    Ausencia total de dopamina, ni satisfactorio, ni divertido, ni entretenido. El pastiche perfecto de mecánicas erróneas de juegos centrados en la monetización agresiva sumado a un core que hace aguas por todos lados y una historia que parece sacada del juego más lagrimoso de Annapurna.

    Un despropósito de juego hecho sin ganas que marca el inicio del final de la saga Diablo.

    I'm in love with the franchise from the very beginning, but this has nothing to do with Diablo.
    I could go in to all the details but it gets down to one simple conclusion: it's just not fun to play. The soul has been completely sucked out of it and has become an overly commercial product.
    Time to say goodbye to old-Blizzard and accept it for the company it has become today. I feel    I'm in love with the franchise from the very beginning, but this has nothing to do with Diablo.

    I was a huge Diablo Fan. But this Game is just Trash. They nerfed every fun Part. Explore 4 Dungeons and you`ve seen them all. Did i mentioned the 6 same Dungeonendbosses? Just wait for Path of Exile 2 - lot more to do, lot more fun and it costs 0$. Was my last Game from Bli$$ard.

Never thought that way about a Diablo game before but feels like a potentially great movie with such an awful ending that it ruins the entire experience. I don't want to be Blizzard's beta tester, having spent at least $70 on it; The devs keep changing the dynamics andTwo words. Tedious and Boring! My mistake was not really looking at the reviews or else I would have never bought this. Never thought that way about a Diablo game before but feels like a potentially great movie with such an awful ending that it ruins the entire experience. I don't want to be Blizzard's beta tester, having spent at least $70 on it; The devs keep changing the dynamics and character skill affects to "balance" the game. Constant fear and anxiety of getting your character nerfed! The changes are so extreme that your character easily becomes not very playable all of a sudden after spending hours and hours on it. The same content repeated over and over is simply not very fun. I would, if I could, for the first time in my life, ask for my money back. The devs look at players who are professional or are somehow monetizing their game to react to their setup. Meanwhile 99% of others are repeating the same content over and over.... and over and over. The first season is underway and already feels so lethargic. I invested in D2R and it is still loads better than D4. Don't waste you money on the glitzy graphics if the game itself is not fun and is boring. It's not the same thing as doing Baal or Mepisto runs. Those were fun for what you got in the game. Blizzard needs the "twitter treatment" as in someone acquire Blizzard and fire 60% of the engineers! And I'm a dev myself; that's how mad I feel about getting swindled on D4. 2 star because although the story is weak, you can still play the initial story with any character.… Expand

    Review gets a 1 because I have seen worse. This recent patch however gutted ever class, but the weakest class in the game took the biggest hit. I log in only to find my Sorc doing 80% less damage than before the patch. This isn't playable, and judging at how long it takes them to fix something (if they even fix it), I'll be long done with D4 before that day comes.

    The game lacks so much of the basic fun that you’d expect from this, I honestly feel I have just wasted my life playing it, there's no refund for “time”. The advertisement was so blown out of proportion, that of course, we all fell for it, giving our well earned money over to a company that doesn’t give a single **** about its customer.

    The latest “Devs play the game” video just shows how out of touch this company is, or maybe so in touch that they did it on purpose to give faces and identity for players to blame.

    The only reason I am not giving it a one was because the art and cutscene team did an absolutely amazing job in capturing what the game should be, if only the other departments at Blizzard put even 10% of the effort in as the art team did, they would have a functional game.

    The game play could be fun but resistances don't work and the game play has been simplified to this "is your unstoppable button off cooldown? Then live. If your unstoppable button is on cooldown, die." That's it, the only times you die is when your unstoppable is on cooldown. Very stupid.

    No end game.
    The design of the inventory is absolutely foolish - you collect gear in this game to try new builds but they severely limit your inventory space. They have since went on to complain that adding more inventory space is tough - I will remind us all that Path of Exile exists... with practically unlimited inventory space and that's a free to play game. How is it that blizzard is a multibillion dollar company but can't figure "more inventory" space out? It's because it costs real money to have more server for the storage and they cut corners to save money so f the gamers. Lazy.

    Next is the search function, do you know what it's like looking though 200 pieces of gear to find 1 aspect? Why isn't there a search function for this? It feels like I spend 30% of the time reading to find items I need.

    Most of the drops are utter trash but there is no way to tell so you are forced to read through all of for a possible slight upgrade.

