    Worst game of the year, horrible physics, bugs, lots of bugs. The game bugs almost finishing 15/20 min mission and you have to start all over again, repetitive and boring missions. Worst game of the year!

    Obviando el tema técnico y de rendimiento en el que claramente no está a la altura de 2022.
    El juego es muy divertido y disfrutable, tiene puntos muy fuertes como el diseño de la ciudad que es impresionante y la variedad y cantidad de actividades originales.
    Argumentalmente es gracioso y ameno como una película de comedia.

    Let there be a notice for all game developers, you need to stop with the "woke" sh*t and start making us games that are actually FINISHED. this game is buggy as it can be and the frame rate is horrible.
    I do hope they recall everything because this game is terrible.

    The best thing about Saints Row 2022 is that it expertly exposes the shills for what they are. If after seeing the Xbox 360 era graphics, the bugs, the awful dialogue and gameplay worse than the original you still give it a good score. You’re either profoundly stupid or a sell out whore.

    for an open world gangster game in 2022, you cant steal from shops, you cant even gamble and there are multiple casinos, the characters are awful, the missions are repetitive, and the games still has problems even on new gen consoles. do not buy it and if you do pls wait until for updates and discounts, this garbage is not worth full price

    Let me start off by saying, I don’t expect a great story and loads of outstanding dialogue from a Saints Row game. I’ve played every one and while I do enjoy all of them, I mainly play them for some stupid fun after work. This one feels like a Saints Row game, which is great… however it does lack variety in mission structure (both main and side) much more so than other games.     PS5- great game with no technical problems in the first few days of playing. I played many hours and had a great time in this open and crazy world. Perfect game for people who like to shoot and for people who like the extra thrills of an open and big world. I highly recommend it and don't quite understand, some reviews that the game is weak....     It's a fun game, tho not perfect but not many games really are the graphics are gorgeous, the bugs are minimal and the customization is insane, if you like what you saw in the trailers you'll love this game

    I've played this for around 10 hours so far and it is everything I wanted it to be in the most part. Yes, there are a few bugs and glitches that need to be patched, but then that's the same with a lot of games in the early days! I play this co-op and we've had a lot of laughs from the characters in the story and the game itself is very fun. What I like most about it. Is that it has dinar vibes to Saints Row II and The Third before it got really silly. I still played IV and Gat Out of He'll but they weren't that good overall, so I for one am glad to see they've reverted back to driving being more necessary than just jumping really high and essentially flying.

    I'd give this an 8.5/10 but marking as 10 because people giving it between 0-3 on purpose is a disgrace. Even games I strongly dislike I would always rate fairly.    … Expand

    This game made me appreciate the original Saints Row games.

    Previous Saints Row games were way more fun with a friend, but sadly that feature wasn't even stable here. I have no idea if they have fixed that today, since I completed the game solo, but my saint-friend gave up on the game but couldn't refund it due to us trying for too many hours to get co-op running stable.

    And to have NPC body-shaming you when being shirtless or naked, white people puke when they see a shirtless black person, pukes in front of my transgender boss... I guess DeadlySteph, DeepSilver and Volition approves such public behavior.

    The graphics are far from impressive in 2022, even compared to previous Saints Row titles.

    I honestly only hope that this game has proven to the future development of games that we will never see games like this again.

I returned to Saints Row after not finishing The Third and IV, which are probably the worst ones for me because they were TOO MUCH random sh*t especially IV. BUT what I played was really not as tragic as some people put it, I don’t know if it was a bad early copy or not, but i didn’t encounter any real game breaking bugs, the most annoying bug i encountered was that the colors i set for some weapons would go back to default and blurry graphics.

    I hope Volition doesn’t give up, fixes the major bugs and brings great expansions. Under all the hate there is a good and fun game.

    And like I always say/do, never judge a game too hardly by its scores/ratings, it’s all mostly subjective.    … Expand

    When Volition revealed the Saints Row reboot, I was ecstatic. To me the first trailer had captured my attention because up until that point, Volition had never steered me wrong, as I was even a fan of Agents of Mayhem. I defended the reboot for ages. And then it came out. Instead of a story of characters growing into gang leaders and undergoing development, what we were given was aWhen Volition revealed the Saints Row reboot, I was ecstatic. To me the first trailer had captured my attention because up until that point, Volition had never steered me wrong, as I was even a fan of Agents of Mayhem. I defended the reboot for ages. And then it came out. Instead of a story of characters growing into gang leaders and undergoing development, what we were given was a horrible joke of a Saints Row game. It was as if the very heart and soul of the series had been ripped out from it, leaving behind the basic barebones shell of what a Saints Row game could be, instead opting to fill in the rest with some Millennial caricatures that do not change or grow at all over the course of the game and repeatedly made me pause the game to sigh over the absolutely abhorrent writing. The missions are lackluster, the dialogue is absolutely laughable, the radio selection is just downright bad (are you kidding me? No 80's music?) and the removal of staple gameplay features that had been in the series since the first game is just a shame.

