    I have spend the last couple of days since release playing this game and i am positively surprised by the huge scale this game has. One of the main critique points was the reuse of the BOTW map but i have to say that it feels vastly different since there is so many new things to discover. Out of 100 I would give this game 95-97 since my main grudge with it and its prequel, the weapon breaking system, hasnt been addressed the way i was hoping for.     What else can be said of the latest entry in the Zelda series? The game is Breat of the Wild, but improved. The building mechanic is just amazing to mess with, the story is amazing and intriguing, with several plot twists. The map is huge.

    Simply amazing game, so much so that it makes it's predecessor Breath of the Wild look like simply a beta in comparison, such as when comparing the Wii U to the Switch, it became abundantly clear that the switch was always made for Link and fans to go travel and explore a vast open full of mysteries and surprises. This may be Nintendo's first $70 game but it's definitely worth every pennySimply amazing game, so much so that it makes it's predecessor Breath of the Wild look like simply a beta in comparison, such as when comparing the Wii U to the Switch, it became abundantly clear that the switch was always made for Link and fans to go travel and explore a vast open full of mysteries and surprises. This may be Nintendo's first $70 game but it's definitely worth every penny if not more, if this is truly nearing the end of the switch's life cycle then this year is definitely a worthy send off.     Amazing follow up to BOTW. I was worried it would be like DLC but it’s more story driven and the changes and additions to the map make exploration feel fresh.

    Il gioco perfetto, migliorato sotto ogni punto di vista rispetto al predecessore. Non c'è paragone con nulla uscito negli ultimi 5 anni e sarà una misura di paragone per il futuro. Nintendo ha ricompiuto il miracolo.

    Excellent game, there is definetely something magic behind Nintendo, they always brings something new and fresh to the table, Breath Of Wild was incredible, but Tears Of The Kingdom took what made Breath incredible ans took it to another level, thr new mechanics for traveling are insane and the creation of weapons definetely brings a new air to this sequel.

    Don’t listen to all those review bombers. I’ll concede to the fact that the $70 may be a bit much for some, but for the hours of gameplay you get out of this game, I’d say is worth it. TotK takes everything BotW had and improved upon almost everything.     Wow. Just wow. If Breath of the Wild won Game of the Year in 2017, and THAT was considered one of the greatest games of all time, then Tears of the Kingdom just blew it out of the water. While it may not be AS fun to explore Hyrule on the surface, it was enjoyable to see what had changed since BotW and how all my favorite characters were doing. The story, while it was also simple likeWow. Just wow.     Graphics - 7/10 - Good Cell Shaded Art Style , Sub 1080p Variable Resolutions, 30fps cap, Blurry Textures, Pop ins present, Decent Draw Distance... you get it Switch Limitations. Gameplay - 13/10 - So much FUN. Nintendo has done so well i cannot imagine to list in this small space all the things they did    This game is an amazing time and fun app to play 100 out of 100 worth the wait.

    Haters going to hate! People are going to critic this game low just because. But if you genuinely enjoyed BOTW, you will enjoy this game too!! Maybe more so. Yes, there are some similarities to BOTW, but I think it is a completely new and exciting experience. There is so much to do and discover in this game. The new abilities are fun to use and fun to experiment with. You can build allHaters going to hate! People are going to critic this game low just because. But if you genuinely enjoyed BOTW, you will enjoy this game too!! Maybe more so. Yes, there are some similarities to BOTW, but I think it is a completely new and exciting experience. There is so much to do and discover in this game. The new abilities are fun to use and fun to experiment with. You can build all kinds of different contraptions and fuse all kinds of things together to have different effects. The ascend and recall abilities are very helpfulI'm genuinely enjoying every second of this.

    The game itself is absolutely stunning and the sound team did an amazing job with sound effects that really immerses you in the world. The underground is one of my favorite aspects of the game. Take every opportunity to explore it! It's MASSIVE! Honestly, my advice is to just have fun with it and get lost in the world of Zelda!    … Expand

    I love this game. I think is a very good game, better than The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It has a longer and bigger world, with a very godd construction. I really love when I don't see any guides or things like that and I find some treasures or thinks like that. It is so satisfying! I really love this game!!!!

    Una maravilla, si ya BOTW era un juegazo este le da dos vueltas, mapa increíble y lleno de vida, apartado gráfico, que obviamente no me refiero a potencia, maravilloso, historia excelente, mecánicas que dan para horas y horas de diversión y exploración, simplemente una obra maestra.

The final boss and finale is maybe the single coolest setpiece I have ever experienced in a videogame. It brings such a sense of catharsis and closure, in a way that very few AAA open-world games seem to feel is necessaryHaving now completed it after about 120 hours: it's my favorite Zelda game ever, and easily in my top 5 games ever made.     El juego está enorme. Las posibilidades son muchísimas, los agregados al mapa base de BOTW son tantos que la exploración está a otro nivel y la historia tiene mas presencia en el juego a diferencia del anterior.

