То, как эта история принимает свои обороты - не может тебя не восхищать, иногда - в хорошем смысле этого слова, иногда - нет. Эта играThe Last of Us Part II действительно является самым спорным проектом Naughty Dog, отсутствие Брюса Стрейли сильно заметно, ведь он всегда мог попридержать фантазии Нила Дракманна, также приход новой сценаристки - все это ощутилось на новом их детище. То, как эта история принимает свои обороты - не может тебя не восхищать, иногда - в хорошем смысле этого слова, иногда - нет. Эта игра сюжетно далеко не тот шедевр, что первая часть, но эта игра принесла мне массу положительных эмоций. Нил Дракманн хотел показать, что не все так однозначно, как по-началу думает игрок, что в этой истории нет идеальных персонажей. Но чьей истории человек, прошедший первую часть будет сопереживать больше, той, которая уже стала как родная за эти 7 лет, пусть даже в ней не все персонажи правы, или же той, которая может быть, и правильнее, но которая нова для нас? Рассказывать про сюжет можно многое, но он действительно неплох, учтите, не шедеврален, а неплох. Но вот в чем-чем, а в геймплейной части игра стала на голову выше, да, основа у него одна, и я не понимаю людей, которые ругают эту игру за устаревший геймплей, а какой геймплей вы хотите, это тот же The Last of Us, который многим понравился, из-за своего геймплея (да, я знаю, что там не переднем плане все-же история). В сиквеле появился "вертикальный" геймплей, взятый по большей части из Uncharted, где он весьма неплох, теперь можно заползать под некоторые объекты, добавили траву разной высоты, и эта трава не такая, как, допустим в Asassin's Creed, где враг может вплотную стоять к главному герою, и не замечать его, в TLoU2 тебя спокойно могут заметить в траве с близкого расстояния, а целиться, если противник смотрит в твою сторону - еще опаснее. Касательно ИИ, он здесь стал на уровень выше, противники не стали, конечно, намного умнее из первой части, но вот если они знают от вашем присутствии, они начинают ходить не по своему обычному маршруту, а разбредаются по всей карте, точно так же и с зараженными. Появились новые очень опасные твари - шаркуны, каждая встреча с ними в игре, довольно неприятная, ибо они живучие. В игре несколько раз встретится старый-добрый топляк. Выглядеть он стал куда страшнее, а главное - теперь это как целый босс, он стал намного выносливее, и может поглотить огромнейший урон, так же в игре есть парочка еще более ужасный тварей, но о них рассказывать я не стану, ибо это с такими лучше повстречаться самому - чувства будут острее. Эта игра просто необходима к покупке, если вам нравится первая часть, она, может сюжетно и не шедевр, как ожидало большое количество людей, и их негодование можно понять, решения, принятые разработчиками очень смелые, но игра не заслуживает таких низких оценок от людей, по-большей части не прошедших ее, а просто последовавших стаду.… Expand

    Where do i start umm the visuals and game-play was nice, i loved the combat mechanics i beat it twice might as well platinum it while i got it lol. the ending i just couldn't get with it, i liked Jesse and Dina, Owen was probably the only one i kinda like from abby group i'll give it a 6.9 at least but it should be lower the Joel stuff hurt me and the score the story should had be done better!!

    I know there are gonna be fanboys of this game who despise me because of this. But let me tell you, I did not like this game. I didn’t exactly hate it, but I can tell you right now, this game ruined the first for me. As much as I want to diss this game, I have almost no time on my hands, so I’m gonna make it really short.

