    Прекрасная драма! Очень оригинальный сюжет который заставляет испытывать целую палитру эмоций. Вы будете ненавидеть антогониста и переживать за протагониста, у вас будет нереальная мотивация убивать каждого врага.

    Все кто ставят низкие оценки - полные идиоты. Основные их притензии к игре - мы недовольны убийством одного из главных героев+мы ненавидим главного антогониста(!)+концовку    Прекрасная драма!     Все кто ставят низкие оценки - полные идиоты. Основные их притензии к игре - мы недовольны убийством одного из главных героев+мы ненавидим главного антогониста(!)+концовку дибилы не поняли. И это в игре где в целом не может быть хэппи энда.

    Повестка - есть, но она не бросается а глаза. Элли была лгбт еще в первой игре, Эбби так выглядит потому что она солдат, как бы и в целом это пост апокалипсис а не Польша 12 века. Тогда почему всего этого здесь не может быть? В первой игре были и геи и афроамериканцы и сильные женщины - все было ок.

    Отдельное спасибо за шикарный геймплей, это настоящий симулятор партизанской войны. Обсирание игры это прекрасный пример того, что аудитория еще не выросла и не готова к необычным сюжетам в играх.

    10 из 10, игра которая способна привлекать в индустрию видео игр новую аудиторию    … Expand

Я только что закончил прохождение (потратив на игру 33 часа) и остался в полном восторге. Это просто чёртов аттракцион эмоций. Это лично для меня одно из лучших творений в истории игровой индустрии. Agoniante jogar com a abby, mataram o joel duma forma horrível, ignoraram como a personalidade dos personagens eram, deixaram um cliffhanger GIGANTESCO e aí pra descobrir oq acontece eu tenho q jogar 10 **** HORAS com a pessoa q debulhou o joel a pau pra "simpatizar" com ela, o que só acaba dando mais raiva pq ngm ta nem aí pra ela e só quer saber oq acontece na porra do cliffhanger, e na porra do final a gente nao tem nem o prazer de ver ela morrendo, pq a porra da ellie tem um flashback do joel (?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!). Ou seja, ela matou gente pra um caralho, abandonou a familia dela, perdeu amigos, perdeu dois dedos junto com a capacidade de tocar um violão, pra AJUDAR a pessoa que espancou o joel até a morte. Muito bom, naughty dog, vcs são uns gênio, parabéns. Sem contar q nenhuma aprende com a outra né, a abby deixou a ellie viva duas vezes e adivinha oq aconteceu?     First of all, i want to say that The Last of Us is for me the best game i’ve ever played, i’ve never been so attached for characters like i was for Joel and Ellie, and the union of their relationship, the story, and the soundtrack, is just perfect for me, it’s the first game which made me cry. And i also want to say that i first played this game this year, 2 weeks before Part II... yeah,First of all, i want to say that The Last of Us is for me the best game i’ve ever played, i’ve never been so attached for characters like i was for Joel and Ellie, and the union of their relationship, the story, and the soundtrack, is just perfect for me, it’s the first game which made me cry. And i also want to say that i first played this game this year, 2 weeks before Part II... yeah, luckily i’m not the old fan who waited 7 years. So i pre-ordered The Last of Us Part II because i really wanted to see a sequel for Joel and Ellie journey...
    I finished Part II twice and got platinum trophy, i played it for 65 hours in total.
    Lets get to my opinion, and some facts about the creation of the game.


    Graphics: 10/10 The graphics are really good, there’s not a lot of improvements since Uncharted 4 but it’s better, one of the best looking games of the generation.

    Gameplay: 10/10
    Personally, i really like The Last of Us gameplay, specially with Ellie and her switchblade, it’s basically the same gameplay of the first game but with some improvements.

    Acting and Voice Acting: 10/10
    Really well done, Ashley Johnson as Ellie and Laura Bailey as Abby did a great job on their actings.

    Sound Effects: 10/10

    Soundtrack: 8/10
    Gustavo Santaolalla is a brilliant composer, this game’s soundtrack is really great but it’s still not better than the original.

