    8 hours played and 3+ hours of those are only cinematics, a lot of bugs and the phisics are not smooth. I hope more of the game, sadly think that Cory Barlog need comeback to Santa Monica for the next gow

    Me lo he pasado pero tiene exageradas escenas de pelicula, parece un Detroid Become Human. Se juega bien en su jugabilidad y tiene buena narrativa pero aburre mucho porque tiene escenas muy largas y eso hace que uno pierda el interés

    Amazing game with unfinished combat and too much bloat. It would’ve been better had there been more done to make it feel better than GoW (2018). And the amount of bloated content is insane. If you’re coming fresh from the last game you’re gonna be sick of the same combat and enemies quickly

    Poor level design, specifically Vanaheim. Every minute of walking is slowed down just so you can solve a puzzle to progress. Were it not for the 14 million puzzles and long drawn out elevator rides, you could finish the game in 10 hours. The lip syncing is horrendous. They didn't even try here.
    It's almost like witching a dubbed foreign movie. Post game dialogs don't even go with the    Poor level design, specifically Vanaheim.     El peor God of War de la historia, mucho brilli brilli, puzzles soporíferos, falta de sensación de brutalidad, jugabilidad pésima, un inventario infumable, historia pésima, básicamente como cargarse al personaje varonil de Kratos y convertirlo en un frágil.

    This God of war is just a Fake Ragnarok, nothing happens from the beginning to the end and we take no pleasure to play, go take Sonic Frontiers instead, there is gameplay at least there.

By comparison this game is on rails, the dialogue is brutish and rarely interesting.

    The locations are limited and have little actual logic in them - why must I continually do one-way things that show no one has ever been here before, and yet apparently there are people everywhere who must have needed that path. Why do dwarves build extremely complicated machines that DO NOTHING? Why are deserted areas full of lit fires? The walking around is frustrating. What can I go off that ledge? Why can’t I climb that tiny snowbank? Why can’t I get over that tiny branch? Why must I spend half an hour going around?

    Enemies spawn in front of you and then disappear as soon as killed. Loading zones appear every 100m as you crawl through gaps. It’s just all dumb and this breaks the immersion continuously and destroys what story there is. Even the dialogue is so stupid and simple. It’s for kids. It’s like a 90s platformer in 3D.    … Expand

    These Game is Outstanding. It's not in any way a DLC to GOW 2018, cause there is so much done to create it. Starting with a huge variaty of amazingly beautiful, full of life, small cratures, particles and very sharp textures and high resolution. Game starts sslowly, and the further you go, more Action you get, so as Larger enemies, bosses and etc. Story line is very good, and fightingThese Game is Outstanding.     The 2018 GOW was a masterpiece. This game is not, not even close. Character development is so bad it is laughable. Story is simplistic and predictable - and with plot holes, no less. Level design is soo boring.
    There were reports developers panicked half a year ago, being convinced the game was trash - well, it's not trash, but it is very average at best.

    I didn't like the 2018 God of War game. They stripped away so many gameplay mechanics from the og. GOW games and didn't replace them with anything new. I also didn't like the story because it seemed poorly written with a forced character arch for Atreus and with a boring Kratos. This game is just a total rehash of that with similar flaws and full of reused assets.

    God of War: Ragnarök lived up to the hype. It has an incredible story which develops characters in meaningful ways and has many interesting themes such as family or revenge vs. justice. It’s story is facilitated by fun and engaging combat (with lots of enemy variety!), an excellent soundtrack, and visually stunning art direction. In addition, the voice acting and performances are the bestGod of War: Ragnarök lived up to the hype. It has an incredible story which develops characters in meaningful ways and has many interesting themes such as family or revenge vs. justice. It’s story is facilitated by fun and engaging combat (with lots of enemy variety!), an excellent soundtrack, and visually stunning art direction. In addition, the voice acting and performances are the best of any game I’ve ever played. The only issues I have with the game are the few rare bugs like enemies falling through the floor, or Kratos glitching through obstacles. Also, the companions giveaway hints for puzzles way too quickly for my taste. This being said, I got the platinum trophy today and I’m so glad to have played it. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t picked it up already.… Expand