    This game’s story absolutely sucked. Its not what the first game was. Instead of following a relationship that set the story, it feels like I’m watching a movie, which is not good. Its like the characters read a script and acted out their roles perfectly. The game’s ending hurt even more since not only did I hate Ellie by the end of it, it was the equivalent of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst’s ending, where you technically didn’t accomplish **** I know the message is revenge is bad, but that’s a damn lie. I never had any consequences when I seeked revenge, and I always got my revenge, so Ellie ain’t **** compared to me (I like to make jokes.) Now, can we talk about how the game tried to push an agenda? I don’t play games to be taught a lesson or have something pushed to me, I play to have fun (or I guess not fun, but engaging since Naughty Dog banned the word fun) but this wasn’t fun at all. I don’t care if its story driven, I just want a good time, and this game just left me wondering if Naughty Dog would ever come back from it.    … Expand

    This is easily one of the best games I’ve ever played. I watch a lot of TV and movies, read a lot of books and play a lot of games, and this wasn’t just one of the best stories I’ve ever experienced in a game, it was one of the best stories I’ve experienced period. This story and it’s characters connected with me on a level that few things I’ve ever watched, played, or read have done. TheThis is easily one of the best games I’ve ever played. I watch a lot of TV and movies, read a lot of books and play a lot of games, and this wasn’t just one of the best stories I’ve ever experienced in a game, it was one of the best stories I’ve experienced period. This story and it’s characters connected with me on a level that few things I’ve ever watched, played, or read have done. The gameplay is fun and challenging and offers many different approaches to each situation you encounter. I couldn’t recommend this game more. If you’re a fan of The Last of Us and it’s characters you will love Part 2. And if you haven’t played the first game, get out of here and go play it now!… Expand

    I’m so mad that this game is so near being great Its graphics are crazy, combat is a nice improvement, characters are enjoyable but kind of forced. but the story feels all over the place and somewhat rushed.     Sem dúvidas uma obra prima, o primeiro era o meu favorito até o part 2 chegar, ele está totalmente fora da realidade de qlqr outro jogo, com uma trama única e madura e totalmente emocionante, jogabilidade, história, gráficos e trilha sonora, tudo perfeito!!! O jogo do ano, década.... Do milênio!!!

    1. If you've played the 1st game and you love it. Keep those memories. Don't buy the part 2. I suggest you rent or buy 2nd hand from someone online. Take your time playing the game and accept the fact that gameplay is important than storyline, if that works for you. Or just bare with it. Or better yet, skip it. Yes, like this is an actual warning, If you're kind of attached to the previous characters. You won't like what naughty dog did to them now. It's has little to no moral value in this release compares to its predecessor. I enjoy the game but the story ruins it.

    2. If you never played the 1st game or don't really care about the story line, by all means please do get it. It's a very good game. Now Ellie can jump (That jumping animation tho,I giggled a bit). The graphics, what can I say.. Triple A game has the best graphic. What else to add?.. The map, yes. Its big. (Skyrim got big map). The graphic. I've mentioned that. It's good. Yes. Its good game. Gameplay is sometimes is important than the storyline.

    Note - This game is not for everyone. It is not because of the adult theme or gory and brutal content/game play. Some might say or relate it with the Star Wars franchise...The story line. It's bad, really, really bad and it doesn't add up.
    Not going to spoiled it. But if you're interested and don't mind with spoilers you can find reviews, react or walkthrough online.

    I avoided the spoilers because I thought it was fake I believe Naughty dog will never do that. Oh boi, how wrong I was to believe that. I never knew a video game would breaks my heart. The story is no way close to believable or realistic. You can't chew nor swallow it. You'd have to cut up your stomach and shove it right in to actually digest it. Oh don't get me started with the aftertaste. (Not going to bash it too much because I still like that TLOU2, even just a little).
    7 years of waiting wasted and I regret buying it. What happen to Neil Druckmann? I tried to enjoy the game but, I'm a fan of the 1st game. This ruins it, big time. I thought a good game was suppose to be fun, has moral values and leave good memories. TLOU2 strays away from the 1st game. It's bad. How many times should I say that this is a bad game?.. It's bad. Really really bad. The story that is. Bad. Bad dog...bad Naughty Dog company.. Bad dog.. Disappointment. That is all I can say.    … Expand

    As you can see, I generally disliked the story and plot, I believe the game drags a lot, especially in the Abby sections they go in for way too long. It was incredibly frustrating to have to play as Abby for that long and when you’re finally done you have to beat up Ellie the person you’re supposed to be playing as, I feel like Naughtydog wants us to sympathize with Abby and almost in a way says that we’re the bad guys. This is a revenge story, revenge already!