    Environment: 9/10
    Places like Seattle and Santa Barbara are beautiful in this game, there’s a huge amount of details. And i really like the apocalyptic scenario and the nature on the city.

    Story: 5/10
    The beginning with Joel was great and let me even more hyped, but then he is killed on the first 2 hours, the scene was forced, but i did cry when Ellie went to his house... So they did it, they killed the main character, but i had respect for Naughty Dog, they’ve never disappointed me before and seeing the great games they’ve done, in my mind Part II just couldn’t be bad, so after Joel’s death, i kept playing and really enjoyed, i really liked the game until Seattle Day 3 with Ellie, and her flashbacks were the best part of the game, so after this, it starts the Abby part, uninteresting and boring, i mean, her playthrough is more interesting since her story is not just a typical revenge, and also the Rat King battle is with her, but Abby and Lev is the new Joel/Ellie but poorly written and not nearly as captive, they forced me to like Abby but it’s impossible.
    When i finished it i was just filled with disappointment and emptiness, after playing half game with Abby i was bored and the ending is unsatisfactory, i’ve seen a lot of sad ending in games which were really well done and made me feel, but this one is not just bad, it’s empty and pointless, the story makes you feel miserable, and forces you to like Abby and hate Joel and Ellie by their actions
    The same story could be better if told in another way, and if we played just with Ellie.
    And i was aware of some spoilers like Joel’s death, but it’s not because Joel will die that the game will be bad, the things gets really worse after that... Characters: 4/10
    There’s a lot of uninteresting new characters in this game, they’re not as nearly well written as the Uncharted and The Last of Us characters and also the old characters are completely different in this game just to fit the script.


    Overall Score: 5/10
    The game is focused on the story, which let me really disappointed and as a sequel of The Last of Us is just a forgettable story with forgettable characters, but if this game wasn’t a sequel it wouldn’t be this bad.
    The game is the Neil Druckmann’s point of view of Joel’s actions, he never liked Joel because of his actions and always wanted to get this character out of the story, so if you have strong feelings about Joel and Ellie relationship don’t play the game, but if you agree with Druckmann political opinions or don’t really have feelings for Joel and Ellie, you probably will like this game.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I refrained from judging until I made it to the end of the game and now I actually understand why this game is so low-rated by the players. To begin with: the story itself turned out so shallow, despite the deep drama and emotions of the characters. I actually feel a little waste of time by playing a game of blind revenge without any high cause. Eye for an eye is what it's all about. Frustrated about wasted lives, all the losses that character had to face in the name of... revenge. Comparing to pt.1, pt.2 feels and looks so immature. Oh well and last but not least: the agenda, that what actually makes you feel homophobic. You are fed with gay stories all the way, and when the storyline told about the Scar boy/girl (I couldn't tell in the end) with self-identification issues It look ridiculously squeezed into the hard post-apocalyptic world. When I completed the story of pt.1 I hoped that there would be no sequel that would ruin the feel of delight. And then pt.2 happened. Game mechanics are pretty much the same, detail level is impressive as before, Naughty Dog raised the level once again, the difficulty happens to be easier than pt.1, but pt.2 compensates being literally crowded with enemies. This is my first review and I really wanted to explain why this game was given all the cold. Try it for yourself.… Expand

    I created this account to write that this game is bigger in scope than the original. Yes some events that happen in the story are too sad. But, this is the story the creative director wants us to experience and I respect that. I disliked playing as a certain character because that character didn’t matter to me. Devastating ending and fulfilling in its own way. The reviews that comment on the political statement can go play some other game. Crime and Punishment isn’t an easy read, but it expands your ability to appreciate literature and makes you a better person for it. If you can’t handle it, there is Marvel. I wish the ending was different, I wish someone didn’t die, but that isn’t this game. And as it is, this game is a Masterpiece. Masterpiece.… Expand