    There are over 50 type of damage modifiers... close damage, far damage, cold damage, frozen damage... this ish goes on and on and on. It's almost impossible to find a piece of gear with exactly the stats YOU NEED! It's frustrating.

    Why would blizzard do this? Because they want to keep you "engaged" and playing. They are wasting your time, treating you like a fool merely to keep you playing because you might spend more money...

    There's so much to complain about but I will just stop. I paid almost 130 dollars for this game and I can say it's worth 30 dollars. Unfinished, unpolished, boring, tedious and ultimately not fun. I won't buy a blizzard product again.    … Expand

Pong has more vision than d4 and the development team are clearly clueless with their lack of direction as they flounder around blithely trying to monitise this game. The devs campfire engagements and youtube efforts to satisfy tokenistic engagement are some of the most cringeworthy efforts I have seen, similar to a petrochemical company explaining how sorry they are for an Alaskan oil spill.     Blizzard tricked everyone into buying their unfinished product based on a level 25 capped open beta test, everyone who bought the game paid to be a beta tester for Diablo IV thinking they were buying a finished AAA title that had come out of beta into release. It isn't until you've played past the campaign that you realize there's virtually no end game. The level cap is 100 but there's zero reason to level past 60 or so because immediately after entering world tier 4 difficulty all the best gear drops for you and you won't see anything remotely resembling an upgrade for another 20-40 levels. The classes are wildly imbalanced and get worse with every patch and hotfix, Blizzard is clearly out of touch with what makes a game fun. They are no longer in the entertainment business, they're in the shareholder business. This is the last Blizzard title I pre-purchase, I've learned my lesson and will wait and see with any new game they put out because Diablo IV was a classic bait-and-switch. They got our money up front and there's no recourse for refund. Lesson learned.… Expand

When its not completely freezing your computer its stuttering and lagging every time you move to a new area or encounter new players.     The season pass has terrible looking items and nothing of value on it (naturally if you shell out $20 you can get some better looking gear from their in-game purchase store). It also doesn't even give enough coins to purchase the next season pass so if you spent money on it that was a solid waste. The customization of characters feels like options you'd get in a title from the mid 2000's.

    The devs clearly don't care, they made great cinematic scenes for a short story and then used those to sell us an indie caliber mini-game. Activision has officially killed Blizzard, its only a soulless corporate entity that will crank out games on schedule to bring in revenue with little care to the functionality of the game or their (now dwindling) customer base. Perhaps if they spent a little less time sexually harassing their employees and put a little more time in developing their games Diablo 4 would have been great.    … Expand

    I made an account just to review this game. I am a 25 year fan boy of Diablo. I really cant believe this is a AAA game. So disappointed, I tried really hard to like this game. Here goes, There are 5 class's which are fun and enjoyable. However when you start getting to the endgame, roughly level 60ish you quickly realize you have 6 spell slots and 3 to 5 of them are Defense as a must.I made an account just to review this game. I am a 25 year fan boy of Diablo. I really cant believe this is a AAA game. So disappointed, I tried really hard to like this game. Here goes, There are 5 class's which are fun and enjoyable. However when you start getting to the endgame, roughly level 60ish you quickly realize you have 6 spell slots and 3 to 5 of them are Defense as a must. There are 15ish Aspects to put on your gear and 10 of which have to be Defense, and Paragon boards were 75% of what you pick is Defense. I thought i bought a hack and slash game. The story is really good and cut scenes, The only thing I could think was that the top 2% who play 10 hours a day rammed though the game and found exploits along the way, and Blizzard crushed everything to slow them down. Sad thing is those 2% don't pay there bills.… Expand

    Can’t forget all the times I was at the end of a dungeon and the server crashed and I had to do it all over again. There are too many of those dungeons to collect aspects (special boosts to certain character attributes and abilities). You may get sick of them very quickly.

    D III was more fun.

They have an awful 40-50 actual skin tiers and the rest give you either little to no platinum or some underpowered ashes that give you single-digit percentage buffs you have to unlock via level.     They turned an arpg looter power fantasy series into a greed grind. This game is good at stripping you of any sense of feeling accomplished, and the money from your wallet with bloated prices for cosmetics that you don't really see very well in an isometric game anyway, season passes which is a grind ON TOP OF stripping your accrued progress on you to force you to do it all again.

