    Hand's down the most disappointing game of the year, this was supposed to be the game of the generation, but it's just another overhyped bethestha mediocre game heavenly held back by their ancient engine.

    It's a complete step back from their other big game's, even fallout 4 which in itself is already pretty meh. it's simply not the xbox comeback everyone was expecting

    It's not the game they promised, it's full of bugs, poor performance, outdated graphics engine, constant loading times, limited and boring, simple interface menus. It's not what it should have been.

    Fast travel directly from missions menu.
    Guys, please test and fix bugs in your games before release. At least most annoying ones. People should play and not looking for workaround and fixes instead.

    This game is a huge steaming pile of garbage. For goodness sake, why does Bethesda still keep using this same outdated PS2 engine? Enough already. This is literally just a reskinned Fallout 4. It plays and feels exactly the same, not to mention that Fallout 4 was already an outdated piece of garbage when it first released. The greedy developers are too cheap and lazy to update or get a new engine. Not even EA is that greedy to use stone age engines for their PS5/XSX games. Bethesda is now owned by a multi-trillion dollar company and it's pathetic they still use this same Nintendo DS 2D minigame for lockpicking in a $70 next-gen only title. I can pick locks in real-time in Atomic Heart, and that game was made by an inexperienced no-name studio with a much smaller publisher. That just proves Bethesda are extremely greedy and lazy. You can't open doors in real-time, nor can you grab anything in real-time. The developers bragged about 1000 planets, but it's nothing more than 1000 glorified interiors.

    The missions are boring and repetitive. The story is terrible. The character models are so hideous, it makes me want to puke. The facial animations are laughable. The gunplay is horrible, and so is the inventory system. The space battles are a joke. The physics are complete trash. When I fall into the water 100 feet in the air, there's no splash nor does my character go underwater. The water doesn't even react to grenades and explosions. This $70 next-gen only title runs at 30 FPS. The protagonist doesn't talk. These cheapskates didn't want to pay for a protagonist voice actor. The AI is incredibly stupid. I can't believe the amount of Xbox fanboys lying about the lack of bugs. That is an absolute lie, there's many bugs in this game. Speaking of fanboys, they claim that the game gets fun in about 12 hours. A game shouldn't take that freaking long to be fun. This garbage costs $70, it should be fun right from the get-go. If an entertainment product doesn't entertain, then what's the point? I also love how these fanboys make that claim, because they're basically admitting that the first 12 hours are boring.

    There's nothing to do in the open world. Wait, did I say open world? There are loading screens when visiting other planets. It's the same garbage as Witcher 3, can't even explore the entire open world in real-time. The planets are empty. It's just wastelands full of rocks, plants and more rocks. Yeah I get it, most planets in the universe are empty. But let's not forget you can't even explore an entire planet, nor can you explore outerspace in real-time like you can in No Man's Sky, meaning Bethesda clearly had the choice to only make us explore the interesting parts. They didn't make that choice. To make matters worse, there's no land vehicles, making it more tedious to explore these empty landscapes. Speaking of exploration, there are no maps. They could have at least added a proper map for the so-called "cities" but the developers were too lazy for that. I don't want to waste my time trying to find the gun shop. What is it with Bethesda calling small settlements cities? If those are cities, then Paleto Bay and Sandy Shores from GTA V are cities.

    There is no multiplayer. So once you beat the story, there is literally not a reason to play this game again. Charging $70 for a game with no replay value is a cash grab. Where's Team Deathmatch? Where's PvP space battles? Co-op? Anything? It is highly embarrassing that an indie studio like Hello Games can give me co-op, yet this veteran AAA studio backed by a multi-trillion dollar corporation can't even do that. Even a failure defunct studio like Volition can give me co-op. A very tiny studio like Coffee Stain North can give me co-op. I could make plenty of examples in regards to other smaller studios humiliating you Bethesda and Microsoft, but why should I even bother doing that when you already do an amazing job at humiliating yourselves. I mean, just look at those NPCs. They don't react to you firing your weapons, a basic detail that many PS2 games had. I remember playing N64 games with that little detail. I am sick to death of Microsoft's low quality trash. I expect a dozen top-notch AAA biblical gaming experiences by now from a multi-trillion dollar company. I don't recommend this game at all, unless you want to support laziness.    … Expand

    Un gioco altamente respingente. Da amante di Skyrim, ne sono deluso. Ho giocato poche ore, lo ammetto. Ma onestamente, meglio così. Magari da riprendere tra qualche anno, sperando che le dinamiche di gioco siano stravolte e migliorate.
    Grafica buona, ma ci sono alcune parti di mappa che fanno sanguinare gli occhi: le cascate, le piante mi hanno veramente ucciso.