I would hate for you to have to think critically or expand your horizons. It’s a shame how many people left crap reviews and they clearly didn’t even play long enough to let the storyline unfold. Lo que a mi respecta la historia es muy buena (aunque haya vacios argumentales pequeños pero que afectan), al hablar de la muerte de joel, yo creo que era un mal necesario por que desde antes que saliera sabiamos que iba a morir alguien dina o joel, ahora que termine el juego puedo decir que esto era necesario para que el jugador se sintiera identificado porque si dina hubiera muerto seria una historia obligada por que no nos habriamos encariñado con esta personaje, hablar del final eso es mas complicado, para mi fue demasiado abierto pero a la vez replica el del primero, algo que no me gusta es que la gente se queje de el downgrade que hubo, el juego se ve perfecto y los detalles que pusieron no se les compara a nada, la jugabilidad es hermosa no hay nada que decir de esta solo que intenta ser lo contrario a la del primer juego, la del primer juego era tosca y lenta, la de ahora es rapida agil y eso me encanta.… Expand

    The last of us part 2 is an amazing game, it might have it’s sad moments and things that as a fan of the first game didn’t want to happen but at the end it all makes sense and you kind of accept it.

It was such an emotional experience. the graphics are the best out there, the voice acting is incredible, and the gameplay is always so fun and intense. The story is also incredible, and it is the only game I actually cried in. There has been some criticism of the story. The main reason is Joel's death. People are mad at the disrespectful way he was killed and how they don't like Abby and her friends. There are also more reasons for the hate of this game, but I am just listing the two reasons I think are the main ones. About the reactions of Abby and her accomplices: People think that when they play a game they have to agree with everything that happens in it. That is not the case, especially in this game. This game gives you the facts of a situation, and lets you decide how to feel. About Joel's death: I agree that his death was disrespectful, but I think that the disrespectfulness of the death is a good thing, it shows you how violent and serious the world of The Last of Us 2 is. It also fuels the fire of hatred against Abby. Overall, it makes you think about what the characters do and what they are, and changes you as a person.… Expand

Но заметьте, даже после того, как Ноти Дог под давлением фашистов, изуродовали Элли, она все равно прекрасна, как ни крути.По поводу ЛГБТ, скажу так, мне по душе такая раскладка личном плане Элли, это иногда очень мило и не смотрится, конечно как то отвратительно по сравнению со сценой, как раком ставят Эбби, тем более, как мы видим из дополнения, Элли уже в детстве нравились только девочки. Так что, я не считаю, что есть прям прямая пропаганда. И еще кардинальный минус этой игры, это парт за Эбби. Мне, как и многим игрокам, она не понравилась и я бы хотел в идеале, чтобы он был хотя бы чуть-чуть по меньше. Но я примерно предполагаю, почему это сделано. Я думаю, это ради еще большей привязанности к Элли в сравнение с Эбби. Вообщем игра отличная и полита дерьмом она совсем не справедливо.     Simply one of the best games I have ever played in my life. Naughty dog really knows how to tell a story. I strongly recommend to play, but you have got to be with your heart opened to understand.

    Wow, well what can I say about this game. This game is intense, it is infuriating, it is ingenious, it is immoral, it is incredible. There's a lot of words there beginning with I. I did that, as I see a lot of negative reviews using I. "I wouldn't of done that". "I don't agree with that" etc. Now, I'm not discounting ALL the negative reviews, people are entitled to their opinions. However when you give a game a 5 out of 10 (hell less than a 7), because you say it's not what "you would have done". Sorry my dudes, but the game isn't about you.

    An example of this that I'll give, and I won't refer to them by name. This reviewer said things like, they wouldn't have done that. They didn't understand or couldn't relate to, how the main character would do what they did, because of what happens to them. That they didn't like how part 2, forced them to play as if they killed a certain character at the end of part 1, and they're adamant they didn't. Things like that last part, are what you need to keep an eye out for. You have to kill that character at the end of part one, it's not a choice, part 1 forces you to do that. You can't complete the game if you don't. So straight away, you know this reviewer is full of it. Then the fact that they can't separate what they would do irl, from what a character would do in a video game. So to them, the narrative of the game is a mess, that doesn't make sense, so they give it a 5. You can't do that.

