    Lovr how it utilizes next gen performance to deliver a product thats totaly from the future. Combat and alexploration is amazing. Story is solid.

    Game builds upon the 1st in almost every way. Graphics are top notch on PS5 and it runs very smooth at 4k mode. The gameplay is still fun and engaging and the story picks up right where it left off in the 1st one.

    I had a great time in this amazing open world. This game deserves more praise. It is not a revolution by any means but everything is just done really well.

    Pros: - stunning visuals and music. The best looking game I've ever seen. Both from artistic and technical standpoint. - almost every subsystem has been improved in comparison to previous game. Dialogues are better. Cutscenes are    I had a great time in this amazing open world. This game deserves more praise. It is not a revolution by any means but everything is just done really well.

    Pros:
    - stunning visuals and music. The best looking game I've ever seen. Both from artistic and technical standpoint. - almost every subsystem has been improved in comparison to previous game. Dialogues are better. Cutscenes are prettier. Fights has been changed so it is fresh and better balanced.
    - comparing to other games, handling equipment is not so much a hustle. Many things are done automatically or with a single tap. E.g. you see how many items of a type you have when you are browsing merchant wgoods.
    - great open world. Various activities. A lot to do and it does not get boring
    - base and companions with their stories are great addition

    Cons:
    - story is not as engaging as in the first game. The ending feels weird.
    - the world seems artificial sometimes. The tribes which are presented as brutal, are very polite and tolerant when you engage with them. I would say too polite. I would expect more cruelty from them
    - lack of choices. We are just choosing hthe tone of our reply but most of the story will happen regardless.
    - the protagonist is blant and barely likeable.    … Expand

    Absolutely amazing game. Even better than the first one. Aloy's new adventure is definitely one of the best games you can play on PS5.

    Also, for another time, this place is full of xbot trolls, don't bother with the 0s, we know them...

    everything is great in this game. starting from the graphics and ending with optional tasks, it's very interesting to do them. they also improved the interface and improved the facial expressions of the characters, which is very interesting to watch and you don't want to miss the cutscenes. improved combat and skill grid, I recommend it to everyone

    Absolutely stunning. Probably the game with the best graphics on PS5. The world is simply amazing. The story is great, the fights and gameplay is epic. The only thing they should improve, are the face animations, they don't really express emotions well. Other than that, really a great game!

    I have spent over 150 hours in this game and still find enjoyment. The world is absolutely beautiful and such a joy to explore. Newgame+ is as good as they come and burning shores was a fun add on, even if short. I will continue to come back to this game. OH and what an incredible showcase of whT the ps5 is capable of from a graphical standpoint the new locked 60fps mode is top notch.

    Мне очень понравилась эта игра. С удовольствием заработал платину исследовав всю карту. Потратил 171 час, прошел все квесты, улучшил всю броню и оружие. Не понравилось только играть в стычку.

    I really liked the story of the first game, but this one didn't quite engage with me and I'm not very attracted to the future of the main story
    In the graphic section, the detail of all the machines, textures, facial animations and everything is tremendous.
    But having liked the first game, I don't connect with the franchise, it's okay but I think PS5 has better games than this for my taste

    Sacar una nueva ip y que haya tenido este éxito, con este nivel de calidad es increíble. Esta segunda parte de Horizon mejora al primero, y eso que ya era difícil. Gráficamente el juego mas top de toda la generación sin duda, es un placer pararse a contemplar los escenarios.

    Characters are written quite well, Aloy is a bit different than in the first game. A bit more frustrated like "god damn it, i don't want to look at your mushroom store" or "i don't have time for this BS, I'm coming through". It's a behavior similar to mine, as a player - there's the gate, just let me through. Nooooo, you need to complete 54 quests for it to open. Horizon says - fork it, we're coming through. A nice refreshment.

    Fight mechanics as good as in the original game, characters look like real humans, not some bimbos or hunks with 6-packs. No, they look like they would survive in such a wild world.

    The game is big, I've spent over 70hrs, finished the main story and still at only 54%. Lots of stuff still to be done.

    Also... it's visually stunning and I have a PS4. What they achieved at Guerilla with this game is magnificent. I found myself looking at lightning effets (machines light going through high grass which flows on the wind...). Very very impressive.

    I am giving it a 9/10 because of somewhat of a letdown of the final act and not that intuitive skill development trees - similar abilities are enhanced in various places so you don't clearly see the end result of this or other choices you make.

    Other than that - definately a system seller, great adventure which squeezes all of PS4's juices to the max, still enabling stable FPS. This is how things should be done, CDPR :)    … Expand

    IMO this is the greatest game I have ever played. I absolutely love everything. The world my god. The weapons are just great and versatile. The story is intriguing and keeps you wanting more. Characters are also great. I haven't played a game that gives me more pure enjoyment then this game. Had a smile on my face the whole time. GOTY for me.