    I wanted this game to succeed so badly. I wanted Volition to show that the Saints were still able to be just as wacky and serious when need be. They told us this would be a mixture of Saints Row 2 and The Third, my two personal favorites in the series, but instead they sold us an incomplete mess devoid of any creativity and magic that made those games what they were. Santo Ileso is a beautifully crafted place, I adore it and wish that they had done so much more than what we were given. Because as it stands, we have a big sandbox with tons of customization, but what's the point of all of that if we're just given TWENTY FIVE main missions. A laughable 25 missions, none of which have any of the spectacle or depth or gravity that ANY of the missions in any of the past Saints Row games have had.

    Saints Row 2022 just goes to show that the games we loved are nothing more than a means to an end in today's landscape. I worry for the future of games.    … Expand

    Quite disappointing, I was expecting more from a 2022 release.
    The controls are clunky, the gameplay is very same-same and the story is average.
    I’m playing it because I paid good money for it but apart from the customisation it’s not really that engaging. Buy it on sale.

    I Just ended the game, I know its not for everyone, and maybe not the best sandbox out there, I mean GTA 5 its old and probably better than this game. But Saints Row its a good game in its own way, I enjoyed it and Im thankful with the developer team behind it.

    For the next game maybe would be better to stay true to themselves and the ridiculous over the top comedy and action, stop trying    I Just ended the game, I know its not for everyone, and maybe not the best sandbox out there, I mean GTA 5 its old and probably better than this game.     Here’s why it’s good
    Guns, cars, the player, and a lot of action

    The people who say game trash has not spend a full day or more on this game or just jump the bandwagon to say it’s trash

    Cars: great customization, different options, and a lot of cars
    Guns: different types has perks and has great performances to it
    The characters: funny, cool, I enjoy playing with them
    The map: big, a lot of activities to do
    Story: great storyline I will not spoil it

    Even if the game has bugs all games goes though this on first week and month of release    … Expand

    This game really feels like too many voices were involved in the creative process. The action-packed moments are fun to play. It is easy to play this game for hours but you might stop playing it and ask yourself "What's the point." The story isn't there so the other stuff had to be great in order for this game to be really good. Right now it's just enjoyable.

    Hopefully, they surprise us with a great satire DLC.

    Whoever was in charge of creating the moments and dialogue for Saints Row should be for the DLC. I would only recommend this to people that want something action-packed or loves character customization.

    The Characters are amazingly written. The soundtrack is absolutely fantastic. The world is beautiful and    I think it‘s the best game i‘ve ever played.     I have yet to finish the game (as I'm doing a stream with my friend) but even ignoring the day one glitches which every game has (seriously find a game that doesn't) its a fun game, not stupid OTT like sr4 and gat is but not as gritty as GTA was when saints row first came out, and really on my system looks AMAZING (even at the resolution I have it at for streaming)

Guns are alright but are also fully customizable which makes up for the variety. The city/map is absolutely gorgeous, the attention to detail and cultural influences are spot on. In no way does the city feel lifeless. A lot of returning radio stations, great soundtrack when causing chaos.

