    Very boring, very ugly, and very annoying. I loved the original Dying Light and this game is horrible by comparison. Avoid this one and stick with the original.

    Infelizmente a sequência decepcionou na história, arvore de habilidade, gráfico estranho com cores muito exageradas. O jogo peca muito naquilo que é seu diferencial que é a falta de verticalidade pra fazer o pakour. Na segunda etapa a verticalidade aparece, mas ela é sempre mal distribuída. No DL1 tinha altitudes que se você tivesse o gancho chegaria rápido mas não te impossibilitaria deInfelizmente a sequência decepcionou na história, arvore de habilidade, gráfico estranho com cores muito exageradas. Torcemos que no próximo game possamos esquecer esse DL2. E sentir novamente tudo que o DL1 nos proporcionou.… Expand

    Was going to buy it (really enjoyed first Dying Light), but I will not, since personally I do not buy games with Denuvo. I am an honest person willing to pay even full price, not a criminal, and I do not like when someone treats me like a thief or a pirate.

    I honestly didn't see such a stupid story and design, the city in the game is surrounded by huge walls, so people who have lived there for over 15 years have not been able to clean the streets and buildings of zombies but have chosen to live on roofs where trees grow out of nowhere what a idiot directed the game ??

    The graphics are OK, the sounds are OK, the gameplay..ehh..the story.. what story? It's as generic as it gets. The game is super glitchy and unfinished.     The graphics are OK, the sounds are OK, the gameplay..ehh..the story.. what story? It's as generic as it gets. The game is super glitchy and unfinished. The enemies and friendly NPCs all move around awkwardly and unnaturally and the writing is made by elementary school children.

    Is the game fun? Kind of? As long as you can make fun of it and just follow quests WITH A FRIEND. By yourself? Go play Days Gone or almost any other BETTER open world and/or zombie game.

    I also do NOT understand why devs feel the need to add the work f**k into every sentence either. Good writing requires a bigger dictionary.    … Expand

    5. The parkour, the most fundamental part of this game, is wonky at best. Expect to randomly fall (often to your death) just because your character decided to not grab a ledge when he should, or get stuck on a wall because he grabbed something he wasn't supposed to. This is irritating beyond words during any of the myriad of parkour challenges/sidequests littered throughout the game.

    6. One of the choices in the game permanently lock you out of an entire district of the map, and there's no indication whatsoever that this will happen. You can swim in the area to grab a few chests, but it's extremely slow and any enemies or other encounters you would normally run into in there will be unavailable to you unless you replay the entire game and make a different choice.

    7. When an enemy calls for reinforcements, they can spawn out of nowhere right next to you and attack you immediately, meaning you won't have the chance to finish looting that chest or whatever you were doing when it happened.

    8. Human enemies dodge a lot, and they're immune to damage while they do it. It isn't unusual for them to keep dodging one attack after another, and you won't be able to hit them until they decide to stop. You can still hurt them by using AOE attacks (such as grenades) or a ranged weapon, but the former will alert zombies and other enemies, and the latter are extremely rare, have limited ammunition and deal low damage compared to the melee weapons.

    9. Hitboxes are godawful. Even if there's an obvious distance between you and an enemy, they're usually able to hit you with attacks that would be a clear miss under normal circumstances.

    10. There are trophies for maxing out your Health and Stamina respectively, but you can only do one per playthrough, so you're forced to go through the whole game twice. You can kinda circumvent this by save scumming, but that would require you to not upgrade your Health and Stamina until late in the game, effectively locking yourself out of using most of the Parkour and Combat skills and thus make playing even more of an annoyance than it already is.

    I purchased the Ultimate edition when it first launched because I was such a big fan of Dying Light and the Following. This game was such a huge let down. I agonizingly played through the hole hoping there would be some redemption but the story and the mechanics were just awful. Such a let down.

