    Litany of bugs and terrible humor (if you can call it that) aside, the game is terribly written with very poor pacing, lackluster narrative, and very flat characters - almost as flat as the world design. Speaking of which, the open world seems empty with barely any random events happening (think Witcher 3, RDR2, Ghost of Tsushima, etc... Goodbye 40 second rule...?).     Giving it a 1 because the combat and atmosphere/visual design is pretty cool, if you can shut your brain down enough to enjoy them. Might have rated it higher if the developers weren't acting like children on Twitter, which put a sour taste in my mouth from the beginning, unfortunately. Not sure how insulting your fan base makes good business sense.

    Shame that developers refuse to learn from others' (much less their own) mistakes - which shouldn't be surprising considering CD Projekt is one of the developers listed for this project.    … Expand

    Saints Row is back and rebooted just in time for 2022 and guess what – it’s a piece of crap. This title stands out to be one of the worst open world sandbox games ever made. The only positives I can give to the Saints Row reboot is the new Santo Illeso location setting and the graphics, but everything else is bad compared to Grove Street Games’ GTA Defective Edition. The bugs are everywhere, the controls scheme is subpar, the combat/shooting mechanics is the same as Agents of Mayhem, and the voice acting is immaturely pathetic. The biggest elephant in the house that made Saints Row one of the most difficult games I’ve ever came across to is its horrendous storyline and godawful dialogue. Once the opening credits roll, you’ll see why this game is really that bad and I have no idea why the writers from Volition gave this a pass in QA quality inspection as it felt written by a retard. Saints Row 1, 2, and The Third did not have that, but the reboot’s depiction of today’s satire in political correctness during the modern-day America did not work at all.     and the map was well made , there are enterable airports , shopping mall at the air port , Mega Giant Shopping Mall in another place , functioning Nuclear Power Plant with functioning Dock , Big prison , Police Station, DJ Bars, Hospitals, Secret Caves , Secret Building of a Creepy Drug Cult and they are selling Human organs and more .

    The Map is Not Only Diverse it was a living open world . If we Move to The Story Part it is Cherry On The TOP . The Antagonist Had Character Arcs same as The Protagonists . There are 3 Gangs and a Corporation called Ultor . Sons of Samedi is the Creepy Drug Dealing Gang they have a little weak side of story but Missions related to em are so Good , Remember Trevor's Sticky
    Bomb Missions in Gta 5 They Steal it from one of Samedi Missions . and Killing one of The Gang Member will haunt you Rest of the game . coz radio stations are its finest in Saints row 2 ,unluckily that Gang member happens to be the Radio jockey . after his death the radio gets owned by an Artificial intelligence which sounds terrible .
    The Other Yakuza Gang ( Ronin ) Struggles with Father son Relationship and Trust me You will feel bad for Them way before you are burying one of of em alive , their Missions are straight From Japanese action movie katana fights , samurais on bikes , blowing this **** out , collapsing building and skydiving damn.

    next one is brotherhood , this gang is basically you are fighting with another your self . it is so Intense so personal there are so emotions on both side it felt great . and there are 4 different combat style .

    the Ultor is some next level @@@@ im not spoiling here experience it your self .

    a part from missions you can buy properties , Work as a Taxi Driver , Body guard of a celebrity , as a medic . fire fighter and a Cop . it had the perfect blend of realism and over the top fun . all of the time i played as the default boss from the trailers so character creation is not a thing for me .

    back in 2006-2008 volition pulled a Gta Rival with That Budget , just imagine what they can do in future if it had a better funding .

    as i said I'm not a fan of character creation in saints row games they out did here , in other worlds they spent all resources on character creation , LGBTQ Rainbow flags and clothing and it reflect that . i would have loved if it had the capability to export these models into Maya/Blender ( Why not Fully Rigged models for a Reasonable Price ) .

    hey Volition you cant make good games you are proving it for almost a decade , Just Step Down The Business and Make Custom Character Creator Blender / Maya / Unreal Users . ill but even it is Yearly Subscription .