    To me, the story of the last of us, is about the characters in the game, what decisions they would make, faults and all. Ultimately, it's about the story Naughty Dog wanted to tell, we're just along for the ride. Most of these negative reviews are attention seeking trolls, and review bombers, but not all.


    The last of us part 2, took everything that was groundbreaking with the first game, and cranked it up. This game is one of the most technologically impressive games of the generation. It's level, sound and environmental design is exceptional, it's **** beautiful, to put it simply. Combat is fluid, and probably the best I've played this gen. Every encounter is harrowing. Each kill is brutal, and the fact that every enemy has a name, which the other npcs will call out when finding their body, just adds to horror. I won't even touch on the feels about the dogs. [Insert sad face]

    The story, however divisive, is one of the best I've ever experienced. That being said, when I think about the story. Sometimes I loved it, and at times, I straight up hated it. Which just made me love it more, because it provoked such an emotional response from me. That's the point. They perfectly crafted the game to do that. They want you to feel every moment, love and hate. That's what makes some of the story beats hit so hard, and gameplay choices make sense, once you've completed the game.

    That's the biggest thing. PLEASE complete the game, then make your decision. Multiple times even. You can't take the leaks at face value. Some are true, some are just straight out lies, but all are taken out of context. Once you've played through the game, with all the facts, what Naughty Dog did with the story, makes perfect sense. You can see everyone's side of the story, you can understand everyone's motivations, and why they do what they do, or don't in some cases.    … Expand

    This game is a masterpiece. Anyone giving it a bad rating is either brain dead, hasn't played it, or is a butt hurt pansy who cries every time they don't get what they want. The story and gameplay are brilliant and the game looks BEAUTIFUL. Everyone throwing a tantrum over certain events in the plot need to get over themselves.

    The Last of Us Part 2 is a game seven years in the making, the long awaited follow up to what is widely considered one of the best games of the last decade.

    Let me start by saying I think the story is amazing. I go much more in to the nitty gritty in my full review on my YouTube channel DotakuHUB but here I will just say that while there were completely personal issues I had with the structure of the story and placement of certain scenes, I think on the whole the narrative was wonderfully crafted. The story made me feel the entire range of emotions. Happiness, sadness, anger, frustration, all of it and there were parts where I felt really uncomfortable and even hated what was happening but that was the whole point. Its meant to make you feel uncomfortable, it's meant to challenge you. The long and short of it is that its not an easy story to experience but that's the whole idea.

    Graphically I mean, do I even have to say anything? This game is probably one of the most gorgeous games I have ever played if not THE most gorgeous. Sure its not my personal all time favorite from a stylistic standpoint, that’d be Bloodborne, but it is impossible to argue that this game in terms of pure graphical fidelity isn't absolutely jaw dropping. From the textures on things like Ellie's backpack, to the heaps of little details added to enhance character and weapon models, to the insanely dense environments, to the best in class lighting this game looks fantastic. Much like I couldn’t believe that Part 1 was running on a PS3 I can’t believe Part 2 is running on a PS4 and I can’t wait to see it running even better on the PS5.

    The sound design is great. This has some of the most immersive sound design in any game I’ve ever played. The sounds of the various weapons and enemies, the sounds of the surrounding world, the various audio cues, all serve to add to the atmosphere and tone of the game. I also really enjoyed the st of the game, from the licensed tracks to the songs written specifically for the game. It's all really well done.

    Gameplay wise this will feel very familiar to the first. You gather resources, craft, upgrade yourself and your weapons all while sneaking around and or killing various threats from both the infected and human enemies. That said there are tons of small changes and tweaks that make the gameplay feel even more enjoyable this time around, at least for me. Ellie for example doesn't need to craft shivs, instead using her knife for quick stealth kills and instead of valuable resources being hidden behind shiv doors you have to use basic problem solving skills to get into some more out of the way areas. Weapon upgrades are no longer locked behind tool kits, instead you can unlock any available weapon upgrades so long as you have sufficient bolts. Almost on the flipside, player upgrades are now locked behind various training manuals in a light skill tree system to enhance your stealth, crafting, combat ext. Stealth has seen an enhancement thanks to the ability to go entirely prone and hide under various objects and in tall grass,which helps in doing away with many of the stereotypical waste high walls from the first game. Combat sees the addition of a dodge mechanic which really helps make melee combat much more plausible and something I actually used way more often this time around.