The driving may feel floaty to some but after recently playing saints row 3 the driving feel just about the same as Saints Row The Third. This game has the vibes of Saints Row 2 and the gameplay of Saints Row 3. You can tell they took the time to give the world some love. I heard a lot of people say there no land marks in this game. Those people lied. The moment you start exploring the bridges and highways in this game will be more memorable that Saints Row 3, the building will be just as, if not more, memorable as Saints Row 2 building. The variety in the map is a much needed change to the Saints Row series. As far combat goes it feels a lot like Saints Row 3 but the addition of dodge rolling oddly feels right at home in a Saints Row game. The weapons range from mostly realistic to advanced tech. There's nothing to crazy in the weapon options. Pretty much just good old fashioned gun play with a hint of advanced weaponry. The writing admittedly needs work. It has its cringe moments but also some serious moments I wasn't expecting out of this game. A lot of time something happens in the story I'm asking myself how did we get here, why did we just do this, this is such a far leap from where we needed to take this. The same goes for dialogue. I'm asking myself who wrote these cringe lines, why is she talking to me like this, who would ever jump to this conclusion. It doesn't help that the voice acting isn't the best. When it comes to the missions I don't think they are as repetitive as people are saying. I did one string of side missions of my first 2 hours of playing the game and I never got tired of it. In fact I wish there was more of those mission. I will say story mission rely to much on cut scenes and some side missions have bad pacing either being to slow or going by to quick. The grind in this game is one of the best I've scene all year. Different vehicles and guns have perks to be unlocked through either killing certain types of enemies or doing an action a certain amount of times. The leveling up system is pretty lackluster with only 20 levels for you to grind through but the levels make good use of themselves. Offering you perks to equip, and more health. My biggest issue with the game right now is the glitches. I've been co-op with my brother and girlfriend and these glitches are horrible. I was ran over by my girlfriend and brother multiple times because the co-op player icon disappeared in the course of playing the game. It comes back if you die but admittedly if you're not facing down a horde of enemies it's hard to die. My brother has got himself stuck in cars, he's been unable to shoot, and he's been stuck the radio wheel. My girlfriend and I have had missions just completely glitch out on us. This game definitely needed a day one patch to say the least. Altogether I will say this game was $60 well spent. Sightseeing, wing suiting around with friends, being a hired gun on get away missions, racing from the desert to the city, gang wars, the most in-depth customization I've ever scene, the story (when it actually works), the variety in enemies, owning a taco truck, running into gas tanks and instead of exploding your car just goes flying like it did in Saints Row 2 and the hover board. I'm more than satisfied. I can not wrap my head around why this game is getting so much hate. Maybe this wasn't the Saints Row the world was like for but this sets the Saint Row franchise up to have another great peak. I'd say this is the second or third best game in the franchise. I hope this game gets great DLC, and an even better sequel. I want more of this style of Saints Row.… Expand

    This game isn't bad. It's a competently designed but clumsily put-together Gen-Z Power Fantasy. The main thing this reboot does for the franchise is that it takes the story beats from the first 2 games and re-contextualizes them in a Millenial lens. When people complain that this game "wokified" the series, that's what they're talking about. When they're talking about "censorship," 4 things happened. The **** bats are gone, RimJobs and **** were renamed to JimRob's and FB's, and there are no prostitutes. If funny sex and hookers were what Saints Row was to you, then this game isn't for you.

    But that starts to be one of this game's problems, in a marketing sense. The Volition devs spent so much time away from the scene, just to more or less alienate their Hard-R Gamer audience by leaning left for its target audience. This is a necessary calculated risk for any modern AA studio, but in keeping everything else exactly the same they haven't really brought much to compensate for this loss. And that's why this game gets such a bad rep: the only unique thing they have to bring is the most controversial one.

    If you want to hear an actual review about this game, go watch Yahtzee's take on Zero Punctuation; he talks about how this game technically does so many things right but fails to deliver an engaging experience because it's so outdated and derivative to itself. If you're done with that, here are more things to say:

    The game is competently designed. When I say that, I mean the people who laid this game out on the drawing board knew how to design video games. The cutscene cinematography is good. The game systems are laid out well. The graphics are outdated, but the artstyle is fine, and next-gen graphics are severely overrated. The main characters are basically likeable. The writing works. The humor is fine. (I've played Borderlands 3, I know what bad humor and writing in a game looks like, and this isn't it. One key difference being that this game doesn't force you to sit there and listen to people talk before the game lets you play. All the cutscenes are skippable and the dialogue happens during active gameplay, so none of it is intrusive.)

    The issue comes with how all these designs are put together. The programming is embarrassing; I've run into so many obnoxious bugs in my playthrough every day. Clothes and weapons will randomly equip and unequip themselves. Sometimes cars will get stuck on nothing and explode. Sometimes no cars will load in at all. Combat just doesn't work as well as it should at all times. The in-game animations are boring and simplistic. Many side objectives are blatant padding. All of it is sure signs of a game that needed more time and better management, which is likely a luxury the studio just didn't have.

    In conclusion, this game isn't great. But it's playable, and it kills time well. I'd much rather have dealt with this game's **** than any live-service, online-only, subscription-model, you-don't-own-anything ass **** that every other company is pushing into the industry. This game has a kind of simple purity that comes from being from an older and, in my opinion, better time.

There's cool new abilities and cars even have specific challenges so that you can unlock uograded abilities for them as well. They may be annoying to unlock at times but they're definitely useful when running away from the gangs and cops at the same time.     Amazing game does not deserve the hate I can’t put it down the gameplay is so snappy and satisfying the open world is very beautiful and entertaining it feels more rooted to the original Saints games it’s a great time definitely recommend!

