    Played for about 5 hours.... my opinion so far is completely uninspired. Graphic comments are completely accurate ,I have it set on 4k and it's a complete joke..if u figure out how to not make your character look like a troll please let me know...who picked out these presets a virgin in his parents basement ... moronic woke comments are annoying to say the least and the woman's voice inPlayed for about 5 hours.... my opinion so far is completely uninspired. I'll post another update as I go further! And I feel I need to say that saints row 3 remastered is so much better in every aspect. This really is garbage , I hate to agree with the low marks. А сейчас не могу успокоиться второй день, потому что мне подсовывают "СЕРЬЕЗНЫЙ" хреновый сюжет, диалоги не понятные, геймплей не понятный , багов много, персонажи как будто подростки с оружием.

    Если во второй части концепт был крут, в третей миссия с самолетом (я до сих пор помню как рубился целыми днями). В 4 части, симуляция, борьба с пришельцами и общий веселый мир (я даже со стула помню упал потому что какая-то шутка меня взорвала), то тут ничего нет. Персонаж бегает по миру первые пару часов без какого-либо обоснования. А в сумме с теми проблемами которые есть включая малый размер карты. Сложность игры тоже смешная, на нормале в меня пулемет на машине стреляет и мне все равно.

    Я бы поставил 3 или 10 балов если бы это была Sains row, но от Sans row тут только некоторые отсылки и фишки

    Through the couple of hours into the game, it seems clear that the current state of the game feels a little unfinished (bugs, glitches and technical wise). The graphics are ok but does seem a little on the outdated side as a 2022 IP. Despite the evident bugs and technical issues, what kind-of impressed me about the new Saints Row game is the: story, characters and the quirky nature of theThrough the couple of hours into the game, it seems clear that the current state of the game feels a little unfinished (bugs, glitches and technical wise).     I really enjoy this game. I did not have major bugs except in the mission entitled Good Cop/Bad Cop. I had a weird zooming issue when entering a helicopter for the mission. The main characters reminded me of the characters from television show, New Girl, and I was all for it. Some of the storytelling elements are choppy, but I had a very good time with this game overall. It definitely feltI really enjoy this game.     Obviando el tema técnico y de rendimiento en el que claramente no está a la altura de 2022.
    El juego es muy divertido y disfrutable, tiene puntos muy fuertes como el diseño de la ciudad que es impresionante y la variedad y cantidad de actividades originales.
    Argumentalmente es gracioso y ameno como una película de comedia.

    Let me start off by saying, I don’t expect a great story and loads of outstanding dialogue from a Saints Row game. I’ve played every one and while I do enjoy all of them, I mainly play them for some stupid fun after work. This one feels like a Saints Row game, which is great… however it does lack variety in mission structure (both main and side) much more so than other games.     Quite disappointing, I was expecting more from a 2022 release.
    The controls are clunky, the gameplay is very same-same and the story is average.
    I’m playing it because I paid good money for it but apart from the customisation it’s not really that engaging. Buy it on sale.

    I Just ended the game, I know its not for everyone, and maybe not the best sandbox out there, I mean GTA 5 its old and probably better than this game. But Saints Row its a good game in its own way, I enjoyed it and Im thankful with the developer team behind it.

    For the next game maybe would be better to stay true to themselves and the ridiculous over the top comedy and action, stop trying    I Just ended the game, I know its not for everyone, and maybe not the best sandbox out there, I mean GTA 5 its old and probably better than this game.     It is an entertaining and action-packed game. The graphics are pretty okay. It could've been better but it isn't expected from a game like Saints Row.

    It feels like they tried to make it for everyone and didn't want to offend people with the dialogue and some of the gags.     This game really feels like too many voices were involved in the creative process. The action-packed moments are fun to play. It is easy to play this game for hours but you might stop playing it and ask yourself "What's the point." The story isn't there so the other stuff had to be great in order for this game to be really good. Right now it's just enjoyable.

    Hopefully, they surprise us with a great satire DLC.

    Whoever was in charge of creating the moments and dialogue for Saints Row should be for the DLC. I would only recommend this to people that want something action-packed or loves character customization.

    Saints Row the reboot is a great game. I bought it yesterday at 1pm and have now been playing it for over 10 hours. There are some ai glitches here and there but so far nothing game breaking. The driving and shooting feel similar to most saints rows games of the past at least for me. It seems that everyone giving this game a bad review has forgotten what saints row was like before. If you loved the chaotic moments of the old saints rows then you'll definitely like this one. This game doesn't deserve all the hate that it's getting as it is still a great game. Don't let the bad reviews stop you from playing this game if you really want to. It's worth it to me at least so far. There's cool new abilities and cars even have specific challenges so that you can unlock uograded abilities for them as well. They may be annoying to unlock at times but they're definitely useful when running away from the gangs and cops at the same time. Bugs are going to happen in a game but the bugs don't hold this game back from being good and challenging even on the easier difficulties. Saints row is definitely worth trying out.… Expand

    It’s not terrible and it’s not great but it IS ENJOYABLE. My only faults would be enemy sponges and gunplay is bad but it’s nothing that can’t be fixed. Enjoyable sandbox exploration. Serious with a touch of stupid. It’s a reboot not a remake. Not sure if half the reviewers even played it tbh.