    Overall The Last of Us Part 2 is a more than worthy sequel to Part 1. It created an even more emotionally challenging narrative, the graphics were a massive leap forward, the sound design was top notch and the gameplay was familiar but still a significant improvement of what was there.    … Expand

That makes the story really realistic. The story is about humans struggling with themselves and what society wants them to be. So this isn t a story to make you feel good. It is a story to make you think about what you explore. And you have to think a lot.
    By playing both sides the player learns, to know different points of views for one incident. And so in the end it isn't easy to say what ist wrong and what ist right, or if there even is wring and right.

Après, il n'est pas vraiment original, les auteurs ont qbien été inspirés par de nombreuses autres oeuvres et ça se ressent très fort puisque le gameplay ne suffit pas à apprécier le jeu.

    Gameplay is too easy with a lot of combat with human enemies. Infected are not a threat, and they don't scare the player like in part one. Story is really bad, no turnarounds, strange decisions and I did not have the connection with any of the characters. All of this makes the game feel too long and boring in some places. People say that joel and Ellies characters don't feel authentic but survivors guilt has eaten away at Ellie for years. The killing of certain characters brutally is in line with the world that we have previously been introduced to. People are annoyed because now it applies to their favourite characters too. If you want a Holywood, 'everything ends wonderfully game dont buy this. If you want an unapologetic look into the reality of the world presented and can appreciate more neaunced story telling wuth genuine heart and feel and arnt just looked to be triggered by anything that is presented to you (entitiled) then you will see what a masterpiece this game is… Expand

I will give this game 0 but I don't want my review to be deleted again so I will give it 3 for the sake it runs. The game story is worse than GOT8. The story doesn't make sense and the characters are just acting like they are not the same characters that were already built in the first game! for example the brave girl from the first game is nothing but a loser in the 2nd game. 7 years of work to give us a childish story of how revenge is bad.     Despite my criticism, I don't take all the positive side out of the game. Like the cut scenes that were sensational, the "heavy" moments, the attention to graphics, Sound Design, micro details. It is certainly one of the best games of all time, but it is not a perfect game, as neither is. So there are flaws that may be able to improve in the future.

Unfortunately, it has been subject to negative criticism from people who are unable to handle the emotional stress it puts you through. Naughty Dog asks us the hard questions about our own personalities even as we put ourselves in the shoes of each character.
    Joel dies guys, deal with it. I cried. But I didn't hate on the game because of that. It's amazing how you hate Abby in the beginning. When the turn happens in Seattle Day 3 and we are forced to play as Abby. I put the controller down and took a day off. I pushed myself to continue and that decision paid off. By the end of the game, I did not want to kill Abby when I fight with her as Ellie. I was rooting for Abby not to die. The same Abby that killed Joel. Now, that is the beauty of this medium we call video games. The agency and narrative possible does not allow a movie to achieve this level of involvement.
    This is why I think this game should be in the hall of fame of video games.
    A few other things I want to state is the amazing work the studio has done with every art in the game. Design, Mechanics, Animation. Everything perfected. The sound design and cinematography are top notch and better than most Hollywood blockbusters.     The story though. The story left a lot to be desired, with inconsistencies, Battle of Winterfell level plot armor, and just some bad writing in general. I was okay with the twist and Joel's death at first, even though the false advertising is kind of infuriating. Ellie's 3 days in Seattle; I loved. I stayed away from the leaks and went into the game blind and throughout those 3 days I was thinking, hey, why do people not like this? It's great!