    Aloy has got to be one of the most insufferable characters ive ever played. Shes acting so cocky the whole game. And her FOCUS does EVERYHING FOR HER. Without the focus she is nothing. GG really thought they created some epic character and this whole game they are just stroking their d***s to how cool she is.
    Her voice performance is mostly good but very often she sounds out of breath even in cutscenes where nothing is happening.

    And i hope you like the focus thingy because youll hear it 500000 times its so annoying.

    People tend to praise the combat. I think its **** Sure the robot designs are incredible. But they dont work in fights. Every machine is way too eratic. Id spend most of the time just jumping in the air to get the slow mo shot off. And they STILL move to fast to aim at specific components. I legit spent 50% of the combat in slow mo and it sucks. The art direction for machines is amazing. For the tribes however... some of the most uninspired designs ever. They all look the same except for their armour color. And they all live 5km from eachother so they dont have any unique culture. Just reskins.

    The cauldrons are good especially the tallneck one. And the map design is great.    … Expand

    I have been going through a tough patch in my life recently, and Horizon has been a beacon of light for me. The beautiful world, the engaging narrative, and the inspiring heroine of Aloy have all helped me to keep going.

    I have always been a fan of science fiction, but Horizon is one of the most imaginative and engaging stories I have ever encountered. The world of Horizon is so rich    I have been going through a tough patch in my life recently, and Horizon has been a beacon of light for me. The beautiful world, the engaging narrative, and the inspiring heroine of Aloy have all helped me to keep going.

    I have always been a fan of science fiction, but Horizon is one of the most imaginative and engaging stories I have ever encountered. The world of Horizon is so rich and detailed, and the characters are so well-developed. I love that Aloy is a strong and independent woman who is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in. She is an inspiration to me, and I am so grateful that I have been able to follow her journey.

    I am looking forward to continuing Aloy's story in Horizon Forbidden West. I know that it will be another amazing adventure, and I cannot wait to see what challenges she faces and how she overcomes them.

    Thanks to Guerrilla Games for creating such a wonderful game. It has truly helped me through a difficult time in my life.

    As for the technical aspects of the game:

    -The graphics and animation are absolutely breathtaking. The motion capture animation direction is perfect. Each cutscene feels like it took a lot of work with its direction. It brings proper life to the characters and makes you care for even the most minor side quest characters.
    -The music and environmental sounds are inspiring
    (There is only one particular minor character whose voice recording had a bit of an echo, but given everything else, this is definitely forgivable)
    -The Combat is intricate, fun, and engaging. HFW now includes in-depth combo mechanics that make each encounter different and highly engaging.    … Expand

    Os cenários apesar de bonitos, se tornam um pouco confusos e "truncados" para se deslocar.

    A fantastic sequel that improves upon the first entry in every way. Characters are interesting and endearing, combat is fun and weapons varied, the story leans further into the sci-fi, and it's _gorgeous_. Would absolutely recommend.

O segundo ato dá-se as missões de maratonas de 50 kms em busca do Aether, Demeter e Poseidon. No terceiro e último ato, aquele em que tendo os 3 conhecimentos, tenta reativar Gaia. Apenas o primeiro ato é bom, depois disso a história prolonga-se por muito tempo, tornando-a aborrecido devido ao vai e vem no mapa e os labirintos das zonas. A sequela de Zero Dawn, onde foi derrotado Hades, procura um backup a Gaia, juntamente com os restantes companions. Como é de um RPG, não recebes nada se não deres nada em troca. Mais tarde descobre que não é o único clone, na qual era refém de um grupo de ricos vindos de outro planeta como refúgio. A história acaba com o plot de que tudo isto não passa de uma história de amor e sem ter nenhuma palavra, acontece o boss final, dando ênfase ao terceiro jogo que certamente será ou noutro planeta ou com armas mais futuristas para combater a plague que está a cair do espaço.

    Gameplay: Jogabilidade excelente, bastante fluída e flexível. Vários equipamentos e armas que se pode jogar com adaptações e upgrades. E ainda se pode usar um visual sem esse estar equipado. A nota apenas não é perfeita por ser flexível demais em certos momentos, se não se colocar bem o posicionamento do botão. A nova adição de se poder voar também é excelente e é pena se receber, apenas, na penúltima missão do jogo. Teria facilitado bastante a exploração do mapa sem se tornar um aborrecimento. Tornaria o jogo mais fast paced e apesar de se demorar um pouco mais a ser passado, havia muito mais imersão no jogo. Contudo, tendo essa máquina disponível para voar, tudo o que ficou por fazer, explorar e o DLC, deixou vontade de ser jogado futuramente.

    Música: Banda Sonora de raiz e efeitos sonoros bons.

    Gráficos: É um dos, se não o jogo com melhores gráficos alguma vez criado. Desde paisagens, a sombras, reflexos e subaquáticos.    … Expand

    freakin MASTERPIECE! This game is top tier amazing. One of the best stories from a Playstation series. The graphics are beautiful. The open world is fun, the controls are tight and responsive. I can't think of a single bad thing about this.