    At the same time though I loved the exploration, the more open ended level design worked wonderfully, the level of painstaking detail in this game is absolutely staggering. This is the most detailed game I’ve played to date and that part of the game shines the brightest in my eyes. In During gameplay I was fully immersed, only to be taken out of the immersion by the story. The storytelling through things the player finds in the game world is far superior to the actual story of the game and I don’t believe that’s a good thing. In conclusion, if you’re gonna play this game for the story, don’t, it retroactively makes the story of the first game worse and is not worth purchasing the game for in the slightest. But if you’re someone who can look past the story, and you play games more for the fun of it, I do in fact recommend this game.    … Expand

    I loved my time playing this game. I think that Naughty Dog retained their incredible streak of amazing games dating back to Uncharted Drakes Fortune. Many people shredded this game based on leaks and the quick death of Joel. While this is unfortunate, it is not a reason to trash a great game for a decision you didnt like. It was a bold choice that they made to tell a new story, JoelsI loved my time playing this game.     I do agree that we played as Abby a little to much, but i grew to understand why she did what she did and actually agreed with what she did because of the death of her dad. I would have done the same thing in that situation.

    Overall I dont think this game deserved to be review bombed so bad when so many people put so much work into the game for our enjoyment.

    The last of us part 2 is very disappointing . The story is poorly written in my opinion. The only characters that stuck out to me was Ellie and Joel along with the flashback scenes of there time together. But everything else is just bad

    If you have played the first game and loved it for its gameplay and gameplay is important to you get this game. There not to many innovations though( unless you count prone, jumping, and 1 new infected.) If you play the last of us part 2 for story, I wouldn't recommend it. Gameplay, sound design, graphics, and gore is great. It lacks in characters and story

    Quand je m'arrête 5 min, et que je penses à toutes les histoires qu'on auraient pu avoir dans ce jeu la, si la féministe Anita Sarkeesian aurais jamais mis les pieds chez Naughtydogs... omg. La rage m'envahit.

    J'ai platiner ce jeu la en 33 heures, je lui donne 5 sur 10. Impossible de lui donner plus haut que ca. Si vous voulez un bien meilleur jeu pour votre argent, achetez Ghost of Tsushima. Lui je l'ai platiner aussi, et c'est un gros 9 sur 10. Un must play.    … Expand

    I really love the game. At first you think "what is going on?" but then you start understanding everything. It has a LOT of amazing details from the story. Many people say its a horrible game because they are Disney lovers and they like the stories that have sad moments but always finish with everyone singing, but in this game this doesn't happen.

Game's story is just one jumbled mess. I get what they were trying to go for, they just failed at executing it.     Buenas, el juego tiene buenos gráficos y jugabilidad, pero la historia la trabajaron mal, giros de la historia que no tienen sentido, y personajes que cambian su personalidad porque sí. Después de un tiempo el juego aburre por lo mismo no tiene sentido lo que se está viendo. Si sacaran un juego nuevo a partir de este no lo compraría. Tenían todo para realizar una historia que tuvieraBuenas, el juego tiene buenos gráficos y jugabilidad, pero la historia la trabajaron mal, giros de la historia que no tienen sentido, y personajes que cambian su personalidad porque sí. Después de un tiempo el juego aburre por lo mismo no tiene sentido lo que se está viendo. Si sacaran un juego nuevo a partir de este no lo compraría. Tenían todo para realizar una historia que tuviera coherencia.
    Tal vez para alguien que ha jugado poco el juego le parece formidable, pero para jugadores que han pasado desde el Atari hasta la actualidad y muchas historias de videojuegos y mecánicas, notan mejor estos problemas.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I consider this game a failure of Neil Drakman. The game is stuffy, drawn out and stupid in the setting of the plot. For me, the game ended at the point where we said goodbye to Joel. That's what kept the games going. It is he who is first remembered by all the players. His character, reticence, and decisions generally influenced how he became and how he was remembered. But in the second part of such memorable characters were. What did we trade Joel for? On the pumped-up, slightly stupid Abby, who betrayed all her close friends, in order to save unfamiliar characters. Or Allie, who suffers from bipolar disorder? Her opinion changes like a weather vane.
    If I had been in Joel's shoes at the end of the original The Last of Us, I would have accepted Ellie's surgery without a second thought.
    Dina was brought into the game to...
    To have it!
    Remove it from the game, an insignificant part of the story will disappear.
    The game itself cannot be an independent product. It is based on the success of the first part.
    The Last of Us should have been left without a sequel. I feel sorry for the money I gave for the game.