    I nemici sono idioti allo stato puro, superati solamente dai companion dei quali vuoi sbarazzarti il prima possibile.
    Il menu non mi piace: se l'idea era il minimalismo, a sembra più che altro povero, scabro.

    E poi: i viaggi spaziali.
    Una sequela di caricamenti e cinematic brutte e inutili. La navigazione nelle mappe frustrante, tedioso.
    Esplorare a terra è noioso, senza mezzi se non andare a piedi o con un aspirapolvere sulle spalle (nel 2330?); caricamenti tra un dungeon e l'altro. Il nulla da fare...

    Gioco monocorde, sciatto e senz'anima.
    Bethesda non merita i fan che ha. E al di là del fatto che questo gioco rende ancora più frustrante l'attesa per TES6, mi chiedo se è meglio sperare che non esca mai.
    Piuttosto che provare una delusione ancora più cocente di questa.

    I wanted to like this game I really did, but as a bethesda fan I feel like I've been lied to and sold on a lot of features by bethesda themselves that is not present in the game on launch. I hope they do better with the elder scrolls VI because if they mess that one up to then I will be done with Bethesda.

    Lots of re-used assets, such as sounds from Skyrim and Fallout 4, a true magnum opus from Bethesturd and Turd Howard, requiring only the best hardware possible if you even want to dream of achieving 30 fps.     This game also suffers from the deadly and terminal "Millenial Twitter" writing, with quirky characters who wont stop babbling about inane subjects in the most boring and predictable way possible. Every single character is insufferable.
    Let's not even talk about how this is a glorified Fetch simulator with absolutely no freedom to do whatever you want, no way to impact the story, no alternate routes, nothing. In a way, it's more Mass Effect: Andromeda and Ubisoft than it is Bethesda. That's really bad.
    There is not a single reason to play this game. You enjoy atmospheric space games? Go play No Mans Sky
    You enjoy Bethesda games? Go play Skyrim
    You enjoy every category that this game is a part of? Me too. I hate this game.    … Expand

    One of the worst games I’ve ever played, the load times are absolutely horrendous and the open worlds are dead and the A.I is so stupid. The loading screens are the worst I’ve ever seen, just about anything you involves a loading screen it’s like the game came from the PS3/360 era.

    Tried it on my Samsung, You can see that the people that worked on Skyrim is long gone. Buggy, horrible npc models, bad AI, boring landscapes, long load times. This is everything Skyrim isn't. What happened to Bethesda?

But it's no better than Fallout 4. The space aspect is so shallow it doesn't deserve a game and theme built around it. The exploration of the universe is so disappointing and undeveloped.     Lleno de Bugs, aburrido, muy poco pulido...
    Como que me lleve más de media hora para descubrir cómo terminar una misión y al final estaba mal hecha...y solo podía hacerla de una forma.
    Siento que he tirado el dinero

    Ведь игру делает никто иной а великий! Тодд Говард и теперь ему в этом поможет Филарет ведь у мелкософт чит на деньги. Я так и знал что выйдет типичное беседко хрючево, на искалеченном временем движке Морровинда 2001 года.

    анимации редкостное дерьмо, ИИ тупой, импакта нет, ганплей тоже вышел за дверь, локализации на русский нет мир пластмассовый и дубовый.
    Один чёс маргетинговый Фила и Тодда со всех щелей, одни заявления Тодда про то что это Некст Ген игра чего стоят, не считая остальных заявлений клоунов из беседки.
    диалоги плоское уг, сюжет туда же.
    Куча пустых планет с камнями и контентом ctrl+c ctrl+v оптимизации нет, ещё и куча багов.
    Учитывая что мелкософт это некий говномидас в индустрии, то не удивительно что на выходе будут выходить такие кривые помои как Старфилд пополняя ряды Redfall.    … Expand

    Que merda de jogo, prometeram um mundo aberto com exploração dos planetas sem merdas de paredes invisíveis. Super Buggy super boring. Pela vossa saude não joguem essa merda de jogo.
    Ahhh.... sem contar com os milhoes de loading screens. Que merda de empresa.