Side quests have always been an issue with the Horizon franchise as most of the time you are tasked with finding a lost individual and rescuing them from the evils found in the vast open environment which can be quite repetitive. However I found myself enjoying the side quests a bit more than the previous installment thanks to being introduced to a variety of different tribes and characters which make these additional stories and encounters more fun and unique. Main storyline reveals new secrets / enemies and we get a better understanding of the downfall of society and the rise of the machines. Boss fights and enemy encounters are more cinematic and enjoyable thanks to the new tools, weapons and combat mechanics. Overall a great experience and a true definition of next gen gaming, I believe HFW is a great example of how to deliver a proper sequel.… Expand

    These games (Zero Dawn, Frozen Wilds, Forbidden West, and Burning Shores) are some of those things.

    Horizon forbidden west is mediocrity at its finest. Although the combat, World, and graphics are great, the characters lack depth, and the story is unconnected and boring. The game feels like it is not a full package, and while I believe there’s enjoyment in this game, I regretfully remember my 35 hours with the game.

    Summary: Overall, it was fun to play to a point where the good gameplay cannot hide the fact that this ultra woke story is not does not fit into that post apocalyptical setting. When this breaks and u still are mid, game the other half is more like a burden. If you compare it to Zero Dawn this is a poor sequel.

    Excellent game and a great follow up to Zero Dawn. Upgrading the climbing to be more like Assassin's Creed or Breath of the Wild would make this a 10, but even this is much improved over Zero Dawn.

    Giving that game anything lower than a 6 is pure hating for no reason. The graphics are amazing, rock solid frame rate, still really fun gameplay which got expanded on and the cut scene and dialog quality has been vastly improved compared to the first game. Solid second entry!

    В игре отличная графика, классные сражения с роботами, есть интересные персонажи и побочные задания. Главный минус — ужасный и невнятный сюжет, по сравнению с первой частью.

    The incredible usage of the Decima engine is combined with horrendous NPCs due to questionable design, hairdos and clothing. Aloy's is also affected by this, especially if you take a look at how beautiful Hannah Hoekstra is, IMO the uglifying process went way too far, no idea if this is due to Agenda or "realism" but the NPCS sometimes look like caricatures and Aloy looks like a developer messed up on purpose with the face of a beautiful girl to content some gamer segment.
    If having such less visual appeal on the NPCS was not enough, their dialogs are dull and the main char is totally one dimensional on her relationships with them, 'I have no time for this'.
    Hence you get disconnected very fast and end up not caring at all about them. This adds on top of a mild main story with uncharismatic new enemies ripped off from Deus Ex Human Revolution.
    Even the decisions that the player can make have no impact and some of the romantic interest you can start get obliterated d by the infamous Burning Shores DLC.
    The mini-games (e.g. racing, arenas) are atrocious and this game really needs a z-targeting system if they want to focus on human against human combats.

    IMO the best moments of this game happen while exploring the map or beating some huge dinobots.

    Also all the patches released until now help a lot on the experience and add a lot of QOL options    … Expand

    a full blown upgrade. The game takes a while to boot up but once it does I was just as hooked as the first game. In my top 5 best games.

    The only complaint is that when I got to the aftergame the game was more chonky than at the beginning. Is it something that has happened to me in many games, too much data for the power of the console?

    this is a big step up from the first one which I already loved, I played it for like 120 hours and I will continue to explore because it's so beautiful !
    the story is amazing, there are a lot of improvements and new scenarios can't wait for the sequel

It's quite buggy and the gameplay feels like Tomb Raider which shouldn't be bad - but you fight mechanical beasts as a Paleolithic woman which still feels goofy. The story isn't so good, the lead character was also made chubbier and given a lesbian romance. This wouldn't be an issue if like most thingsI really didn't enjoy the first one, and playing this one it weren't any better.     My Dad bought the game, he played the first and was hyped - not really a PS person myself but got caught on the hyped and well. Played the hell out of it, my first Platinum trophy and first was impressed.     A worthy successor to Zero Dawn. The story is a little more sprawling, they indulged in a bit of over-padding, and upgrading weapons sufficiently to survive the Ultra Hard NG+ mode is a bit of a grind. But considering I'd rate H:ZD as the best open-world game produced, bar-none, being "pretty good, even compared to that" rates a 10.

    Horizon has enchanted me again. After a slow start, a graphically beautiful, sophisticated sequel comes, polished in every aspect, and underscored by a great soundtrack on top of that. The sequel was simply a success. Everything that worked before works even slightly better now. [Issue#317]

    Horizon Forbidden West is Guerrilla's best game to date, taking Aloy to new heights with a blockbuster release that meets the high standards set by PlayStation in recent years. While it's totally worth fans jumping in on day one, it's perhaps better to wait a few weeks until all the bugs are ironed out.

    Horizon Forbidden West is exactly what everyone thought it would be: an amazing game. It has an open world with plenty of things to do and places to explore, fights against some really well-developed machines and stunning visuals. The feeling is that the second game of the series improves on what was already great, and it feels rewarding and fun to play. It is another single-player masterpiece from Sony.