    I am ready to praise the technical component of the game. I didn't think that from an old PS4 you can pull such a beautiful picture.

    Well if this continued to Part 3. Just make Ellie have a son named Joel, and back to the main story with Ellie Vaccine, there so many country in this World, no way that there is no another doctor, well in the TLOU 1 said 60% people in this world already been death (Well they turn into zombies actually), make the story that Ellie will be fight again with Fireflies to get her for the vaccine

    Even if some people disliked this sequel, I personally think this game is very enjoyable and fun to play. The main requirement to have a good time playing it is approaching Tlou2 open-minded, and trying to accept what happens. Apart from some story moments Tlou2 is a perfect game.

Speaking of story, there are elements in it that some don't like that I personally don't have a problem with. Some people don't like certain characters, like Abby, though by the end of the game I ended up liking her more than I did early on. There's a serious event that happens near the the beginning that she is connected with and while some don't like this decision, I think that is the only thing that drives the story from that point.

    The big issue I do have with this game is its pacing, especially towards the middle. I thought the choice here was an interesting one, but it was also very jarring after the amount of time spent playing at that point.

    Gameplay-wise, it's definitely an improvement. Combat and stealth feel smoother, crafting mid-encounter doesn't feel like much of a hassle, and simple touches like jumping and going prone add a few more possibilites to encounters.

    It's also worth mentioning that on the technical side of things, to briefly mention, graphics are stunning, both for characters and the world. Character animations are very fluid and lifelike and facial animations are super realistic, especially in cutscenes.

    Overall, while the story of this game holds it back from being anywhere near great, I still think it's a good story. Taking that with some improved gameplay and this is an experience that I find to be better than the first game, in my opinion. Not everyone will like it, but if you're curious about this game, give it a shot.    … Expand

    I did not believe all the hate at first but when i finally played it saw it. What the F? where did the meaningful story go? it is all pretentious and for the shock value that fails miserably. What the F happened? apart from the story the gameplay is the same cinematic sony style we are used to. This jus tdoesn't cut it anymore! cant recomend this game at full price. it just is not fun

    The Last Of Us Part II is hands-down the greatest video game I've had the pleasure of playing, the world building is awesome and incredibly detailed, the combat is absolutely brutal and you feel every single blow as you exact your bloody and furious revenge.

    This game made me feel things I didn't think it was possible to get from a video game. A truly staggering achievement of moral complexity.

    This game basically match the expectation with the gameplay (pretty much like the previous one) and the visual (top notch as 2020), however it failes when it comes to narration, plot and characters.

    In this game you play with Ellie in the first half, and another character for a little bit, until you have to play as Ellie again.

    In the first half of the game you experience scenes that allow you to understand Ellie a little better, expecially with Joel and another girl (Ellie is lesbian). Unfortunaly only the scenes with Joel are well done, and the session in the natural science museum can easily be marked as the best thing you'll experience in this game. Her relation with the other girl can described without spoiler as meaningless because it's never been properly developed for various reasons. When finally the two are together Ellie decide to leave her for her last journey towards the end of the game as a proof the Ellie-Joel bond was simply better story wise and the girl relation wasn't a big deal.

    In the other character experience there's not much to talk about. You're going to experience the story from a different point of view and it takes a while to understand the motivation of the new character.