    And then came the part which totally turned the game on it's head for me. The ~10 hours playing as Abby. The entire game depends on whether you like and sympathize with Abby or not, and I personally did not. I couldn't care less about her friends, and didn't even flinch on seeing them die one by one. So many WLF characters introduced, literally none of them resonated with me. I mean I don't even remember half of their names, that's how little I cared about them. Probably the only emotion I showed was doing a little celebratory cheer when Tommy shot Manny. That was nice.

    As the game went on, my dislike for Abby increased. I mean it's hard to like someone who takes joy in torture (Joel, the captured Seraphites at the WLF compound she wanted a few moments with) and sleeps with their pregnant friend's boyfriend. Yeah, definitely not endearing. For others like me who didn't like her, the 10 hours playing as her would have been absolutely torturous. I considered dropping the game around halfway through them. No one wants to play that long with an MC they hate.

    And then the ending. By the time it rolled around I was already extremely disappointed with and tired of the game, and it did nothing to change my emotions. Probably made my opinion of the game worse, if anything.

    Looking back on it, I cannot be more disappointed with the game that Naughty Dog put out. As a standalone, sure, it'd be a great game. But as a sequel to The Last of Us? Pretty bad. If they were insistent on putting Abby's part of the story across, there would have been much better ways to go about it.    … Expand

Flashback elements were superfluous, Abby and her companions bland at their best, reprehensible at their worst.

    If you want a game about the violent cycles of revenge, play RDR and RDR2. You'll have a better time.    … Expand

    I actually enjoyed this game. I believe it to be game of the year. An emotional roller coaster. They did a good job with the story mixing. I wasn't too fond of the hidden cultural type of propaganda behind certain characters. However, the overall game was very well done.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Last Of Us Part II made me think about a game that was released to critical acclaim in early 2013. The game was praised for it's inclusion of, and dealing with, difficult themes like racism, extremism and nationalism and multiple reviewers nominated it instantly for game of the year. That is until the original The Last Of Us was released a couple of months later. The game I'm referring to is Bioshock Infinite. 

The reason The Last Of Us Part II reminded me of this, admittedly incredible, game was as a result of the realisation on how far the medium has come since it's release. One of the most memorable scenes in Bioschock Infinite, regarding racism, led the player to a raffle where a choice is presented for the player to throw a baseball in one of two directions. Through Booker DeWitt (coincidentally voiced by Troy Baker), the player can choose to throw the ball at an interracial couple tied up amidst jungle decor including depictions of monkeys and a giant blackface behind them or at the presenter that's working up the crowd to do the same which would result in the stoning of the couple. It was an incredible moment that dared to drop such a serious topic on the player and it was the first time I considered videogame characters as more than just their total sum of pixels and programming. The game, however, never accepts the consequences of either option for the player. It doesn't matter what choice you let Booker perform he will always be stopped by a guard who recognises the player character, setting the resulting narrative in action. The player never has to face the outcome of their choice. Bioshock Infinite was in that sense still a typical 'gamey' game.

    Where Bioshock Infinite carefully opened the door to take a quick look at what games could someday be, The Last Of Us 2 completely knocks that door down and rushes through to the other end. It is a brutally honest game; honest to it's characters, world and the various themes it presents but even moreso to it's players. Naughty Dog, from beginning to end, forces them to come to grips with their actions in game, playing as both Ellie and Abby, resulting in a certain emotional toll on the player. And even moreso: they masterfully craft those emotions through various nuances and intensity. We flow from sheer excitement to be back in this world to an incredible mixture of hate and wanting revenge. From that the player is carefully and step by step allowed to feel shock, trauma, disgust, fear, hope and, what left the greatest impression on me: grief.

    This, for me, is the first game ever to accomplish this. I vividly remember when I had to play as Abby and I sincerely hoped it wouldn't take too much time. It felt uncomfortable and even though I realised why I had to play as Abby, her murdering Joel simply still hurt too much. At the end of her three days and inching closer to the confrontation with Ellie I understood her character and what she has been through. I understood what she did and what it had cost her. Then the confrontation with Ellie starts and my heart is beating furiously in my throat. Though I empathise with Abby I definitely don't want her to kill Ellie, least of all when I'm controlling her. I also don't want Abby to be killed by Ellie. I've never wanted to avert a 'boss-fight' this much.