    If you enjoyed the first dying light, you're better off just pretending DL2 doesn't exist. They took everything that was fun about the first one and made it worse in every way. The weapons are not fun. They feel terrible. And everything requires crafting which requires tons of unfun, painful grinding. I even used exploits to speed up the process and it was still a chore.     Very similar to first part except this have incredible over the top whole screen polluting "shine effect" that can not be turned off. 3points for good fast responsive aiming.

    They really tried. Maybe even tried to hard. Nothing to do in the wold. To many rpg elements. It's boring didn't like the story. You need to go to icons on your map to get stuff. Not find a store or a weapon shop and get your stuff. Really liked 1, but this, this is just not worth it.

    I like the first one better. The story is crappy, characters woodden, I just skipp the dialogs. This game makes me turn it off and start the first one. The graphics desing is actually worse despite better performance but this is just thanks to the new console generation

    Okay finished it and I’m lowering the score further, true crap… Lazy writing, glitchy, poor animations, black screens every few seconds in story missions, AI teleporting everywhere… I could go on but just wait for it to be £15.

    There are lots of bugs in this game. Loads of boring fetch quests and colour schemes might give you a headache. This game looks 6 years out of date and I absolutely hated the hand animation when searching bodys or picking up stuff around the world. It just looked so bad. The hands come and search or pick up and you are nowhere near the object. Once again I hated with a passion. TotalThere are lots of bugs in this game. Whoever thought the night-time timer was a good idea should be thrown into a volcano. This game gets an F from me and I have 100 hours in DL1.

    In general its a fun game, but they set the bar high with the first entry and i think the second part cant keep up. The Story plot was more interesting in the first part, but to be fair they executed the Story better in DL2. The map is okay, but i preferred the old map with the dense housing placements. The grappling hook was more fun to use in DL1 then the paraglider in DL2 in my opinion. The changes that bother me the most are the changed physics of combat and the zombies. Weapons were more satisfying to use and zombies had way better physics. One good change was the removal of guns i think melee fits the game better.… Expand

    History ... HISTORY! Oh my **** god! How weak it is! I was hit in the mouth 20 times when in cutscene before I started a fight / duel. Run out of ideas? Any of you play RPG, ever? Your script grind my gears. The NPC loses the radio, so that the opponents can find her trail because of that, and she is using that radio after a few secs - **** logic! You go to the observatory, take strong, special blockers so that all this chemistry does not melt you down in the blink of an eye. What is Lauan doing? She is rescuing you in no time, just like that. But you dear player survive direct hit from fooking missile! Nobody wants to get a skyscraper? You get tired for 20 minutes, then Lauan flies to your rescue and after 30 seconds he is next to you.

    Sometimes I was surprised how the action was going because I chose an answer that completely did not match what happened moments later. Spoiler alert! As with the final scene. And the last boss... the last boss!! I was so BORED! 4 stages of bordom and stupidity.

    The characters are shallow, the acting sucks like hell. The game is too short, the spheres of influence don't matter, the choices are not worth **** and the whole thing just sucks. 2/10 + 1 point for not having Italian language.

Hyping a game for years, showing fake footages/ showcases and releasing it in an half cooked state, full priced should be a criminal act. Another studio that lost my trust forever. I really hope every talented artist that worked on this game will find work elsewhere for a company that cares and has respect for videogames… Expand

    Enjoy many things about the game but graphics are pretty disappointing for next gen consoles. Will just put this one back on the shelf until it's hopefully fixed. Even you haven't bought it yet, I would wait!