    The game ends with Ellie who leave the girl she supposed to love, and starts a journey that probably will takes months or so to hunt down the other character you played with.
    It's really difficult to understand why they invest to much in the romance just to ditch it away in the end, why Ellie starts a journey to find another girl that as far as she know may well be dead (or may die during her hunt). It's even harder to understand the ending scene, knowing that no previous hints were shown to comprehend the sudden change in motivations that Ellie.
    The whole ending scenes feel bad because a lot a things happen during this journey and none of them allow the player to understand the final choice of Ellie, leaving the player with the uncomfortable sensation that the devs focus too much on side contents narration and invest so few in the meaningful storyline.    … Expand

    But the game play is boring, same scripts than the first one, this could be done without the infected ones. There are some things to improve, I opened so much empty drawers...

    The story is not bad, but i did not see it very interesting tho.

    Neither a bad game, nor a masterpiece.

    Gameplay has not near enough depth to support such a long game. Human AI is good, but I spent most of the game time looking for resources to craft stuff. Graphics and sounds are awesome.
    The world building is quite poor. The zombies did not make any sense (how on earth are they walking without food for many years underground?) When I saw they don't freeze in the blizzard while I am dressed in winter coat broke the world for me and was never able to believe anything ever again. Iterations were needed and sorely missed. When building a world it has to follow its on rules and everything else in this game follow real world physics and biology, Except for the zombies and this shows.

    Story is nonsensical. Both protagonist are clinically insane; murdering a bunch of people indiscriminately. The two love triangles are laughable and the game fails to make me care about the characters. I just did not spend enough time with anyone to form a bond and they die randomly anyway.
    This game badly needed reality check during development.

    The game is just plain boring. They should have cut the Abby story-line out as it is filler and remove some useless characters like Dina.    … Expand

    There are some downsides in stealth part of the game, making stealth centred game offering 3-4 stealth mechanics and some of them are opening after 1/3 of the game.
    Gameplay is fantastic, extending mechanics from first part with some new options and perfecting animations, new enemies, ai that make you hate people more than infected species. Design of the surrounding and new experience of vertical levels just awesome, every location gave its own story that is perfectly described by notes that you can find while exploring. In some parts of the game tension and stressful situations are dominating and you're waiting till moment when you can just relax and have a bit of exploration, I found myself being tired of such big amount of tension and pressure but it is fully justified by storyline and from this point I'll switch my review on it.

    In general plot looks like a logical completion of characters from the first part, even new characters seems to provide some additional perspective on things that have been done by protagonists from first instalment, downside of this part is that some storylines of new characters seems to be rushed and have lack of motivation behind them. But we need to keep in mind that this story is about people we already know surrounded by post pandemic world, cruel and brutal world where survival is on the first place, and as any survival in such world there definitely would be victims of the decisions that are done by people, some of them are motivated and some are done in anger or fear. In these story we can feel all the results of such doings. But not in slick manner, opposite of it, deep and rooted in emotions, in full palette of them. You can experience fathers love, resentment to be deceived, struggle from PTSD and self hate, and rage blindness (keep in mind that main symbol of the game is moth that flies blindly on the light that will burn it). Storyline have plenty of layers and symbolism what is very rare in such AAA projects, I can understand reasons of such hate and misunderstanding of gamers community, but we need to treat games like piece of art that is given for us to experience emotions (not always good ones), and not just like entertainment for 20-30 hours. In terms of how story is presented and aligned in gameplay is just great, to have a complete picture you need at least two walkthroughs. Having so mush details and things that gives you chills is fantastic. But second part of the story is blurred by events before it, you have a feeling like you need to pass it as quickly as possible to finally get know what will happen next, and you don't have time to explore world, read notes and develop character skills more precisely. Time that is allocated to familiarize with new characters also doesn't work in its purpose. But as I've written above this story is about characters we all know, that are developed and grown on us during first game and are deeply opened up during second part.

    This was the most beautiful game I ever played on ps4 with facial expressions and voice acting being pure masterpiece.