I asked for my refund bc this game sucks and I can’t even be nude without feminist and sensitive people getting offended about my character. The gave me my refund and restored my account. The point of why I am arguing is simple if your a feminist or someone who is too sensitive don’t get this game. This game isn’t for people under 18 and it’s certainly not for people who are too sensitive about a video game. There was no reason why my account gotten suspended. The game was meant to play like that. So I am blame deep silver studios bc they should have a filter and say Join NSFW 18 co-op. I also blame the parents who bought this game for their kids and thought it was Minecraft and then they complain on social media saying this game should be banned bc it has nudity and pornography. I've played every saints row before this and i loved the humor on them, they were Wonky but fun. Gameplay was also nicely tuned. Can't express the sadness i feel today after playing 5 hours of this abomination. IfSad to see how they reduce all the IP's you love to garbage.     The developers have publicly stated SR4 was a mistake and they are going to fix that mistake by making the most hyper woke gen z game possible. The game is a soulless pure cringe unplayable mess. Anything even remotely fun has been removed from the game. Every character is unlikeable to the point you will want throw something at your TV.

    Another disappointment in an era of disappointing games. They must have gone on a hiring spree and only picked up mediocre junior devs. Even if all the bugs are fixed you’re left with only a mildly entertaining goat simulator that you tire of after 5 minutes.

Can’t finish missions. Character freezes at checkpoints making you abort and/or restart the game. Missing saves. So bad for 2022 it’s mindblowing. Stay far away.     The game actually ends in 30 minutes. you see the terrible cut scene with 10 years old graphics then you play a couple minutes and delete it because no one can stand this suffers.graphics and animations still in 2010 BUT you can edit a transgender. it is so bad

    On release it turned out worse then we thought, Devs tried to hide it as much as possible with their embargos.     I truly don’t understand the hate. Charming story with relatable characters, cool combat, and easily the best graphics of any saints row game to date. People love to complain but don’t let that stop you from enjoying a masterpiece.

    Stick to the old games, they're more entertaining than this ever will be. Saints Row started out as a GTA clone before it found its own identity, this game is trying to be a clone of a clone and failing. No likeable characters, a lackluster story, and most importantly no Johnny Gat. Save your money you can get all the older games for less than this and be better off for it.

    The world is completely dead, empty and lifeless with no interiors no realism just completely lifeless Worst gun play I have ever witnessed it doesn’t even feel like the bullets are connecting. Doesn’t feel satisfying again feels like shooting in an iOS game.

    Some of the worst driving again I have ever experienced overly stiff heavy driving. You can’t even turn a corner with a decent angle. Now to the story, which is absolutely terrible and woke without forgiveness because gangsters really go larping Don’t they. and then to rub salt in the wounds. After about 10 missions. The whole game is over there is no building of the story you literally do 10 or so missions, and then the end credits roll. Hands down by far the worst game I have ever played in my entire life doesn’t even score 1 out of 10 I highly advise against playing this game.     I've been a huge fan since the first game. I've enjoyed all the saints row games up until now. They game has had many changes and themes but always managed to keep it fun and engaging. This one completely misses the mark. The game is really boring and feels like a really well made Free to play. The city and npcs all seem so unlife like.     Convinced that the positive reviews are from Volition employees. This is yet another unpolished bugfest of a game that needed more time in development. The fact we can’t get 4k60 on ps5 is plain embarassing, and don’t even get me started on the pop in. The story was bare bones, too short and the characters were nothing in comparison to the old games.

Also, if you plan on streaming this and use the "avoid copyrighted music" feature, get ready for a lot of silence. It just turns off all the music stations leaving you with nothing.

    They alienated Saints fans with this dumpster fire PS2 looking attempt of a videogame.

    They replaced all the all the fun, boring and cringy characters that make you want to punch them in the face, a gun play worse than some ps1 games, Outdated physics systems and a miriad of bugs.

    Overall: Avoid this at all costs to show them what we really want.

    The positive reviews for this game (I have nothing agaist people enjoying any game) mostly say don't listen to the hate, it's fun but don't say why it's fun and do not discredit the legit hate.

    Gameplay - inconsistent camera and aiming controls, buggy, poor physics (not even in agood way).
    Story and humor made me sick in my mouth.