    Then the Farm scene acts as an incredible release valve. For a moment all seems well. Ellie and Dina survived Seattle and have settled on the most beautiful farm with little JJ. It all just feels a little too perfect. And it is. It was at this time I finally realised that the narrative followed a traditional five-act structure and that the act of peripety still had to come. The peripety is typically set in motion by a messenger and results in the final showdown and conclusion of the main character's story. Ellie's PTSD and Tommy's visit both act as our messenger and sure enough it does move the pieces to the final conflict. Ellie once again goes after Abby for revenge with a drive to kill her. This time however it is in no way to get justice for Joel's death as it is much more about Ellie desperately trying to find a way to deal with her trauma. Where I sympathised with her quest for revenge after Joel died I couldn't be more antagonistic to her actions now. I wanted to somehow make her realise all she is throwing away by going after Abby now. 

Then, after it's conclusion, even weeks after finishing the game, what remains is grief. Revisiting some pivotal scenes reveal that in how it first evokes hate, it now manifests as a deep sadness. The Last Of Us Part II perhaps isn't the perfect game, but to me it is the first game te genuinely transcend the medium. It creates realistic, multidimensional characters and doesn't shy away from their imperfections all the while dealing with delicate themes with the respect they deserve. This game is a successful attempt to mature the medium and I can't wait how it will influence future gaming.    … Expand

    The Ai of the enemies is bad becoming stupid and predictable , in many cases you could stealth kill most of them in the same place.
    Finally the ending is anticlimactic trying to teach the viewer like a 5 year old that revenge is bad.

I literally just finished it this morning, and now that I can finally indulge in the reviews WITH spoilers, I am simultaneously saddened by the online vitriol from internet trolls and relieved that more in-depth reviewers were left feeling equally as confused as I am right now.

    I want to just focus on the story with this review. I completely understand what Naughty Dog was trying to do to make us feel like every character was flawed, and that the world of The Last of Us is inhabited by far more darkness than light. That being said, it was very difficult to play as Abby for the 2nd half of the game. I found myself rooting for each member of her posse to be taken out. It felt as if I were playing Bill in the Kill Bill movies. It didn't feel right, even with the Lev/Yara storyline. I think if Abby had killed Tommy or Maria while on the run with Lev/Yara from the WLF, or something along those lines, I think I would have felt a lot more invested in her story, even if it still ended up with her killing Joel, but towards the end of the game (when she realizes he killed her father).

    The nihilism of the world of TLOU comes through loud and clear in this chapter, and I applaud Naughty Dog for being brave enough to put their vision out there, regardless of the inevitable backlash. My hope is that whenever they come out with part 3, they wrap up the storylines in such a way as to redeem both Ellie and Abby, and consequently make the infinte sadness of part 2 worth something.

    **Side note: I loved the Lev and Yara characters. Sexual identity is 100% self-determined, and I appreciate them working that into the story. If coming out in today's society is difficult, doing it as Lev did is even more impressive. More practically, it lends a real legitimacy to their escape from the Seraphites, rather than simply waking up and saying, this is wrong. Bravo.    … Expand

Joel was the main protagonist of the first game and truly on of the most unique game characters ever to exist - and the developers had only his rushed death in mind? SHAME ON YOU! They killed him in a way he absolutely didnt deserve. Also it doesnt make sense, that Ebbie and her stupid friends came all the way just to kill Joel? Its so completely random that it cant make sense. And then you even have to play that stupid piece of **** Ebbie. That makes even less sense! How are you supposed to create a good character binding like in the first part if you actually hate the character you are playing? What where those stupid SJW cucks thinking? Neither on of the characters except Joel, Ellie and aslo Lev and his sister meant something to me. Was i supposed to feel less angry if i play Ebbies storyline?? Did you really think that? I didnt even feel ANYTHING when i **** murdered the pregnant woman who **** deserved to die like all of the other **** as well. Same goes for Ellie.