    En cuanto a la experiencia gráfica, creo que está igual que el anterior, pero a mi BOTW me parece muy muy bonito y es un diseño artístico que, si o si, hubiera dejado en una    El juego está enorme. Las posibilidades son muchísimas, los agregados al mapa base de BOTW son tantos que la exploración está a otro nivel y la historia tiene mas presencia en el juego a diferencia del anterior.

    En cuanto a la experiencia gráfica, creo que está igual que el anterior, pero a mi BOTW me parece muy muy bonito y es un diseño artístico que, si o si, hubiera dejado en una secuela. Simplemente es igual o tal vez mejor considerando los mapas del cielo y el subsuelo, y cada uno tiene sus diseños e iluminaciones distintas a las del mapa base. El rendimiento también es igual. Un rendimiento mediano, que a veces tiene sus carencias.

    Las mecánicas diferencian este juego del BOTW. Ambos juegos son muy parecidos (obviamente) pero se juegan distinto. Considero que éste juego es más difícil en su gameplay y así mismo, es mas amplio; cabe mencionar que hay ciertos elementos y mecánicas que extraño de BOTW, pero son cosas que me hacen recordar constantemente que estoy jugando otro juego y no otra vez BOTW con otro título en la portada.
    La historia desde un inicio tiene presencia. Si bien, reconozco y le adjudico un "Pero" al juego, por inconsistencias en la historia y haber recurrido a ciertas modalidades del juego anterior, tambien he de decir que la historia se siente que ocurre dentro del juego y no en el pasado como en BOTW, (que no es malo pero pudo ser mejor empleada).

    Nintendo recurrió a ciertas formas de contar la historia como lo hizo en el juego anterior, pero creo que acá supo emplearlas un poco mejor y hace que el argumento se sienta mejor contado. Te cuentan la historia de una forma mas tradicional y consistente en vez de solo cinemáticas puntuales y cinemáticas en formas de recuerdos (Por supuesto que hay cinemáticas como en el juego anterior pero son más largas, y también hay más escenas dentro del gameplay(sin voces). BOTW se caracterizó por contar la historia a través de recuerdos y los diarios de los personajes mas importantes, y este elemento permanece pero, personalmente, sentí como si el juego me contara la historia de una forma un poco más práctica y directa.

    No creo que la conclusión sea que TOTK es mejor que BOTW, realmente creo que es otra manera de jugar el zelda visto en BOTW.    … Expand

    Absolutely amazing!
    I've been wondering if Nintendo will be able to recreate this feeling of joy and discovery after 6 years, but they delivered flawlessly.

    Performance is mostly fine, squeezing the maximum from the old hardware. I'm already excited about BotW and TotK remasters on the upcoming systems.

    Meiner Meinung nach ein fast perfekter Nachfolger. Mein einziges Problem, dass mich als normalerweiße PS5 Spieler ein bisschen nervt ist eben die Performance der Switch.

They upped their game on dungeons and gave us 4 main dungeons + 1 optional dungeon in endgame. Increased enemy types so much and varied and they actually make us use all game mechanics connected to each other.

    Some people will complain about the 1080p 30fps with dipping situation but lets face the fact that this game running on switch is like a miracle considering they made seamless transition between sky ground and depths + they made loading screens shorter. And the framedrop situation isn't because developers are lazy but they are stuck with an old console. So idk if that should actually affect the "game"s score when its not even games fault.    … Expand

    Tears of The Kingdom conseguiu implementar novas mecânicas em relação ao jogo anterior trazendo uma liberdade incrível. Parte do mapa, que é semelhante ao primeiro, é explorado de outras formas, muito mais livres e criativas.

This is the first game where I truly thought we were going to lose Zelda thankfully the game did get a happy ending and there’s also a secret ending I’ve been playing Zelda since ocarina of time I grew up watching my mom play the first Zelda on the original Nintendo entertainment system, and out of all the sounders I have played. I loved breath of the wild I’m a big fan of open world games. And my top favorite Zelda game is ocarina of time.     Wow what a game! i didn't had very good excpectations for this one bc i wasn't a fan of breath of the wild that much, but this masterpiece is amazing! from the mechanics to the story, i love how it gets you straight up into action with you and zelda searching underneath the castle. Aquí solo tocaré la superficie del título, pero es que la superficie ya es una obra maestra. Empecemos.

    Breath of The Wild es una obra maestra y estábamos asustados cuando se anunció la secuela. Tener miedo era de tontos. Este juego supera en todos y cada uno de sus aspectos a Breath of The Wild. El brazo derecho es la tabla sheikah pero si la hubiese creado Da vinci junto a Eiji Aonuma. Por favor que buena que es. Voy a hablar de cada poder en individual.