    Alright this is going to be a long review and my first on Metacritic. So let me start off by saying this clearly and best as I can. This game is just like every other Saints Row, I've gone back and played them and they all seem this way.

    So lets start here, the story has bad pacing and doesn't really introduce anything. But so did Saints Row 4, 3, 2, and 1. So I won't hold that against    Alright this is going to be a long review and my first on Metacritic. So let me start off by saying this clearly and best as I can. This game is just like every other Saints Row, I've gone back and played them and they all seem this way.

    So lets start here, the story has bad pacing and doesn't really introduce anything. But so did Saints Row 4, 3, 2, and 1. So I won't hold that against it. Since I've overlooked story problems before with better games. The characters and situations are eye roll inducing but so were the other Saint's Row games. Again this is a par for the course setting and take for this game series. I think people either forgot this part. The characters always felt kind of flat or uninteresting to me in the other games. I found plenty of bugs in them as well.

    The bugs don't compare with titles like Cyberpunk or Fallout 76. Or maybe even WWE2k20. Its very alright in terms of its effort and writing. The combat feels a bit dated and the late game isn't very impressive. But to give the game a 1 when that should be reserved for titles like Black Panther. Or games that are utterly broken and worthless.

    While I was hoping for a better game, I believe this is a middle of the road game. To understand why I gave it a 6, you need to understand. It takes a lot more for me to call this a bad game, its just underwhelming and that's it. Some jokes land and some don't, that's the same with every Saints Row.

    So if you enjoyed the past games, this is may be up your alley. I do suggest waiting until the bugs are fixed. Otherwise have a good one.    … Expand

    As I’ve now beaten the game I have this to say... It is a wonderful game full of beauty and fun. They should have waited a bit longer to release it and worked on fixing some issues but it turns into an enthralling game. Saints Row IV was the best in the series to me, but Saints Row V has a ton of fun quirks that you shouldn’t miss.     No, this Saints Row reboot certainly is not a patch on its predecessors we know and love, but underneath the deflating disappointment, lies an open-world game that is still competent, especially if you forget its forebears and look at it as a first-time entry in the franchise.

Gone are the wonderful Saints row crew you loved from the previous games, replaced with generic annoying and seemingly purposely diverse characters that no one seems to like.     I want to give it ten to make the user score more accurate, but I'd be lying if I didn't give it a 5. This game has a lot of potential though. If it just fixed a few important things, it could be a 9/10. For now though, it's still pretty fun. I like the melee in this game and that's a first for a Saints Row game.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. While I am currently playing the new Saints Row game, I have found the game to be quite enjoyable. It is a nice restart to the franchise, the other 5 games had there time and it’s nice to see a new approach to the franchise, if you like the old Saints Row games, then you are in for a treat because this one is just as crazy, wacky, and enjoyable as the others.… Expand

    It's so much fun. Nothing brand new, but also not as bad as the gatekeepers and Karen's have been saying in their hit job of reviews.

    I was happy with the full price, and definitely recommend people buy it when it's on sale.

    It's just about passable for a Saints Row game. It's what you'd expect from the series but toned down and the humor is less on point. The writing (and especially dialogue) is pretty weak in general but there are a few good scenes and missions with amazing set pieces but in general most missions consist of nothing but getting a phonecall and driving somewhere and shooting **** up.     This was my second saint's row game but the first one where I beat the story. I felt it was an enjoyable game but it was trying to please both returning fans and new fans. I found the dialogue fine and a lot of the action and missions fun. Yeah there were bugs but I found them enjoyable and made me enjoy the game a bit more.     It is just the definition of mediocre. As a hardocre SR2 fan, literally top 5 favorite games of all time. There is enough classic SR "things" in this game to make you have some good moments. But it is just the absolute bare minimum. Not to mention for every cool mission, fun activity or spontaneous moment. There is a dozen other things that make me roll my eyes, cringe or just want to turnIt is just the definition of mediocre. As a hardocre SR2 fan, literally top 5 favorite games of all time. There is enough classic SR "things" in this game to make you have some good moments. But it is just the absolute bare minimum. Not to mention for every cool mission, fun activity or spontaneous moment. There is a dozen other things that make me roll my eyes, cringe or just want to turn it off.