    Pretty fun, but very buggy. The gameplay, content, story and humor seem pretty inline with Saints Rows The Third. Note the majority of the negative reviews are deriding the "woke" aspect of the game, which should be a giveaway that none of them have played the game because it's not really a thing in the game.

    It’s not terrible and it’s not great but it IS ENJOYABLE. My only faults would be enemy sponges and gunplay is bad but it’s nothing that can’t be fixed. Enjoyable sandbox exploration. Serious with a touch of stupid. It’s a reboot not a remake. Not sure if half the reviewers even played it tbh.

My and my friend have been playing it non stop since launch and its not gotten boring yet. It has some bugs but not anymore that other titles do now days. Overall a good game.

Since I've overlooked story problems before with better games. The characters and situations are eye roll inducing but so were the other Saint's Row games. Again this is a par for the course setting and take for this game series. I think people either forgot this part. The characters always felt kind of flat or uninteresting to me in the other games. I found plenty of bugs in them as well.

    The bugs don't compare with titles like Cyberpunk or Fallout 76. Or maybe even WWE2k20. Its very alright in terms of its effort and writing. The combat feels a bit dated and the late game isn't very impressive. But to give the game a 1 when that should be reserved for titles like Black Panther. Or games that are utterly broken and worthless.

    While I was hoping for a better game, I believe this is a middle of the road game. To understand why I gave it a 6, you need to understand. It takes a lot more for me to call this a bad game, its just underwhelming and that's it. Some jokes land and some don't, that's the same with every Saints Row.

    So if you enjoyed the past games, this is may be up your alley. I do suggest waiting until the bugs are fixed. Otherwise have a good one.    … Expand

    I am really baffled on the universal hate on this game. It is a good open world game with a ton of fun stuff to do. If you like GTA style open world games, you will love it. I did not find it repetitive at all. The only downside is that the game crashes a lot, but hopefully this will be fixed in a patch. Just play the game yourself before you judge it so harshly.

    I spent almost 40+ hours in this game, the story is good, the missions are insanely cool, I love them.
    The environment in this game is beautiful, it's like walking through an art museum. The graphics here are great, the stunning sunsets and sunrises are just breathtaking. The music is good, I like how they mixed old and new styles, even if I don't really like the new style. The humor in the game is the same as in the previous games. There are bugs in the game, but what game doesn't have them. My point is that Volition did an amazing job.     A lot more fun than I expected. While the map isn't the biggest in the franchise, there is plenty to do and explore. I was concerned that this would lose the "charm" of the earlier entries but that Saints Row DNA is still there. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go back to using a tow line to turn enemy cars into wrecking ball behind my ride.

    I'm such a fan of the series I've even played cancelled and unreleased sr games. And I'm saying it's an awesome game. If you don't like that.....am I meant to care?

    In my mind, does NOT deserve the hate its getting. The game is awesome, fun and indeed 100% a Saints Row game. Granted, it may not be the Saints Row we were used too (SR 1,2,3,4, GOH) but its deffinently a fresh title in the series. I have encounter little to no bugs/glitches, and for me, the game feels EXACTLY how a Saints Row game in 2022 should feel.

    This game is buggy but not unplayable, i find it quite funny, story isn't the best but still enjoyable.. Liked the characters though somel of them lacks the charisma of Gat and Shaundi. The mini games are as fun as usual thiugh the gameplay sometimes is frustrating.

    When i see people bashing this game with 0 rating, it's so exagerated... No game, not even the worst deserves a 0..     Very fun. No deep story, or revolutionary gameplay, just pure chaotic fun.

    This game is essentially Saints Row 3, with a little more polish and visual upgrade.

    I've seen many reports of game breaking bugs, but I've personally not encountered any, but your mileage may vary.

    If you loved Saints Row 3, you'll love this - just don't expect anything different.

    Only a bug or two throughout the entire playthrough so either I'm really lucky or others are exaggerating. The characters were likeable, good customization options for you boss and ride, big city and different environments. I feel like the side quests could have offered a bit more variety or story but some were a lot of fun. If you liked SR4 then I think you'll probably like this one too.

    I like madness in Saints Row series. Interesting additional missions. Best than number 4, but worse than number 3.

    he character creator still shines, but frustrating mission design and a disappointing plot make this reboot difficult to recommend. Far more sinner than saint. [Issue#19, p.92]