    GOW Ragnarok is a behemoth. Its bigger & better than 2018 in every possible way. From Stunning visuals to Satisfying combat & a gripping story, GOW Ragnarok makes 2018 look like a preamble to the bigger picture. The level design, Traversal mechanism & the usage of weapons have all been upgraded

IN ASGARD. Loki is the god of liar, but the most overwhelming lies were from ODIN. It is NOT a masterpiece, it's not even as good as 3rd or even 4TH. Best bossfights were with THOR AND HEIMDALL. 2 OUT OF ALL. Console players are **** on Elden Ring where I can count at least 4 good boss fights. wtf. How does it work? Wtf is all that stuff with REVENGEeeeeeeee. It's so overused and guys been jerking off to it. It even has no interesting story.… Expand

    The map and the discovery part is really annoying. I am frustrated by the inaccurate compass pointing directly to the wall. Kratos can move the whole bridge by his bare hands but cannot jump from a really short gap. Not a logical game.     The game mechanics are better than those of gow 2018 but they have thrown overboard the incredible story that Norse mythology could give. this game was doomed since they decided on two games instead of three. I feel cheated.
    the 2018 story had just the right level of drama and depth. in this game everything is varnished with an extra layer of crying and well-being

Switching to Story difficulty for bosses fixed it, but normal combat was too easy. In this state not enjoyable as combat is a huge portion of the game. Played Elden Ring and had fun. But in my opinion in GOW it is just bad combatTerrible combat and balancing, destroyed most fun for me.     I purchased Ragnorok right when it launched digitally, thinking, "I must own this digitally because it's a masterpiece," because that's what everyone was saying before the game actually released. Honestly, I should have waited.

    After completing the game in six hours, I was left to stare at the God of War square that’s on my PS5 dashboard. It’s true what everyone has been saying    I purchased Ragnorok right when it launched digitally, thinking, "I must own this digitally because it's a masterpiece," because that's what everyone was saying before the game actually released. Honestly, I should have waited.

    After completing the game in six hours, I was left to stare at the God of War square that’s on my PS5 dashboard.

    It’s true what everyone has been saying before the game was delayed and launched. This is more of a DLC to the previous game than a new stand-alone sequel. There’s absolutely nothing new about Ragnorok. It’s a continuation of the previous game and that’s pretty much it. Sure, you get a new story, but nothing that will make you go “AHA!” There’s no new game play mechanics that will make you lose your mind. Just more of the same as all Sony’s other first party games.

    Does it look pretty on the PS5? It definitely does, but it also looks pretty on the PS4. No different between the two versions. The two versions look identical. The so-called power of the PS5 was not utilized at all. Major ball drop by the devs. The haptic feature is pointless because it drains the battery.

    The story itself is entertaining until a certain point. It’s a rinse and repeat game.

    The moral of the story and lesson learned, wait for a sale for this type of game. The hefty $70 price is not worth it and you’ll get the very same content when it drops to $25 during the holidays. Now I’m stuck with the digital version. Get the game for $25 during the holidays, then use the $45 use saved and get your soul sucked out of you by an OF creator. That’s the best advise I can give anyone that’s on the fence.    … Expand

    In Poland they did **** Game was described as game in full Polish language version. Unfortunally it's only about subtitles in box version. Digital version have subtitles and dubbing. Playstation only wrote on twitter that they know this problem. no "sorry" no estimated patch time, no nothing. They don't answer on comments. **** that. Bought game for full price, have 85% game.