    O jogo não é bom em nenhum de seus pilares, combate mediocre, exploração pobre, modelagem dos personagens é uma das piores já vistas dentre os grandes estúdios, não proporciona imersão nenhuma, tanto parte técnica quanto artística são deprimentes.

    Starfield is possibly the most disappointing game of this generation. It doesn't know what it wants to be a space sim or an rpg, as a result what you get is a small version of superior titles. Not to mention the horrible facial animations, and empty worlds. The only redeeming factor is you can basically play it for $1 on Gamepass.

    El juego se puede probar en pc y en Xbox cloud. Gráficos y sonido nefasto.Lleno de tiempos de carga,el menú está mal implementado,la nave y su manejo es cutrisimo.El Gameplay es muy malo. La ia de los enemigos absurda . Es mejor videojuego el Fallout 4 en todos los apartados y tiene un    No es el Juego que prometía Microsoft.

    What does it say about a studio when the parent company proudly boasts that its latest software has fewer bugs than said studio's usual output? What does it mean when you're so used to shipping broken games, you think "less broken"What does it say about a studio when the parent company proudly boasts that its latest software has fewer bugs than said studio's usual output? How much more damning can faint praise get when the discussion of a game’s quality focuses on how it’s less incompetently cobbled together than previous ones? What does it mean when you're so used to shipping broken games, you think "less broken" is an actual brag? Let’s be real, it doesn’t mean much at all when your last game’s level of quality sat at the bedrock below the barrel. To call Starfield the least broken Bethesda game is akin to calling any single TERF the least embarrassing fascist. Then again, given how Zenimax and Bethesda seem to treat trans employees, that comparison may hit too close to home. Starfield’s unintentionally comedic marketing claims might very well be true. It could indeed be, as other reviews have breathlessly proclaimed, “the most polished Bethesda game to date.” That doesn’t mean it’s actually polished, does it? Being the least glitchy game is not the same as being a glitch-free game, and if there’s one thing Starfield ain’t, it’s that. I can of course only speak about my own experience, which has been of a game no more laudable than the digital wreckage that was Fallout 76. Its abundant issues range from the small - enemies getting stuck in doors, NPCs materializing out of thin air, etc. - to the thoroughly horrendous. Really do mean horrendous. I’ve been perpetually stuck on dialog screens, unable to advance a conversation while a character silently gurns at me. I’ve regularly become trapped in my ship’s cockpit, unable to move until I’ve sat back down in my seat and stood up again. Companions have disappeared. Mission-critical enemies have spawned inside walls and rendered almost impossible to kill. I’ve gotten softlocked more times than is forgivable, and I dread to think how much progress I’ve cumulatively lost as a result. By the time the game outright crashed, it felt like hitting the middle square of a bingo card.

    In decades past, Bethesda’s games have gotten away with being busted beyond reason because they were “so ambitious,” but any leeway that might have historically earned has long since dried up. Higher reaching productions from less wealthy companies haven’t been half so defective, not to mention dated. Compared to its contemporaries, the complacency on display is almost offensive. While Starfield’s galaxy is nebulously “big,” its vast array of barren planets populated by recycled assets is absolutely no justification for what this thing truly is - just another buggy Bethesda game following an ancient blueprint that hasn’t evolved creatively or mechanically since Fallout **** 3. On a fundamental level, Starfield plays exactly like any other Bethesda game, only with features borrowed - and subsequently lessened – from No Man’s Sky and The Outer Worlds. The same rudimentary combat (only without VATS to wallpaper over how sloppy it is). The same archaic approach to exploration and questing. The same stilted dialog propelled by non-sequitur exchanges. The same moronic A.I. and robotic animations. The same old narrative cliches in a world of cardboard where every stranger tells you their life story and immediately trusts you with sensitive tasks for seemingly no other reason than the fact you’re a videogame protagonist and they somehow know it. Hell, it’s even got the same worthlessly clumsy third-person mode we’ve seen for almost twenty years, just to hammer home how shockingly little Bethesda has advanced as a creative entity.