    I have finished Dying Light 1 at least 3 times, so i was very hyped for the new one incoming. I didn't expected much, could be even same with new story and locations, maybe improved animations and some more moves. At the beginning i must say that i played just 4 hours, so i finished prologue and i immediately went out to smash some zombies. I knew they deleted ragdoll system from DL1 but i never expect this disaster - now u are just smashing them like in Dead Island and i don't know why it remains me also 7days to Die instead of Dying Light. I have totally no fun in fighting zombie at all, i was just spamming left mouse button and sometimes healing - that's the whole combat system, awful. Fighting against humans is more entertaining than in DL1 but to be honest i think that if they would add pairing to DL1 combat style it would be already better than this. About a parkour - i hate that i can't sprint whenever i want, probably parkour might be better when u unlock more skills but it clearly simplified compared to DL1 i guess just to make game easier for kids (*for me same thing like EA did BF2042) and it feels TOO SLOW. City look's also simplified and i felt like there is just few routes to go when in first one i was making my ones. New night system a.k.a chase stars from GTA might be a not that bad, expect that night in DL1 was so much better. Game lost this atmosphere of danger and the whole game looks totally no sandbox but like scripted RPG game and it's not on Witcher's 3 level. In my opinion they get rid of things that was keeping me in DL1 for years instead they gave my totally basic combat system with lack of animations and changing the all rules how zombie works in sequel compared to original one (zombies are inside at days, leaving at night + u can meet Volatiles when u gain chasing level) are very freakin bad. How u can get rid of core of franchise? I loved the momentum when i saw full streets of zombies in DL1 and i liked to watch when they were falling over everything. Im not gonna judge on optimization but on RTX 2060 on medium-high without RTX i have like 50-70 fps, playable. There are some glitches ofc but they will fix that i guess. What i don't like about graphic, it seems more cartoonish - it's not on Borderlands Level but i prefer more "realistic" DL1 style. City looks imo bad, no chance vs Harran. About music? I don't know, first theme in prologue gave me that minecraft feeling, in best case fantasy RPG game like PIllars of Eternity - but again, world looks so empty like in izometric RPG where only your actions have impact. It's not living at all. For these who liked same things like me in DL1 - think twice about bying it. BTW. better start on hard, there is totally no challange on normal… Expand

    The game is dull. The hud is useless, it kills the atmosphere. The parkour is clearly good. The combat is **** there are no types of attacks. The graphics with its cinematic camera are **** (all soapy), the only vegetation is cool, but not grass.

    After 7 years in development. Multiple delays, and a last final push on building hype. Dying light 2 truly fails to deliver on just about every aspect the first game did.

    Almost all areas of the game have been gutted and what new things they have added are just surface level at best. The movemtent is slower and clunky.     Almost all areas of the game have been gutted and what new things they have added are just surface level at best. The movemtent is slower and clunky. The beloved grappling hook from the first game has been castrated of all forward momentum, and a paraglider has been given as an alternative, which lets you pleasently float around the city safely out of reach from zombies , both of these things spectacularly combine to neuter all kinetic, frantic energy of the chases found in the first game. Night time is less lethal and less scary. They have added a "chase meter" that you need to build to level 4 before it ever becomes a threat. Essentially making you the aggressor and diluting the whole horror experience that night time was meant to be. Want a good chase? Well better go out and make a conscious effort to make as much noise as possible. None of it is organic or naturally occuring.

    the other movement mechanics aren't really built on from the first game so the whole thing just feels like a total downgrade the graphics are what they are. some areas are pleasent enough, others are laughable bad The world feels less alive than ever despite being a city with factions, its less rewarding to explore, more repetitive, and it actually feels like less places are enterable.

All that had to do was make a good story, which they didn't, and import the same fighting with a few improvements an they failed.     The game also leaves you no way to truly max out your character unless your on pc with cheat engine. I really don't see how they are going to make the game better as the story was pretty much trash all interactions are really lame     … Expand

    This game is so good and bad at the time. Full of bugs in coop, Correctly buged in solo. Mecanics just don't match. Your character always attaches where he should not.
    After one episode with the same problems, how can techlands proposes the same unsatisfying gameplay ?

    The Parkour Thing is pretty fun but the Rest of the game is garbage.. the generic World looks always the same , Bad voiceacting and Animation.. the combat system is worse than skyrim.. weapons feel all the same.. the hitbox ist garbage too.. the missions are all the same and the whole night thing is not fun at all...