    Levels 20-55 or 60 give players a false sense that this is leading somewhere when really, you've essentially played all there is to play by the time you're 60% leveled up.

    This is an enormous problem. I have a level 63 seasonal Rogue, my highest character, because I got bored at 61 on my original Rogue, couldn't get past 55 on Druid because it bored me, and a 45 Sorceress I just don't    Levels 20-55 or 60 give players a false sense that this is leading somewhere when really, you've essentially played all there is to play by the time you're 60% leveled up.

    I don't know how they thought Season 1's gems would change the game in such a way people would be happy about the battle pass or bring people back to the game.

    Then the devs literally punish players instead of enhancing fun with their patches.

    Then they show two devs that are so bad they don't even *accidentally* use core skills or potions like a 5-year-old would if they button mashed, dying in T1 at lvl 55 had to turn off the comments on the YouTube video because Blizzard themselves pushed the negative narrative that devs are disconnected from the games they work on.    … Expand

The battle pass mind you doesn't give you enough to buy the next battle pass nor does it allow you to buy anything of use in the store! Not to mention the dark pattern that exists for controller players where you will automatically click on it by pressing a which is so unfortunate, greedy, and disgusting that they are refusing refunds for the token. Bobby Kotick is the worst thing that has ever happened to gaming. Activision is the worst thing that has ever happened to getting so for them the two forces to be combined is the most shamefully disgusting and scummy company to ever exist. I'm just glad that while I was playing the game I never saw anybody with any purchased cosmetics, and the one time that I did I made fun of the guy. He actually apologized and told me it wasn't worth it lmao. I'm so sad to see the state of gaming nowadays and I'm so happy to see that Baldur's Gate 3 is going to kick the s*** out of you guys for years to come.     In general, the game is very poor, the story is not bad, but the endgame is one of the worst things I've seen in my more than 30 years of playing video games. Many things can be said, but it can be summed up by the fact that it is an extremely boring game, with mechanics designed by children. It seems like a game from 15 years ago, with no content and no motivation to keep playing.

The latest patch is the confirmation that they don't even know which direction to take for improvements. If I could go back in time, I wouldn't buy it, as I won't buy any of their games blindly anymore. Embarrassing for a company of this size.

    Diablo 4 should rather be named as "Hell 4 U". It was funny to play at the start, but lack of content, lack of boss variety, short story, awful season just destroying the experience.
    In case new bosses, activities and season content added I'd likely to get back.
    For now, not playing and even regreting buying it.

I was level 76 by the time I got the unique I need for my build. Quit the next day, why play any more? End game is laughable. They patch the game 3 times a week to fix the issues from the last patch.     Don't buy this until it will get some patches making this game entertaining. Unfortunately, from my experience with blizzard games changes comes usually with paid DLCs...

    Overall story and graphics are on very good level but there is no endgame like in previous Diablo games.

    The customer should get the product the he wants, not be shoved a mouthfull of horse*hit that they think you deserve.

    Kupujesz grę za 350zł, myślisz warto, bo to Diablo 4, a tu jeb, grasz i bug za bugiem, albo balans tak zrypany, że aż boli. Czasami się zastanawiasz czy to jest gra za 350 zł, czy może EA, które powinno kosztować 100zł. Najbardziej żal mi tej kasy na tą grę. Nie jest warta nawet za 250zł w przecenie, co rzucili pod koniec sierpnia.

    Diablo 4 is not a finished game it just a cash grab and play with old fan base nostalgie.

    The game is not finish and feel like it a giant copy past....same cave all over the game.... same dialogue..."" we come to purge the evil blablabla"" same mission, event etc..... they did not take the time to finish the game.... and a diablo game with no diablo exept if you plan to buy the 2 expension...... yeah right i should not have pay the full price of the game (it already discounted and they give bonus xp because so many player left and they hope they will comme back) i wont buy any expension or microtransaction cosmetique.....

    This is not the same feeling like the one i got when playing diablo 1 or 2.....

    Also the drop are so bad.... and when a unique drop you will ger 4 or 5 time the same unique armor.....then you upgrads the game difficulty and you will drop again THE SAME **** ARMOR with better stat for the difficulty ???

    Wtf blizzard you did not event took time to created good loot in the game

    Many classe got nerfed to the point they are no fun and you need to play the game meta....