    People have referred to Starfield as No Man’s Skyrim, and while some have intended that as a slight against this game, I actually think it’s more insulting to Hello Games’ work. No Man’s Sky at least had a universe you could seamlessly explore, with planets you were able to approach and land on in real time. That was actually ambitious. Starfield’s planets can be flown to manually over the course of hours, but you can’t land on them without a menu, loading screens (get used to seeing those), and dull cutscenes. lso, let’s give the devil its due - Hello Games has worked damn hard to improve No Man’s Sky far beyond its launch version to the point it still has massive summer updates at no extra cost. Bethesda’s so averse to improvement that multiple games released years apart feature the exact same unaddressed bugs. It’s a little gauche, admittedly, to draw so many direct comparisons to other games in a review.

    If you’re the kind of person who thinks videogames peaked with Fallout 3's launch version and they’ve required neither evolution nor improvement since, this game is absolutely for you.If you believe Bethesda doesn’t need to exhibit growth as an artistic outlet and hasn’t had to change a thing about the way it’s made games since 2008, I can safely say you’ll adore Starfield.    … Expand

    World feels hollow and empty and everyone looks similar.

    The dialog seems to be written by AI, nothing is engaging.

    Rotuine -> go to npc -> some dull generic dialog text -> fetch an object -> kill some people -> return -> get XP.

    No tengo un PC ultra moderno. Ryzen 5 3600x 16 de ram y 2070 con esto juego muchos portentos como cyberpunk, RDR2 MFS a 1440 casi todo en alto y bastante fluido. Entre 50 y 70fps esta porquería va a unos 50fps y después se bloquea continuamente. O sea, 0fps. Y tienen la csradurez de decirte que actualices tu PC.. Típico de estos idiotas

    What little battles I have gotten into against enemies isn't anything new or different than from any other single player shooter I have played over the years. I'm sure it gets deeper the more I play it, but I'm not gonna force myself to endure much more of this boring slog of a game to get to that point, so for now I'm just gonna put it down.

    This isn't 2010. A video game cannot get by from just having "nice graphics" anymore. It needs to have a purpose. It needs to have a reason to play it. It needs to be fun. It needs to be interesting and engaging.

    Starfield is none of that. It's the same old boring formula Bethesda has been using in their games since the days of Morrowind. The same robotic NPC AI and lifeless stare-ito-your-soul look on their faces as they half-assedly deliver whatever boring-ass dialog they're supposed to give you. This game FEELS like it was made in 2010, despite it being so "graphics hungry" that it's locked to 30fps on the current generation Xbox. Something that is inexcusable considering how powerful the Xbox Series X is supposed to be.

    I'm glad they put this on the Ultimate Game Pass, because I feel sorry for anyone who actually spent real money on this trashpile.

    2+ years Bethesda has been hyping this game as being the next big thing. It may be big. It may be a thing. But that's about all it is. A Great Big Waste of Time.

    So congratulations on making your so-called "Skyrim in Space", because it's exactly that in all the worst possible ways.    … Expand

Npcs dont even care if you start shooting randomly in the cities. Terrible looting and carrying system. Multiple instances where you go into the same place and fight the same exact enemies. You cannot travel through the entire planet there are many segments of a single planet and there are no any vehicles for traveling. This game is Boring and empty, Graphics are so much outdated, looks like Xbox 360 era game. Whole game runs at 30 fps. I would definitely NOT recommend this game to anyone.     Wasn't the hype build-up/launch letdown era over? We thought it was with this game. As we were told "it was ready for launch 9 months ago!" "But we are postponing it strictly for polish." I had a pre-order paid for on this game. I very wisely did not redeem the registration code. Whew. Because I saw the tea leaves begin to show: AMD FSR only GPU upscaling. So I "pre-installed it." Then the reviews started flooding in and with it the truth of this game. Another very over-hyped mediocre game that made sure it got at least one "very important feature" included. What a joke. Uninstalled. I'm playing Fallout 76 instead. HAHA!… Expand

    It is true that you'll find a good number of barren wastelands with little to do other than extracting some resources and take off to more interesting places, but again it really depends on how you want to play. There's so much to do, so many systems and abilities to explore, missions to complete, spaceships to loot, and species to catalogue, that I honestly don't think there's anybody who thinks that exploring every square meter of this universe is the better way to enjoy Starfield.

    While it has weak spots and doesn’t push many boundaries, Starfield is still an excellent RPG experience. Bethesda has once again mastered the things it built its reputation on – world building, quest design, and deep customization. However, it’s found new things to excel at too, with exciting combat and a novel implementation of New Game Plus.
