1.1 patch is a giant dumpster fire. Anything past level 80 is completely pointless. There have been no meaningful QOL changes that have been desperately needed already, not even but a little over a month after launch. 90% of what the community has asked for has been ignored/communication has been radio silent. I do not recommend touching this game for at least another year at this rate

Blizzard Activision being Blizzard Activision. If you have to withhold patch notes till the last second because you're scared of the reaction, maybe you should rethink the content.

Seriously y'all...you should never ever ever cut this deep this quickly. You are playing both ends against the middle.

For a live service game, having developers that listen to player feedback is incredibly important to it's longevity, replayability, and improving upon the game as it ages. Diablo IV has none of that.

When playing the game expect to to be killed in 1 hit. Or 15 min to kill 1 mob. In a game designed to kill hords of thousands and collect loot before the patch the game was actually fun. Now the game just isn't fun nor worth the effort to pretend that it's fun.

Save your money and time for other games. I have spent more than 240+ hours since launching and really don’t appreciate Blizzard punishing us and take away all the fun by asking us to grind more.. play more hours yet not being rewarded. Changing build is stressful.. stash space is limited..

    Peace out.

It's game is telling you to enjoys your life with other thing and other game. This game has no content. The development team only provide your disappointment. They only know how to find excuse but they would not do anything. (Just like some coworker you have in your life.)

Patch 1.1 makes game fun broken
They could do so much good but I can't exactly explain why Strategically destroys builds instead of customizing them and doing everything to make the game more unpleasant to play...pity

Devs are completely out of touch with the player base. Choosing to nerf everything so the grind is longer because there is a complete lack of endgame content instead of actually adding more content and improving the gameplay loop and itemization. Blizzard as a whole have been in decline there is no more passion and vision in this company.

I'll start by saying I enjoyed my time doing the campaign. And then after that, the game became a grind fest and because I'm a Druid, I got locked out of the best builds(Tornado Wolf, Pulverize) because I didn't get any of the key Uniques needed for them to function. Several issues need to be addressed; storage space, uniques being way too rare to get, and how grindy the game is. AndI'll start by saying I enjoyed my time doing the campaign. Several issues need to be addressed; storage space, uniques being way too rare to get, and how grindy the game is. And then the last few patches made it worse! All classes do/take worse damage, enemies are more challenging and give less experience, and Helltide has been made worse. None of the issues have been addressed and the game has been made terrible right before Season 1. It's tone deaf, feels greedy cause it forces people to buy the battlepass, and even then the game just isn't as fun as it was at launch. I wanted to give this game a chance, but I've had enough. The D4 devs dropped the bag big time. This should've been the biggest game of 2023. Expand

The Devs are out of touch with their user base. What they say about incorporating the feedback from the community versus what the do the game via patches shows this. Gaming experiences often involve frustrating delays that force players to invest more time before they can truly enjoy themselves, making it seem like a broken concept that fails to value players' time and fun.

The game is very repetitive but so is the "ARPG" genre. The difference here is that the loots are very unexciting and makes you wonder why are you are playing it for. Also if the devs just didn't listen to the community for feedback that would be one thing but here not only do they not listen but on top of it they actively go out of their way to make the game worst in every single aspect.

I honestly gave Diablo 4 a shot and defended it, but Blizzard is no longer Blizzard (for a while). A large percentage of the game is reused Diablo 3 assets (monsters and tile sets.) Even the Season 1 theme is just reused legendary gems in D3. It took them about a month to fix the Druid loot table bug and will take them about 6 months to fix broken resistance. There are no role playing since the character identity is depended on items.
The game was fun when the density was high but they kept nerfing it.
All the lasers, the ice wall, the fire bombs, poison pool, ice orbs, fear, etc... on the ground is horrible design... half the time, your character is CC'd and you die.

The last patch just hurt the game really bad. I mean really how we’re going to enjoy the game if you keep nerfing stuff and call it “FIX”. Just an advice please return the last patch and keep everything how it was so we can have a good descent game to play. Thank you Tip:
What you’re doing now is the same thing happened to Roadhog from overwatch, you killed then the community flipped over

There's a fair bit to like about Diablo IV — best-in-class sound design, intriguing character classes, fantastic graphics and occasionally addictive gameplay all feel like the series in its prime. However, even the best parts are let down by an undercurrent of frustrating design choices: the cynical inclusion of a Battle Pass, a bloated open world, repetitive mission structure and progression that too often feels meaningless cast a long shadow that let the latest Diablo title down. Future Seasons may refine what's here, but many of its issues sadly feel baked into the core experience. All but the most die-hard fans may wish to wait for a substantial sale on this one.

The visuals are probably what excited me the most. The way the game looks and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm playing the old Diablo again. On steroids and on a quadruple screen TV, but the feeling is still there. [Issue#328]

Diablo is back, and taking no prisoners. The top-quality, lengthy campaign will be enough for some, while the endgame should prove a welcome obsession for others. [Issue#30, p.84]