    You dont have the fun to custum your build like diablo 2 like you could make many different kind of caracther

Even with higher lvl you don't see the power of your character. The only difficulty with bosses is their HP. Nothing exciting. Just long, boring story. I had more fun i ln diablo 3 than in this game.     Very low leveling and also very bad multiplayer... it's amazing that there isn't a more elaborate matchmaking. if you don't have any friends to play with you you are forced to harass every player you come across and send out individual invites. it would have been much simpler for Blizzard to create a matchmaking system for nightmare dungeons. Now that the game has been out for a while I feel absolutely comfortable in writing Blizzard completely off. I'd sworn off Activision and had hoped they didn't get their claws into Blizzard enough to ruin them, but I was wrong. This is a shell of a game with not much content, near no difficulty compared to ARPG's that are much MUCH better.

    Between the dark UI forcing so many players to activate their battlepasses from their version of the game they bought to the lack of content and the poor programming by these developers who seem amatuer at best, the game is a hard pass and needed another couple of years of development or to be handed off to developers that know how to design ARPG's for the 20th century.

    RIP Blizzard. Maybe Microsoft can resurrect y'all.    … Expand

    Diablo 4 was quite fun until the endgame happened, it went from promising to depressing repetition filled with micro-transactions and battle-pass scam tactics. It's just another storefront for blizzard.

    It's clear after patch 1.1 that blizz either has no idea what they're doing or they hate the player base. How else can you explain them making the game significantly worse with each update. Diablo 2 and 3 are a couple of my favorite games ever, but i don't see D4 turning around and becoming great like 3 eventually did.

You either did a terrible job up front on testing or are now doing a terrible job on balance. I believe the latter as there is no need to SLOW down the game this much.     In attempting to be more like each of the previous games it fails to perform in various aspects. The end game content is so poor it look like it's been thought and made within couple months not years. 1 Star only for the visual part, which is decent, overall game is boring to it's maximum levels, repetitive, not rewarding and tasteless.     Itemization is trash. Scaling gives zero progression feel. Loot scales as well so constantly replacing excat same items n affixes. Boring game zero loot excitement. Many problems.

    Defense? NERF Cooldown? NERF XP? NERF Power Leveling? NERF Helltide? NERF

    Sure, some builds needed to be fixed, but you didn't have to completely gut entire classes while you were at it. But the nerfs are not even the point of this post. I don't even care about them. I'll adapt and overcome, I'm not afraid of a challenge.
    But this patch made me really think, why play season 1 at all? You didn't address a single one of the NUMEROUS valid complaints about this game.

    6 new uniques? If you think adding 6 new unique items for every 3 month season is an acceptable pace to bring some depth to the sorely lacking itemization in this game, I might as well not play until season 30.
    No leaderboards? No in game trading with option for self found mode? No paragon board reset? No Occultist changes? (Cost or listing possible outcomes) No group finder? No stash tabs?
    Nothing, in fact. Not a single thing to shine a bit of light on this **** sandwich. You made the game slower. Mobs take longer to kill, yield less xp, and we're now gated to lower world tiers until the "recommended" (now mandatory) levels of 50 for WT3 and 70 for WT4.

    So on Thursday, we're expected to start over, but this time it's all slower, less fun, time & experience gated.
    And all to get to the end and realize what an unfinished and lacking game this really is. Again. Still.

    Maybe if you spend less time trying to "balance" a SINGLE PLAYER PVE GAME WHERE NOBODY CARES ABOUT BALANCE, and more time adding things that are actually fun and immersive, you might sell more battle passes and cosmetics.

    Unplayable in its current state. Probably the worst gaming experience available in 2023. If you do decide to try it make sure to purchase with a credit card. At least then you can get a refund. Blizzard is dead.

    There's a fair bit to like about Diablo IV — best-in-class sound design, intriguing character classes, fantastic graphics and occasionally addictive gameplay all feel like the series in its prime. However, even the best parts are let down by an undercurrent of frustrating design choices: the cynical inclusion of a Battle Pass, a bloated open world, repetitive mission structure and progression that too often feels meaningless cast a long shadow that let the latest Diablo title down. Future Seasons may refine what's here, but many of its issues sadly feel baked into the core experience. All but the most die-hard fans may wish to wait for a substantial sale on this one.

    The visuals are probably what excited me the most. The way the game looks and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm playing the old Diablo again. On steroids and on a quadruple screen TV, but the feeling is still there. [Issue#328]
