    Historia: Sin duda lo que más ansiaban los jugadores era saber el desenlace de la odisea de Kratos en los nueve reinos, aunque se siente un poco apresurada la historia debido a que aquí veremos lo que debió haber sido    El Ragnarök ha llegado y está nueva aventura de Kratos e hijo prometió mucho y para satisfacción de muchos cumplió con su cometido, una gran obra de Santa Mónica Studio.
    Historia: Sin duda lo que más ansiaban los jugadores era saber el desenlace de la odisea de Kratos en los nueve reinos, aunque se siente un poco apresurada la historia debido a que aquí veremos lo que debió haber sido desarrollado en dos juegos, aún así la historia se desenvolverá naturalmente, desde el principio al fin la historia te mantendrá al filo del asiento, pasando por momentos de acción, humor y lágrimas. El final es epico y un gran cierra para la saga nórdica.
    Sonido: Las actuaciones son magistrales y su doblaje al español latino un excelente trabajo. La única voz que tal vez no me convenció fue la de Odin ya que no se parece mucho a su voz original, pero no quita que hizo un buen trabajo.
    En cuanto a la banda sonora es un diez en todo su esplendor, cada pieza en este juego encaja perfectamente en todo momento. Su soundtrack es simplemente algo que podrás gozar jugando o no.
    Gráficos: 10/10 sin duda ver God of War Ragnarök en 4K o 60fps es un deleite visual, cada rincón de los nueve reinos está sumamente detallado, se extraña inmediatamente el modo foto de lanzamiento, aún sin este modo es muy fácil notar el trabajo hecho por el equipo de Santa Mónica Studio.
    Gameplay: La parte más importante de todo juego y claro este apartado no decepciona, si bien es familiar ya que es prácticamente el mismo gameplay de su versión anterior, con algunas mejoras y nuevos modos. La dificultad en el juego aumento un poco más con respecto a su versión anterior, el atacar y hacer combos se siente muy bien, así como matar a tus enemigos, cuyas muertes varían según el arma que portes. Una de las quejas que puedo poner en este apartado es el control Dualsense, el cuál no ha Sido explotado casi nada, si bien la vibración háptica se ve que trataron de implementar la poco o nada se siente el cambio de terrenos o golpes o armas, lo más que puedes llegar a sentir es cuando viajas en trineo y pasas de hielo a nieve a tierra. Los Gatillos Adaptativos son otros grandes olvidados, usados solo para algunas pocas partes del juego y vaya que pudieron ser aprovechados mejor, si Sony no aprovecha su control que me puedo esperar de juegos de terceros.    … Expand

    after playing GoW 2018 and rating it 10 this sequel was very disappointing. the handholding was so frustrating like let me figure out the puzzles by myself. the boss fights are disappointing and its titled Raganarok when in reality you only see and played against him for a short time. The cinematics are too long too.

    El Ragnarok llego y vino con varios cambios y mejoras tomando la base del juego lanzado en 2018, si te gusto el primero este tiene mas jefes finales, subjefes, areas mas amplias que explorar, mejora algunos aspectos de las armaduras y en graficos es lo mas puntero en 2022-2023. La historia cumple pero me parece que se pudo extender aun mas con otra entrega porque el final me parecio muyEl Ragnarok llego y vino con varios cambios y mejoras tomando la base del juego lanzado en 2018, si te gusto el primero este tiene mas jefes finales, subjefes, areas mas amplias que explorar, mejora algunos aspectos de las armaduras y en graficos es lo mas puntero en 2022-2023.     As the sequel to the God of War 2018 reboot, this game has done it again. The story telling and following the evolving relationship between Kratos and Atreus is so captivating. Teaching new lessons to aspiring fathers such as myself. Amazing story, great gameplay, and my vote for Game of the Year

    God of War Ragnarök is a fantastic game that is absolutely worth the money and I personally feel, is a solid contender for the 2022 game of the year. It’s an improvement over everything 2018’s GOW did and it tells a great story. There aren’t many issues with it that have me reducing the score. Even though I am giving it a 10/10, it’s not a perfect game, the last act drags a bit up until the final battles but besides that, it’s an excellent game that is well worth the price of admission. If you’re a God of War fan, you’ve probably already played and conquered it, but if you’re on the fence, I can assure you it’s well worth it and is my personal game of the year for 2022.    … Expand

    To keep it short and sweet. The game is a masterpiece. It’s everything you could ever ask for. And in my opinion it is the greatest game of all time. It improves on everything God Of War 2018 didn’t do too well and did what God Of War 2018 did well, EVEN BETTER. The combat is similar but fresh, the graphics are fantastic and the story is absolutely incredible. 10/10!

