is dead, and that's why I refer to this movie as a dead project. Since neither DC nor Warner have been able to give order to their planning of superhero movies.
And now they will use the multiverse excuse to protect their business approach of: throw **** and see what sticks. I trusted this idea, but they did not let it work, and that is why until now a clear path has not been found. So you have to see this for what it is: One director had his way to get rid of a personal and professional thorn, and was consequently able to deliver such a film. Which in my opinion is completely built for fans. Casual viewers or movie lovers of other genres should know better. Now their enjoyment or dislike will only belong to them.
For better or worse, Snyder did what he wanted, and perhaps in his mind he finally delivered, so the rest is up to the viewers. *Kudos to Snyder for the knightmare sequence. I mean, it's pure **** fan service, but if this wasn't it, then what is it?… Expand

4 years ago, I left the theater disappointed in the movid that came out in theaters. I joined the snyder cut movement and fought hard for the movie Zack originally shot before having to deal with a family loss. I take the League of Justice for perhaps the worst superhero movie. It wasn't bad, but let's say it's above average and overall bad compared to others. So when I heard that an extended version was to be made, I was quite excited, because thatI take the League of Justice for perhaps the worst superhero movie. It wasn't bad, but let's say it's above average and overall bad compared to others. So when I heard that an extended version was to be made, I was quite excited, because that was more or less the main problem of the film, because it simply seemed unfinished and as if something was missing. But here it all fit. After all, the film has 4 hours. I haven't seen a longer movie. But I can assure you that the 4 hours are worth it and it is not an unnecessary stretch of the film. On the contrary, the film uses time and will show you everything it should. The characters have more simplicity this time, so we can form a relationship with them. Such a Victor was, in my opinion, absolutely uninteresting in the original version. But this is no longer the case here, and thanks to his story original, I was able to create a bond with the character during the film. But Wonder Woman also underwent a change, or at least it came to me. I'm not sure, but it occurred to me that she had new music in the action scenes that definitely suited her. Batman and Aquaman are quite the same, but it doesn't matter at all, because they already have their film, so we only know about them so that we can be interested in the character. Negative luxury and more or less goes for sure. I won't lie that it's quite similar to the Avengers, specifically the Infinity War. Instead of stones, dice are collected here and instead of Thanos there is Steppenwolf. This combo didn't work very well then, but today it works now, especially the already mentioned length of the film, because everything was done and the film does not seem to be in a hurry or that it is missing something. The only minus that froze me slightly were the black lines on the sides of the image, which do not disappear, even during a delicious event, where it would be useful to see the thresher in full screen. Overall, he was surprised by the end, which still healed the film and is much better than the last one. Overall a huge surprise and Zack Snyder did something incredible. Finally, after a long time, we have a great movie, and I wouldn't be angry if Suicide Squad got such a longer version, but that's my opinion. So for me, a great movie that I can recommend.… Expand

I think it is well past time to say that critics are completely out of touch with the general public. I don't think I have ever seen a discrepancy this big between the audience and critic score. 9.0 vs 5.5. SMH. While I personally thought Man of Steel and BvS (the Extended Edition version) were great, I was so disappointed with the original Justice League that I could not imagine this movie being good. If that original script and story was based on what Snyder made, how good could it actually be? The answer is its not good. It is an actual MASTERPIECE. I'm not saying that lightly nor am I saying that as a hardcore fan of Snyder (I'm not). I'm saying that as a person who enjoys watching all kinds of movies. This isn't going to be your typical Marvel fare, this movie is an actual piece of art. It's not the beer you chug with your friends on vacation, its the whiskey you drink while lost in thought. Sorry for the super cringe reference, but please just watch the movie. It's amazing. Actual merits of the film (acting, directing, story, plot, etc.): 8.5/10

Man...That's why Zack synder is the best... He did justice to all the roles specially Barry Allen and Cyborg who had nothing in the original movie...excellent VFX, back ground score...New story arc...They should continue this story only...Reveals many new surprises... New super heros...Alternative realities...This would be a sensation if it was released 4 years back...

I never saw the 2017 theatrical release after the bore-fest that was "Suicide Squad", but I watched "BvS: The Ultimate Edition" in preparation for the Snyder Cut so as to refresh myself on the characters. Suffice to say, it's actually pretty good. The characters were very interesting to me for once (Cyborg in particular has much better development as a character compared to what I've heard about the "Josstice" version) the action and story all feel easier to follow, and the return of Superman coupled with Flash's amazing "Time Reversal" scene during the final battle with Steppenwolf really do wonders.