    Ich hab den ersten teil geliebt und habe mich auf den zweiten riesig gefreut. Ich hab sogar in Erwägung gezogen mir extra für dieses Spiel eine PS4 zu holen. Nachdem sich dann schon im Vorfeld zeigte was hier los ist, habe ich mich dagegen entschieden und mir statt dessen nur eine PS4 von einer Freundin geliehen und mir das spiel gebraucht gekauft. Sobald sie es auch durch hat, wirds wieder verkauft. Hauptsache weg mit diesem Schandfleck der spielegeschichte.

    Damit wir uns hier nicht falsch verstehen. Ich habe nicht das geringste gegen das Transgender Thema. Abgesehen davon, das es sehr schlecht in die Geschichte integriert ist. Im Gegenteil. Ich wäre sogar begeistert gewesen, wenn das Thema vernünftig eingearbeitet worden wäre. Warum? Nun, unter anderem weil oben erwähnte Freundin ursprünglich ein Freund war. Aber dazu wird sie hoffentlich selber irgendwann noch ein paar Worte hier schreiben. Daher genug davon.

    Was mich am meisten getört hat war, wie erwähnt, die story mit dem Fokus auf Abby. Warum? Warum ist sie die "gute"? Warum nicht Ellie und Lev auf die reise schicken um Joel zu rächen oder Tommy zurück zu holen? Gerne auch mit Romanze oder sogar dreiecks Geschichte zwischen Ellie, Lev und Dina. Ich kann mir 100 Verläufe der Geschichte vorstellen die besser gewesen wären als Ellie vollständig zu vernichten und ihr am ende sogar die Möglichkeit zu nehmen Gitarre zu spielen. Wenn ich am ende wenigstens die Wahl gehabt hätte Tommy zu sagen "ne lass mal besser nicht machen" und nur wenn ich ja sage wird Ellie so zerstört. Also wenn das "ende" optional gewesen wäre. Aber nein, man spuckt den Spielern lieber ins Gesicht.
    Es hätte so toll sein können. Ich hab mich so gefreut. Aber scheinbar wollte man im hause Naughty Dog das ich nie wieder eines ihrer Spiele neu kaufe. In sofern, hats super geklappt. Ich werde mich ewig an den Spektakulären ersten teil erinnern und sowohl teil zwei als auch Naughty Dog ab jetzt abschreiben.    … Expand

They could have played an epic game, with Joel and Ellie in a more mature relationship, who knows until his death, but in a dignified way, like a warrior he was, and not with a simple coadjuvant. They could have written an intelligent, captivating script as in the first game, but they preferred to try to break the expectation, and the result was total rubbish.     It really makes you think and it was a brutal, but in my case, really good experience.

Como grande fã do primeiro game me senti muito triste ao início, mas ao perceber como o enrredo foi desenvolvido, e que não é apenas uma sequência e sim uma part II, eu vi que é exatamente o que eu queria sentir.     Waited awhile to post this but I was highly disappointed with this sequel, the whole revenge plot that the director wanted to do for this game was poorly implemented and considering Last of Us Part 2 is a story driven game the plot was all over the place & didn't make any sense. While I enjoyed playing as Ellie & Abby but both Characters Overall Plot Was executed very messy & confusing andWaited awhile to post this but I was highly disappointed with this sequel, the whole revenge plot that the director wanted to do for this game was poorly implemented and considering Last of Us Part 2 is a story driven game the plot was all over the place & didn't make any sense. I now understand why the previous Head team at Naughty Dog Development on the first Last Of Us didn't want to Do a Revenge plot on the first game. Why the New Head director choose to do the same for the sequel is beyond me. Unfortunately I cannot in good conscience recommend this game to anyone considering all the crunch culture the employees at Naughty Dog had to go through leading to people leaving the studio, even including all the people who were effected by the DMCA stike takedown & the threat of loosing their Channel on YouTube just for having a opinion on this game. While I hate to say it but I am making a hard choice and will not be looking forward to anything else coming from Naughty Dog Studio anymore, not untill the Studio takes a long look at what they need to do moving forward in order to make a good game.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.