    La ultramano: permite agarrar objetos y juntarlos mediante un pegamento mágico. Básicamente, el imán pero todavía mejor. El gran incentivo de la ultramano son los vehículos y gracias a los artilugios zonnan, podemos crear auténticas maravillas de la ingeniería moderna. Esto sumado a un sin fin de interacciones más, hacen de esta una de las mejores mecánicas que he visto nunca en un videojuego.

    De las mejores porque está la combinación. Ahora tus armas pueden fusionarse con cualquier cosa. Sí, cualquier cosa. Esto soluciona uno de los mayores problemas de BotW, la vulnerabilidad de tus armas, ya que aporta más daño y más resistencia. Además, dependiendo de los objetos, el arma, escudo o flecha puede tener diferentes interacciones, dando lugar a un combate mucho más estratégico y amplio.

    El retroceso es como el paralizador pero al revés. Cualquier objeto (menos enemigos) que se haya desplazado, puedes devolverlo a su sitio anterior. A nivel técnico es una locura, pero a nivel jugable es todavía mejor. Expande todavía más el combate y crea un montón de puzzles que se sienten distintos aun teniendo una mecánica en común.

    La infiltración es el más simple de todos. Básicamente, sirve para colarte en techos o estructuras que tengas encima, pero es muy útil y se usa mucho a lo largo del mapa.

    Hablando del mapa, este es doble I (inmenso e increíble). Inmenso porque son 3 mapas: las islas, unos territorios no conectados entre sí con algunos acertijos muy interesantes, la superficie, porque es muy parecido al mapa de Breath of The Wild, y el subsuelo, porque se siente muy distinto al resto y la exploración es muy distinta y estratégica. Increíble porque está genial diseñado en las 3 zonas.

    Los templos son un muy buen acercamiento a los Zeldas de Nintendo 64, pero se quedan lejos de ser como estos. Supongo que porque indican los puntos a los que tienes que ir, en vez de dejar tú que explores. Las boss fights son muy superiores a las de Breath of The Wild, teniendo una variedad inmensa de bosses y usando todas mecánicas que has estado usando en ese reino a la perfección.

    Audiovisualmente, es una obra de arte. El estilo artístico es de los mejores que he visto en un videojuego y la OST tiene algún temita que se te ponen los pelos de punta incluso si eres calvo. Mis 10 en este aspecto.

    Aunque he visto muchas críticas a la historia, a mí me ha gustado mucho. Me parece muy superior en la manera de contarse (aunque sí que es verdad que a veces puede llegar a parecer que ni se toma en serio), en lo que cuenta, en personajes y en todo en general.

    En resumen, juega Tears of the Kingdom. Es que si no has jugado al juego no sé ni que haces leyendo estas palabras. Me da igual que sean 70 pavines, te lo compras y no te va a decpecionar. Tan recomendado que si no lo juegas me enfado.    … Expand

When i got bored in a game i don't usually finish the game. if i like the game i wont held my controller for another game until i finish that game. After finishing botw just few weeks ago and now playing totk, yes it has same feel as botw, the graphicssome people say its the same feel as breath of the wild. Well, it's sequel guys. Im a new player of zelda.. and im really a picky player. But I do have two, very small complaints; I wish there were more sky islands. They advertised them so much, but there’s like ten islands. I assume they are doing dlc, so this is something they really should add. The combat is much better especially due to the Fuse system, the dungeons feel a lot more like dungeons in TOTK compared to BOTW divine beasts and the story is a lot more interesting. Generally there are not many flaws in this game besides that it reuses some assets from BOTW and although the dungeons are solid, they are not as great as some other 3d Zelda. There are also so many exciting side quests in this game as well such as the mazes and the Yiga Clan- most importantly there is so much to do in this open world and so many different environments to explore. Overall an excellent game that is pretty much a masterpiece especially if you enjoyed BOTW.… Expand

    The world itself is also massive. The surface hasn't changed much from botw, but it still feels like a new world. The sky islands are fun, but also a bit of a antic-climax to me. I thought there would be more islands to discover, but there aren't so much. The dephts/underground is massive and full of cool things. It is also overall not scary.
    The bossfights are just good. Maybe it would have been more fun if they were a bit less "gimmicky" but overall they are fun. The enemies are more fun to battle than in botw. Now you do it for the drops so that you can fuse. The enemy variation also has been improved.

    Great sequel that improves on pretty much every aspect compared to its predecessor but is held down by the switch's outdated hardware. No game of this scale has ever handled player freedom better, you're pretty much never forced to things in one certain way. Fans of Ocarina of Time style Zeldas might feel bummed out that it doubles down BOTW's design philosophy though.