    Ese videojuego y Elden ring son los títulos mas sobrevalorados de lo que va del año que en lo personal son un 90 muy justo ni mas ni menos. Por lo que no puedo darle un 9 como nota de usuario dado que hay gente dándole notas imposibles (10) y no reflejando la realidad con ello hasta que no se tomen medidas serias al respecto.

    Hate that people wanna review bomb games especially when it's not often we get great complete games in this day and age. That's what this is, and a great follow up to complete the story of the Norse mythology for Kratos and Atreus. Combat is awesome with more added to it, story just builds off the previous one, Gear and customization has added more to it.     Very solid gamplay and interesting story.
    Previous game was a touch more interesting story wise but I think that's mostly cause it was still fresh and new while this one is building upon previous systems already in place.The new spear is a nice touch. Though I still prefer the axe and blades. Always happy to see a game finished on launch for once. I don't think I saw a singular bug the entire game

    God of War Ragnarök is that kind of game that you’ll probably remember for a long time.
    For me it was the best written game this year, the story takes a bigger scale on Scandinavic mythology comparing with the 2018s game.Also characters from previous game appears and has their own character arc, my favorite among them was Freyas arc.She transformed from a broken woman who seeked only    God of War Ragnarök is that kind of game that you’ll probably remember for a long time.
    For me it was the best written game this year, the story takes a bigger scale on Scandinavic mythology comparing with the 2018s game.Also characters from previous game appears and has their own character arc, my favorite among them was Freyas arc.She transformed from a broken woman who seeked only revenge to a strong warrior who learned how to forgive and become better than she was before.Also ive gotta admit that i liked Atreus more than he was in the fourth game, his humor and relations with other character are awesome especially with Kratos, Sindri and Angraboda.The new characters on the other hand are also awfuly interesting - Thor,Odin,Thrud,Freyr,Tyr,Heimdall -these characters also has their character arc and some of them are even better than some character from previous game.For me the most memorable and amazing character was Thor, his arc and the tragedy of his family was so realistic and so close to me that i really understood Thor and for me even at the middle of the game he wasn’t a bad guy, and his fate for me seemed like throwing a good character into garbage.And of course the the best duo in the game for me is Kratos and Mimir, they are the best characters in the hame for me, and i would be pleased if Christopher Judge would receive a Best Performance award and the Game Awards, after seeing almost everything in this game i could say that he deserves it more than anyone among the nominees.
    The gameplay core is kinda the same as we saw in 2018 game, and for me it wasn’t a problem, because developers merely advanced an already perfect gameplay, and the fights in this game and the difficulty "Give me the challenge" feels really good, except some fights with Berserkers ( the ones with a 3 in 1 fight, and 2 in 1 fight - these are horrible unfair stupid **** fights ), ive gotta admit that direction in the bossfights with Thor ( both fights ), Garm, Odin and Heimdall is fascinating and i could say the these are the most beautifully paced fights for a long time in industry.Also the direction of the cutscenes is taking new heights comparing with the firts game, the cutscenes is literally a pure art and a admire hard-work of the developers from Santa Monica Studios.
    The world of the game also became bigger and there some new activities and new worlds to explore - Vanaheim is the most beautiful among all the worlds and it was a pure pleasure to explore, the same thing i can say about Svartalheim, Alfheim and Midgard.Also the Muspelheim trials became more interesting and fun comparing with previous game, even Thor admits it…
    In the end i have to take credit of magnificent soundtrack written by Bear McCreary, one the best soundtracks that i’ve ever listened to for a long while, he’s soundtrack is so good that even after completing the game and then again listening to the tracks from huge dramatic moments it bringing me to tears just from a track.
    Also after completing this game and obtaining a platinum i could say that it was an amazing and memorable journey that i will remember for a log while, and if this game would get a GOTY this year i wouldn’t be disappointed ( cant say that about the fact if Elden Ring would win, i hope it wouldn’t happen ).But i’m still rooting for Srtay :3

    This product is a hate crime. But even putting aside the malicious insertion of a black girl and promoting miscegination in a game about Norse mythology. It's like smearing feces on Michaelangelo's David. Nobody wants to play as Atreus. He's not a compelling character and the segments with him are way too long

Larger world, many more characters, more enemies, more weapons, different types of upgrades for these weapons including shields and spartan rage. This game solidified a 10 from after the whole sequence where you get the spear, the cool fight with Heimdall you stumble across what seems to be an insignificant side quest that opens up u huge area with many more cool monsters and side quests.… Expand

    Un increíble juego, una gran historia que concluye o al menos eso parece con la historia de la mitología nórdica, aún que después de terminar este juego, siento qué tal vez Kratos ya necesita descansar un poco, muchos sentimientos salieron a flote, no queda mas que agradecer a Santa Mónica estudios por el excelente trabajo que hicieron.