    2. Poorly optimised- 1080p@60 fps on latest consoles is downright appalling. The graphics are not that good so why is the game so demanding?
    3. Loads of bugs and glitches
    4. Poor mechanics- that too in first person will make you motion sick and might give you a headache.
    5. Lazy Side quests and way too many of them
    6. Combat- it is so bad that you will always try to avoid it.
    7. Too much filler to distract you from the hilariously bad story but even that too is equally bad
    8. And ya.....no HDR
    9. BAD voice acting

    Parkour is nice but it too gets stale after a while

    I usually try to get the maximum trophies I can, for a game. But I just gave up here. I ultimately decided to end the main story somehow and be done with it.
    Such games call for a demo to try the game beforehand.
    DO NOT PICK THIS GAME UP....I cannot emphasize this enough. Many other outstanding games came out around the same time like Horizon Forbidden West and Elden Ring. Try those and your money will be very well spent.

    The game is so incredibly clunky, slow (way too many cutscenes/dialog). The fighting is so lame being RPG style (this one is really tragic because they should have just copied how good the fighting felt from the first one instead of completely ruining it).

    I hope they take this failure and learn from it to do a proper sequel to the first, and realize they don't need high production value cutscenes/dialog/etc, they just need to make the core game fun and let the player *play* the game instead of slogging through a bunch of media.    … Expand

    The latest patch has made a bug laden game completely unplayable in co-op. We just made the chase for centeal loop and not a SINGLE sequence out of the 10 something parts worked. Not a singöe row of code seemed to have been run in the correct order. Co-op was at least working before that patch..

    Wow. Just wow. This took 7 years to make? What did Techland do for the first 6.5? This is NOTHING like DL1. Incredibly bad graphics, sound is fuzzy (and voices echo), dialogue is cringe. This is nothing more than a parkour sim. I'd walk over my grandma's face to play anything else.

    Я играл 2 дня(12часов).. и мне не хочется возвращаться в эту поделку, там нет ничего прекрасного, ни сюжета ни персонажей, всё это есть в GoD4, а паркур есть в других играх.

The bugs are absolutely awful ranging from invisible characters in cutscenes or no audio in cutscenes to the deathloop bug (dying over and over upon spawning) the story is just plain awful when it gets to the end and on top of that for finishing the game you get rewarded with leveling 1/4th of the map by missiles making the areas damn near unplayable and half the map being covered by fog. Honestly such a disappointing experience and I found out that 90% of the side missions are just parkour challenges and the ones that aren’t are fetch quests, so literally nothing exciting and not worth $60. The only thing good about this game is the parkour and the aspect of choosing a faction (which they could’ve executed better). Also the last thing the skull tree is so lack luster it’s almost despicable. Most of the skills you won’t find yourself using and a lack of variety in the skills too.… Expand

    They put on ps5/xsx next gen consoles 1080 60 fps ! this is joke on 4k tv, other modes is only 30 fps this is unplayble in this fast game ! Even on pc with similar gpu to ps5 can use 1440p in high setting and 60 fps ! I buy game on the premiere, but i can't play in this form.

It's a pretty game don't get me wrong but good graphics don't make up for bad gameplay. On top of that, all the survivors and enemies themselves are either weird or just plain dumb as **** They don't at all give you a sense of "oh OK this here is a bad mf I best watch myself now" nah they just drool and wait for you to do stuff. It's just another let down game building off the success of the previous. Everything is like a crappy emulated version of what it used to be, the grapple hook used to be dope like a great value spider man now all the hook does is let you dangle like sweaty nuts on a hot day. Plus their new boomstick replacement for guns is lame lame, where is my golden double barrel? I don't give any ****s about them wanting more medieval fighting or their in-game monument I want a blicky to violate the violitiles.     Rosario Dawson is a stuning exotic beauty, with a kick arse body,, and a chill playfully attitude,  so what do they do to her? they turn her into an androgynous, angry, frankenwahmen. Why would they do this? Well the same reason every other modern studio make woman unattractive!. Its done the ridiculas effort to "avert the male gaze", like their priestess and savior (Sarkesian Anita) demanded.
    I've seen it before and if there is a pinch of progressive Sjw activism on the surface, then there is a pound lurking below..And that's all well and good,  but what I can't get over or suport is who these developers are..They are people that hate us!, hate us for our sex, skin colour  and consumer practices..They hate us on Twitter, in the forums and in their progressive journalist interviews. They hate us and I will never pay people that hate us ever again. So I'm gonna throw the " Ultimate Spiderman "disk in my OG Xbox an play that instead, a game that was made  by people that didn't hate us and had only one goal, to make a game we would enjoy.    … Expand

    The game has open world. But I think missions are very similar.