    An overall amazing game. Beautiful visuals and a compelling story combined with some of the best open world level design I have ever experienced. The game allows for a great variety in difficulty, and has a lot of fun mini-puzzles. The game is massive. The amount of work there has been put into the dialogue, realms (the different maps), RPG-elements, and even the tiny details is beyond myAn overall amazing game. The amount of work there has been put into the dialogue, realms (the different maps), RPG-elements, and even the tiny details is beyond my imagination, and it all pays off in the end.

    I spent about 43 hours on the game before I finished the story, as the side quests/tasks flowed very nicely with the rest of the game. It is rewarding to complete the quests and get the gear as well as see how the world changes as it is affected by the quest.

    It is easier to name the cons rather than the remaining pros:
    Some minor parts of the story could feel a bit dragged out.
    Some of the side bosses could feel somewhat uninspired.
    Minor bugs.
    Enviornment is pretty but not interactive (the destructive effects were very limited)    … Expand

    Too much backseating in this game unbelievable and the story lacks originality. There is no freedom to experiment and most of the time the game tells you how to play their game and it feels like you're not in control. It's like a superhero movie with game inside.

    Everything was subpar compared to the previous game. There are a lot of subtle things that made the overall atmosphere out of place.

    Mimir... he was doing the same as before, just more of it. It became boring. He had zero substance to what he had to say and also the mystery is lost, like writers' block assaulted the story writers.

    They added a lot of things/variety from the previous game, that wasn't needed at all. Atreus wasn't annoying, he was just plain naive. Atreus was dethroned by Freya as the most frustrating/annoying sidekick, like an old hag who has to run her mouth no matter what. Angrboda... is the TLOU2 kindergarten element of the game, out of place, unnecessary, ruined the overall pacing.

    Parts where you had to go with Atreus... like someone was sleep deprived and forced to create that part of the game. Unnecessary, filler content.

    Where is the violence? Why is Kratos acting like a lapdog instead of a rabid dog? Why is he swallowing his pride and endure all kinds of trash from retards? Why can't I butcher down I don't like and put the Disney squirrel in a bag, kick it into the nether, then lie to Atreus that Ratatoskr left because he was looking for the ultimate acorn tree?

    The new weapon? Like you are fighting with a needle. Old weps have been mutilated too. The boring aspects and runics are left in, the cool ones removed or modified to be uncool.

    Lots of repugnant characters. Mostly uninteresing new monsters, borderline annoying little retardations one hitting you and the like. Goofyness maxed out, violence zeroed.

    Zero chance to shape the main plot thread, maximum linearity.

    Berserkers? Filler bosses.

    I just don't like when someone forcible defecates down in my throat. This fu**ing with the fanbase thing is the latest norm and to be honest quite dispiriting. There is enough evil sh*t going on in the world, but now that it is also making rounds in gaming space is something that is not taken lightly. AAA games are dead. GOW as a franchise got zeroed for me. I will not replay this abomination that's for sure, and I'm not even sure I'm gonna finish the game. I'd rather play the previous game another time.

    Clearly all the really low reviews are to bomb this game. It's a shame, but that's fanboys & the crazy world we live in. This game is a step above the first game and the fact that it is nominated for GOTY and it just recently dropped should tell u all u need to know. Nothing will beat Elden Ring but this game is close.

    A lot of levels on this game are straight out of Naughty Dog game. Cinematic walk, slow climbing, slow crawling, game takes caontrol out of you often. Atreus levels are boring

    I can't help but tip my hat to the entire Santa Monica team. The deeper you delve into the game, the more you'll be drawn into the stunning story of a father and son against the backdrop of perhaps history's most horrific war. Throw in some casually endearing humour, great and fluid gameplay, and wrap it all up with an amazing audiovisual experience. [Issue#323]

    Thanks to an amazing cast that’s doing an outstanding job, a compelling story told through the eyes of multiple characters, and top-notch combat, this epic and heartfelt journey strikes all the right chord. It’s impossible not to recommend God of War Ragnarok, but just in case you had any doubts, I strongly advise anyone mildly interested in gaming to play Santa Monica Studio’s latest masterpiece.