    Es una pena que se haya dejado de seguir el camino del III y que tire mas a ser un uncharted con otra skin, los escenarios son un decorado. Demasiada poca libertad para haber cambiado la formula antigua que tan bien funcionaba a esto.. si estuviese bien echo, pues vale, pero no es el caso. Lo seguiré jugando pero de momento decepcionado, aburrido.

    Le doy un 5 por la historia. El juego no innova en nada, es un copia pega de GoW 2018, incluso se repiten escenarios, los combates son un calco. Manejar un personaje secundario en GoW en lugar de a Kratos es un desilusion total. Atreus carece de personalidad para ser jugado.

    God of War 2018 was a 10/10 for me but Ragnarok feels like playing the second half of the same game. It is almost shocking how little they did in nearly 5 years besides making new dialogue and cut scenes for the story.

Incredible BAD ENDING and bad final hours...i was expecting big fights epic scenes but i just found that..kratos told atreus open his heart to other people...at ragnarok...at the walls of asgard...are you kidding ? I remember kratos cut off hermes legs just to take his shoes...cut off with helios head to light his way..and that is why we loved him...i hated this merciful kratos...yhis SOFT GOD OF WAR...come on guys...kratos had deserves better...only 3 4 people tkae down asgard in 10 minutes...are you kiddimg ??why cory barlog leave directtor :(((he directed god of war 2 and gow(2018)amd this 2 games had maybe best ening in the game history...i was so disappoimted...dont buy this game...… Expand

    The game became much bigger, added new mechanics and a lots of new stuff.
    Although there is quite a few flaws: navigating is broken, sound effects became less prominent and epic. Also story line ended too quickly and kind a bland.
    Overall game is great and worth playing.
    I've got platinum trophy in 55 hours.

    This game is brilliant ! Even better than the first one and I can't wait for what we got installed for the next game.
    Once again Kratos did not disappoint and will probably Will win GOTY. Although Elden Ring has a good fan base the game is very niche and doesn't appeal to the majority of the audience like God of War does.

    Puzzle is not fun or creative, Only have to do is find hidden rune or throw axe with magic. It is repeated until game is over. Is game's name God of Puzzle?     And map design is so suck. When you play the side quest, you have to go different area any definitive reason, even side quest is continued. So players lose their immersed on their side story, Players lose their interest by riding sleigh more than 5~10 minutes . Washington Post said ragnarok's side quest is overwhelm witcher3? That's **** Because i cannot immersed ragnarok's side quest, because it's time waste quest designs.

    Lastly let's talk about chest. Chest is hidden among maps even we play the main quest. The quest is very import or urgent situation, but you have to find chest after battle is over. Some people does not want to find these treasures, but this game is not open world game. If you Strengthen enough your cretos, you have to find chest or you cannot upgrade your weapon, rune, armors.
    Sony want force gamers time as long as other open world game. Because sony must prove the PS5 game is cost efficient product, even sony increase game price over 70$.

    Ragnarok is victim of sony's policy, and could be better game than this. We can meet ragnarok with full of creative rare puzzles, compulsive main quest from start until end of game. We could enjoy 15~20 hours with immersed in this game and stroy.
    But Ragnarok is stil good game, but i am worry about next god of war is not improved at all, except Graphic.    … Expand

    Absolutely fantastic. When I thought god of war 2018 couldn't be topped, this game has all the same great features and impact but does it better in every possible scenario! It made me angry, made me laugh, cry, and just all the feelings in one.

    An improvement upon the 2018 GOW and its perfect. The story, portrayel of the characters and gameplay it just blends together really well and dont even get me started on the side quest they alone constitute a full flegged game and are a sight to behold.     Lack of game evolution overall, Atreus leaving you in the end with only Freya, bugs and slightly glitchy animations at times, weird and un-human-like reactions from some of the characters at times, and a lack of thorough character development of new characters like was done in the previous GOW.

    God of war regresa a lo grande, mejorando en todos los apartados a su antecesor, con un mapeado que se siente vivo y variado, variedad de enemigos y jefes, una música y sonido ambiental extraordinarios y una jugabilidad completamente satisfactoria, ni hablar de la intensidadde la historia, con sus cambios de guión. Sin duda es el techo de la industria de los video juegos.

    the best game I've ever played, the game exceeded all the highest expectations and easily surpassed games like The Witcher 3, Last of Us and RDR 2. and as a fan of Norse mythology, I got a separate orgasm, all the characters and creatures that I was hoping to see, I got it. The plot is excellent, the gameplay is much better than the last part.     Ho giocato a tutti i gow apprezzando il gameplay dei primi,nella saga norrena il combat system a mio avviso assomiglia troppo a ninja gaiden.
    Adottando una visuale di gioco troppo vicino a Kratos ho riscontrato due problemi:la perdita della visione d'insieme dell'azione e un fastidiosissimo punto cieco dove i nemici non sono visibili.
    La narrazione, seppur con un magistrale doppiaggio in italiano, è forzatamente lunga,tediosa ed ampollosa( fatto amplificato dall'impossibilità di saltare i filmati)non ha saputo coinvolgermi, l'esplorazione dei vari mondi ben caratterizzati,risulta molto guidata su binari con livelli molto lineari.