    Good attention to characters and dialogs. Nice parkur system. Now the bad things. You can't repair weapons. So only way to repair is to upgrade weapon. Upgrades are limited and for most part are useless. So they wasted all attention to weapon design because you use weapons like a junk that will break And you have no guns.     Terrible sequel, the first was so much better. Not sure why they removed all the cool stuff from the original but this game shouldn't even share the same name. Honestly, night time use to fill you with dred as the Virals would hunt you down and chase you, and you stood no chance in hell against them. So going out at night was terrifying.     This game is STILL a broken and buggy mess on the PS5. Side quests glitch and don’t work, the characters are boring, and the parkour (THE WHOLE POINT OF THE GAME) is floaty and a downgrade. This game is lazy and unfinished.

The infected are too easy to fight and usually die in one hit they mostly stand there and stare at you rather than attacking you "Pacifist Zombies" me and my friends call them, Further more the chases at night are also boring, the game just spawns a few dozen howlers in the streets and if they spot you, you usually get a few weak infected that chase you down and do 1HP if they can hit you that is. The Parkour, i die more from weak Parkour physics than i do from actual infected (i've not once been killed or downed by infected) The Running and jumping is great but the actual climbing needs work. All together i don't think this is a game i can be bothered to finish, it's a weak follow up to the previous game which had much better protagonist and characters which were funny and iconic, where as the characters in Dying Light 2 were boring and just had no personality, just like Aiden. also this game is not even pushing next gen standards at only 1080p60fps on Playstation 5 when the console could easily run at 4K60fps… Expand

Как пример, двое мужиков приходят к механику с претензией о поломке брони. Он им отвечает, что он сделал броню из титана чтобы она была прочной и лёгкой и что она не могла сломаться. Те двое ушли довольные с фразой, мол, ладно, проверим. Если вы ничего не поняли, не переживайте, я тоже, потому что все диалоги этой игры построены именно так, а именно очень глупо.
    Сюжет вообще ни о чём, квесты скучные, а финальный босс это какие-то аниме бои.
    Если хотите попрыгать по красивому городу - покупайте. Для других целей эта игра не годится..    … Expand

At least one crash every hour, boring unoriginal campaign, unenjoyable boss fights, repetitive combat. I mean come on, the final boss fight of the game, the culmination, featured a 3 tier boss fight, with the boss reusing the same three voicelines every 3 seconds, about a thousand times, non stop.     Very disappointed they released the game broken. On ps5 you can't play online no co op which sucks as this is a important part of the game.

    Game looks old, writing is really poor, loot and enemies fall through the map, enemies will spawn out of thin air, weapons cant be repaired..like really this is bad game design this game was clearly released broken.

    I wish games were released in a presentable condition these days.

    This is another botched release, akin to Cyberpunk 2077 and Battlefield 2042.

    Unless you want to throw even more money at them, make sure you don't get the special or deluxe edition. You can't redeem the in-game items that come with it.

    Dying Light 2: Stay Human looks more like a DLC to the first game than a whole new one. This does not mean it is a bad game, but it is not one that you should rush to buy. It looks and feels like you are playing the same Dying Light from years ago, and despite the storytelling being solid and entertaining, it is not enough to justify buying it right now.

    Delivering a huge improvement on the first title, but lacking with new features, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is quite fun, brutal, rewarding and a game of exceptional quality when it comes to the open world. Minor issues still exist here, but Techland successfully manages to live up to the hype surrounding the game.