    I bet the game. Over 80% completion rate. Did all the side ventures and most of the side activities. Explored a great amount etc. I have no interest to play the game again. Which is sad because Santo Illeso is beautiful. But it is just so damn shallow. Just like the game as a whole, its wasted potential.

    the game is an absolute blast, but its still got some bugs, easy to soft-lock your char by using your ability's too fast and crashes sometimes if played for too long, its not the end of the game, its still a lot of fun and is just, more so an inconvenience, there's some physics bugs that can be fun but clearly although the game feels not fully play-tested, all and all its a good fun gamethe game is an absolute blast, but its still got some bugs, easy to soft-lock your char by using your ability's too fast and crashes sometimes if played for too long, its not the end of the game, its still a lot of fun and is just, more so an inconvenience, there's some physics bugs that can be fun but clearly although the game feels not fully play-tested, all and all its a good fun game that just needs some patching, minor patching, not major, just fixing soft-locks mostly, and adding the ability to land on big tucks, I don't mind the random car launches, that's saints row for you, leaving bugs untouched like that cause its silly and non serious and sometimes useful, all and all just needs patching on the more serious issues… Expand

The story is interesting and enjoyable with numerous moments that will have you laughing. Found it very funny to go into a bar ans beat the crap out of a guy to see the guy vanish, but still see your character attack an invisible person. I know that might not be idle for many, but for some it adds some hilarious moments. This game is definitely not perfect, but it isn't a complete waste either. Characters are enjoyable, side quests are fun [especially Larping] and overall kept me well entertained. Nice to not always have to deal with the **** weapons or the extreme perversion, but something still violent, vulgar, and funny. If you are skeptical wait for a sale, but for me at least, I don't regret dropping the full price tag I paid since I still received my overall enjoyment.… Expand

You people act like Saints Row prior to this was some ultra realistic masterpiece like Red dead 2 or something. No. Its always had mediocre graphics. The gunplays always been meh.     Nie potrafię postawić tej gry obok całej reszty, ale skoro jest to według twórców restart serii, to ocenię Saints Row jako osobną produkcję. Z zalet można na pewno pochwalić mapę, która była mocno uporządkowana oraz schludna, klimatycznie nawet się wczułem. Mechanika edycji aut oraz broni mocno basicowa, ale nie ma co narzekać. Twórcy chyba nie zrozumieli z czego SR zasłynął i czego gracze pragnęli po dowiedzeniu się o reboocie serii. Podsumowując samą grę, mocny średniak.     Оружия в игре много, но всю игру прошел с пистолетом-пулемётом "Томпсон", на последнем боссе ещё 8 раз из гранатомёта выстрелил, всё. Более мне ничего не пригодилось.
    Физика машин ужасна. Они могу летать по полю как голубиные перья.
    ИИ врагов отсутствует как таковой. Фишка полиции это врезаться в тебя со всего маха и тут же взорваться. Никакой мало мальской тактики в их действиях, да и вообще у врагов, я не заметил.
    Ещё на PS5 ужасный звук, мотора машин почти не слышно, звуки выстрелов похожи на майонезные шлепки. А музыка вообще в игре не играет, не во время боя, не во время сцен. Только по радио в машинах.
    Короче, во всей игре мне более менее понравился только сюжет. Для Saints Row очень даже не плохой.
    В общем, хотя конечно не хочется так говорить, но я даже рад, что Volition закрылась. Надеюсь серия Saints Row больше никогда не возродится и останется в нашей памяти в виде весёлой и бесшабашной четвертой части, которая даже сейчас играется намного веселее этого непонятного "ремейка" 2022го года.
    Ещё непонятно почему игра так дорого стоила в PS Store, да ещё и цена на неё не падала почти год. Попробовал её только в PS Plus. А так, Volition, надо было брать пример с Capcom, ведь они свои восхитительные ремейки никогда не продавали за full-price. Если бы вы поступили так же, да ещё старания чуть больше вложили, может сейчас бы ваша студия и не почила в Бозе!
    Короче у кого есть подписка, можно попробовать, а покупать даже не думайте    … Expand

    After many patches and fixes and I picked the game for a fraction of it's price I had fun. I enjoyed the game for the price I paid for it and for around 15$ I had a blast. Open world, wackiness, humour, guns and lots of guns. It's not the game I wanted but ultimately enjoyed it for fraction of it's price

    Really outdated gameplay, Gunplay feels rigid and clunky especially on consoles, and the narratives focus oh the gangs friendship feels unearned. This game would’ve been a hit 7 years ago, but now it feels too outdated and not worth it unless you’re an extremely die hard fan.