    Absolute perfection. The best video game I've ever played, with a story that floored me from start to finish. I've played through it twice and gotten the platinum trophy on it, and I can't recommend it enough. The combat is amazing and will forever change how I look at future video games. A must-buy for fans of the original.

    This game is not worthy of a 95, not even close. In fact in almost every regard it's inferior to the original that's 7 years old. Naughty dog clearly has philosophy for this game make it as sappy and emotional as possible to draw a reaction but take a back seat and look how cheap the story (and game play) really is.

I find it super dark, scary, violent, which is not rare for games, but also the game is not restful, the story has unexpected turns, and most of all, it didn’t let me be neutral towards characters’ actions. And that makes the game different.

    Every character in the game does things which seem to be right on the one hand, and they are absolutely destructive on another. That’s why I don’t want to call them good or bad, however, I think Ellie is the only character who will be able to forget what had happened and live a happy life following her own decisions.

    Joel. By taking away Ellie from the hospital Joel broke her dream to help Fireflies in a vaccine invention and destroyed the only hope to save humanity. Even if he was not able to let her die as Ellie reminded Joel’s daughter, Ellie was a different person with different intentions and she couldn’t and didn’t want to be a replacement. It caused a conflict between them. Joel looked like a caring farther and his death was difficult to watch. At the same time after it happened in the very beginning, it became a fact to accept somehow. And then I full of regrets continued playing full of regrets.

    Abby. Playing Abby’s part was so exhausting, it felt like runaround. Intentions and actions of this character seem incompatible through the whole game. And this is the most rare thing in games, I’ve never met such plot turns in other games, main characters often do “what they have to do” or “what gamers would approve”. But with Abby it’s like watching (and playing) when somebody is doing stupid actions.

    She devoted her life to revenge of her farther’s death, and again, it couldn’t return him back to her. And taking her loss this intention is clear. She was a member WLF. The organisation doesn’t leave many chances to strangers and its own members to go their own way, especially when this way was not beneficial to WLF. After getting back to WLF from Jackson, after taking revenge for her farther, the first thing that Abby did, she left the organisation without permission before a big fight against WLF rival in order to meet her friend who had doubts in WLF mission. It felt like Abby didn’t want to stick to WLF any more, like all the duties she started taking unwillingly.

    After the first part, Ellie’s part, exactly before a denouement, the game is being cut short and Abby’s part has been started. It felt like unexpected nuisance a few steps before the sweet relief.

    After escaping from Seattle, Abby is looking for Fireflies. She didn’t notice that due to pandemic the world didn’t leave so many choices to a single person. I could go on and on about how they butchered Joel, Ellie, Tommy, and the idea of overarching villains, but there isn't really any reason at this point in time due to the attention that the game has received in correspondence with the horrible choices the creators made. I bought the game to see for myself whether the game was as bad as people were claiming cause I had faith that Naughty Dog was better than all the other game companies like Blizzard, Ubisoft, etc, but I was wrong, and altough I know now for sure for myself I also can justify the 60$ I spent on this game at all. I preferred the mess of the Left Behind dlc to this cause at least I actually liked Riley and her relationship with Ellie. All I can say for Dina is that she is pretty, her personality is nonexistent and her "chemistry" with Ellie is presumed by the creators as if that's how friendships/romances work. Side note: The guitar scene with dina and Take Me On went on for way too long, and I feel that it sums the game up perfectly.     Segundo: O jogo se baseia em QTE e Cutscene, o tipo de jogo que eu mais odeio.

    They spend time on worthless characters in the story. Three time lines create feeling that we as players do not progress in the story at all. Annoyingly reuse locations for 2-3 times. No depth in Rattlers/Slavers and Scars/Cultists.
    Joel should be finished in the middle of the game and till that no info for players who is Abby so we get the surprise moment. 2nd half chase Abby. Ellie and Abby must be available already in the first half of the game. Dumb decisions. Poor writing.
    Naughty Dog choose the easiest way. Give such a beloved franchise/characters to a writer who worked on a few episodes in Westworld show and thats it. Seriously. Couldnt find a more professional writer?!    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.