    Graphics are not massively updated but you can see the improvement from the previous game.
    Gameplay is very very good and the action gave me the same amount of enjoyment GOW 2018 did.
    Locations and the view they offered are breathtaking.
    Characters are deep and especially side characters tend to be much more important and interesting.
    The negatives are there for me also though.
    The pacing of the game feels kinda off to me at times.
    Some characters felt much different from what the previous game told us they would be. Like Thor isn't the mental drunk guy who is unstable and a merciless killer. He is seen in the game more like a confused tricked by Odin guy not that unstable and not that unlikeable. Some scenario choices didn't work for me and i would like them to be different.
    The game lacks a bit of the epicness i expected when i bought. They humanise the gods maybe way too much and i also missed a great massive final battle.
    Overall the game was excellent for me but due to some choices that don't leave me absolutely satisfied i have to give it a 9 instead of 10.
    GOW 2018 was a 10/10 for me.

    Thrilling combat, stunning visuals and amazing boss battles.
    But most importantly, a masterclass in storytelling in a video game: capable of making you laugh and cry.
    There are some problems with the pacing in the first half, but the final act more than makes up for it with intense action and touching moments.
    Possibly the best game I played in the last five years.

I missed big chunks of story line because it was completely dry and maybe rushed. It got tiring of battle than puzzle repeat. I know that’s kinda the games thing. But change up some things. Kratos just seemed to give up any spirit of himself you should have just killed him off at the end. Playing as the kid, what’s his name again? Loki? Atraus? I was slugging through that boredom. I don’t have the effort to write more on the subject. The battling was the same as last time. Not much original thought going into this. I feel bad even writing this but it was a huge waste of my money. Lower the price and quick!… Expand

And great combat , in the gameplay you can feel the swinging of the axe and blades , new moves has been added to the gameplay with little action button changes , old gow moves has been added like the gow 3 pull , you can pull enemys towards you , and a sory with lots of surprises , also make sure to do the side tasks while playingA masterpiece game , feels like a great avengers movie !     I find the world and characters interesting, but it's a hard to navigate game and there are to many puzzles for a god of war game in my opinion. Simply falls short of GoW 2018.

    There have been many great video game stories such as The Last Of Us and Red Dead Redemption 2 but this in my opinion takes the cake. Great facial expressions, great dialogue, surprising plot twists, music that helps you feel emotion, and most importantly phenomenal acting. Santa Monica have done an excellent job at making you feel emotion. The only reason this game isn't a 10 is becauseThere have been many great video game stories such as The Last Of Us and Red Dead Redemption 2 but this in my opinion takes the cake. Great facial expressions, great dialogue, surprising plot twists, music that helps you feel emotion, and most importantly phenomenal acting. Santa Monica have done an excellent job at making you feel emotion. The only reason this game isn't a 10 is because it feels like no matter where you go combat awaits and some enemies do not feel like they belong in the realm. Gameplay feels slightly improved, and there are more unique boss fights. The combat is a standout from any game. the depth of the combat and the feeling of every hit is outstanding. The game has a few pacing issues but by this point i want to be with the characters for as long as i can.

    Plus, I kinda already figured that you'd be able to play as Atreus, but I didn't think he'd be so fun to play as! My only gripe is that you can't play as him again once you finish the main story.     Incredible game only expanding upon the foundation the previous one left. The story while being massive does not overwhelm you. An absolute masterpiece.

    It's definitely enjoyable with an interesting story, but the restrictive exploration, samey combat and very american dialogue really bring things down. Definitely recommend it, but other than the story don't expect anything very different from 2018

    Very terrible writing, gameplay sucks. If you like watching movies this game is for you as there is more cutscenes then gameplay.

    I can't help but tip my hat to the entire Santa Monica team. The deeper you delve into the game, the more you'll be drawn into the stunning story of a father and son against the backdrop of perhaps history's most horrific war. Throw in some casually endearing humour, great and fluid gameplay, and wrap it all up with an amazing audiovisual experience. [Issue#323]

    Thanks to an amazing cast that’s doing an outstanding job, a compelling story told through the eyes of multiple characters, and top-notch combat, this epic and heartfelt journey strikes all the right chord. It’s impossible not to recommend God of War Ragnarok, but just in case you had any doubts, I strongly advise anyone mildly interested in gaming to play Santa Monica Studio’s latest masterpiece.