If I had any real issues, I'd say the scene with Iris West at the Vet's Office and the scene where Vulko tries to give Arthur his mother's spear felt like they didn't really add anything to the main story and so didn't have much reason to be there. Also, as much as I enjoyed seeing the Martian Manhunter in this movie, the decision to include him in the epilogue is kind of ruined by the fact that it happens immediately after another "Knightmare" sequence that I personally felt just dragged the ending out for too long.

Overall, the Snyder Cut isn't perfect, nor is it my favorite movie from Snyder (that's "Man of Steel"); but considering the reception to "Josstice League" and the shenanigans that led to its existence, I would MUCH rather spend another four hours watching this again than spend almost two hours watching something that tried (and failed) to emulate "Marvel's the Avengers".… Expand

My favorite comic film since the Watchmen and TDKR!
Zack created an epic development in 9.5 hours with his trilogy, while exploring many possibilities and setting up many sequels for the DC multiverse!

This movie is simply amazing ! It gave me the exact same thrills I got when I first the avengers ! This movie is far superior than the 2017 abomination.

This movie was incredible, now we understand every hero and their reasons, their emotions, and Cyborg and flash, once just a footnote in the 2017 version, are now the center of the whole story. Besides the heroes, even Steppenwolf and the villains are better, deeper, he is no longer just a grey generic villain, i even felt sad for him at times, and his visual is awesome. No need to say the shots are beautiful and the fights spectacular. The only bad things about the movie are the special effects, which sometimes seem cheap, but that's because of the low budget, and also some of the dialogue is very expositive, directed at the audience and not at the characters, but that's also very small.

Loved the movie, when i first heard about this Snyder Cut, i expected 15 minutes of new content, not a gamechanging completely different movie, hell, the whole first hour is different, the ending sequence is 100% changed, it's awesome. Before this, i wanted this version of the DC Universe to end, now, i want a sequel.… Expand

I started at 9am, only finished at 7pm. I had to take breaks in between to absorb what was happening.

Pros: 1) You get more character backstory for Cyborg, 2) more “fight” scenes of the Flash (he’s far more utilized this time around!), 3) Wonder Woman’s introductory fight scene against regular humans really portrayed her strength and speedPros: 1) You get more character backstory for Cyborg, 2) more “fight” scenes of the Flash (he’s far more utilized this time around!), 3) Wonder Woman’s introductory fight scene against regular humans really portrayed her strength and speed well over even the previous two films made specifically for her, 4) there’s room for a LOT of growth(!), and 5) there’s some blood and swearing, which is expected and welcomed given DC is typically grittier and darker-themed. I really want more in the DC universe!

Cons: Aspect ratio, some unnecessary scenes (mostly at the beginning), and maybe along with that, some unnecessary song choices for said scenes.

Four hours really isn’t that long, and if you enjoy it, time will absolutely fly. But if you’re on the fence because of it, you can always break it in to its parts, which Snyder did.… Expand

It's proof you don't need 10+ stand alones to introduce characters before you go big and you don't need to sacrifice the drama for comedy.
Batfleck is boss, Cyborg broke my heart, Barry can move in with me, Supes is getting scary (interesting), Arthur....I'm gonna keep this family friendly. Which leaves Diana. WW is the weak link in a very strong chain. Her action scenes are near flawless, but that's basically it. It's not even that she's OP, it's that she's bland as a character. Too good, too right, too perfect...she's not a character, she's a skill set who's handy for exposition. However this is easy to overlook when there's so much else going on and like I say watching her fight is a joy. I hope ZS gets a chance to continue this vision as I trust him now to do these characters justice … Expand

This movie feels complete, the watching experience is great and the four hours go by in a flash (pun-intended). Each actor's acting skills are far better portrayed. Cyborg and Flash, in particular are made way more important and likeable characters. The action sequences and the soundtrack, blessed both my eyes and ears. The VFX team did a wonderous job. It's a superhero movie alright, and as DC is, it's meant to embrace the darkness. It only makes more envious to see what would be if Zack Snyder's vision were to be completed. The teases are very exciting. As a prominent DC fan, in my opinion, this movie is, one of a kind and a masterpiece.… Expand
